FANG, the Little Black Book of Furry Fiction, is a serialized paperback publication dedicated to bundling high quality furry fiction in theme-based anthologies. Edited by Alex "Osfer" Vance at Osfer's Joint.

The unique features of FANG are:
* a complete absence of artwork as a result of its dedication to imagination over imagery
* the trade paperback format, with the discrete and instantly recognisable black cover
* the fact that submissions will be accepted regardless of the story's previous publication history

Volumes are numbered and receive an extra letter-code at the end to indicate its genre.
PafCon (the Plushies and Furries Convention) is a fictional furry convention located in Las Vegas, Nevada, portrayed in CBS program CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode Fur and Loathing.

Although PafCon is not a real convention, some in the fandom have created PafCon convention shirts, which can be spotted at actual furry conventions. Supposedly two versions of these shirts are in existence: one mocking the CSI episode itself, and another one that looks like an authentic convention t-shirt.

Did you know? According to Bob Pitt's calendar, PafCon took place from 29 October - 1 November 2003. The same calendar noted a television program ("Marsupial Madness") on 17 October (at 8PM on channel 26), as well as mention of a virus scan and the dreaded TPS forms.
<div style="clear:both"/>
By this logic it is perfectly consistent to be intolerant of INTOLERANCE (physical violence, bigotry), responding in kind to the offending party.I think the "Should I tolerate the intolerant?" paradox is the answer. However it seems you /b/tards are too stupid to see it.

Most conventions have at least two levels of membership for the average convention attendee. A basic membership typically provides an attendee with access to the convention, a badge, and a program book. A sponsorship includes a basic membership plus other benefits. The cost of a sponsorship is usually broken into three parts: the cost of the basic membership, the cost of any benefits, and a donation to the convention.

Some conventions offer multiple levels of sponsorship, with greater benefits (and a larger donation) accompanying each successive level. Sponsor benefits can include a t-shirt, prints from the guest of honor, or being invited to a special luncheon. The exact benefits depend on what level of sponsorship the attendee has purchased.

Sponsor benefits change from year to year for each convention, but the following is a snapshot of typical sponsor benefits at various furry conventions:
But point being it's time for the city to actually have a racial balance and not see all the racial divide we had before the storm, and alot of the racial divide was caused by poor ignorant blacks, if you think I am wrong, then you should really be in my shoes for a day and see how real racism feels like from both blacks and whites. LSU your not worth my time cause you feed on causing conflict on here.It is pulblished research from LSU,did you graduate from there?And it wasn't that he didn't believe whites were not devils,but they were raised that way(eg.you).his belief became that all men are good at heart.Just to clairify the cia and fbi killed malcolm little.more propaganda to make us believe we hate ourself.same concept that was being used in New Olreans and it was working.This is the GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY to CHANGE(ENHANCE) NEW ORLEANS FOR THE BETTER. With so much federal aid pouring into the city for reconstruction, the city will probably never have an opportunity such as this to enhance what is good about this city instead of bringing back what is bad or dragging this city down. I know a lot of people will take what i'm saying as a racial issue but DEEP INSIDE they will admit that CHANGE is needed. The SOUTH has been a dumping ground for poverty. Welfare, social security,food stamps and many other programs were created to help PEOPLE in NEED, UNTIL THEY COULD GET BACK ON THEIR FEET. Instead it has CREATED GENERATIONS OF PEOPLE WHO PASS DOWN INGENIOUS WAYS TO USE THE SYSTEM AS A WAY TO GET THE MOST and FROM GIVING THE LESS. I've been to section 8 housing where the apartment is leased to a single mother with multiple children (most from multiple fathers). The mother pays pennies on the dollar for rent,recieves food stamps, recieves social security for one or all of her children, and to supplement her income she allows a SPERM DONOR to stay with her and pay a few bills. The SPERM DONOR in turn makes out like a fat rat because he stays there virtually free(somebody has to buy the liquior), so he can afford to drive a vehicle that cost as much as many peoples homes. The USELESS TO SOCIETY SPERM DONOR can also wear clothing that cost a small fortune so he can flash his BLING BLING to attract more DISADVANTAGED MOTHERS with promises of BULLSH-- for additional places of residence when he wears out his welcome. I agree that New orleans culture must remain intact as well as it's unique multi-racial population. But let's BREAK THE CYCLE OF GOVERMENT DEPENDANCY, SO NEW ORLEANS CAN BE KNOWN FOR ALL THE THINGS THAT MAKE THIS CITY GREAT. We have the opportunity to rebuild the school system from the ground up, so our children can recieve a quality education to break the chain of goverment dependancy and poverty. None of this can happen overnight,but with a look to the future our city can be known for greater things than the murder capital of the country (sure has been good not hearing on the news about multiple killing in the city).BREAK THE POVERTY CYCLE!! LET'S NOT ALLOW THE CESSPOOL TO FESTER ANY LONGER. MAKE EVERONE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR SHARE OF GOVERMENT ASSISTANCE, WHERE DOES IT END? HOW ABOUT NOW!!!WELL Stated my behind,if you check statitics you would know that is false,read statement 431-2and2-1.we are not the majority recieving federal aid,we are the working poor,work in your own hotels and resturants for slave wages and see how you feel.We have well educated people who cant get decent salaries in new orleans,because of descrimination and thats why most educated blacks leave.Those that get the minimum wage turn to drug activity because of better profit,not because they dont want to work,open your eyes people.now we can't even get the jobs to rebuild the city.How many of you have your hand out for FEMA and red cross and recieved no damage and has income in banking accounts,I wonder?
