Murr (Murring) though comonly misconstrued as being for all animals, is a canine version of a cats purr. It is the growling, half moan that canines make when being scratched or played with. Often at times it is used in role play as a sound of sexual pleasure, but the murr can be derived from any sense of pleasure. From scritches to gentle stomache rubbings, murring might insue.
