Just a bit of issue with that last anonymous update. Trips to the Space and Rocket Center were never official RCFM events, except maybe once that first year. Having "a large population of geeks" isn't exactly NPOV text. And "lacking the Southern feel" is completely subjective. I pretty much erased all of that particular update since none of it is really professional, NPOV text. --Brody

The first chapter begins with Huska getting thrown into an apparent prison cell. She has a cellmate, Richard, whom she is familiar with. He refuses to share his blankets at first, so she must try to sleep on a wooden bed.

When dinner comes around, Huska attempts to snatch Richard's bowl of gruel with little success, but manages to steal his bed and blanket. He tries to work his way into the blankets with her, but she fends him off with a kick. He pounces her and ties her up in a blanket. He tries to slip off her pants, but she requests he kiss her first. They share a kiss without incident, and then he offers to untie her if she promises to follow his orders. She agrees. He distracts her and gets back into his bed with his blanket.

She wants the blanket too, so he asks her to undress and get naked. She complies, getting nude and then crawling into the blanket with him. For a time she dreams, but soon she is awakened by him, naked and aroused. The two proceed to make love on the wooden bed, with romance apparently growing between the two.

* Did you notice that on page 8 of pre-production version of the comic, Richard mentions that Huska is tied up with the sheets, but that notion completely disappeared in the paper version? The key is one of the previous Richard's phrases that got changed as well. The original Russian phrase behind it could be ambiguously read in one of two ways: "I'll be fine with just ''a'' blanket", or "I'll be fine with just ''one'' blanket". The first interpretation suggests that Huska was tied with the sheets, and the second one would call for the second blanket -- in fact, the one the whole fight started over. This mistake was caught and corrected during editing.

Cubist, Have you ever even considered the the situation might be a result of the "breakdown of diplomacy"? If neither side is willing to lower their sabre, at least part way, things will only continue the way they have been.

Removing his name would not necessarily have to be permanent - whether it remains off the article would be dependant upon Mozdoc's future conduct.

It seems that in this day and age, the only thing being polite and respectful gets a person is ignored, told to f - off, or hit. And THAT is what I believe is going on with Mozdoc - society has kind of taught him the bad habit that unless you are confrontational and ready to resort to force, people will not listen to you.

If we are going to judge Mozdoc on what society as a whole has drummed into him, then we need also judge ourselves.

:No, that is not the meaning of the term. He appears to believe that you do not actually support the same goals as the wiki, but are trying to subvert them by pretending that you do. For example, if giving people fair treatment was one of the goals of the wiki you might express concerns that Mozdoc is not getting fair treatment, thereby hoping to elicit sympathy from those who would otherwise have a neutral or negative opinion. The method Cubist used to do it is SO childish, it makes me wonder if I should just put him/her over me knee and spank him/her. :))

Mozdoc needs to learn to control his temper - I can sympathize with that. I also know how most of society can literally drive people like Mozdoc to such actions.

By only using punishment against him, we only further reinforce his behavior. That's not to say we should just give in and remove it to stop threats - just the opposite. HOWEVER, If it is removed, and you and the others make it CLEARLY known that
1 - it CAN be added in again should the threats resume.
2 - that it is being done for fairness sake.

I believe it will have a greater positive impact not only on the conflict but upon Mozdoc himself.

:As far as I know, the only person who has brought up the concept of you being the same person as Mozdoc is you. The assertions made by Cubist relate to the pursuit of similar goals while professing neutrality, not similar identity.

:I am unsure how much any of us can help Mozdoc. I've talked to him on several occasions and made no long-term progress. The whole reason the page is here in the first place is that counseling hasn't worked to stop the harassment of others in the fandom. As I understand it, its purpose isn't to coerce the subject into good behaviour (because punishment doesn't work), but to ameliorate the effects of his bad behaviour on others. :There's basically two options for the forum - either create [[Happy Feet]] and make the forum a subsection of that, or create [[Happy Feet Fan Forum]]. The normal thing to do is the latter - have a separate article for the forum. I would suggest tightening the language in the history section a little, though. It should concentrate on the facts, not subjective statements like "grew quickly" (how quickly?). The talk page should mention and link to the prior article.

