Skan Drake

Unclefester: Mods are useless, come get me!

Skan Drake (born December 5) is an artist whose fursona is a puma. He is also a member SOAP

Character background
Skan is 5'10" tall and weighs 130lbs. He comes from a rather harsh background, with no real parental figures in his early life. He never knew his parents, but has never really been concerned about them.

Skan is a self-taught, self-reliant rogue. Wandering from place to place, he has never really had the chance to let others get close to him. He does not care what people think about him, and only a few have pierced his hard outer shell to get to know the real Skan.

The name "Skan Drake" is actually a reference to the main charter, a Gryphon named Skandranon in Mercedes Lackey's Mage Wars books.

Real life
Skan's real life name is Charles, although he dislikes the name and has been trying to phase out its use. Born in Dayton, Ohio, U.S.A, Skan later moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, and as of October, 2008, resides in Blacksburg, Virgina, attending Virginia Tech.

Chạrles used to regularly compete in the USEF (United States Equestrian Federation) but has not since attending school in Virginia.

Art
Skan's art is mostly CGI still-life artwork. He uses TrueSpace v.6, Maxon Cinema 4D, and 3DS.

Con Attendance
* Furry Weekend Atlanta 2009
* Anthrocon 2009

Rain Silves

2012-09-12T11:11:29Z

Unclefester:

:This article is about the character. "Rain" is also a nickname for D.C. Simpson.
cleanup
General Rain Silves is a Sergal, a creation of trancy MICK.
Rain is the leader of the Tatola Desert tribe of Sergals, also known as the "Shigu Clan". The members of this tribe are distinguishable due to their long fur (in comparison to the Sergal of the South Sailzan Desert tribe.)

She is slightly different from the average Sergal. She is much taller and has an eye color mutation which causes her eyes to have a golden pigment instead of grey or blue. She is known to wear ceramic armour into battle and wields what seems to be a double-bladed lance of some sort. She uses the blood of her enemies, or her companion, Gin, to paint the 'blood-trails' that originate from her eyes. The most interesting part of her anatomy is the prehensile clitoral hood, which a lot of people mistake for a penis and think that Rain is a hermaphrodite; however, she is female.

History
She is the main character of the series of stories Trancy wrote about the world of Vilous, where she is the supreme commander of the Shigu clan. Throughout the storyline, Rain is shown as a cruel and cold creature, with a passion for bloodshed.
The author has confirmed that the Sergal General loves to eat living prey, especially Sergal children of the rival clans. However, despite her violent and cruel nature, Rain seems to have some sort of "friendship" with the Wahuenru named Gin, as well as affection for the character of Rushiya, who is of indeterminate race.

The meme
It is unknown who first thought of the "Rain likes to rape" meme, but quickly Rain's popularity on 4chan skyrocketed to match that of Pyramid Head (which she has also been depicted as raping). Her nightmarish appearance and the prehensile clit hood quickly caught the acceptance of the wider audience. A large amount of fan art followed, with themes ranging from 'tame' to outright parody, where we can see Rain dressed up as a nurse, a schoolgirl or even a tennis player.

Rain's position as a furry icon is getting stronger day by day, and it is possible that she may soon join the anthro Hall of Fame with other noticeable furry characters.

Some on 7chan consider Rain the mascot of their furry board and like her image in an easily locatable thread as decoration.

National Association of Furry Fans

Unclefester:

National Association of Furry Fans (N.A.F.F) was a semiserious proposed notion for a furry fandom recognized group that would have controlled and dispensed "legal" Furry ID cards/badges.

As suggested by Brent Sunday on alt.fan.furry:

Another potential name for this group was the none too serious National Association of Real Furries (N.A.R.F). This idea never went past the suggestion stage.

Jack covers subjects related to the attitude a person can lead in life and its consequences to them and to the people around them. Frequent features are disease, rape, murder, suicide, bereavement and redemption. The comic is divided into a number of arcs (subplots) of varying length. Artwork style and presence of color differ from arc to arc. Arcs take place on Hell, Earth, Heaven and Purgatory. Arcs set on Earth (usually revolving around Jack's job as Grim Reaper) take place during different, not always consecutive, time periods. In Heaven and Hell there is no concept of time. The eyes of characters symbolize their status in the Jack universe: sins have no pupils; living souls and angels have full pupils; the souls of deceased persons have "pin-prick" eyes as long as they do not recognize their sins.

