Borneo Anthro Hub (BAH) is an annual Malaysian furry convention held in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah since 2026.

Overview
Established in 2025, Borneo Anthro Hub is held on the island of Borneo and was created to provide a gathering space for members of the furry community in East Malaysia and the wider Southeast Asian region.

Before its establishment, attendees often had to travel to other regions or neighboring countries just to participate in furry conventions, incurring additional costs and logistical challenges due to the need for air travel.

Thus, BAH was created not just to have another furcon in Malaysia, but a place where local furries can call home, providing an opportunity for those who have relocated elsewhere for work or other opportunities to return and reconnect with their roots.

Hosted in Sabah (often referred to as the "Land Below The Wind", it draws inspiration from the state's cultural heritage, biodiversity, and position [with amazing sceneries] on the Island of Borneo), the convention aims to celebrate the unique identity of the region while connecting attendees from Malaysia and beyond.

Unlike other worldwide furcons and furmeets, the event does not host guests of honor.

History
The inaugural Borneo Anthro Hub was held on 20 - 21 June 2026, in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia at the Horizon Hotel. Carrying the theme Adventure Below The Wind, the event celebrated one of Sabah's identities as the Land Below The Wind, inspired by the communal spirit associated with Kaamatan, the state's annual harvest festival, which emphasizes community, cultural heritage, and reunion.

The event had attendees from 13 countries.

Mascots
Borneo Anthro Hub's official mascots are Aminah, a Rhinoceros Hornbill, and Sean, a Bornean Ferret Badger.

Both species are native to Borneo and were selected to reflect the convention's regional identity.
