2 Sense 2.0 started on November 12th, 2006. For this incarnation of the show, the co-host was Nik Vulper, with back-up co-hosts being Jibba Foxcoon and Gar. Currently, Jibba acts as the perminate co-host. Returning to do segments for the show were Spazfox, Garr and Uncle Kage. Introduced in 2007 were segment hosts Sadesuke the Wanderer, Gary Walker, Edsel, and Dari the Emobird. Aiding 2 and his co-hosts is the 2 Sense Research Team, which consists of 10 members of the FAOD: Tyrel_Roo, Sergent Sai, Cassandra Rising, TakaiX, Don Helder Camara, Zyph, Ion Seal, Ark, Sidepocket, and Armonkyi.

The basic make-up of the show is this: For the first part of the show, 2 and his co-host discuss between 3 and 5 news articles that have recieved little or no press coverage, though some are featured briefly on CNN and FOX, which touch on a wide variety of issues ranging from global politics to ferivolous lawsuits. This is followed by a reading of humorous deaths and after a Segment break, the two return to read letters and answer listeners' questions.

Each 2 Sense episode is about an hour and 30 minutes long, give or take a few minutes. Depending on 2's mood, the show will occationally longer. Because of 2's touring schedule, there are periods of time when the show must be put on hiatus, but the time between shows rarely goes passed four weeks, barring a great disaster. A cover piece is drawn for each aired episode by Agent Elrond and is used as a link to the audio file on the various archieve sites.

The current season of 2 Sense 2.0 has the booming voice of God as the segment introducer, replacing the fast-talking unnamed voice of the past that many fans complained sounded too much like Foamy the Squirrel. Another edition to the show is The Wheel of Hate, a giant Wheel of Fortune like device that picks a random group of people for 2 and his co-host to hate for that entire episode. The wheel was installed after a friend of 2's mentioned how hard it was sometimes to listen to the show because they would harp on one group for weeks on end. The Wheel of Hate is an attempt to balance out the hate.

Fun Facts
*To date, there have only been two "live" shows, or shows that were recorded outside of Gryphon Studios. These shows were recorded at Anthrocon 2007 and Furry Connection North 2008. Jibba Foxcoon was the co-host for the Anthrocon show and the segment hosts remained on stage to help answer letters. Garr was the co-host for the Furry Connection North show and he and Eddy Schaloski helped answer letters.

*On November 4th, 2008, 2 and Jibba hosted a Video-Broadcast of 2 Sense. Since neither wanted to miss the election results, it was desided that the show would be broadcast "live" over the internet as they watched the news. Plans are in effect to have the show put on DVD and sold to help support improvements to the show for next season.

*The show for April 1st, 2007 was hosted by 2 and Nik's cousins, 7 and Nigel. 7 and Nigel appear to be the complete opposite of 2 and Nik; both are straight and come from extremely wealthy families and understand very little about how the world outside their estates work. They had so much fun with the show, that they "invented" a curse word and 7 even submitted a segment for the last few episodes of 2007. 7 appears to now have a small fan following of his own.

*1 the Mommy Gryphon was first mentioned on 2's DVD "Rolling a One", but was not given the title of "1 the Mommy Gryphon" until much later. In an early episode of 2 Sense, it is mentioned by 2 that a group of people have come over for a little party and that 2 and his co-host were recording the show not only for the audience but to entertain their guests. One of the guests, who approached the two and briefly spoke with them, interupting the flow of the show, was introduced then as "1 the Mommy Gryphon". She laughed at the introduction, said hello and returned to the party. As she walked away, 2 said "Man, she is going to flip when she realizes how many people actually LISTEN to this show."

*2 is a professional stand-up comedian and has dabbled in other profession through out his life, stating "An easier question would be 'What jobs haven't I worked'" when a letter requesting him to list his previous profession was read for a recent "Dear 2" Segment. Nik works IT for a business that has not been named and Jibba, once an FCC employee at the local airport, is now a dance instructor.