:We tend not to do really huge articles about commercial works because Wikipedia does it better than us. We are not created to compete with them in their field of expertise - we would rather readers and editors went there instead. Question: How come there is an article on [[centaur]]s but not one on [[mermaid]]s? Recently, I was going to write a article about mermaids and I saw the log about it being deleted because it's "not furry". I don't mean to insult anyone's intelligence here but, a centaur is "top half human, lower half horse" (you know what I mean) and a mermaid is "half woman half fish" I seriously don't see the problem...

:Honestly, the disk space is not so important as the time. It takes work to translate a page. If you have to upload all of the images in it as well, that is more work. I would like to avoid that work for most images. People still need to register to use the image pool (but we would like to make it be just one registration for all WikiFur in the near future). If there is any interface text that needs to be changed on the pool wiki to help Russian contributors, I would be glad to do so. Images can still be uploaded locally by going directly to Special:Upload.

Cubist, Have you ever even considered the the situation might be a result of the "breakdown of diplomacy"? If neither side is willing to lower their sabre, at least part way, things will only continue the way they have been.

Removing his name would not necessarily have to be permanent - whether it remains off the article would be dependant upon Mozdoc's future conduct.

It seems that in this day and age, the only thing being polite and respectful gets a person is ignored, told to f - off, or hit. Mozdoc needs to learn to control his temper - I can sympathize with that. I also know how most of society can literally drive people like Mozdoc to such actions.

By only using punishment against him, we only further reinforce his behavior. That's not to say we should just give in and remove it to stop threats - just the opposite. HOWEVER, If it is removed, and you and the others make it CLEARLY known that
1 - it CAN be added in again should the threats resume.
2 - that it is being done for fairness sake.

I believe it will have a greater positive impact not only on the conflict but upon Mozdoc himself.

:There's basically two options for the forum - either create [[Happy Feet]] and make the forum a subsection of that, or create [[Happy Feet Fan Forum]]. The normal thing to do is the latter - have a separate article for the forum. I would suggest tightening the language in the history section a little, though. It should concentrate on the facts, not subjective statements like "grew quickly" (how quickly?). The talk page should mention and link to the prior article.

:We tend not to do really huge articles about commercial works because Wikipedia does it better than us. We are not created to compete with them in their field of expertise - we would rather readers and editors went there instead. Therefore, what I would recommend is to make an article with an overview of the movie, but which concentrates ''specifically'' on the usage of Happy Feet within the furry fandom (which Wikipedia is not likely to cover), and then point people to [[Wikipedia:Happy Feet|Wikipedia's article]] in the "See also" section. Recently, I was going to write a article about mermaids and I saw the log about it being deleted because it's "not furry". :Honestly, the disk space is not so important as the time. It takes work to translate a page. If you have to upload all of the images in it as well, that is more work. I would like to avoid that work for most images. People still need to register to use the image pool (but we would like to make it be just one registration for all WikiFur in the near future). If there is any interface text that needs to be changed on the pool wiki to help Russian contributors, I would be glad to do so. Images can still be uploaded locally by going directly to Special:Upload.

[[Simba (The Lion King)|Simba]]'s daughter, [[Kiara]], is born and will be the next monarch of the pridelands.

As a young child, Kiara goes off exploring the Pridelands, and decides to look in the Outlands, the place in which [[Scar]] and the hyenas once dwelled. She meets [[Kovu]], a dark lion who will be Scar's heir. The two form a friendship almost immediately, but are both caught by their feuding parents, [[Zira]] and Simba. They are then separated until adulthood.

By then, Kovu has been brainwashed to be an assassin to take out Simba so that the [[Outlander]]s can reign once more. A part of the plan to murder Simba involves getting hsi trust, so [[Vitani]] and [[Nuka]], Kovu's siblings, set the Pridelands ablaze while Kiara is hunting. Kovu must then go on a staged rescue to gain trust from Kiara and Simba. In the process, Kiara and Kovu recognise and remember each other, but Kovu is still intent on murder. Simba is not at all swayed by Kiara's rescue, but he allows Kovu to at least follow him home.

The next morning, Simba goes down to the water hole for a drink, alone, but Kovu is watching him and gettin in the ready position. However, Kiara is very much awake, and informs Kovu that he promised to teach her hunting last night. Grudgingly, Kovu goes with her to practice. While demonstrating on how to be sneaky, he stumbles upon [[Timon (character)|Timon]] and [[Pumbaa]], and the two being carefree, playful clowns, he gets caught up in a game and realises that he cares about Kiara and can't kill Simba.

