In late 2023, JustMeeped founded NovaSlicers, a virtual punk and metal band that quickly gained popularity in the VRChat community for its high energy performances. Originally a solo project, the band soon expanded to include JohnieCanine on bass and vocals, Maximus_bean as lead guitarist, and Mskittyears on rhythm guitar.

JustMeeped, formerly known online as Ukxoid, later rebranded under the name JustMeeped as part of his evolving online identity and music career.

He was previously known for using a Papagen fursona before later transitioning to a NovaBeast fursona as part of his updated identity and visual branding.

Known for his intense drumming and energetic stage presence, JustMeeped has built a strong reputation in the virtual music scene. His hard-hitting beats and live performances have become defining elements of NovaSlicers' sound.

On November 16, 2023, JustMeeped released his debut single, Death Note, through his independent label, JustMeeped Record Label. The track featured JohnieCanine on bass and vocals.

Following the departure of JohnieCanine from NovaSlicers, Death Note was later removed from streaming platforms and is no longer officially available.

On March 15, 2026, JustMeeped released Lonely Night, continuing his work as an independent musician and virtual performer.

Beyond his original music, JustMeeped is also recognized for his covers. His rendition of Helter Skelter by The Beatles pays tribute to the original’s legendary closing line, "I got blisters on my fingers!"

NovaChasers, stylized in all caps and formerly NovaSlicers, is a virtual pop (formerly metal/punk) furry band.

Overview
The band originated as a solo project by JustMeeped in late 2023, who teamed up later on with JohnieCanine, a versatile bassist and vocalist. Their initial collaboration led to the release of their debut track, Death Note, in October 2023. A party remix variant of Death Note by JustMeeped was released in June 2024.

Recognizing their creative synergy, JohnieCanine took on the role of co-owner, lead vocalist, and bassist of the band. Together, they expanded the band's lineup by recruiting three talented guitarists: Mskittyears, NickieMayz, and SpiralMusic1997.

All band members collaborate musically long-distance from each other within the worlds of VRChat, which set NovaSlicers professionally and artistically apart from any other bands online.

On June 9, 2025, the last day of Furality Somna, rhythm guitarist SpiralMusic1997 retired from the band to focus on his solo career. Two days later, on June 11, the band announced the immediate termination of lead guitarist NickieMayz from the band in the wake of him being outed for pedophilia and sexual manipulation. Maximus_bean, a friend of Kitty's, has since taken the place of both.

On August 12, 2025, co-owner and lead singer JohnieCanine was fired for alleged mental abuse of power upon his bandmates; Kitty has since taken over as lead vocalist for the band, and with JustMeeped taking a hiatus for personal reasons, this necessitated a new lineup (with a new bassist and drummer to join Kitty and Maxi) and a more pop-oriented direction.

On September 25, 2025, NovaSlicers revealed the beginning of their rebranding as a pop band, changing their name to NovaChasers. JustMeeped has initially stuck around for a bit longer, until two months later on November 25, when he decided to retire from music altogether to focus on personal matters.

Musical style and influence
As NovaSlicers, they blended punk and metal elements, characterized by high-energy performances and a distinctive virtual presence.

Since rebranding to NovaChasers, they have eschewed the heavier elements in favor of a more melodic, groove-based sound, blending Kitty's vocals with Maxi's guitar playing.

NovaSlicers is a virtual metal/punk furry band. Founded by its drummer Ukxoid, the band is led by frontman JohnieCanine.

Overview
The band originated as a solo project by Ukxoid, the drummer, in late 2023, teamed up later on with JohnieCanine, a versatile bassist and vocalist. Their initial collaboration led to the release of their debut track, Death Note, in October 2023. A party remix variant of Death Note by Ukxoid was released in June 2024.

Recognizing their creative synergy, JohnieCanine took on the role of co-owner, lead vocalist, and bassist of the band. Together, they expanded the band's lineup by recruiting three talented guitarists: MsKittyEars, NickieMayz and SpiralMusic1997.

All band members collaborate musically long-distance from each other within the worlds of VRChat, which sets NovaSlicers professionally and artistically apart from any other bands online.