Segments
*Spazfox's DVD of the Week -- No longer submitting
**Furry comedian Spazfox reviews recently released, previously released and "released years ago but just recently found it hidding under my desk" movie DVDs. While Spazfox does discuss the plot of the film, his main goal for this was to highlight the special featurs, or lack thereof, for the various films. His favorite special feature on any DVD is Commentary, followed closely by a film being in wide-screen as opposed to fullscreen. Side characters who would occationally pop in to help include his Staging Manager and Steve the Dalek.

*Garr's Segment -- No longer submitting
**Smooth talking Garr would wax zen about the ancient philosophies, the furry fandom, his travels abroad, politics and what ever else moved his soul in this segment. His second to last submission, however, featured a rather on-edge, enraged Garr vent his pent up frustrations after having gone through the United States Immagration Services to obtain permission to move to the US and in his last segment, he explained his reason for moving to the State.

*Uncle Kage's News from the Future -- No longer submitting
**A parody segment in which fictional news is reported from roughly 50 years in the future, often referring to current events or things that 2, Spazfox, and Uncle Kage himself have recently mentioned in their own stand-up preformances.

*Nik's Hiaku Poetry Time -- No long submitting
**The reading of a quick hiaku written by Nik about something that had happened to him during the past week, often followed by an explaination or backstory as to why the hiaku was written.

*Edsel's Horoscopes -- No longer Submitting
**This isn't your typical horoscope reading, as Edsel has the natural ability to find all the hidden horrors the stars have in store for the 2 Sense listeners. He has the habit of tripping on Magic 8 Ball fluid and in his arsonal of new-age trinkets he has a crystal ball that plays 80s soft-rock and a haunted Ouiji board that summons Satan when annoyed. A recent dulling of his powers and a $900 bill from Ms. Cleo, has put Edsel's Horoscopes on hiatus, however.

*Over the Pond with Gary Walker -- No longer submitting
**The youngest segment host to-date, Gary Walker is a young boy in London, England who reads and makes fun of his local news. Baptised into the Furry Fandom as a duck, Gary has recently asked his listeners to submit questions for him to answer in his segments.

*Dari the Emobird's Segment -- No longer submitting
**What is it like to be emo? Well, just ask Dari the Emobird, it's in his blood to be emo and he's not afraid to show it off. Dari occationally answered letters from fans about his way of life but mostly he would tell about his life as an emobird.

*Counter-Point with Satosuke -- No longer submitting
**Satosuke takes a Libertarian view point on many hot-topics in the world of politics and often spends his segments pointing out the flaws in both right and left winged reasoning behind such subjects as abortion, gun control, drugs and gay marriage. While he and 2 do share similar views on some subject, the segment was originally aired because the two do disagree on several subjects and it was felt that a balance was needed. This, however, promted many listeners to believe Satosuke was right-winged, which he is not.

*Point T. Weasel's Segment -- Current
**Point T. Weasel, a memeber of the Pawpet Players, has been posting his own rants on news events on the web for some time. After opening for 2 at Anthrocon 2007, Point started sending copies of his latest complaints to 2 to be played on the show. These musings often have ground music and sound-effects playing in the background to help drive the point home to the listener.

*Current News with Eddy Schaloski -- No longer submitting
**Uncle Kage's co-worker from the News from the Future segment, mentioned a few tims in previous segments then allowed to do his own segment in the April Fools episode, pops in from time to time to report on the "follies and the foyables" the current political canidates are running into while campaigning.

*Holy Jesus! -- No longer submitting
**Pastor William Rebar, a good Christian American, appears to have hijacked Spazfox's timeslot in an attempt to present a more wholesome segement. He is, however, very backwards in many of his believes and easily flustered. This segment consists of two parts; the first being a sermon of sorts about unwholesome things he has seen in the news and the second part being the reading and answering of a letter about the Christian faith.

*Accidental Help-line -- Current
**Based on 2's "accidental toast" skit from his "The Truth" preformace, Jibba and 2 play the roles of a man in need of help after doing something accidentally and the opperator/help desk associate who answers the phone call.