Simba eventually warms up to Kovu, and while taking a private walk with him in the devastated grassland which the Outlanders burnt, the two are ambushed. Simba assumes that it was organised by Kovu, who is later banished. During the fight, Nuka is killed and Kovu is ostracized from his own pride.

Shortly afterwards, a war breaks out between the two prides. Kovu wants to run away, and Kiara states that they have to go convince their prides to at least have peace. They manage to stop the fighting, but Zira still wants Simba, as well as those who oppose her, dead. She accidentally falls off the cliff on which they are figting and drowns in the river below.

The '''Bowman's Wolf''' is a species of [[Wikipedia:Transgenic|transgenetically]] engineered [[Wikipedia:Red_wolf|Red Wolf]] (''Canis rufus''), whose genes were sequenced by '''EcoSystems Unlimited''' as a proof-of-concept test to judge the feasability of producing a series of fully sentient beings of creatures native to a planet named '''Pfouts'''. Pfouts' life uses right handed amino acids, making the planet incompatible with Earth life forms. Artificially [[Wikipedia:Biological_uplift|uplifted]] Pfoutsian creatures would share Earth's culture(lacking one of their own), as well as being able to take advantage of their world's resources (and potentially trade) with which would otherwise not be accessible as full-scale terraforming is prohibitively expensive.

Under the direction of Dr. Bowman, 14 "Generation Zero" prototype wolves came to full term (3 males, 11 females.) After project "Pfouts" was canceled, ''"a series of clerical errors resulted in the inadvertent release of the Bowman's Wolf to the general public,"'' resulting in all pups being placed in the care of compatible human families before EcoSystems Unlimited could begin their specimen sterilization and disposal program.

Dr. Bowman and his now-adult wolves are currently engaged in a social, ethical, and legal battle with EcoSystems Unlimited; the goal is to appeal to the company's greed while also proving the inherent technological viability of restarting the "Bowman's Wolf" project.

== Miscellaneous notes ==

From a business perspective, "Bowman's Wolves" have demonstrated themselves to be a perfect "proof of concept" experiment, in that they are totally dependable, highly adaptable to social interaction, and have enough "Human Safe" fail safes built into them to give most critics pause. Since their diet and biology are quite similar to that of dogs, medical and food infrastructure (which for a more divergent species would be sorely lacking at best) are already in place on most worlds, so their cost-of-maintenance is quite manageable. (Besides, veterinarians often cost less than human doctors.)

The work and help they could provide in their expected life span of 160 years could cover (in theory) any economic risk inherent in owning one. The only caveat is that, for all purposes, they are still considered "free thinking/free will" property, much like sentient robots, with the additional distinction that all their derivative products (e.g., "pups") remaining the private property of EcoSystems Unlimited.

==Discovery of the fandom==
Crusader Cat first heard of furry fandom when he was 17, through yiff art. This caused him to become fiercely anti-furry for a couple of years, but after later discovering and contacting Christians furies he became tolerant of the fandom. Later he decided to become a furry to help overcome his yiff problem in March 2008 and attended the Anthrocon in that year, he is currently having a fursuit made by Lacy.
==His fundamentalism==
Being a very zealous Independent Baptist, Crusader Cat will only read the King James Version of the Bible. Unlike most Christians, he despises C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia and opposes Christian Rock. He makes anthropomorphic cartoons, tracts, and Science Fiction stories with Biblical themes. ==Relationship with other Christian Furries==
Due to a mild case of Aspergers Syndrome, Crusader Cat has trouble forging new relationships and maintaining existing ones. He was denied membership as St. Freds for his views on Christian Rock (but is still allowed in the chat room and forums) and was temporarily banned from Furrs Fur Christ for posting angry comments related to Narnia and was considered a security threat. He has since been brought back to Furrs Fur Christ after meeting some of the administrators at the Anthrocon. He finds it extremely difficult to have a conversation with anyone and has trouble being outgoing in social occasions. He usually stays away from others and keeps quiet.

==Sexuality==
Although he has changed his views on furry fandom, Crusader Cat is still hostilely opposed to yiff. Before he discovered the fandom, he has struggled with foot fetish and bestiality. When he discovered furotica, his foot fetish evolved into a paw fetish. Crusader considers all furotica a form of bestiality pornography and is uses his own testomony to actively encourage others to abstain from yiff.