The comic centers around decidedly mature themes, as demonstrated by the third strip in the debut arc which allowed Fnar to meet his mother, restrained to a cave wall with the rock actually encompassing her right leg and holding her arms as if it were eating her. The mature themes of the comic are made quite plain at that time, as the woman bore a stab wound under her left ribs near the stomach and also had her throat slashed. The blood from these wounds is still dripping in the scenes, and Fnar himself looked grisly as he was "aged" by Jack in stages to the age of a preteen boy.

Jacks plot bounces around quite often, but it remains true to the Hell theme for the most part. On occasion, strips are published which pertain to real world events, like the Angry Brian story arc which depicted events similar to those of the horrific Columbine High School Massacre. Other features of the comic include the appearance of real places like the former World Trade Center that was destroyed in the infamous and very tragically devastating terrorist attacks of 9/11. The Angry Brian story arc sparked heavy feedback from the readers, and also helped to earn the comic a large reader base.

Jack is based on Christian tradition, but the world and its rules are inconsistent with typical Christian views. The angels are the forces of good, and the sins are evil personified. These two forces do not fight each other much in the comic; in fact, for the most part they appear to work together without any major problems, although this may be due to the focus on Jack, the most amenable of Sins. Many of Hell's denizens enjoy inflicting pain on one another. However, there is confusion at times, with people who were good in life end up going to Hell. The unfairness of the fates of many of these people, and the observations of Jack on the unfairness of life, are central themes.

The comic can be morbid, but it has its tender moments and optimistic highlights. Not all the characters of the comic are doomed to Hell for eternity. They all have a chance to eventually live on Earth again in new forms as a test to see if they have "learned" from their previous life's mistakes. If so, they are admitted to heaven. If not, they are condemned once more to the bowels of Hell.

History
David previously created comics such as Rework the Dead. After creating "Trixi and Tet" (which later became the third story "Arc" of Jack), his then girlfriend (and later wife) Katie suggested that he should break out to a bigger audience. Initially hesitant as he was used to a smaller audience, he then expanded. After "Trixi and Tet" was published, he had around 5,000 readers. Since then, Jack has grown in popularity, with four published comics books, spin-off comic books, and a growing fan base.

The comic has since made references to other comics in the furry fandom, including guest art from furry fandom such as Albert Temple and Candy Dewalt, and also appears in other furry webcomics such as A Doemain of Our Own and Gene Catlow. Due to his lack of memory, little of his life on Earth is known, but he does remember parts when angels from Heaven allow him to. It is known he was created by humans as part of an experiment, and his anger was triggered by the death of another similar experiment called "Jill". He was born without genitalia for fear that he would reproduce. It is also becoming increasingly apparent that most of the embodiment of his sins are related to the falling out of mankind sometime between Jill's death and the beginning of the comic, possibly through direct killing, by way of incurring the "wrath" of Jack.

;Fnar
:Fnar, who died while still in utero, appears as a child dressed in a blue and green sailor suit. He is missing his nose, because when his form in hell was being created, a crow tore it off. Although Fnar died unborn, and hence without sin, he was sent to Hell, primarily to keep him close to his mother. Curious, trusting, and always smiling, Fnar is unaffected by the horrors of Hell because he died innocent and ignorant. He spends much of his time exploring Hell's riotous and fascinating landscape, while occasionally providing companionship to the reaper, Jack, or reuniting with his Hell-bound mother. His name is an acronym for "For No Apparent Reason".

;Drip Tiberius Rat
:The embodiment of lust, Drip is a monstrous blue rat with distinct, black scars around both eyes. In life, Drip was a serial rapist and murderer. In death, Drip perpetuates these sins and shows no regard for his own redemption, making him a terrific threat to anyone who ventures too near. Jack, in particular, is tormented regularly by Drip. As part of his punishment, Drip is unable to feel any sort of gratification for his sins in Hell. Drip appears in other projects by Hopkins and functions as his nickname.

;Farrago
:A young angel who often struggles to make sense of the politics of Heaven and Hell. She is portrayed as a ferret with bloody stumps protruding from her back, suggesting that her wings have been violently removed. A sympathetic character, Farrago develops an affinity for Jack upon their first meeting. She and Jack collaborate against injustices on numerous occasions. During a conversation with Todd, she reveals that in life she was a member of "Her Majesty's Royal Armed Infantry in the days before guns and artillery."

;Central
:A senior angel who adheres strictly to God's rule. A hybrid, her breed has been described as a "Hodge-Podge." It was revealed that Central and Jack were close during life but currently have a difficult relationship. Although Central outwardly expresses a disdain for the reaper, she is, by nature, deeply dedicated to his redemption. She often struggles with her conflicting feelings for him.