*Edsel's Weekly Address -- No longer submitting
**Having recieved no help from Ms. Cleo to get his star-reading skills back, Edsel was inspired by the 4th of July to run for president of the USA and is now addressing the nation weekly on 2 Sense. His campaign slogan appears to be "America's Paws will be Making Rainbos in November 2008"

*Sagely Advice -- Current
**Stoic Wolf offers some very good advice for making live "just a little more interesting". This segment is a list of things Stoic Wolf appears to have learned over the years and, at times, do not alway have anything to do with each other.

*Weekly Faptisms/Baptisms -- Hiatus
**Listeners who wished to be inducted in the Furry fandom would send in their name, age and list of likes and dislikes from which 2 would determine their new Furry name and what animal they would be. Due to the large number of young adults wishing to enter the fandom, 2 and Nik adjusted how the baptisms were done and eventually created the "Box of Stuff", which contained random soundeffects used to blast, crush, burn, bit and fry a person into the fandom.

*Weekly Furry Birthdays -- No longer submitting
**A quick reading of listener birthdays and what they plan to do with their new year. A problem quickly presented itself with this, as the list would become so long during the breaks that 2 would have to skip the second part and just read off names and ages. This segement, 2 later mentioned, was also a bit unfair for those listeners who had birthday during the off season.

*Furry Fifteen Minutes -- Current
**For this segment, 2 and his co-host call up a listener to the show and ask him or her various questions about themselves. A recent letter from a non-furry listener, complaining how the "Furry Fifteen Minutes" was unfair to the non-furry listeners, prompted 2 to remind everyone that the title of the segment was not ment to exclude listeners from submitting interview requests. Though called the "Fifteen Minutes" segement, the interviews do not last that long.

Current Running Gags/References
*Schleigelhoffen
**Started in the first incarnation of the show, this was the word 2 would use to replace names of people, cities, and organizations he was having a hard time pronouncing. The word comes from one of the first episodes, from an article about a man with a Germanic last name neither 2 or the co-host could believe actually existed. The word quickly became a favorite on the show.
*Gears
**A reference to a news article released early 2007 from Africa about a device that had recently gotten approval for production.
*The Rants
**At times, 2 will drop in a line from one of his many rants, often prompting a "Huh?" response from his co-host. 2 has mentioned several times in past episodes that while his friends know of the rants they do not listen to them.
*Dragon's Milk
**A local Michigan beverage that is a favorite of Nik.
*Dragon Meat Sausage
**Originating from a news report of a Welsh company (named "Dragon") being sued for false advertising — as they sold "Dragon Meat Sausages." When said on the show it is usually said by both 2 and the co-host in a slow and patronising voice.

2 Sense 2.0

Valnatron:

2 Sense

These shows were recorded at Anthrocon 2007 and Furry Convention North 2008. Jibba Foxcoon was the co-host for the Anthrocon show and the segment hosts remained on stage to help answer letters. Garr was the co-host for the Furry Convention North show and he and Eddy Schaloski helped answer letters.

*Garr's Segment -- Hiatus

*Over the Pond with Gary Walker -- Hiatus
**The youngest segment host to-date, Gary Walker is a young boy in London, England who reads and makes fun of his local news. Baptised into the Furry Fandom as a duck, Gary has recently asked his listeners to submit questions for him to answer in his segments.

*Dari the Emobird's Segment -- No longer submitting
**What is it like to be emo? Well, just ask Dari the Emobird, it's in his blood to be emo and he's not afraid to show it off. Dari occationally answered letters from fans about his way of life but mostly he would tell about his life as an emobird.

*Counter-Point with Satosuke -- Current

*Current News with Eddy Schaloski -- Hiatus
**Uncle Kage's co-worker from the News from the Future segment, mentioned a few tims in previous segments then allowed to do his own segment in the April Fools episode, pops in from time to time to report on the "follies and the foyables" the current political canidates are running into while campaigning.

*Holy Jesus! -- Current

*Edsel's Weekly Address -- Current

2 Sense

The Wheel of Hate is an attempt to balance out the hate, as both 2 and his co-hosts have admitted to hating everyone.

Fun Facts
*To date, there have only been two "live" shows, or shows that were recorded outside of Gryphon Studios.

