Zaro Wolf also known as Thunderhowl or Skye Cabbit (born February 15) is a fursuiter and fursuit maker who lives in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. She is the founder and owner of the fursuit studio Thunderhowl Studios. Her character is a cabbit - half cat, half rabbit - and features a sensitive moving jaw and big follow-me eyes. Her short stature and big eyes make it easy to capture hearts mostly through social media, though she still attends conventions within the United States. Though Zaro wolf is her first fursona, most know her as Skye Cabbit. Skye embodies all of Zaro's positive energy and optimism, and none of the negativity, pessimism or anxiety.

Fandom involvement
Fursuiting
Zaro's original fursona is a black and white wolf with blue lightning bolt patterns. This character was her first character, when she joined the fandom in 2014. The suit was made into a partial fursuit in 2014 for a local furmeet. The suit was her first attempt at making a fursuit. Needless to say it didn't look great, nor did it withstand any wear and tear. A second version of Zaro was made on a Dreamvisioncreations Resin base head shortly after, which lasted much longer.
This resin base head was later repaired and sold as Atlas the Arctic wolf by Redstorm Fursuits.

At Further Confusion 2017, Zaro debuted a new full fursuit, a blue cabbit character named Skye who owns and wears Skye, the blue cabbit fullsuit. From this moment on, Skye Cabbit became a phenomenon. She began making fursuiting short videos and GIFs which grew in popularity. People began to recognize the "excited" GIF or "table flip" GIF through Telegram as it spread like wildfire.fact

As of August 2018, Skye Cabbit makes occasional YouTube videos and GIFs. She has also created a Patreon account and started running Thunderhowl Studios Full time.

Before Thunderhowl
Skye originally worked for Redstorm Fursuits. However, in September 2018 Skye left Redstorm to work full-time for her own personal company, Thunderhowl Studios. When Thunderhowl started in 2014, it was mainly for art production and sale through Skye Cabbit. Kitkat Cabbit, maintained ownership of Redstorm Fursuits, ended up making his own new fursuit business as well called Furever Studios. After the split from Redstorm fursuits, Skye picked up Thunderhowl and made it into an LLC, then started making suits under that name and brand.

History
Skye and Kitkat cabbits originally founded Redstorm Fursuits in 2016 while they were living in Prescott, AZ. During this time frame, Kitkat stayed home and Skye worked full time at a small local grocery store. Later after moving to Show Low Arizona, The two began fighting due to Kitkat wanting to start dating Skye, but she refused due to their age differences. There were also other frustrations such as Kitkat playing Battlefield on his pc for weeks on end while Skye made fursuits in a separate work studio. Arguments broke out constantly and Kitkat began to feel pressure to work on suits from skye, while Skye felt that he wasn't putting as much work into Redstorm Fursuits as she was, and confronted him about it. Kitkat's response was to lash out with anger, yell at anyone who interrupted his gameplay and occasionally punch holes in the wall or toss scissors or other tools across his room. He would tell Skye that she cannot leave the home OR start her own business because he could tell anyone in the fandom that she's a pedophile and they'd believe it. Obviously this was proven true with the recent harassment. He is a very manipulative person and locked Skye in her own room multiple times, standing at her door on the inside or sometimes outside preventing her from exiting. He would hold Skye within her own room, and prevent her from moving so she had to listen to him talk. Holding someone prisoner within their own home is considered a misdemeanor and should not be taken lightly. On a few occasions he would slap Skye's face to stop her from arguing back or to stop her from talking. He regularly took her phone and would go through all her messages, telling her who she could and who she couldn't speak to. He would eavesdrop anytime she spoke to her parents on the phone and would comment about her discussion with them, saying she shouldn't have "talked about that" because its "not their business". Skye's health rapidly declined in 2017 because she had been developing Ulcerative colitis over the years and her doctors hadn't figured it out yet. Ulcerative colitis is a condition that worsens with severe stress. During summer 2017, Skye's health issues reached an all time high. She had a fever of 101 for three weeks straight, persistent nausea that vomiting would not ease, plus she had no appetite whatsoever. She lost 20lbs and went from 115lbs to 95lbs. The lightest She's been since she was 13.