;Others
:Other characters include the other five sins, Vince Van Morrison (Greed), Dr. Kane (Envy), Bob and Lisa Vorsh (Gluttony), Emily (Vanity) and the unnamed Sloth. There are also denizens of Hell, Heaven, Purgatory, and characters living on Earth. God also makes several appearances as a ewe.

Four comic books containing collections of Jack comics (also referred to as the "dead tree versions") have been published by FurNation. These include bonus story arcs not available online. There are also comic books by Hopkins and guest writers set in the same universe as Jack. These are Cliff (2 issues) and Long Island (1 issue). ==Reception==
Jack has a mixed reception. Positive reviews claim Jack is enjoyable because the story arcs contain meaning and comments on morality. One review of it said, "Each story arc has been deeper than the last, showing the politics and struggles of those that control Heaven and Hell. Each story has a moral to it; a massively deeper meaning that gives the reader a glimpse into his or her own soul. Jack is philosophical. Jack is intense. Jack is violent, sadistic, cruel, merciless, and never holds back a punch. Jack is also perhaps one of the absolute best comics on the web today. It takes an iron stomach to be able to see some of the images that David presents to the reader, but if you can handle it, you'll be hard pressed to disagree."

However, critics attacked Jack because of these attempts to make serious stories. One wrote, "To people who value glitz over substance, Jack can pass for a deep and thoughtful meditation on the meaning of life, death, retribution and punishment. But stop to think for a moment, and what once looked like depth is really just so much chaos. That's too bad, because Jack is a comic that so desperately wants to be taken seriously, so desperately wants to shock and appall "the squares" with poorly rendered guts and gore, so desperately wants to be oh so edgy." Others have complained about the use of graphic violence, the way that it deals with Christian issues, and spelling mistakes, with one review saying that, "Jack could benefit from a good editor."

Cameos
There have been many cameos on Jack, including appearances from Pink, Skye Bluedeer, SueDeer, Mab, Gene Catlow & Cotton, Vinci & Arty, Silverblue and Trixi & Tet.
* The comic recently featured what may have been a cameo appearance of Uncle Kage in the Joann and Jeremy arc. Depicted as he has usually described the meaning of the name, a roach, he features in the arc as a guest speaker at a wedding in his labcoat delivering a speech about God and love while taking one or two breaks during the speech to sip wine out of a martini glass. He later wanders in the crowd, being approached and called by name by the groom and thanked for the speech, to which Kage said "Why thank you m'boy. By the way, I certainly hope you remembered what I said, because I sure don't." This could be due to being drunk when he gave the speech, though. In the same strip, the characters Vinci & Arty can be seen dancing together in the first panel.
* 2, the Ranting Gryphon is referred to in a Jack comic short, in which a "ranting talent agent" whose species is a gryphon has a small '#2' written in over his head.
* The Funday Pawpet Show is referred to in Those That Run.
* Jack appeared on A Doemain of Our Own as one of the potential explanations for the disappearance of Eric from the plotline
* Newshounds is referenced in several of the comic strips
* The Extinctioners appears as a cartoon on a television set

Mab of Mab's Land and DMFA also drew a series of chibified versions of the characters of Jack. These are displayed in Mab's Chibi Hell.

At the Heart of it All was a furry webcomic by Immelmann, inspired by comics such as xkcd and early Modern Love. At the Heart of it All was a personal project started by Immelmann as "a tour of his mind - a look at his hopes, dreams, fears and insecurities". It occasionally featured characters from Immelmann's other webcomic, Concession.

The comic takes its title from the Nine Inch Nails song of the same name.

Style
The comic is drawn in a very simple, chibi style, usually with no backgrounds and very simple details. Sometimes, for dramatic effect, characters are drawn in full form.

Occasionally, animation and interactivity is used.

Relation to Concession
At the Heart of it All sometimes reveals things about characters from Concession. A six comic series starting in August 08 revealed that Joel, in his youth, was kept in an insane asylum, as a result of hallucinations regarding his deceased sister. On two occasions, Heart comics gave a preview to hairstyle changes for the Concession cast.

Cast
Immy: Male brown wolf/rabbit hybrid, and the artist. He's an anxious, self-sadistic, shy yet arrogant creature.

Dr. Tyras: Male pikachu, Immy's pet/familiar here playing the role of psychiatrist.

Joel: Male black wolf. The character from Concession appears as a violent and evil entity, representing Immy's dark side or fears.

Laius: Male brown wolf, Immy's in-canon father. Used to symbolize a fatherly figure in an oppressive fashion. He is named after the father from Oedipus Rex.