*The show for April 1st, 2007 was hosted by 2 and Nik's cousins, 7 and Nigel. 7 and Nigel appear to be the complete opposite of 2 and Nik; both are straight and come from extremely wealthy families and understand very little about how the world outside their estates work. They had so much fun with the show, that they "invented" a curse word and 7 even submitted a segment for the last few episodes of 2007 and he appears to now have a small fan following of his own.

*Garr's Segment -- Hiatus

-- Current

*Edsel's Weekly Address -- Current

Valnatron:

The Wheel of Hate is an attempt to balance out the hate, as both 2 and his co-hosts have admitted to hating everyone.

Fun Facts
*To date, there have only been two "live" shows, or shows that were recorded outside of Gryphon Studios.

*Garr's Segment -- Hiatus

**Satosuke takes a Libertarian view point on many hot-topics in the world of politics and often spends his segments pointing out the flaws in both right and left winged reasoning behind such subjects as abortion, gun control, drugs and gay marriage. While he and 2 do share similar views on some subject, the segment was originally aired because the two do disagree on several subjects and it was felt that a balance was needed. This, however, promted many listeners to believe Satosuke was right-winged, which he is not.

-- Current

*Edsel's Weekly Address -- Current

*The Rants

The Wheel of Hate is an attempt to balance out the hate, as both 2 and his co-hosts have admitted to hating everyone.

Fun Facts
*To date, there have only been two "live" shows, or shows that were recorded outside of Gryphon Studios.

*Garr's Segment -- Hiatus

*The reading of a quick hiaku written by Nik about something that had happened to him during the past week, often followed by an explaination or backstory as to why the hiaku was written.

*Counter-Point with Satosuke -- Current
**Satosuke takes a Libertarian view point on many hot-topics in the world of politics and often spends his segments pointing out the flaws in both right and left winged reasoning behind such subjects as abortion, gun control, drugs and gay marriage. While he and 2 do share similar views on some subject, the segment was originally aired because the two do disagree on several subjects and it was felt that a balance was needed. This, however, promted many listeners to believe Satosuke was right-winged, which he is not.

-- Current

*Edsel's Weekly Address -- Current

**Originating from a news report of a Welsh company (named "Dragon") being sued for false advertising - as they sold "Dragon Meat Sausages." When said on the show it is usually said by both 2 and the co-host in a slow and patronising voice.

2 Sense is an internet radio show hosted by 2 the Ranting Gryphon, which was broadcast on the Rant Radio web station, but is now back to pre-recorded shows. Running for two years, the show revolved around the week's news, 2's politics, and the furry fandom.

The show's past co-hosts included: Adric Verminus, Jakebe, Prismo, Dax and Riku. The last co-host was primarily Aubrin; however, past co-hosts and guests did take the role from time to time. Jakebe was in fact the longest running co-host and the only co-host during the first 35 episodes of the show.

2 Sense broadcasts were originally an hour in length, but increased to an hour and 50 minutes and streamed live at around 1am Saturday mornings; they were rebroadcast later in the week (and available for download on 2's website).

Despite the success of the show, in 2005, 2 announced that, due to its taking away from his personal time and the fact that the formula had become somewhat predictable, he would end the series. 2 planned to return to his recorded rants as well as larger projects.

2 Sense, on November 12th 2006, returned for about 40 shows and then took a haitus and returned yet again on March 5th 2008

Segments
The show contained a number of segments which changed over time. The ones contained in the penultimate show, #86, were as follows:
*Feedback - Comments on the previous show and its contents by listeners.
*Gore News - A collection of headlines and articles featuring odd, unusual or generally ignorant ways people have died, gotten mangled, or sometimes miraculously survived injury in the previous week.
*World News - Stories from around the world, discussed by 2 and his co-host for the week.
*Spazfox's DVD of the Week - A comedic review written and performed by Spazfox.
*Listener Mail - E-mails from listeners on a variety of subjects.

