Wolftacular: /* Music */

Axel, more commonly known as Wolftacular is a musician who is very much involved with the furry fandom. Even though he hasn't, as of now, confirmed whether or not he has a fursona, his friends like to draw him as a wolf with gray fur, red hair, and headphones; which, respectively, are references to his nickname, favorite color and logo. His main point of focus in art is music and film, though he will sometimes agree to draw for his friends in special occasions.

External links
Contributor
*Wolftacular at DeviantART
*Wolftacular at FurAffinity
*Wolftacular at Newgrounds
person-stub

Even though he hasn't, as of now, confirmed whether or not he has a fursona, his friends like to draw him as a wolf with gray fur, red hair, and headphones; which, respectively, are references to his nickname, favorite color and logo. His main point of focus in art is music and film, though he will sometimes agree to draw for his friends in special occasions.

Music
History
Late Beginnings
Even though he's always been a singer, he never thought of pursuing his music talent until the age of 14, when he quickly learned to play the guitar through self-teaching. Just a few days into his learning, he had already composed a few songs and shown an overwhelming interest in writing more. What motivated him the most was the fact that external peers gave him positive feedback on his compositions. At first, he kept most of his songs to himself, but then decided there was no harm in trying to spread them.

Newgrounds
Axel's first attempt to spread his music happened in the animation-centered website Newgrounds. He took advantage of the fact that the site accepts music submissions as well as animations, but didn't count for the fact that music is not the main focus on the site and, therefore, makes it even harder to gather attention.

"Martyr"
Despite the difficulty, Wolftacular gathered immense attention for a short period of time after releasing the song "Martyr", a simple piano piece which received a wave of listeners and incredibly positive reviews. The song quickly spread around Newgrounds, getting featured in various animations. As of August 2011, the song holds an incredible score of 4.41 out of 5 possible, and has been listened to over 10,600 times.

School and Interruptions
After the success of "Martyr", Wolftacular had to take a long break away from music to focus in school and sports. During this period of time, he continued to write songs in his head and, when he could, he would write them down on paper. Unfortunately, he lacked the time to record any of them. This lead to an enormous amount of lingering music projects, the majority of which he hasn't completed yet.

FurAffinity
Frustrated by the lack of feedback and followers in Newgrounds, Wolftacular decided to look for a better host for his music, and in the summer of 2011 created an account in furry website FurAffinity in the hopes of getting more feedback and followers. He's been posting his newest releases as well as some notable older ones.

External links
Contributor
*Wolftacular at DeviantART
*Wolftacular at FurAffinity
*Wolftacular at Newgrounds
person-stub