Jocasta: Female white rabbit, Immy's in-canon mother. Used to represent positive maternal forces, appears only once so far. Named after the mother from Oedipus Rex.

Xephalia: Female martian. She first appeared in #50, a Spore parody in which Immy traveled to Mars. She has since appeared in a number of comics, usually of a sexual theme.

QuetzaDrake and VoE: At the time of their appearance, they were both Immy's boyfriends. QuetzaDrake is a male brown dragon with blue hair; VoE is a white male kitsune.

Campy: Male rabbit, a character from Furthia High who has had brief cameos.

Conclusion
In strip #99, Immelmann mentally snaps, killing Tyras and Xephalia before destroying the reader's view. Although not officially announced by Immelmann, it is speculated that #100 will be a large, animated finale. QuetzaDrake confirmed this, and so, the comic is temporarily suspended.

Kaze: Ghost Warrior (series)

Kaze: Ghost Warrior is an animated series made by Timothy Albee that was the launching project of his Timothy Albee Animation studio. The series centers around the anthropomorphic warrior tiger character, Kaze (character). The publishing of the series pilot on DVD in 2004, even as unpolished as it was with its creator as the only voice actor and no tails on the anthropomorphic characters, found strong popularity within the furry fandom and even made good impressions outside of the fandom as a "proof of concept" model to show that anyone, with only a few thousand dollars' worth of software and equipment, can share their dreams and stories in the form of professional-quality, computer-animated movies.

Well-known furs, including Nexxus of FurNation and 2, The Ranting Gryphon, were astonished at Kaze: Ghost Warrior both from the perspective of it being an astonishing original creation, and hopefully as inspiration for more furries to bring to CGI life their own stories and dreams to share with others. fact

The animated short, some 23 minutes long, was only the pilot in a planned series of episodes and longer, larger-budget Kaze (prequel feature).

An sequel to the series pilot is known to have been in development and originally slated for release in 2007 under the working title of "Kaze: Ghost Warrior 2". The second episode will feature an encouter glimpsed in the trailer between Kaze and "Lord" Soshi, in which Kaze states "I was better than you before I died; what makes you think you can defeat me now?"

Tim also has plans to expand, enhance and touch up the original pilot by adding a scene in which Kaze's father talks about his disapperance and reappearance, giving tails to characters using new features in an upgrade to the software used to make the original pilot, and giving a voice to at least one of the female characters.

A full-length feature prequel movie, taking place before the pilot, is also planned.

Kaze is a planned feature-length prequel movie to the Kaze: Ghost Warrior series centered around Kaze, an anthropomorphic tiger captain of the elite House Guard in a land that known peace for countless generations under the wise rule of a much beloved royal family.

The prequel feature will take place prior to and lead to and through the murders of the royal family as well as Kaze's eventual death. His reappearance in the pilot for the animated series is his rising from the dead (and thus the series' title, Ghost Warrior, absent from the prequel feature's title as the prequel starts with him alive).

Although the Ghost Warrior pilot was proudly done with a very limited budget by one person as a proof of concept, Timothy Albee, creator of Kaze: Ghost Warrior and the prequel, intends to have a much fuller budget -- albeit still miniscule compared with most Hollywood movie budgets -- for the Kaze prequel. As such, the project will need financial backing to proceed.

Jungledyret Hugo

2012-09-12T11:01:31Z

Unclefester:

Jungledyret Hugo is a Danish media franchise featuring the cartoon adventures of a cute anthropomorphic mammal named Hugo. Created by Danish author and filmmaker Flemming Quist Møller and produced at A. Film A/S, the franchise currently consists of two animated features, an animated television series, and a third film done in CGI.

The two feature films were translated, edited, and released in the United States on a single DVD in 2005 by Mirimax.

The Characters
In the Jungledyret films, many animals talk to each other, but humans can't understand them. This is a standard conceit, seen in such films as Balto.

The following character names are from the 2005 Miramax DVD.

Hugo
Hugo is a rare, apparently unique, fictional mammal of the previously unknown species Hugus Primiticus. His parents are never mentioned. He looks something like a living teddy bear, and has yellow fur. In the second film, he mentions to a pig that he only has a summer coat.

He has prehensile hands, each with three fingers and a thumb. He has large, fuzzy ears, and human-like feet with four toes. He is bipedal, though he can run in a quadrupedal manner for speed. He uses tools such as levers and skateboards, and can outwit other animals, such as snakes, cats, and squirrels. He is noted for his cleverness, his kind heart, his love of food, and the occasional bout of childish selfishness. He eats mostly fruits and loves bananas.

