Beauty of the Beasts was a comic book series that was published by MU Press.[1] Four issues were released, containing furry pin-ups by various artists.[2]

Issue 1[edit]

Issue 1 was published in May, 1992.[1] The cover art was supplied by Reed Waller, and the comic contained interior art by Resa Challender (Teri Sue Wood), Phil Foglio, Steve Gallacci, Mike Kazaleh, Adrian Kleinbergen, Monika Livingstone, Chuck Melville, Tom Milliorn, Justin Norman (Moritat), Lou Scarborough, Marc Schirmeister, Terrie Smith, Edd Vick, and Taral Wayne

Issue 2[edit]

Issue 2 was published in July, 1993, and featured cover art by Stan Sakai.[3] The internal artwork was by Richard J. Bartrop, David Bliss, Guy Brownlee, Cindy Crowell, Mike Dashow, Bill Fitts, Steven A. Gallacci, Mike Higgs, Garrett Ho, Heather Hudson, Mike Kazaleh, Adrian Kleinbergen, Monika Livingston, Chuck Melville, Tom Milliorn, Gus Norman, Mike Raabe, Sky Rigdon, Toivo Rovainen, Lou Scarborough, Marc Schirmeister, Eric Schwartz, Jay Shell, Diana Vick, Edd Vick, Anthony Waters, Taral Wayne, and Vicky Wyman.[4]

Issue 3[edit]

Issue 3 was released in September, 1996, and contained art by Maggie De Alarcon, Richard J Bartrop, Tim Collier (Talin), David DuPerre, Bill Fitts, Steve Gallacci, Ed Garcia, Christina Hanson (Smudge), David Lee Ingersoll, Mike Kazaleh, Adrian Kleinbergen, Michelle Light, Tom Milliorn, Justin Norman (Moritat), Toivo Rovainen, Dee Schiller, Marc Schirmeister, Bill Schmickle, Jay Shell, Terrie Smith, Diana Vick, Taral Wayne, and Conrad Wong.[5]

Issue 4[edit]

Issue 4 was published in September, 1997. The contributing artists were Kjartan Arnorsson (Karno), Simon Barber, Mitchell Beiro (Mitch), David Bliss, Paul Brazil, The Brothers Grinn (Brian and Stuart Burke), David DuPerre, Malcolm Earle, Eyebadger, Will Faust, Ken Fletcher, Carl Gafford (Gaff), Craig Hilton, Rik Jardine, Kris Kreutzman, Oscar Marcus, J. P. Morgan, Amy Pronovost, Toivo Rovainen, Jay Shell, Marc Tucker, and Conrad Wong.[6]
