For April 1, 2012, the website's main page has upside-down announcement that reads "U-18Chan is now hosted in northern Australia. Edit: We have had some reports of the site appearing upside down for some users. This is most likely due to upside down packets coming from ISPs running outdated firmware. == Is Paws.ru shut down? ==

Is something wrong with the site? I try to post and it says invalid Url.

I try to click on the link in google search and it says "temporary unavailable".

Did they shut it down? I hope not!

: Paws.ru lost all of its content because of some staff incompetence. Now it is restarted. 82.199.102.55 15:47, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Somthing happend to paws.ru recently that now i cant get in with mozilafirefox but works ok with explorer is there a way to get in touch with the paws.ru staff?

Paws.ru has some kind of DNP list now
They have a DNP list now

1. Heathen City: Alex Vance asked them to delete it

2. anything by Omega Ltd. (like Dragon Heat): the creators will complain if it's on there

3. Incontinental Student Bodies: the admin doesn't like it

also: the admin tends to delete posts involving Artdecade, Mark Wulfgar, or japanese Doujin.

After editing HardBlush.com entry, realised this page was out of date. Onta is no longer a mod on Pawsru. No idea if DNP still stands though, might email site owner. Virtualfox - <small>talk</small> 18:02, 19 May 2013 (EDT)

HardBlush is a subscription-based gay male adult furry site, featuring art and comics by various artists. HardBlush updates four times per week. Featuring a variety of artists and styles, there is a little bit of everything for anyone looking for this sort of material.

Onta, wanting to keep paid material off of imageboards and piracy sites, previously teamed up with Pawsru and YaoiHaven, allowing them to post certain approved images as to increase incentive to sign up for the site, and keep his bottom line intact.fact

Virtualfoxdn: Grammar

Unigan Caravan is a crowdsourced adults only, gay themed comic produced by HardBlush founder and artist Onta under the BlushComics label.

Unigan Caravan is a 70+ page collection of illustrated lore and stories about the Unigan, a fantasy race of winged, dragon-like creatures created by Onta, with an affinity for getting into all manner of antics (mostly sexual), as drawn in comic or pin-up format by various known furry artists.

The main repeating character throughout the book is Devin, Onta's own Unigan character.

History
In September 2012, Onta launched a project on OffBeatr,

HardBlush is a subscription-based gay male adult furry site, featuring art and comics by various artists. HardBlush updates four times per week. Featuring a variety of artists and styles, there is a little bit of everything for anyone looking for this sort of material. The site is user friendly, with the ability to comment on the images, leave feedback and had an RP forum for those that are inclined. Onta, wanting to keep paid material off of imageboards and piracy sites, previously teamed up with Pawsru and YaoiHaven, allowing them to post certain approved images as to increase incentive to sign up for the site, and keep his bottom line intact.fact Since 2012 Onta is no longer a moderator on Pawsru and HardBlush is now kept off YaoiHaven through DMCA takedowns rather than site owner agreement.

Unigan Caravan
In September 2012 Onta launched a project on Offbeatr, the fetish crowd sourcing website, for a compilation book of his fantasy species Unigans. The book featured comics by Onta, Peritian, Powfooo, Slyus, Gnaw, Tokifuji and Chinpo along with pinups by Po-ju and Kitora. Rewards for support ranged from a digital/physical copy to the supporter's pinup being included in the book. The project quickly achieved and surpassed its $5,000 funding goal reaching a total of $8,227 at the project's end in October 2012. The project was successfully printed and distributed in physical and digital form.

HardBlush Boystown
Given the success of the last project, in March 2013 Onta launched HardBlush Boystown on Offbeatr. The book was a compilation of college themed HardBlush comics from Toki, Powfooo, Slyus, Peritian and Onta along with a new comic by Peritan and additional illustrations. It reached more than double its $9,000 goal with a total of $23,322 at the project's end in May 2013. The project has yet to be printed.

Due to the limitations of Kusaba X, U-18Chan was forced to switch over to the more efficient ImageBoard4Free software, which was provided to U-18Chan by Infinitus of ib4f.com. U-18Chan successfully switched to ImageBoard4Free during summer 2011 and has cleaned up a majority of the bugs created during the switch.

April Fools
For April 1, 2012, the website's mainpage has upside-down announcement that reads "U-18Chan is now hosted in northern Australia. Edit: We have had some reports of the site appearing upside down for some users. This is most likely due to upside down packets coming from ISPs running outdated firmware. Please contact them and ask about Australian compatibility if you are experiencing this issue." The site was not actually moved to Australia, but the news post has remained on the front page with the April 1st time stamp and upside down text.

Virtualfoxdn: Sections of this article are now out of date but how should they be replaced?

The un-cited sentence at the end of the first paragraph is now outdated. Previously Onta had an agreement with Yaoi Haven where old material could be posted and he was also a moderator on Pawsru which allowed him to remove material too recently released to paying customers. Since Yaoi Haven was reborn it seems the agreement has been dropped based off this DMCA made against them while Onta has been removed as a moderator of Pawsru. Considering both sites who had the agreement have since ended it the sentence is quite simply untrue. While I would remove it, what if anything should replace it? HardBlush now outsources copyright takedowns to Piracy Pitbull so this could be mentioned, but as many would consider me biased I am sure somebody else would be better off editing the article.

Spam Attacks
Owing to the attitude of many image board users towards furry and the links U-18chan has with other chans, U-18chan comes under regular spam attacks from bots along with manual posters. A majority of attacks are blocked by a simple post filter updated by administrators to block specific comments used by bots in attacks. Also, because U-18chan has moderators in multiple time-zones, manual spamming can be removed quickly so that users are very rarely interrupted by spam traffic. As the ImageBoard4Free software takes up very little server resources the threat of spam attacks on the site's up time is greatly reduced.

Jeremy Bernal

2011-10-27T17:16:43Z

Virtualfoxdn: Added external link to tie in to Heading: Controversy

cleanup
Jeremy Bernal (previously known as Cullen) is a furry artist whose specialty is furotica. His art style tends to the realistic, with highly detailed fur texture and shading, appropriate shading for his character's musculatures, well-detailed and expressive faces, and other such fine attention to detail.

He is the founder and administrator of the paysite furry gallery SexyFur; before that, he was best known for a set of Photoshop tutorials on his FurNation site (no longer available.) His signature characters are the female furry characters Sasha, Gunbunny, and Champagne.

Controversy
In July 2006, Jeremy Bernal filed two DMCAs against former image-board, WTFur, for reposting non-distributable media (especially artwork from SexyFur) on their boards. His work is currently the only work banned from the site, now known as Lulz.net, as they have otherwise rejected the concept of a Do Not Post list. In addition, several other imageboards that have furry subboards or are centered around furry content have adopted a rule (in many cases unwritten) wherein the posting of art by Bernal, even art he makes freely available, is a bannable offense. Because of these actions, Bernal is often mocked for using the DMCA and/or being overly litigious.