He's fooling so many people by trashing Other people's reputations. Wish them luck choosing to be by his side. He knew his power long long ago, and will only get arrogant and continue his charades.
Quote from Skye: "If he was truly in danger, Kets could've said something to his family or police at ANY time. While I was living there with his family, his sister was raped by a neighboring adult and we all had NO idea. Kitkat HAD all the resources, the police are very good at protecting the kids in danger. If he had a problem with ME, I would've left in a heartbeat. that's the problem though, He thwarted all my attempts to leave until 2018, he finally seemed to ease up to the idea." Skye was Accused of pedophilia and Grooming on May 13th 2022 by Kitkat cabbit, despite his "cancel" team knowing the definition of "Pedophile" or "grooming". Kitkat Cabbit lied about his age while he was between 16-18 so that he could sneak into parties with alcohol and go to conventions without being labeled a "minor".

Thunderhowl Studios or Thunderhowl Studios LLC is a fursuit making company started by Skye Cabbit back in 2015. Registered in 2017. Currently run by Skye Cabbit.
Skye Cabbit began working for Thunderhowl Studios full time in September 2018 after leaving Redstorm Fursuits LLC. Aiko Wolf Began working full time with Thunderhowl in August 2019 after leaving his full time desk job. The Two continued to work together until April 2022, when the two decided to mutually end their relationship and help each other down the line. Aiko Wolf pursued a new full time job elsewhere and Skye Cabbit will remain the sole owner/creator at Thunderhowl Studios.

Thunderhowl Studios' heads feature in lightweight breathable heads, follow me eyes and a foam moving jaw. Certain aspects of the suits are laser cut or 3d printed for precision and consistency. Yet Each suit has it's own unique 'look' or appearance due to each one being hand shaped in the creation process.
Thunderhowl's signature style can be seen in Skye's own suit which has become her signature example for advertising. As of September 2018, Thunderhowl now offers Full plantigrade and digigrade options for commissioners.

Thunderhowl Studios' commissions remain closed but open roughly once a year for about a week at a time. During that week, those interested in commissioning them can apply. Once the application closes, for the week after, Thunderhowl will go through the applications and select 2-15 feasible character designs. Selection is based on if the design is clearly presented and achievable by the team.

Thunderhowl Studios is a Fursuit/costume making company which means we only work with faux fur materials.
Thunderhowl costumes are lightweight and hollow and built for performance. Our heads average 2lbs or less even with larger ears. They're also incredibly durable, flexible and waterproof (unless you add LED's).

Our suits are ideal for long duration costuming or for performing while in costume. We offer the option of LED's in the eyes, or even a fan built in.

Our Costume heads feature follow-me eyes and moving jaws. No resin or heavy interior needed to have these effects. Heads are made with various foam types and a magnetic mouth hinge.
Bodysuits are made with Zip-on feet for digigrade suits and a zip-on tail option for most tails. These Zip-on features allows for easy cleaning and seamless appearance.

History
When Thunderhowl Studios first started in 2014, it was solely for art production and sale through Skye Cabbit. At the time she was working on fursuits under Redstorm Fursuits LLC. Skye Cabbit moved from show low to phoenix in March 2018. She intended to still work remotely for Redstormfursuits. This lasted until around October 2018 when she decided to leave Redstorm Fursuits and began doing fursuits on her own for Thunderhowl studios.