In the original Danish release, Hugo was voiced by Jesper Klein. On the 2005 Miramax release, Hugo was voiced by Bronson Pinchot, probably best known in the United States for his role as Balki Bartokomous on the sitcom Perfect Strangers.

Rita the fox
Rita is an adolescent red fox who befriends Hugo on the streets of Copenhagen. She and Hugo quickly become best friends. She's kind and spunky and has a decent amount of common sense unlike Hugo when in the city. She lives with her mother and her younger brothers and sister in a den near some railroad tracks. Her father is never mentioned. Hugo is Rita's love interest.

In the original Danish production, Rita was voiced by Kaya Brüel. On the 2005 Miramax release, Rita was voiced by Holly Gauthier-Frankel.

Meatball Charlie
Charlie is the cook aboard the cargo ship that transports Hugo to Copenhagen. He finds Hugo, who has escaped the cargo hold, and at the end of the voyage, donates him to the city zoo. He appears toward the end of the first film, and is not present in the second. Though he makes several appearances in the third, nearly coming off as part of the main character cast. Hugo mentions that Meatball Charlie seems to be his and Rita's only human friend.

In the original Danish production, Meatball Charlie is named Dellekaj (a mixture of "Delle" which is slang for frikadelle, a special kind of Danish meatball and Kaj which is a common Danish name) and was voiced by Jesper Klein who also voices Hugo. On the 2005 Miramax release, Charlie was voiced by Marcel Jeannin.

Conrad Cupmann
Conrad is the main villain in both films. He owns a movie studio in Copenhagen, and dreams of making lots of money. He is morally bankrupt, willing to slash and burn the jungle to capture Hugo. His first relationship started off with Izabella Dehavalot, but rejected her wishes and left her when Hugo manages to escape Copenhagen. His second relationship is with Barbie Turner, but instead, he is rejected by her for hurting Hugo.

On the 2005 Miramax release, Conrad was voiced by Mark Camacho.

Izabella Dehavalot
Izabella is a black-haired starlet with a sharp figure. She is also the wife of Conrad Cupmann during the first film. Her goal is to gain notoriety through the exploitation of an animal co-star; she cites several fictional actors, and then her "good friend Michael" and his chimp. Upon the discovery of Hugo, Izabella brightens at the idea of using him as her co-star and stops at nothing to capture him. Conrad divorced her in the time span between the two films. In all European versions she is called Izabella Scorpio.

On the 2005 Miramax release, Izabella was voiced by Susan Glover.

Doctor Loongkoffer
Loongkoffer is an animal psychologist hired by Conrad to tame Hugo. His role is reminiscient of Animaniacs' Dr. Otto Scratchansniff, whose job was to civilize Yakko, Wakko, and Dot.

On the 2005 Miramax release, Loongkoffer was voiced by Arthur Grosser.

The Jungle Dog
A small jungle dog pup that Hugo and Rita encounter in the third movie. Rita discovers the pup when she hides in a hollow log near the Jungle Dog's nest area. The pup mistakes Rita for its mother and Rita (presuming the pup was abandoned by its real mother) takes it under her wing. Before the movie's release, some fans mistook the pup to be Hugo and Rita's child.

Content issues
The films have some content which might make some viewers uncomfortable.

In the first film, when Hugo is sleeping on a ship, a calendar above him displays a picture of a naked woman. The image was blurred in the Miramax dub. A scene where Hugo is shocked three times by telephone wires was cut from the dub. The dub also toned down the original's language and removed some of Izabella's racial remarks about an Indian character.

Jack is a furry webcomic by David Hopkins. It is set in a world populated by anthropomorphic animals and focuses on judgment and afterlife, which function according to Christian beliefs, and is noted for its depiction of "rape, drug use, swearing, graphic sexual acts, incest, cannibalism, nudity, savage violence, and images of Hell."

Jack focuses on its title character, a wizened green rabbit who lives in Hell. He is the embodiment of the deadly sin wrath, whose punishment is being the Grim Reaper. In life, the unfairness of some deaths, particularly towards the ones he loved, made him angry. In his position as Grim Reaper, he now has to witness more death, the cause of his wrath. Jack attempts to remember the sins he did in life in order to be forgiven for them. This is hard for him as his other punishment is having no memory of his life on Earth.

Jack was joint winner of the "Best Dramatic Comic" award at the Web Cartoonist's Choice Awards in 2004.