Past segments used on the show but since canceled were:
*Furry News - News about the furry fandom as well as any extremely funny news articles involving animals. This ended when people realized there wasn't enough news coming out of the fandom for it to require a weekly segment.
*Dumb Laws - 2 read out all of the Dumb Laws from each state in USA. (it only ended because they ran out of states).
*Weekly Trippy Goo - The weekly trippy goo segment was a 3 minute long segment by Maligno in which he said whatever came to mind, usually an outlandish theoretical dilemma that he would ponder over and eventually develop an even stranger yet oddly logical solution to. It ended when Maligno was committed to a mental hospital. No-one has since heard from him.
* Garr's Word Of The Week - One word of particular interest presented each week by the sultry voice of Garr, in which 2 and his co-host were challenged to use during the rest of the show. This segment was eventually replaced by Garr's Travel Stories.

Co-Hosts/Contributors
There were many co-hosts of and contributors to 2 Sense:

Jakebe (David)
Jakebe Sunraven, often jokingly referred to as J-bird, is an artist and comedian in the furry fandom from Baltimore, USA. Being a submissive, macrophillic, black, gay fur he brought some of the most original points of view imaginable to 2 Sense.
He was the first, and longest running, co-host, and the only one up until episode 34 of 2 Sense. His last show was episode 37.
Jakebe (real name Dave/David) is an active member of the furry fandom and frequents several furry conventions. His avatar was previously a raven, however, later it was changed to a bunny in spite of 2's relentless mockery.

Jakebe is now working on artwork related to the furry fandom and has been largely involved with the furry comic Boomer Express.

Aubrin (The Pengi)
Aubrin was the co-host who became the standard co-host after Jakebe left. He co-hosted about 30 shows in total, just short of the amount Jakebe co-hosted. However, he co-hosted more of the two hour live shows whereas Jakebe co-hosted more of the original one hour shows.

Aubrin uses a penguin as his avatar in the fandom and thus gained the nickname 'The Pengi' during his time on the show. A common gag during his stint on the show was for 2 to poke him in order to make him squeal, or some other attempt to make him sad, claiming that it made Aubrin cuter that way.

Aubrin is a well respected and well known artist in the furry fandom. A good deal of his art can be found at his personal website along with his live journal.
*Aubrin's Personal Webpage

Prismo
Prismo was a guest co-host who appeared on about 5-7 shows. He was the only co-host used on 2 Sense who was heterosexual, thus bringing a very different perspective to the show.

Prismo uses a koala as his avatar.

Dax
Dax was a seldom used co-host but one who found co-hosting 2 Sense came very naturally. He co-hosted only 3 shows including the final show of 2 Sense.

Riku
Riku co-hosted only once for show 35 when Jakebe was unavailable; however, he became well liked by the listeners. Riku uses a bunny as his avatar and was teased on the show for it, possibly strengthening the running "Bunny" joke on the show.

At 19 years old, Riku was the youngest person ever to co-host on 2 Sense.

Adric
Adric again was a one-off co-host for the show (#39). He was a little too quiet during the show he co-hosted and a little hesitant to give his opinion.

Adric has been mentioned on many occasions on 2 Sense for being able to turn gay men straight by sucking all the gayness from the surrounding area by playing Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) to the song "It's Raining Men"

Adric uses the avatar of a rat in the furry fandom.

Adric is a fellow stand up comedian, who has opened for 2 in the past, is currently putting his comedy on hiatus to practice his writing skills, namely, his first novel.

Spazfox
Spazfox sent in the longest running segment that was not done by either 2 or a co-host during the run of 2 Sense. Spazfox was the creator of the 'Spazfox's DVD of the Week' segment, in which he reviewed DVDs in a very unique manner.

Spazfox is somewhat curious as to why the great Uncle Kage's segment, News From the Future, has not been written about, as it's the one segment on 2 Sense he finds more entertaining than his own.

Spazfox enjoys editing Wiki articles about himself because it "gives him a laugh."

Garr
Garr is a British fur who once sent in an audio letter which happened to make 2 go weak at the knees, after which he immediately demanded that Garr perform a segment on the show. Garr's voice is accepted amongst the 2 Sense listeners as being so sexy it will even turn a straight man on (and many have sent in letters to the show confirming this). Garr started with the "Word Of The Week" segment but then changed his segment to "Garr's Travels" where he discussed his various strange-yet-true adventures in globetrotting during his many failed attempts to go to Anthrocon.

