Athus Nadorian

Athus Nadorian (often simply referred as Athus), real name Brian Dyer (January 18, 1982 - October 11, 2011),[1] was a furry who lived in Phoenix, Arizona, U.S.A. His fursona was a hermaphrodite Western Seadragon.[2][3]

Athus had been mated to Narse since 2006.[4]

Furry activities[edit]

Athus was a traditional furry artist, and one of the four owners of the Bad Dragon sex-toy company. He was one of the lead toy designers and sculptors, and also helped to fill orders.[5]


Athus' hobbies included camping, hiking, exploring, and almost anything that had to do with nature. He also loved playing RPGs and Simulator games.[2]


On Tuesday, October 11, 2011, Athus was killed in a severe car collision in North Phoenix.[6] He was a passenger in a Hyundai Elantra being driven by a 27-year-old male driver.[7]

Phoenix Police Sgt. Tommy Thompson said the Hyundai, travelling eastbound on Deer Valley Road around 5:40 p.m., turned left at 22nd Street, failing to yield for a 2003 Chevrolet S10 pickup that was travelling westbound. The two vehicles collided.

Athus was transported to a local hospital, but died from his injuries. In response to his death, a memorial website ( was set up by his friends.
