Nicker lives in Poland, in Kalisz (pronounced Calish). He is a musician; he plays on keyboard (Casio MZ-2000) and his favourite music genre is Electro. Nicker is also a writer, and his stories can be found both at Fur Affinity and YiffStar. One of his most known stories is "Starshine", in which the main charactar is named after the author. Nicker loves animals; his favourite are horses.

Appearance
Nicker is an anthropomorphic Shire Equinian. His fur is Palomino-gold. As because his breed is Shire he's well-build and strong-looking, yet not over muscled. His eyes are silvery-green, and there is a wide stripe on his head.

History of Nicker
Nicker - as a fursona - came to life in the middle of 2000 and has been the main character of Chris K. for 5 years. After that time Chris decided to change his fursona to TerrisRacoon, yet after over a year, on 21 March 2007, Nicker The Equinian again became his main fursona. He still uses Terris, though, as a secondary character.

Equinians are a fictional species originally created by NickerEquinian for his story series Starshine, found on Yiffstar. They are a kind of mystical creatures, known as the defenders of nature, that used to live somewhere in central Europe. The last one of them, Nicker, is still alive.

General characteristics
Equinians - as the name shows - are equines; mainly horses, therefore it is very difficult to differ them from ordinary ones. The dissimilarity can be seen in that equinians have souls and powers that allow them to control forces of nature in good matter. They can create objects like fruit, trees, water etc. What is more they can use their magic to fight, yet only to protect themselves. They use telepathy to communicate and can also read the souls of other creatures to find out if it is mean or peaceful.

Community characteristics
Equinians are very sociable. They creat herds, where there is a prime mare and stallion, yet either of them has to remain single. The main herd that was uniting all other ones was called the Eternal Forest Herd. It doesn't exist anymore.

Beliefs
Every Equinian believe in the power of nature, and also 4 "Gods of Equinian" which represent four life-giving elements, times of year and cardinal points of the world:

* Inferno - god of fire and the whole West,
* Aquaria - goddess of water and the whole South,
* Blizzard - god of wind and the whole East,
* Earth - goddess of the ground and the whole North.

Any Equinian that attacks or kills another one becomes banished or his soul is doomed by Keno Rher (The Black Eagle).

Language
Centuries ago, they developed their own language, having some structural similarities to English, yet the words were totally different and not comparable to any other now-known language. For example:

Em Roa dau – I love you.

Em Na'Roa dau – I love you. (but the expressed deeply)

Wota' somad eme – Please, forgive me. (Wota' – pronounce Votaa)

Em waalu ramar – I will return. (waalu - pronounce Vaaloo)

Dau ore eim rhau – You are my friend.

History
The Polish Furries Area website opened in 5th January 2007. Because of it, the old Polish Furries Area forum that had served the community until then taken off-line, although it still can be read at its old web address. The new website has its own integrated forum.

The community's mascot goes by the name of Filipek, owned by SoulflyRED, and designed by Coyotek.

PSF's old forum
The first standalone PSF forum was also created by TerrisRacoon (former known as NickerEquinian) in 2005, who administer it along with Hepek. The forum got quite popular among furries from Poland.

When tidying and smoothing the wording of the appearance section, I changed the wording of this sentence refering to TerrisRacoon's tail: "When he walks, he keeps it lifted up like a squirrel or a skunk." I don't believe either Squirrels of Skunks usually walk with their tails held much above horizontal (in line with their backs) and I wasn't sure if Terris meant lifted up as in near-vertically in a cartoony sort of way, or lifted up as in not dragging on the ground. -- Sine 22:04, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
I removed the following edit from User:Neonus from the article (<ref> tags stripped for readability):

: He lies that he is not NickerEquinian. http://www.yiffstar.com/index.yiff?pid=12450

I'm not sure if it is appropriate to add this back in, but it should definitely be NPOVed if it is. --Douglas Muth 16:03, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Information in encylopedia should be neutral or objetive then? What is more important?.--Neonus 16:37, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

: Both are equally important. Information should be presented objectively, in a neutral point of view.
: If you have relavent information for an article, but also have strong feelings about it and are concerned about your ability to remain neutral, it is perfectly acceptable to leave a comment on the article's Talk page instead, and let others add the information to the article. --Douglas Muth 18:45, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Equinians were a kind of mystical creatures that used to live somewhere in central Europe, but not only. It is known that the species had died and nowadays no living specimen is to be met. They were known as defenders of nature.