Garr also read the popular poem The Raven as a segment, but at over 10 minutes, it was too long to include on the show.

Now that "2 Sense" has ended, Garr is cohosting the radio show VLF on the FBC with fellow British fur Sphelx.
*Audio File - 'The Raven' read by Garr
*Garr's Official Website

Maligno
Maligno is a 15 year old who sent in the Weekly Trippy Goo segment. He was committed to a mental hospital by his parents and contact has not been possible. His segment however was a unique outlook on the world and many viewed it as quite strange (but in a good way). However, no one is quite sure exactly how he comes up with his segments, as Malingno was described on the show as a fairly intelligent and stable fur who did not do drugs (the most obvious speculation given by the 2 Sense crew and listeners upon listening to his first segment).

Maligno reappeared briefly on February 4, 2005, suggesting that he has been released.

Maligno is the second youngest person to ever appear in a segment on 2 Sense.

Jessie T. Wolf
Jessie T. Wolf is a fur artist from Toronto Canada, who appeared on two of the shows as a guest and did a commissioned picture for 2 Gryphon, as well as giving one away as a prize on one of the shows.

She is very tiny and cute according to 2 Gryphon and was extremely shy when on the show.

2's mother
2's mother appeared a few times on 2 Sense, as a guest. Members in the chat frequently referred to her affectionately as "1", or the Mommy Griffin.

2 claims he is unable to swear whenever his mother is present, under the threat of getting slapped.

Gary Walker
Gary Walker is the host of the segment "Over the pond" on 2 Sense. In this segment he reports the British news in a very comical way.
Gary Walker is fourteen, which makes him the youngest person ever involved with 2 Sense.
Gary Walker lives in the North-East of England, but during his segment adopts a strong, stereotypical South London accent (most UK residents would disagree with this and say it sounds northern to us).
He also is an avid comic book fan and collects Avengers comics. His favourite band is the Queens Of the Stone Age.

Rant Radio
2 Sense was rebroadcast on Rant Radio for approximately the last 40 episodes. It became one of the most popular shows on Rant Radio becoming so popular that the show required its own separate IRC room as the number of listeners tuning in solely for 2 Sense outstripped that of any show previously played on Rant Radio. This actually caused bandwidth issues during the first few shows when unprecedented numbers of listeners flocked to Rant Radio during the first few live episodes.

2 Sense 2.0 (The Resurrection)
2 Sense 2.0 started on November 12th, 2006. This new show features Nik Vulper as the new co-host, as well as familiar characters. Spazfox and Garr make their return, as well as the esteemed Uncle Kage. Spazfox does the DVD of the Week segment like he did in the last season. Garr has stopped his travel tales and is now the 2 Sense International Correspondent. Uncle Kage does the "News from the Future," a parody segment in which fictional news is reported from roughly 50 years in the future. Some of the other new segments in the show include Furry Baptisms (also known as "Faptisms" for the way they are done), and Furry Birthdays. Both of these segments are heavily influenced by the Furry Army of Doom (FAOD) forums. Another aspect about this new show is the 2 Sense Research Team. This team consists of 10 members of the FAOD: Tyrel_Roo, Sergent Sai, Cassandra Rising, TakaiX, Don Helder Camara, Zyph, Ion Seal, Ark, Sidepocket, and Armonkyi. Introduced in 2007 were segment hosts Sadesuke the Wanderer, Gary Walker, Etzel, and Dari the Emobird. Sadesuke presented a libertarian view on current events, Gary Walker reported on local news from his home in England, Etzel dispensed horoscopes, and Dari read and answered letters about what it was like to be truly emo. Recent computer trouble and school work, however, has kept them from the microphone.

The Wheel of Hate is an attempt to balance out the hate, as both 2 and his co-hosts have admitted to hating everyone. In recent episodes, the Furry Baptisms and Birthdays have been set aside for a new segment called "Furry Fifteen Minutes", during which time 2 will phone up another Furry and talk with them for a bit.
