The quarterly magazine published its first issue in January 2007, and its eighth and final issue in November 2008.

Head editor [[Fox Cutter]] began the magazine as an outlet for [[anthropomorphic]] stories, both of the type familiar to the [[furry fandom]] as well as other usages of anthropomorphic angles in genres beyond the furry subculture.

The magazine distinguished itself by paying all contributors to the publication, both the authors and the artists. Authors were paid at one cent per word, and all art was purchased on commission. Yearly subscriptions were made available.

''Renard's Menagerie'' was published as a trade paperback with a full color cover and black and white illustrations inside. Printing was done though the print-on-demand service [[Wikipedia:Lulu.com|Lulu.com]], allowing back issues to continue to be available. Each issue can be ordered from the magazine's web site.

Thanks for catching that one. In that sort of situation (multiple page blanking or simple vandalism) you can add "&bot=1" to the URL of the user's contribution page and then reload the page with that URL. I would like to discuss deleting redirects. As deleted articles are still saved in the database, there is no need to do it to save disk space. In most cases there's no need to delete them. There are two primary channels on the network:

[[Image:Cover 01 Full.jpg|right|thumb|The cover of first issue of ''Renard's Menagerie'' dated January 2007]]'''''Renard's Menagerie: The Journal of Anthropomorphic Fiction''''' is a [[small press]] literary magazine that was founded in early 2006. The quarterly magazine published its first issue in January 2007.

Head editor [[Fox Cutter]] began the magazine as an outlet for [[anthropomorphic]] stories, both of the type familiar to the [[furry fandom]] as well as other usages of anthropomorphic angles in genres beyond the furry subculture.

The magazine distinguishes itself by paying all contributors to the publication, both the authors and the artists. Authors are paid at one cent per a word, and all art is purchased on commission.

The first issue will be published in January of 2007, featuring both original fiction and art. The issue can be preordered from the magazine's web site. Subscriptions will be offered in the near future.

Published as a trade paperback, with a full color cover and black and white illustrations inside, ''Renard's Menagerie'' strives for the highest quality it can. Printing is done though the print on demand service [[Wikipedia:Lulu.com|Lulu.com]], allowing back issues to be available even as new issues are published.
