Okay. Can the page be deleted though? Since I don't want this to show up on Google and exclusion still makes it show up with my name attached. I'll talk to a curator

:The WikiFur account doesn't really matter (although it's nice to have the confirmation) because the creator of the article does not "own" the article; it's the actual ''subject'' that matters, which is why I sent the email. As for exclusion, it will work, but Google et. al. needs to be told that the page is gone now, which I will do, as well as protecting the page from further edits. :The goal is to remove and prevent the addition of detailed personal information about the subject, not the mere fact that you are a person who exists and who might have been somewhat associated with furry fandom. I have removed the ''full'' version of the name, however - though I cannot 100% guarantee it will stop it turning up, since the name Nicholas is used elsewhere on the page.

:What we permit is to stop people writing about your personal life - DoB, location, etc, not to stop mentions of key things you have done associated with ''other'' topics. This is a compromise between editors who want complete removal of mentions of a subject, and those who think removal should not be allowed at all as long as the information is true.

:For example, the creator of a popular comic may still be mentioned by name on the page about that topic. We would normally use a fan name rather than a RL one ''if'' they primarily used it at the time, but this seems not to apply (Weebly, which is still up, is quite clear about your RL name). But discussion of, say, the themes of the stories they wrote belongs on the page about them, unless the works themselves are truly deserving of a separate article, and so would be removed by exclusion.

:Similarly, we keep the article there rather than delete it, but hide the history - in part so that that other editors don't just create it again, but also so that anyone who wants to find out about you and who ''already'' knows that you are active in the furry fandom can learn you have requested not to be covered.
