<big>The Rakir is a species of its own accord, it has no genetic or cultural relations to any other. It is a mostly fur-covered creauture with the only exception being its lower portions of the wings, which is for the most part a type of webbing.

You'll find the most significant difference of the creature to the be the circular spiral of fur just around its higher back/shoulders, this is what's known anatomically as its orbit. The orbit is a thin spiral of fur that may move, stand, or sway according to certain emotions or feelings, generally it lays flat when relaxed/unexcited or sad/embarrassed and it will extened to a stand of some sort when happy/joyful or scared/frightened.

Its snout resembles a close, almost indistinguishable relation to the snout of a sergal, and are known to have a great sense of smell. the ears are large and quite furry, simply put, and usually end in tufts. The rakir usually take great pride in the massive amount of hair that falls to or past their shoulders, and take great measures to take extensive care of it.

The tail...a rakir's tail is long, most times about 3/4 the entire body length of the creature, and though it begins thick at the base, is thin and tuft-tipped at the base. The tail is under complete control of the carrier, its many nerves make for manueverability and sensitivity as well.

The species themselves have done very well to create the worst possible reputation for themselves, there is only a slight fraction of rakir that aren't as ignorant as psysically possible. All rules, no matter how illogical, are followed and enforced by a king who is elected only by the means of inheritance, the first king having won his ranks in a bet in a card game. They have no religion, but treat their king as a deity, offerings and all he wants are delivered by female servents on his demand. At the time the king decides he doesn't want to be king, or is bribed, or dies, etc, the first-born son will take place.

Specifically there is one signigficant rakir who plays a large role in opening the minds of his kind, he goes by Rakky, a name he chose to take after refusing his birthname. The story of Rakky and his struggle is on paper, written by the creator of the species in its entirety, and is known as "The Rakir and the Human". (Copyright also belongs to Zack). You could sit here and read about it all you want, but why not just have a copy of the book for yourself? @ZackTheRakir on twitter, bigzackw@gmail.com, find the rakir and ask him for a free copy. But here's a basic description of the book.

--Rakky is born albino, and immediately he suffers the worst, even though he was born into royalty, being the king or taking the throne wasnt an option for him. Instead, his brother takes the throne, second born, and exiles Rakky just for his color. Rakky didn't mind leaving, and left with one thing, his pride. His kind had left a reputation for him, and he took every bit of the heat. Everyone hated him for being what he was, a rakir, all but one, Sonya the human took him under her wing, so to speak, and eventually Rakky gets every bit of revenge and every bit of freedom he ever wanted. He met a great deal of friends along the way, odd creatures of all species, all of whom helped him take what was rightfully his.--
This story has been turned into a book entitled "The Rakir and the Human", it was written by Zack Williams, the very same creator of the species itself. The idea of the rakir came from Zack listening to the radio one day and finally deducting that humanity had officially grown to be too ignorant to be forgiven. You can ask the author as many questions as you please, he provides you with his email bigzackw@gmail.com. He WILL give you a free copy of the novel/story/book (what he has of it so far) if you ask for it, so long as the reader understands that the rakir and the story are both creations of Zack Williams.
They have no religion, but treat their king as a deity, offerings and all he wants are delivered by female servents on his demand. At the time the king decides he doesn't want to be king (or dies) the first-born son will take place, however, the current ruler had only one son, this is the only instance of rakir that doesn't believe in "ignorance is bliss". his name is Kaz, he was born an albino, it were as though he were cursed with no color, he would never have children even if he wanted to, no one would so much as look in his direction. He refuses to live in the hellicious place the rakir had created, and he moves to the city (more like runs away) to find that no matter where he went, if he weren't hated for his lack of color, he was hated for being a rakir. This story has been turned into a book entitled "The Rakir and the Human", it was written by Zack Williams, the very same creator of the species itself. The idea of the rakir came from Zack listening to the radio one day and finally deducting that humanity had officially grown to be too ignorant to be forgiven.
The Rakir is a species of its own accord, it has no relations to any other. It is a mostly fur-covered creauture with the only exception being its lower portions of the wings, which oddly resembles the webbing of a dragon's. You'll find the most significant difference of the creature to the be the circular spiral of fur just around its higher back/shoulders, this is what's known anatomically as its orbit. The orbit is a thin spiral of fur that may move according to certain emotions or feeling, more generally it lays flat when relaxed/unexcited or sad/embarrassed and it will extened when happy/joyful or scared/frightened. It's snout resembles a close, almost indistinguishable relation to the snout of a sergal, but the eyes of the rakir are a bit more thin, and the ears may be furrier on most occassions. The tail, a rakir's tail is long, most times about 3/4 the entire body length of the creature, and though it begins thick at the base, is thin and tuft-tipped at the base. The tail is under complete control of the carrier, it's many nerves make for manueverability and sensitivity as well.
The species are a very, unmatchably ignorant species...all but one, who we will cover later. All rules, no matter how illogical, are followed and enforced by a king who is elected only by the means of inheritance, the first king having won his ranks in a bet in a card game. They have no religion, but treat their king as a deity, offerings and all he wants are delivered by female servents on his demand.
