Wrincewind J Anonymous (more commonly called just Wrince) is a British rat, known for his wandering. The most common place to find him is the forums of the webcomic http://www.plushandblood.com.

The Online World
His fursona's name was taken [rather blatantly, he admits himself] from Terry Pratchett's Discworld series of novels, several years ago. From there, the name simply stuck, mostly due to a lack of imagination.

He became a rat for several reasons: he had always been interested in rodents, having owned several as pets in the past. In his first ever roleplay, he took the character of a emisarry from an underground city of rats, and as such had a rat-warrior avatar.

Finding science more interesting than swords, he changed from brown to albino and donned a labcoat. From there, his fursona has firmed into the time-travel regulating, many cloned, syrum-inventing mad doctor he is today.

Inventions
First and foremost, he invented a manner of generating portals or wormholes to and from wherever he wished.

Contained here is an intercepted message about the methods of generating said portals: http://plushandblood.informe.com/viewtopic.php?p=70468#70468

Aside from the many and varied applications brought from such portals, he has shown great promise in many scientific fields, especially retroviruses, then programable nanites, suspended in liquid to create a Syrum [intentionally spelled wrong]. These injections have a variety of built in effects, though some have to be progammed for one specific subject. most commonly, they will change the subject on a cellular and macroscopic level; a good example would be a species or gender change. This requires a lot of energy, some of which is supplied in the fluid, some of which is taken from the host, but the majority is supplied from a small, temporary portal attached to a power supply. Once the transformation is complete, the nanites and the portal deactivate, their components sent to the digestive system to be passed out painlessly and non-intrusively.

These transformations are always painless and relatively fast, taking a matter of minutes for the subject's hair to fall out and be replaced and their body to reconfigure itself utterly. The changes are reversiable only with another 'undo' injection of nanites: An antidote of sorts which checks with the nanites report of changes made and compares to the unchanged tissue in certain parts of the subject.

His laboratory is accessiable only by portal, and is of uncalculatable size.

Despite all his many inventions, he is far from immortal: He gets around his somewhat embarassing vunerabilities by a complicated system of clones, all of which are hooked up to one another, constantly sharing information.

Plush and Blood: The Unstuffed is a Plushie Webcomic set in a fictional universe inhabited entirely by stuffed animals, roughly 10 years in the future. The first comic was posted on the 20th of October 2006 by Corey 'TiredOrangeCat' Messer, and is ongoing on a bi-weekly schedule [Tuesdays and fridays]. the plot, storyline and script have all been laid out and the comic has a fixed ending, after which Tired Orange Cat says there will be two more 'Plush and Blood presents' stories of a similar length.
there have so far been two published graphic novels for the series, each containing 100 pages of the comic and 'bonus content'.

the plot of the comic is both intricate and on-going; however, the backstory to the comic is located at http://www.plushandblood.com/Story.php.
these transformations are always painless and relatively fast, taking a matter of minutes for the subject's hair to fall out and be replaced and their body to reconfigure itself utterly. the changes are reversiable only with another 'undo' injection of nanites: an antidote of sorts which checks with the nanites report of changes made and compares to the unchanged tissue in certain parts of the subject.

his laboratory is accessiable only by portal, and is of uncalculatable size.

despite all his many inventions, he is far from immortal: he gets around his somewhat embarassing vunerabilities by a complicated system of clones, all of which are hooked up to one another, constantly sharing information.
I have been thinking about all this for quite a while, and the only sticking point seems to be the exotic matter. since it is, well, exotic, It is notoriously hard to find. i am hopeful, though, about my attempts to create exotic matter, slow though they may be.
the following is my hypothesis, and a few ideas for applications and implementation of such 'Einsteinian - Scale Wormholes' or ESW's.