Overview

Characters
;Jack
:The embodiment of wrath, Jack is a wizened green rabbit, wearing a ragged, brown cloak and carrying a scythe. His job is to collect the souls of the dead and lead them to their final judgment as the Grim Reaper. The plot revolves around his attempts to recollect the sins he committed during his life, which have been removed from his memory as part of his punishment. Due to his lack of memory, little of his life on Earth is known, but he does remember parts when angels from Heaven allow him to.

Reception

Notable contributions were made in both art and stories by Terrie Smith, and the 'zine itself is believed to have been one of the earliest renditions of the characters Ural Christophe Deck and Chester Magreer (commonly referred to as Chester Ringtail), which in turn gave birth to Havoc Inc.

Although sold domestically and overseas, the actual publication itself was on an incredibly small scale. The two completed issues are no longer in distribution, the originals now only in the hands of those who purchased copies at the time of their releases in 1992 and 1993. A third issue was in production, but was cancelled so that Mark Barnard could pursue work in the commercial comics industry.

----
From Issue #1:

In a distant, uncharted section of the universe, two largely anthropomorphic coalitions continue to wage a generations-old war of attrition. For over a thousand years, the forces of the Aligned Mammalian Federation have waged unrelenting war against the aggressively colonial fleets of Lord Onyx's assembled Demon races. Evenly matched, neither battle force has managed to score a telling victory. Badly battered and its captain dead, following the latest in a seemingly endless series of bloody skirmishes, one A.M.F. line cruiser breaks formation and deserts - its crew having decided that anything has to be a distinct improvement on continuing to dare continually skewed odds in open battle. The crew's shared goal is to locate some safe, neutral haven beyond the reach of either side. The chief complication to this plan lies in the the fact that their one clear way "out" lies through the very heart of the main battle zone - a sprawling, continually shifting network of conflicts which spans the two adjoining systems. In addition, the cruiser is now being avidly pursued by both the A.M.F. and the Demon forces. Tokenly disguising the ship and continually altering its electronic registry code, in an attempt to pass as one of the demobbed military craft now serving private industry, the renegades begin their uneasy quest. En route, they encounter the crew of a giant battle robot who, arriving at the same conclusions about survival in a hostile universe, have defected from the Demon fleet. Robot and cruiser continue on together...

Maho, also known as Maho Gato or yuemaho (in furaffinity), (born March 4 1985) is a spanish fur. Right now he hasn't got fursuit but he'll have it in September 2011.

Personal Life
Maho was born in the south of Spain, in the province of Cádiz. He is mated to Munty, whom he met at his second year of university (2007).

He introduced in Furry Fandom when he has around 18-19 years old.

In June 2006 he created a website, named Maho no Heya (マホの部屋, its traduction is 'Maho's Bedroom'). There he upload all images, animations, videos and comics he found on the web. The design was poor because he didn't know web programming.

This website stepped through several servers during 4 years, until at the end of 2010, he bought a host and a domain (www.mahonoheya.com) and the design made better because he had more experience of web programming.

That website was open only few months (until 11 of February), nowadays it's closed because of people threaten and try to frighten him. Whole site was deleted.

April 3rd, 2011 he created another website called FurArtist Ranking. It is a web to vote for furrys artists, anyone who is registered can add more artists to the list. It still open and this is the link www.furartistranking.com.

May, 9th, 2010 he also created a website called Kemono no Unmei. It's a online webcomic which Laho, Munty and Maho are making. You can visit it here www.kemononounmei.com .

Fursona
Maho's fursona is a cat named like him Maho. It's his first and unique fursona, designed in 2008.

His fur is black except left ear, left pawhand, muzzle, chest and the tip of the tail are white. His pawpads are all white except left pawhand which is black. His hair and eyes are blue. He wears a black cat collar with a bell (even in real life).

He didn't want to add lot of details, he wanted his fursona was simple but everyone could recognize it.

Fursuit
Always he was a fan of fursuit, his first fursuit was made by Creaciones Gaudy (they finished it in 2010, they delayed 1 year and half, and Maho had to paid $2100) but they made a brute of a job and he never use it.

Then he ordered another fursuit to madefuryou group, but they'll start to make it on August 2011.

Artwork
He doesn't draw, but he buy lot of picture commissions from very good artists.

Here is the list of drawing which he had bought, or gifted, in chronological order with some details. Visit his furaffinity - http://www.furaffinity.net/user/yuemaho/

Real Life
He born in March 4st 1985 in the city of San Fernando, where he lives nowadays. He started to study computer engineer at University of Cádiz in 2005 until present day.

