Given these facts, it was a bit difficult not to sympathize with Reginald rather than the two "good guys".

The comics are noted for an atypical focus on romantic adventure orientation for fantasy with a tone closer to ''The Princess Bride'' than other works.

Set on a slightly futuristic Earth, the story focuses on Arthur Fang, the son of anthropomorphic [[canine]] immigrants from the planet Anubia, and his efforts to hold onto a respectable white collar job despite the prejudice and cruelty of his human co-workers.
Forced to undertake a business trip to his home world, Arthur is horrified by the "primitive" customs of the Anubians, and fears above all else "going native."

There's a striking contrast between the form and content of this graphic novel: Kazaleh's elegant, economical brushwork, often at the service of "zany" cartoon imagery, is here employed in a powerful allegory about racism and the internalized self loathing that can take hold in its victims.

== Fandom involvement ==

Crusader Cat was introduced to the [[furry fandom]] when he was seventeen and discovering [[furry pornography]] for the first time. As a result, he became fiercely [[anti-furry]], believing it was some [[bestiality]] cult.{{cn}} At the age of twenty, after discovering and contacting other [[Christian furries]], he learned of the diversity of the fandom. He later concluded that being a furry didn't contradict his Christian beliefs.

On March 20, 2008, he decided that becoming a [[furry]] could help him deal with some of his issues regarding [[sex]]uality, while at the same time providing an opportunity to promote his beliefs. == Fandom involvement ==
Crusader Cat was introduced to the [[furry fandom]] when he was seventeen, after discovering [[furry pornography]]. As a result, he became fiercely [[anti-furry]], believing it was some sort of [[bestiality]] cult.{{cn}} At the age of twenty, after discovering and contacting other [[Christian furries]], he learned of the diversity of the fandom and later concluded that being a furry didn't contradict his Christian beliefs.

On March 20, 2008, he decided that becoming a furry could help him deal with some of his issues regarding [[sex]]uality, while at the same time providing an opportunity to promote his beliefs.
