'''Reckless Micky''' is an original fiction about a green-furred [[anthropomorphic]] [[squirrel]], Michael "Micky" Jerome Quirrel, written by The Asylum of the Devitory. Although currently having five chapters written, Asylum intends for this story (Vendetta) to be one of six installations. Beta readers of the early versions of Vendetta note the extreme levels of intense and often brutal violence- which Asylum intends to keep in the final version.

=== Michael "Micky" Quirrel ===

An Ex-NYPD officer, Micky was fired after pursuing a drug dealer in an extremely reckless car chase. After learning the true circumstances surrounding his sister's death, Micky engages himself in a one-man war against the New York underworld. Having long lost his parents, Micky grew up inside a military reserve boarding school, where he became a proficient kickboxer and excellent gunfighter (and smoker!), able to wield any type of firearm or anti-vehicle weapon with ease. Also, being a squirrel, he can scale rough walls and sometimes even ceilings. He is very stubborn and headstrong, usually looking well after he leaps. He doesn't like to look back, and is usually care-free and laid back, as well as being slightly psychotic with a twisted, often morbid sense of humor.
== Personality and Backstory ==

While his mental stability is sometimes questionable, Micky is level-headed enough in a dangerous situation to survive. Usually carefree (and sometimes annoying), Micky very rarely lets his sensitive side show. Having long lost his parents and family, Micky was trained at a young age in a military reserve boarding school all the way to adulthood- which he is very tight-lipped about. During his tenure with the NYPD, he was known and sometimes feared as a reckless psychopath, willing to do pretty much anything necessary to finish an operation- ranging from dangerous to almost suicidal methods.
=== Reckless Micky: Vendetta ===

An Ex-NYPD officer, Micky was fired after pursuing a drug dealer in an extremely reckless car chase. After learning the true circumstances surrounding his sister's death, Micky engages himself in a one-man war against the New York underworld. Having long lost his parents, Micky grew up inside a military reserve boarding school, where he became a proficient kickboxer and excellent gunfighter (and smoker), able to wield any type of firearm or anti-vehicle weapon with ease. Also, being a squirrel, he can scale rough walls and sometimes even ceilings. He is very stubborn and headstrong, usually looking well after he leaps. He doesn't like to look back, and is usually care-free and laid back, as well as being slightly psychotic with a twisted sense of humor.