Kitkat Cabbit who was 19 at the time, took over Redstorm Fursuits and its money($5345) after Skye Cabbit left the business. Because there was still owed commissions, Kitkat made an agreement with Zaro to pay her $500 from the business account in exchange for her completing a full digigrade fursuit(plus head, paws, tail and feet) FOR Redstorm (to try and help finish owed commissions). Source can be found here. During this split where Skye left Redstorm Fursuits, there was one immediate refund from an artistic freedom otter named "Simon" for $2200 (which was our fullsuit price at the time). Kitkat paid that with the money left over in the business account. The 'split' also involved an agreement where Zaro would take half of the fur and Kitkat would keep half. A few months later, Skye Cabbit finished "Jack Cabbit" on October 6th, 2018 and sent it out to the client. Upon requesting payment from Kitkat Cabbit, he mentioned he didn't have the money and couldn't pay her. He requested that she wait until he is able to sell a premade. Skye agreed and started working on her first "Thunderhowl" suit instead of more Redstorm suits. She had to somehow make money in time for rent (rent was $600, which was slightly overdue already). The premade made by kitkat, was announced on October 13th with an image of a character design. A Cabbit that sported the same Blue and white colors that skye has. At this point in time, Kitkat and Skye were the ONLY two cabbits. By this time, no other cabbits had been made by either Kitkat or skye. This premade cabbit instantly infuriated Skye and lots of people within the fandom who noticed it looked very much like her in design. There was lots of backlash from the community and frustration expressed from skye regarding this suit's design. Kitkat seemed really defensive about the design, even though He had countless different colors he could've chosen to use for the premade. After expressing frustration, Zaro assumed that the blue that he would use for the suit would be much brighter in the final premade than skye's blue since the art shows a brighter blue. Upon assuming this, she encouraged Kitkat to continue with working on the suit.

October 15th rolls around and Kitkat posts Photos of the premade. The premade was made using the same exact colors of fur that skye was made with. Skye Cabbit feels backstabbed, mocked, and dms Kitkat requesting a bigger change on the premade suit. Days pass, lots of arguing, he gets defensive, loads of people notice whats going on and comment on the post. Kitkat gets fed up and agrees to add a black dot on the nose bridge between the eyes. Skye is satisfied with this change and tries to get everyone to leave him alone about it. At this point, Kitkat likely feels that Skye is being overly picky and sent all these people after him. He seems to have blamed Skye for the failure of this suit to sell for decent money. He makes the changes and ends up selling the suit to a close friend of his in colorado for $900. All this could've been avoided had Kitkat remotely mentioned this design to Zaro before deciding to make an almost exact copy as a premade.

After the sale, Kitkat outright refused to pay Zaro for "Jack cabbit"'s completion after selling his blue premade cabbit. To this day Zaro has never been paid for completing "jack cabbit", but can confirm that Kitkat received $2200 usd from that client for the fullsuit. Due to Zaro not being able to pay rent for the next month because Kets didn't pay her, she decided not to work on any more Redstorm fursuit commissions until the $500 for Jack was paid.

Since Zaro/Skye was never paid for jack, she never finished any more commissions for redstorm.
Shortly after this premade stuff happened in october, November rolls around and a second commissioner "Kai" of Redstorm hears from "Jack Cabbit" about Skye not being paid for her work and reached out to her. He expressed concern about the bodysuit-only commission that he already paid Redstorm for. Zaro/Skye told "Kai" that she wouldn't be working on any more Redstorm suits until she receives that $500 from Kitkat for that first suit she did for Redstorm.
Kai then decided he wanted to get a refund of their $1250 from Kitkat and commission Zaro/Skye instead. Kitkat and his friend Frouzon brought up how awful it was of Skye to allow this chargeback to happen to him (Kitkat). But it really seemed like a series of events that could have been avoided by Kets/Kitkat fulfilling his side of the agreement made. At the time he was attending conventions regularly and conventions are expensive. Skye made a deal with Kitkat and if he couldn't pull his end of what was a very "CHEAP" price for completion of a full digigrade suit (at $500), then at that point it's not any particular person's fault. Kitkat ended up losing access to the Paypal account during 2019 at some point because he didn't file taxes for the year of 2018. Skye completed Kai's bodysuit commission within 3 days and shipped it out Wednesday November 7th, 2018. (Verified by time stamp on this image's properties)