Golden Oaks Academy

2012-09-12T10:45:13Z

Unclefester:

Golden Oaks Academy is an anthropomorphic RPG created by DarkIceWolf and hosted by Proboards and set in a castle in a modern (but slightly supernatural) themed world that is very close to or exactly like our own.

The forum is maintained by Sylvyr, Regulus Rook and a few other mods. Sylvyr plays the Headmaster, Drake the Red dragon of Wales. His family and Drake's often rare staff guard the school but very rarely enforces the rules which a fancy boarding school would be expected to have.

The RP itself is usually casual or soap opera-ish in drama and plots and can be compared to Harry Potter and Redwall in storyline and plot. The only exceptions involve an attack on the school which is usually treated very seriously.

DarkIceWolf continues to update the forum's skin and boards at least once every change of season.

Rai Inuzuma (or "Rai") is the fursona of Steven Harden, a furry who lives in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, U.S.A.

Rai was created on June 24, 2010, and is a dragon/lynx hybrid. His body is covered in mainly-yellow fur, with some black and brown markings. He also has white fur that runs from his chin to his abdomen. Since he is half-dragon, Rai's hind legs have the bone structure of a dragon, giving him have powerful leg muscles. He also has dragon wings. These are wide enough to support him, but any extra weight (for example, more than a full-grown adult) easily get him unbalanced.

Since he is half-dragon, Rai can breath fire. In addition to this, what appears to be a tattoo on his right paw is actually a birthmark that gives him the power to conduct electricity. Hence his name, "Rai", meaning "lightning". He, his twin brother Shyny Inuzuma, and two twin sisters, were all born with the same birthmark which gives them the same power.

Bambi (bat character)

2012-09-12T10:39:21Z

Unclefester:

Bambi is a fruit bat character created by Joshua The Samurai for the online roleplay Bambi's Bamboo Bar Bambi is one of the more popular recurring bat characters, even though she prefers the term "Flying Fox" and is often addressed as "Foxy" by her friends. Currently Bambi is the star of the roleplay, and its most popular character.

Origins
Joshua admits he designed the character after Zoe Nix, a bat character created by Slippy for his Extinctioners fanfiction. Joshua liked Zoe, and when he began writing his own fanfiction, early stories included a more perky, and cheerful version of Zoe he named Bambi the Bat. She featured a fox-like appearance and was for an unknown reason, always wearing a kimono. After the brief appearance, the character drew attention, Joshua began drawing Bambi regularly, and then Carlito began creating his own fanart. Soon, Bambi became popular enough to spawn her own, independent storyline in the form of an online play-by-post roleplay.

Background
Bambi was born in Brick, New Jersey on 14 February 1979, though at the time of the roleplay she is 26 years of age. At age 18 Bambi ran off to New York city, where she lived with friends and worked as a model while attending culinary school. Much of her life in New York is a mystery, but it's known that she quit culinary school at age 20 and used the money she earned modeling (Apparently quite a sum) to buy a run down old steakhouse and turn it into her current business. She makes a fairly good living just from the furs that stop by to see her in a short-cut silk Kimono. She started dating her current boyfriend Lemon ReNero when he came into the bar every day working on his laptop. She asked him out on a dare from Anita (one of her waitresses) and years later the two's romance is still the center of the roleplay.

Personality and traits
A 3rd generation Brazilian, Bambi speaks fluent Portuguese and enjoys practicing capoeira as a hobby. She is infinitely cheerful, and tolerant of her gawking customers up to a point, but has enough attitude to stand up for herself. She loves to cook, and even though she isn't officially a cook at the restaurant, she invented the bamboo-based cuisine and wrote the recipes. She loves Hong Kong action films, and in the roleplay she had a serious crush on Carter Wong. Bambi favourite foods are Bamboo shoots, deep-fried plantains, and apples. She can almost always be spotted wearing a kimono; they have to specially tailored because of her wing membranes, along with all her clothes. He wings are one of her most sensitive areas, and she likes to have them rubbed, though she tickles easily. Bambi can fly using her wings, and often flies as an exercise at a local gym.

Contacting Bambi
To make the roleplay more immersive, Joshua the Samurai gave bambi a real, working e-mail: Bambibat@cheerful.com where she can be contacted with fanmail. At one point the bar had a website, but it was shut down. In a surreal moment, Bambi herself has submitted posts to her own online roleplay. Bambi appears to have an account on FurryMUCK, though she does not appear to be a regular visitor.

The kyton species is described as "a fox-like being that looks similar to a fennec". Typically the species have short light brown fur and range in height from 5' to 6' tall when standing.

Originally the kyton inhabited areas with desert climates but they have spread to other areas over time due to climate change. Currently kyton typically inhabit cities and live peacefully alongside other anthros.

