Biggest Little Fur Con 2015
Biggest Little Fur Con 2015 was third iteration of the Biggest Little Fur Con convention. It took place over May 14-17, 2015,[1] at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, USA.[2]
The motif of the convention was "Utopia" (ironically themed around a totalitarian dystopia).[3] The guests of honor were Rabbit Valley (Sean Rabbitt, Andrew Rabbitt, and Brian Mogged), and Mongoose Ink (Mitch de la Guardia).[4]
BLFC 2015 saw 2443 attendees and 707 fursuiters in the fursuit parade.[5]
BLFC 2015 helped raise $34,000 for their charity, Safe Haven Wildlife Sanctuary.[6]
Controversy[edit]
On Thursday, May 14 2015 (first day of the event), attendee Ryan Hill was detained, handcuffed and removed from the convention space by the hotel's security. The disturbance was witnessed and photographed by various attending congoers.[7][8]
No official reason by the part of the hotel or the concom were given for the detainment and removal of the individual, nor if he was consequently banned from the event.