General characteristics
Equinians - as the name name shows - were equines; mainly horses, therefore it was very difficult to differ them from ordinary ones. The disimillarity could have been seen in that equinians had souls and powers that allowed them to control forces of nature in good matter. They could create objects like fruit, trees, water etc. What is more they could use their magic to fight, yet only to protect themselves. They used telepathy to communicate and could also read the souls of other creatures to find out if it was mean or peaceful.

Community characteristics
Equinians were very socialable. They created herds, where there was a prime mare and stallion, yet either of them had to remain single. The main herd that was uniting all other ones was called the Eternal Forest Herd. The last member of it - called Nicker - died on 14 March 2006, making the whole species vanish.

Beliefs
Every equinian believed in the power of nature, and also 4 "Gods of Equinian" which represented four life-giving elements, times of year and cardinal points of the world:

- Inferno - god of fire and the whole West,

- Aquaria - goddess of water and the whole South,

- Blizzard - god of wind and the whole East,

- Earth - goddess of the ground and the whole North.

Each Equinian that would attack or kill other one had been banished or his soul was doomed by Keno Rher (eng. The Black Eagle).

Language
Centuries ago they have developed their own language, which structure was simmilar to english, yet the words were totally different and not comparable to any other now-known language:

Em Roa dau – I love you.

Em Na'Roa dau – I love you. (but the expressed deeply)

Wota' somad eme – Please, forgive me. (Wota' – pronounce Votaa)

Em waalu ramar – I will return. (waalu - pronounce Vaaloo)

Dau ore eim rhau – You are my friend.

Origin
Equinians were originally created by NickerEquinian (now known as TerrisRacoon) for his story series "Starshine" which can be found at Yiffstar. Till now there are two volumes of it, where the second one is still being written by the author.
TerrisRacoon//en.wikifur.com/wiki/EquinianEquinian2006-12-20T21:26:00Z
TerrisRacoon: Creating the article. == History of Terris ==

Terris - as a fursona - came to life on 14 March 2006. For the previous five years he used to be an equinian known as Nicker, sometimes using the name NickerEquainian. He now considers himself "100% arctic raccoon", and dislikes mention of his previous fursona.
TerrisRacoon (real name: Chris) is the administrator of the Polish Furry forum Polska Strefa Furry (Polish Furry Area). Together with Hepek he is also developing a new website for all Polish furries.

Terris lives in Poland, in Kalisz (pronounced Calish). He is a musician; he plays on keyboard (Casio MZ-2000) and his favourite music genre is Electro. Terris is also a writer, and his stories can be found both at Fur Affinity and YiffStar. One of his stories is "Starshine". He loves animals; his favourite are raccoons, horses and rams.

Terris is a Great Arctic Raccoon (Procyon Arcticus Magnus), the last of his kind.

Appearance
TerrisRacoon is a normal anthro raccoon, yet he doesn't look like an ordinary one. His fur has an arctic color and is extremely fluffy. His eyes are surrounded by a bit darker, but still arctic white, fur which creates a kind of mask more similar to a panda than a raccoon. His hair is even darker than the mask.

Terris' dark-striped tail is big (around 150 cm long) and very soft. It keeps him warm on very cold days, and is very strong: he can lift heavy objects with it. When he walks, he keeps it lifted up.

In anthro form Terris is 1.94 m tall. (In feral form he is only 60 cm.)