Kitkat Cabbit has since decided to start his own business called Furever Studios. Both Skye and Kitkat started their own businesses near the end of 2018 using the same fursuit making methods and head shape patterns that were originally designed by Skye back in the Redstorm Fursuits days. Both cabbits edited their cabbit patterns slightly and ended up with slightly different looking cabbits built with the same inner structure. The inner structure idea was originally pitched to us by Furry machine, however it wasn't copied from them. The concept itself was taught to us, and through some experimentation, the patterns were created in making Skye Version 1. After the split and the frustrations that occurred in oct-nov 2018, Kitkat tried to tell Zaro/Skye that she cannot use the same methods for making suit heads as he does, NOR can she use the same patterns that SHE designed for the cabbit heads. He wanted Exclusive rights to the patterns and methods. Skye firmly said no since she originally came up with the patterns. Over time, even if we start with the same patterns, they will shift slightly over and over until eventually we'll have two entirely different sets of patterns.

Thunderhowl is Currently run by Skye Cabbit.
Skye Cabbit began working for Thunderhowl Studios in August 2018 after leaving Redstorm Fursuits LLC. Aiko Wolf Began working full time with Thunderhowl in August 2019 after leaving his full time desk job. The Two continued to work together until April 2022, when the two decided to mutually end their relationship and pursue different things. Aiko Wolf pursued a new full time job elsewhere and Skye Cabbit will remain the sole owner/creator at Thunderhowl Studios. When the split happened, Thunderhowl was in a dire spot. The emotional tension between the two had been high for over six months, causing emotional fatigue on both of the owners. Thunderhowl though, remains optimistic through the storm and vows to never give up. Quote: "we are always at our sharpest and work hardest through a storm". Both Skye Cabbit and Aiko Wolf will continue helping one another with select projects gradually until assistance is no longer needed.

If he had a problem with ME, I would've left in a heartbeat. that's the problem though, He thwarted all my attempts to leave until 2018, he finally seemed to ease up to the idea." Kitkat Cabbit lied about his age while he was between 16-18 so that he could sneak into parties with alcohol and go to conventions without being labeled a "minor".

Retrieved May 4, 2017.</ref> and attends various conventions across the United States. He is the creator and owner of Furever Studios fursuits. Their fursuits are built lightweight and breathable!

Fandom involvement
Kitkat is a fursuit maker. He started making suits in 2014 and is a founder (and, as of August 2018, the only member) of Redstorm Fursuits. They make many different types of suits, though they specialize in making heads with moving jaws.

Fursuit
Kitkat's fursuit is a red and white cabbit (cat-rabbit hybrid) fullsuit. The head, paws, feet, and tail of the suit were made by Furry Machine (a Brazil-based suit maker), and the bodysuit was made by Redstorm Fursuits.

The suit was originally made for Eclipsen, who had the suit for the first few years of its existence. Furry Machine and Eclipsen ended up selling the suit with plans of making a new version of it eventually. Eclipsen's character has a darker red fur (more maroon) and a darker cream fur than Kitkat. Both Eclipsen and Kitkat are okay with having an "almost" twin out there somewhere. Kitkat's differences include two lines on his tail instead of one, a shorter mane down the spine, and lighter fur colors, although these marking differences only show up on art and not the suits.

Kitkat Cabbit, who took over Redstorm Fursuits at the time, has since decided to start his own business called Furever Studios. Now both cabbits make suits with their own companies made similarly to one another in structure lightness and comfort.

Redstorm Fursuits is a fursuit maker based out of Arizona. They specialize in making heads out of foam with moving jaws. Their felines are what they're known mostly for, though they've done dragons, Dutch Angel Dragons, canines, sergals, and much more.

The suit-making team of Redstorm consists of Zaro Wolf and Kets Vulpes (who now goes by Kitkat Cabbit), they are both fursuiters and sport their iconic Red and Blue cabbit duo. Redstorm Fursuits opens for suit commissions a couple times a year and typically completes them within a span of 4-8 months. They also do premades about once a month and sell those online.