History
The kyton are described as having been in a war against another species known as the melorn. The reasons behind this war are unknown as many of the historical documents regarding it have been lost over time. It is unknown as to whether or not the two species peacefully coexist in the present day.

The only known historical fact is that the kyton were previously known as the kelorn, suggesting that they have some distant ancestory relating them to their enemy, the melorn.

Mythology
It is believed that every few years 1 out of 5,000 kyton are born with an ability to foresee the future, however no living examples of this trait have been discovered yet.

Red XIII is a character from the video game Final Fantasy VII developed by the company Square Enix.

This version of the character was built by Beetlecat as a personal cosplay fursuit. He was her second full fursuit and her first attempt at a padded body and shaped digitigrade legs. Although based on the original video game character, this Red XIII costume has gradually developed a life and personality of its own.

Construction
Red is made with a high-quality 1 inch fur. The longer fur on his legs and back is 3 inch black fur mixed with 6 inch black. His mane and braids are real horsehair that has been wefted, glued, and then cut and styled. His eyes are handsculpted in a taxidermy 'glass eye' style as are his nose and tongue. His teeth are a handpainted taxidermy jawset with sculpted lips and his claws are based upon those of a black bear. The feathers are imitation eagle and have to be replaced often.

Red's footpaws were remade in a more realistic style with sculpted, raised pawpads. And his leg padding was redone to make his front profile slimmer.

Fursuiting and Conventions
Red attended Animethon 14 in 2007 and won Best Overall in the Journeyman division. He was also at the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo in April 2008 and attended Further Confusion 2009.

Future
Red was sold on eBay March 2009.

Plot summary
It is the year 2032: The efforts to reunify Hong Kong and the People's Republic while trying to maintain two separate ideological systems are unravelling the Chinese Government's dominance. The people themselves and the new economic powers are now demanding their say in China's future. Despite strict censorship and constant surveillance, a small but active underground hacker community is waiting for the right moment to turn the tables. Their curiosity is piqued when a 16 Terabyte encrypted memory stick is dropped in their lap on the same day that the CEO of Black Crescent Advantage, China's biggest investment company, kidnaps his own daughter and vanishes without a trace.

Trivia
* In one of the first scenes, actual fursuiters that where seated in the audience played a part in the show.
* All 4 original characters appeared in the chase scene after Cornelius broke in to his own apartment and was caught by the fire department.
* While loading the bar scene had the song from Transformers 3.
* Lionel and Lori appear in the virtual bar scene. Lionel gets himself in trouble center stage, Lori was drinking to the far right.
* Lionel was hitting on Wan Yun the female tiger with 2 very bad pickup lines: "Girl you must be Jamaican. ...Because you are makin' me crazy." and "Hey baby, let's play house, you can be the door and I'll slam you!"
* Null (the rabbit) said "Hello world. I always wanted to say that." Hello world is universally used to test output for a new programing project to see if things are working properly. New programs generally have graphical interface and show text.
* Null has various scenes inside his basement being shown on the screens. These where NOT prerecorded and was done live at the right of the stage behind curtains.
* The currency used in the bar was Lindens, referring to Linden Dollars used in second Life.
* The 'hack used' by Wan Yun on the bar keeper bot is an actual programming problem. When she subtracted the last person from the list to split the drinks with 2500 linden, it got divided by 0. As dividing by zero is impossible in mathematics, it normally crashes any program that was not written to cope with the exception.
* The last scene on the rooftop their was a companion cube on one of the buildings windows.
* In an ever excelling ambition this show had 3 qouddruppal puppets that are operated by 3 people each. Operated parts include 4 legs, tail, head, eyelids and mouth.
* The dragon was mounted on to the shoulders of 1 puppeteer with its head being operated from a rod and had electronics for moving mouth and eyelids.

Black Crescent Advantage usb stick
Sponsors and super sponsers on the conference got a special USB stick from Black Crescent Advantage. Using the password used in the show by Null the rabbit, it can be watched. The archive has a header looking like the ones you see on warez and the decrypted archive has a Linux directory structure.
The password for the archive is the same as in the show: "Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown!"

The stick played a role in the storyline as being the contents of BCA's root servers, in real life the stick contained:

* Concept art for several puppets
* Movies of rehearsals
* The PPS script
* Poetry
* Pictures used during the show (like the login icon for Void)
* Screenshots of forum posts made by some staffers
* Video animations used during the show (like the heartbeat monitor and the Windows 19 loading screen)
* Wallpapers of the Standees and Convention Banners