On wormholes and their theoretical applications, by wrincewind (wizard - hopeful)
Hypothesis:
1) Consider that string theory is correct.
2) Therefore, all subatomic particles, in their most basic forms, are incredibly tiny wormholes.
3) Assume that it is possible to acquire at least two samples of gravity repellent exotic matter.
4) If one such quantum – scale wormhole were to be seeded with such exotic matter, then it would expand until it was suitably large enough to interact with what we think of as the ‘real world’ and effectively ‘link up’ to the nearest such wormhole in a similar state. If no such wormhole was available, then the large wormhole would either
A) link up to a quantum – scale wormhole
Or
B) collapse in on itself, back into the quantum scale.
5) However, since the universe is four – dimensional (including time) it is possible that he wormhole could link to another such wormhole in the near past or even to itself half an hour into the future!
6) If a wormhole was sustained, however, then another wormhole, created elsewhere, would automatically join onto this ‘home’ wormhole. It would join onto the wormhole as close to the present as possible, as this would require less energy expenditure than joining to a wormhole in the far past or future.
7) Therefore, if a device designed for ‘shooting’ exotic matter into a wormhole could be created [since these wormholes are, quite literally, everywhere, it is simply a matter of making sure the matter is concentrated in a tight ‘beam’ towards one specific wormhole] then one would have an effective escape from any situation, no matter how dire!
8) This does, however, assume that there is only one ‘home’ wormhole at any one time. If there was another wormhole, at a closer distance, then the created wormhole, may link up with this one, instead of your desired location. These wormholes, therefore, are not particularly suited to mass private use. After all, imagine if you accidentally ended up in your next door neighbour’s living room at three in the morning!
9) I propose that, instead of a private system, either a ‘privilege’ system is implemented [that is to say, only a small number of persons in the world are allowed access to it – while this may work, it could end up with disgruntlement in the ‘unprivileged’ population]. The other possibility is a ‘public transport’ system: several permanent wormholes are linked up to each other across the planet: e.g., Perth to London, Hong Kong to New York, New York to London, etcetera - with each wormhole permanently linked to a single set other wormhole.
10) However, the harvesting/manufacture of exotic matter is quite expensive, so this could be somewhat of a problem. Luckily, the manufacture process can be made ‘ecologically friendly’ by the use of alternate power sources. If one wormhole was made near the sun or a star, then the heat radiated could be used to power generators and turbines, producing massive amounts of energy which could be linked up to the ‘national grid’ to alleviate the pressures on power stations.
11) It is important to note that, except under exceptional circumstances, each wormhole can only link to another wormhole at any one time. As soon as one wormhole collapses, the other wormhole will either join on to another vacant wormhole or also collapse.
12) As well as transferring matter over distances, wormholes have a myriad other uses. For example, if enough energy was expended, then wormholes of differing sizes could be joined together. This may not sound like much of an achievement, but it actually has massive impacts on our society. If one were to join wormholes with a ratio of 1:10 [that is, one wormhole is ten times the size of the other] and then place a crate of food through, one would end up with ten times the food. If such a use was employed in developing countries, then it would be possible to eliminate world hunger! Also, passing though items such as gold or other rare metals would be another possible application. [great care must be taken about this, as such abundances could cause problems in the marketable price of such minerals]
thank you for your time,
If one wormhole was made near the sun or a star, then the heat radiated could be used to power generators and turbines, producing massive amounts of energy which could be linked up to the ‘national grid’ to alleviate the pressures on power stations.
[great care must be taken about this, as such abundances could cause problems in the marketable price of such minerals]
wrincewind J Anonymous (more commonly called just Wrince) is a British rat, known for his wandering. the most common place to find him is the forums of the webcomic Plush and Blood

The Online World
His fursona's name was taken [rather blatantly, he admits himself] from Terry Pratchett's discworld series of novels, several years ago. from there, the name stuck.

he became a rat for several reasons: he had always been interested in rodents, having owned several as pets in the past. in his first ever roleplay, he took the character of a emisarry from an underground city of rats, and as such had a rat-warrior avatar.

finding science more interesting than swords, he changed from brown to albino and donned a labcoat. from there, his fursona has firmed into the time-travel regulating, many cloned, syrum-inventing mad doctor he is today.

Inventions
first and foremost, he invented a manner of generating portals or wormholes to and from wherever he wished.

contained here is an intercepted message about the methods of generating said portals:

WARNING. lots of information ahead.

Fandom itself, back into the quantum scale.
