Aozora is a webcomic that has been appearing on the web since 1998. Created by J. L. Brown, it was originally called Cheshire Cheshire and was a Geocities page that had grown popular within the furry art communities. It became so popular that the page crashed constantly due to bandwidth limitations. In 2000 the cast of Aozora began to appear in a comic by Kelvin the Lion called Macropod Madness. It updates every Thursday.
In 2003 Aozora found a home at Whyme Studios. After a conflict between the web publisher and the artist the comic moved to 2wconline.
