:We do not normally protect pages unless vandalism becomes unmanageable, or a "time-out" is needed between editors. I can understand the copyright violation, but 'there is agreement that the work was used'? Unless I am understanding you wrong, there was no agreement - you stated that yourself. If I were to upload these again under a different usage, would they be removed again?

:Nobody disagrees that Tuqiri used Vailwolf's work in the art show - just whether or not it was "fair use" to do so. Therefore, there is little justification for using copyrighted works to show this, especially against the wishes of ''both'' copyright holders.

A pal of mine, Aatheus, showed me a picture of me and a fellow CATS cosplayer that is on the various Wikis in the Furry sections. Fantastic to be seen, but oh gosh, can we somehow find a more.. er... flattering image? I can't say that makeup was one of my best now is the wig any good. Is there a way to prevent editing of a userpage?

:[[WikiFur:Administrators|Administrators]] can do lots of things - though page protection is usually a last resort. If there's clearly an ongoing problem, other will step in. Note that you have the ability to watch pages, and to be emailed when an edit is made to them.
:Bear in mind that like most public wikis, WikiFur is open to all editors. While user pages will generally be left to the user concerned, if the information on them appears particularly one-sided, others may be inclined to edit them. Just a quick note, because I've noticed it before but not gotten around to asking you about it... Is it possible to get the tagline to WikiLurv changed on the int'l portal for grammar reasons? "Den lurviga encyklopedin", would probably be the best translation of WikiFur's "the furry encyclopedia". Either that or "Den svenska furryencyklopedin" ("The swedish furry encyclopedia" - the former implies that the wiki itself is covered in fur, the latter that it's a furry-related encyclopedia; I'm not sure which WikiFur's tagline is supposed to imply); I'm not married to either translation, just want the grammar straightened out. I don't have an LJ, so I figured this would be the place to ask for it. If it's not an inconvenience, going from "Twilight-wolf" to just "Twilight" would help lots. I've checked around the site, there doesn't seem to be a user with that name, if it's available, I'll take it. If not, I'll come up with something else.

There isn't a last name attached to that.", but Twilight's February 2008 edit uses "Twilight" and "Twilight Wolf", and his FA User Page says "Twilight Steel". Twilight Wolf is a male furry artist best known for his 3D design and animation.
Formerly a Wolf, Twilight is now a Lynx. But decided to keep the name intact, for a hint of spice.
Some of his more popular works are the Super Smash Bros Brawl themed [http://data.furaffinity.net/art/twilight/1201721213.twilight_newchalme.jpg "New Challenger Approaching" ] bonus images included free of charge with his commissions, prior to the release of the actual game.

Currently attends the Furryweekend Atlanta, Anthrocon and Midwest Furfest cons.

== The Name ==
It's Twilight, and Twilight alone. There isn't a last name attached to that. occasionally "wolf" or "the wolf" is adhered to it for classification purposes. Twilight came to that decision after months of trying to come up with a last name, failing miserably at his task.
It was originally chosen due to the artist's strong connection with twilight symbolism in various mythologies and tales. As well as being the preferred time of day in any occasion. There is a faint running gag, in which some people have chosen to believe the name to have been dubbed onto the artist because of being a constant daydreamer, off into twilight zone all the time.

== The Artist ==
For personal security issues (not criminal wise, just personal.... with family and stuff...) Twilight has chosen not to reveal his full name. He's willing to share it in private instances but not publicly.
Twilight originally started out as a Sonic fanartist. working with 3D graphics for the most part. as of 2006 he started exploring other territories. ranging from 3D to 2D, traditional and digital. as well as animation. His art style has broken off from the Sonic the Hedgehog style, and he now suffers from a fictional disease called ISIS, or Impulsive Style Inconsistence Syndrome. It basicly means he can imitate just about any art style, unfortunately, he can't control it. As of late, all his sketches appear to be done by different people...
Twilight has been to FWA and AC 07, and might pop up at MFF as well.
