Rycon Bamaisin is a Southern Georgia Wood Fox(or simply red fox), a KZK fox in Second Life and a Wingless fox in InWorldz. Rycon's the owner of the Official Fur Valleys Twitter[2] which helps promote the Fur Valleys in Second Life, Rycon Industries[3] & FOUSE Radio[4] in InWorldz, the Card Collector Blog[5], and is a member of the gaming organization EPiC Nation[6] his brother-in-law created.

History=

Rycon as a fursona came about in 2007 when Mobius Infinity showed then gamer Logansryche a virtual world named Second Life and how you could do a variety of things there that you couldn't do in the real world. Rycon's first avatar was an Aventity Husky, before quickly changing to the non-mesh KZK fox(KZK hadn't existed before then) a few months later. Rycon and Mobius came to live in a set of regions known as The Fur_Valleys and quickly settled in to a region known as Kitsune Sea. During this time Rycon became fast and good friends with both Foxkin Impfondo and Autumnfox Vespira. After the price hike fiasco of 2009, Rycon left the valleys while Mobius moved to Zeta Valley.

The Death of a Fox

Two months later Rycon returned to the valleys and settled on a region known as Skunk Valley and had created a group known as the Kitsune Sea Association, whos goal was to raise Kitsune Sea no matter the cost as it was Rycon's first home and had sentimental value. It took a month, but Rycon was able to convince Foxkin to change the terrain of a full sim to that of Kitsune Sea, even though the name of the sim itself was not Kitsune Sea. By the end of 2009, issues were starting to form within. KSA's Head of Security Triptych Cyberstar wanted control of the group as she felt he was no longer fit to be the groups leader. When he refused, she turned members against themselves in an effort to destroy the group from within. In response, Rycon dropped everyone that was against him(including Triptych), reducing member counts from 100 to 7(Rycon, Shade Huntress, Armonde Coba, Ryallasha, Darrk Iceghost, Kitsune Davi, Kurin Pawpad, and King Tearfall) and moving back to a 1/2 sim. Tryptich wasn't done yet as she used her network of alts and people she knew to file more then 100 false reports against Rycon, forcing Linden Labs to seize the account, forcefully ending The Kitsune Sea Assoication and anything else associated with that account.

In 2010 Rycon took a hiatus from Second Life. He moved in with his partner Sage and married her in 2012. He began experimenting with something called OpenSim(which allowed him to run his own sim off his computer to create his own little world), but it wasn't the same as there were no furs. Rycon returned to Second Life by the end of 2010, using his friend Jon's account. Rycon returned as Laufiair Hexicola with the display name of Rycon Bamaisin and has existed as Laufiair Hexicola in Second Life to this day. As Laufiair Hexicola, Rycon was able to do more then as his formal self. He created Team Fox Star(a RFL relay team) & FOUSE Radio with Sage, and dabbled in breedable animals as a seller and auctioneer. The Rycom Bamaisin account is still on Rycon's friends account as a reminder of what use to be.

The RFL of SL Fiasco

In 2013, Sage and Rycon created Team Fox Star, as a means of raising linden for cancer research for the American Cancer Society. This was also done to show that furs do care about such things as cancer and aren't selfish. The chairperson was Dewen Dewey, and he became fond of Rycon for standing up for what he believed in. Rycon and Sage did not participate in RFL for 2014 as Sage's cancer had a flareup, but was under control by the time RFL ended. Rycon and Sage returned for the 2015 year to find Dwen had stepped down as chairperson as cancer had returned to his family and promoted Random Padar as chairperson. 2015 had several issues from kiosks not being sent out on time, to kiosks themselves having issues. This forced several bigger teams like Amaretto to not relay. By the end of the relay season, it was revealed Random has a dislike for any group that doesn't measure up to her standards(this includes furs and goreans). For 2016, Random put out a statement that anyone not acting how she wants them to act, will be barred from relaying. This caused several gorean teams to not participate. Amaretto again did not participate for 2016, and neither did several other breedable companys. 2016 also marked the end of Team Fox Star as Sage and Rycon decided to instead join their friends Oldesoul Eldenmar's team to make the statement that furs are not ones to mess with. This prompted Olde to contact several furs who'd never heard of RFL and get them to rally with them, to cary on Rycon's message of standing up for your beliefs.

InWorldz

In late 2015, Oldesoul mentioned that when RFL wasn't relaying in Second Life, they were relaying on a grid similar to Second Life called InWorldz. After Team Fox Star ended in 2016, Rycon moved to InWorldz with his RL partner and their friend. Once there, Rycon created the Bamaisin Family Furs which consist of himself, his partner Takari, and their daughters Sage and Raya, and is the current owners of Rycon Industries(a nod to Ryan Industries from Bioshock and front for creating an active furry/neko community). This also marked a physical presence for FOUSE Radio since it was created in 2010, prompting FOUSE to become the official relaying station for RFL of IW. Rycon and Sage are currently DJ & Hostess of Xanadu Plaza's Kicking Country.

Rycon Industries

Rycon Industries is a business in the virtual world InWorldz owned by the Bamaisin Family, and is permanently located in Xanadu Plaza. Rycon Industries is an umbrella company for Fantasy Photo, Comix Zone, Gashapon IW!, FOUSE Radio, the Rycon Industries Gallery, The Rycon Industries Outreach Center, and Sage/Ray's Shop.

Personal life

Rycon grew up in Southern California and moved to Key Largo when he was 17, moved back to California when he was 18 to graduate high school, then moved back to Florida when he was 19, this time settling in Titusville. When he was 21 he spent some time as a snowbird traveling to a property in Garland, ME his parents had given him and to Sioux City, IA where eventually settled(his aunt lived in Sergeant Bluff). After an on the job injury forced him out of work in 2008, Rycon put more emphesis on his furryness and joined Second Life. He came out to his parents that same year that he was a fur an explained to them what being a fur meant. Rycon's dad said cool, just don't be gay. Rycon's real world background includes construction, maintenance, management training, database processing, computer repair, electronics dissembly(where he lost his sense of smell), drawing, image editing, flash production, website creation/webmastering, forum moderation/adminship, and server maintenance plus a bunch of in-world experience including scripting, image editing, estate ownership/adminship, and business ownership. Rycon currently lives in New York with his wife Sage, father-in-law, and brother-in-law(who owns and runs EPiC Gaming in which Rycon webmasters).
