I copied Wikipedia:Template:Infobox Webcomic to Template:Infobox webcomic because I thought having webcomic infoboxes (such as the one at Wikipedia:Aozora) would be nice. The template partially works (example at User:EarthFurst). I'm guessing the rest of that template doesn't work because WikiFur doesn't have Template:If ? A few quick questions about it?,... Where is the template itself at?, Is there a way to truncate long URLs without breaking them?, How can the Rating icon be centered, instead of being stuck on the right side of the box?, Why is "genres" highlighted, and where does lead?, I get a " (quote) symbol on the articles with the infobox, have you experienced that yourself?, "Caption," is that like "Motto"?, "Launch (d)ate"/"End (D)ate", both upper or both lower?, "Rating(s)", shouldn't it be "Rating"?
:Spirou asked "How can the Rating icon be centered, instead of being stuck on the right side of the box?"
:Spirou asked "I get a " (quote) symbol on the articles with the infobox, have you experienced that yourself?"
A recent change to the template by Splarka seems to have fixed that problem. --EarthFurst 04:45, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
:::Uh... copyright infringement? How exactly would creating a mockup of the Westin or David L. Lawrence Convention Center on SL be infringing on anyone's copyright?
:::Also, as for "authorization", that's a non-issue. It's an unofficial project, and we have no direct involvement with it. We have no problems with it (or any other unofficial project, either. The only thing we ask is that our logo not be used, as it is not a registered Service Mark, and that the project not portray itself as being an official part of Anthrocon.) --Douglas Muth 15:25, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

How many furs go to Anthrocon? Well, in 2006 over 2000 furs appeared at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center for AC. Well then, how many furs do you think wanted to go to AC that year? Probably several times that amount. And that is where AC in SL comes in

What is AC in SL?
AC in SL stands for AnthroCon in Second Life. The premise of it is that many furs would love to go to Anthrocon, but only a few can, so it (AC in SL) was created to try and replicate the feel of Anthrocon for those who can not go.

Background
AC in SL started August of 2006. The Idea was first brought to the public in a small thread entitled 'AC Meet up in SL?'. And from there it has grown from an Idea to a want, to what is now an actual project that is in the works. There is currently only one active group (AC in SL Work Crew, found on SL), with a total of 12 members. Discussions on what to do goes on between the board members daily. This is what is currently on the list:

*Recruit more members (continuous effect)
*Create a fully functional Board
*Advertise for AC in SL (continuous effect)
*Begin process of building for AC in SL
*Begin process of graphic designing (create textures)
*Buy mature rated sim
*Place prims and textures accordingly
*Create scripts
*Place scripts accordingly
*Section off Rooms
*Set prim limits on each room
*Create a pricing for each room
*Remove any excess prims and scripts
*Open Ac in SL to the public, free of charge! (no date has been scheduled)

Help Wanted
As you may have noticed, AC in SL is a massive project. There by a large number of workers are needed to help complete it. And do to the very nature of the project - and to keep the Board from having to charge furs to enter it - any work done for it is free. Currently there are opening in two different job classifications. Normal and Board.
Normal includes the following:
*Builders
*Scriptures
*Graphic Designers
*Advertisers (by word of mouth)
To apply or inquire further about these duties, please either Email Theyain at Theyain_Riyu@yahoo.com or IM him in Second Life (Theyain Rigaud).
Unlike the job classification 'Normal', Board is exclusive. Meaning any job listed under Board will have executive power of that field, which will can only be overridden by either Theyain, or an anonymous, majority vote by the Board. Open Board jobs are listed as follows:
*Director of Graphic Design
:*Administrates the creation and quality of textures used for AC in SL.
*Director of Building and Design
:*Oversees the construction and placement of buildings inside the sim.
*Director of Advertisement
*:Governs the placement, the costs, and looks of ads.
*Treasurer
:*Controls, manages, and budgets the financial assets of AC in SL.
*Director of The Board
:*Schedules and sets up Board Meetings, may take requests from other Board Members.
*Director of Public Communications
:*In charge of all operations involving the public release of information, suggestions by the public, and the cataloging malicious behaviors of unruly civilians.
Please note, however, that some of the listed positions are currently being filled, but are still accepting applications.
If you would like to apply for one of these positions, please email Theyain (Theyain_Riyu@yahoo.com). For the email, please include 'Board Position' in your subject field, a history of your work in the field, proof of said history, an example of your talent, reason for applying for position, and (in your own opinion) why you should be chosen over all the other applicants.