Their work has had a huge variety of style, using bases purchased from different makers (mostly Dreamvision Creations), ordered online (Runaway Would, Water Dog Wharf).
Redstorm Fursuits' custom foam bases are hollow and lightweight, but flexible.

History
Redstorm Fursuits started in Tampa, Florida in 2014 when both makers made their first heads separately from one another. They combined forces and moved to Arizona to continue making suits. The name Redstorm Fursuits comes from a combination of their original fursona characters. Zaro's character was storm or thunder related and Kets's sona had various shades of red. As of January 2017, they've made over 18 fursuit heads. As of May 2017, they've made 9 more, with 8 of those having a moving jaw.

Thunderhowl: summary of Skye the cabbit and origin

Skye Cabbit is an Aqua blue cabbit fullsuit and character owned by Zaro wolf who lives in Arizona. The suit was made entirely by Zaro wolf and Redstorm Fursuits and completed January 2017. The suit and character was made to be a duo with Kitkat Cabbit who looks similar and lives with Zaro wolf. Skye's head was the first big-cat head to be made by Redstormfursuits. Their style has since improved drastically. Skye Cabbit is a rather short fursuiter at 5'2" and tends to flaunt her tiny size. Skye is very outgoing and loves all hugs, nuzzles and photos. Expect to see this floof at Arizona furmeets and conventions.

Zaro Wolf is a fursuiter and fursuit maker who owns and wears Skye, the blue cabbit fullsuit. Her original fursona is a black and white wolf with tons of blue lightning bolts across her body. She made this into a partial fursuit back in 2014 and has since retired her when the resin jaw snapped in two.

In 2017, she unveiled her new fullsuit of Skye the blue cabbit at Further confusion in January. The digigrade fullsuit was made entirely by Zaro wolf as a part of Redstorm Fursuits. The head of the suit was the first big-cat that Redstorm fursuits has ever attempted. Still ended up very cute!

Zaro Wolf works with Redstormfursuits making fursuits since it was founded in 2014. Her main focus is on improving and furthering the fursuit making business, and hopefully starting to vendor at furcons starting 2018. For Redstormfursuits she makes suits, does all social network advertising and most of customer service communications. She works with Kitkat Cabbit in the fursuit making business. She sometimes makes suits without the help of redstorm. She aims to make her original fursona again as a fullsuit eventually.

Zaro Wolf is also a digital artist whose signature is Thunderhowl Studios. She does a variety of artwork though its mostly badges and reference sheets.

The suit was originally for the character Eclipsen, who had the suit for the first few years of it's existence. Though furry machine and Eclipsen ended up selling the suit with plans of making a new version of it eventually. The character Eclipsen has a darker red fur (more maroon) and a darker cream fur than the character kitkat. Though the markings appear to be the same on both characters. Both Eclipsen and Kitkat are okay with having an "almost" twin out there somewhere. Kitkat's differences include two lines on his tail instead of one, a shorter mane down the spine and lighter fur colors. Though these marking differences only show up on art and not the suit.

Redstormfursuits opens for suit commissions a couple times a year and typically completes them within a span of 4-8 months. They also do premades about once a month and sell those online.

Redstorm Fursuits started in Tampa, Florida in 2014 when both makers made their first heads separately from one another. They combined forces and moved to Arizona to continue making suits. The name redstormfursuits comes from a combination of their original fursona characters. Zaro's character was storm or thunder related and Kets's sona had various shades of red. As of Jan 2017, they've made over 18 fursuit heads. As of May 2017, they've made 9 more, with 8 of those having a moving jaw.

Their work has had a huge variety of style, using bases purchased from different makers (mostly Dreamvisioncreations), ordered online (runaway workshop, water dog wharf).
Redstorm Fursuits' custom foam bases are hollow and lightweight, but flexible.
