Reason I ask is allot of things have changed and developments have happened with me since this article was written and I would like to see the article reflect those changes. Tamias the Chipmunk is a digital artist specializing in illustrations and Flash based 2-D animation. He has known about the furry fandom since 1995. However he did not join the furry fandom until Dec, 31, 2007. He is currently active in Second Life as a builder and officer of various second life groups and locations. He also posts artwork on Fur Affinity.

Tamias is also the author of The Chipmunk Kingdom a complex storyline covering the history of a nation of [[Anthropomorphic|Anthropomorphic]] [[Chipmunk|Chipmunks]] and the world of animal and human nations in which the Kingdom and its characters interacts with. Also the Chipmunk Kingdom forms the bases of his two principal [[fursona|fursonas]], Tamias Orenberg and Jerry Lee.

Outside the Furry Fandom, Tamias has a variety of interests including Woodworking, High end Home Audio and Video, and keeping track of local urban developments. Music Genres is eclectic including classical, new age, electronica, contemporary, and techno. However Tamias has an interest in classical pipe organ music.

== Second Life ==

Tamias has been subscribed Second Life as Tamias Orenberg since 5/14/2008. He is the founder and Chipmunk Chieftain (group owner) of the Chipmunk Kingdom a roll playing group based on the storyline of its namesake. He is also an Officer of a group of builders and scripters called the Mad Scientist Union. In addition to these tasks he is also an administrator of Wolfee Darkfang's Spirit Wolf Island. Tamias is currently a builder working for the Leaky Faux Pub, having build the pub and currently creating skyboxes and homes to be put on sale in Second Life.

In the Past Tamias was an Estate Manager of the former Empire of Things region and its chief architect. He also owned and managed the Worlds End Dance Club. During his final months on the Empire of Things he constructed the Chipmunk Kingdom. Covering the Entire region the Chipmunk Kingdom was his largest and most ambitious second life project to date. He has been hired on by Slashy Sands as her partner and chief builder of the Leaky Fauxes Pub.

Tamias is usually seen wearing a chipmunk avatar of his own creation made to the likeness of his Fursona. He Also has two alt accounts, one of which features an avatar to the likeness of his other Principal fursona Jerry Lee.

== Jerry Lee ==

Dating back to 1990 Jerry Lee is the oldest of Tamias's two principal fursonas. He is currently a male anthropomorphic chipmunk from the Chipmunk Kingdom. He is the main protagonist of a story in which pitted him against the Inner Circle a diabolical cult like group that took over the Chipmunk Kingdom and nearly eradicated the Divine Destiny the primary chipmunk religion and culture. Jerry is brash and in your face. He never backs down from the challenge. A hard charger, go getter, hold 'em high, do or die type of guy Jerry's determination made this brave hero the Inner Circle's eventual undoing.

Jerry begin life in 1995 as a fan character of Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers. However years of development and revisions resulted in his current state as the protagonist of the Chipmunk Kingdom. However he was placed in retirement about 5 years ago when he sacrificed his life to insure his storyline's main villain was utterly destroyed by the Sun's Wrath. But on March, 7, 2010 Jerry was revived from hiatus as a Second Life avatar to be used in roll play and as a secondary account to compliment Tamias in his Estate Management duties.

However his calm nature, wit, inspiring oration skills, and his stead fast loyalty to the Chipmunk Kingdom and especially the Devine Destiny quickly catapulted him to Chipmunk Chieftain, the pontiff of the Devine Destiny and cartaker of the Synergy Crystal, chipmunk kind's most sacred object. As chieftain he is faced with the daunting challenge of spurring the Chipmunk Kingdom and other animal nations to endure and overcome the ravages of the despotic Human Supremacist Organization (HSO).

As an orphened Kit adopted by a human family he has no memory of his blood parents. Raised as a human Tamias faces a difficult choice to either stay with and uphold what his family thought him at the risk of alienating his fellow chipmunks or accept and embrace the chipmunk he is at the risk of letting down the humans who raised him. Making this already difficult choice even more daunting is his choice will affect the outcome of the struggles between animals and the HSO.

Believing Jerry Lee to be one of the greatest chipmunk to have ever lived for saving the Chipmunk Kingdom from the Inner Circle 300 years ago, Tamias used the power of the Synergy Crystal to revive this hero. He has assigned to Jerry the task of aiding the Chipmunk Kingdom and the rest of the animal nations of the world in the fight against the HSO.

On the surface Tamias is docile, very courteous, and every bit the diplomat. But beneath that surface this chipmunk is very loving and filled with passion and emotion. Dealing with bouts of loneliness due to his internal struggles Tamias loves companionship and is very affectionate to his friends.

Okay, this page is full of errors. "The Furry War" is definitely still going between a bunch of furries and persistent trolls. I'm also pretty sure that the channers' campaign against Scientology didn't begin until early 2008.

I'd change it myself, but I don't know much about this sort of thing. All I know is that the trolls are claiming to have evidence of Wolfeedarkfang being a zoophile or something.

How could the trolls retreat from "the war" in 2007 to participate in a campaign that hadn't started yet? It's definitely the same war, same furries making videos, same group of trolls attacking them. I don't think it ever stopped.

It's definitely notable. Many trolls and furries were involved. It was these groups' main focus on YouTube for a period of time. Wolfee and associates created at least one (possibly two or more) "FurryOps" secret forums in which Wolfee, Tamias and their flamewar gang planned to send pizza deliveries to trolls' doorsteps and put child pornography on their computers, among other things. I'm pretty sure one of the trolls even faked his own death. If it doesn't belong here, it should have its own article. This is how it started: Around February or so a troll was conversing with a furry about zoophilia(I think might have been the subject), and the furry came out that they were a zoophile. The troll made a screenshot of the comment and made a YouTube video. Two other trolls picked up on it, if I remember right, and made a vids of their own. Wolfeedarkfang made a Youtube bulletin asking to flag the three users so YT would ban them. That really was the igniter of the flame war you see today. The trolls say they were suspicious to why he would defend a zoophile. Trolls say they Googled Wolfeedarkfang and found an account on a bestiality website by the name of Wolfeedarkfang, registered in 2005. Wolfee says it's a troll account, and that the trolls time hacked the webite to frame him. It had a snowball effect that lasted for I don't know how long. As you see, this has nothing to do with what happened back in late 2007. Speaking of Encyclopaedia Dramatica, they have an entirely different take on "the war" and consider the Wolfee situation to be part of it. However I am highly reluctant to use Encyclopaedia Dramatica for research as I do not trust them when it comes to furry matters (or any matters) and the article is edited by trolls. If you are a user of Encyclopaedia Dramatica then you can discuss it there.

I'm still pretty sure that the war didn't end beacuse of the Scientology campaign, that didn't start until 2008. I'm removing that part, but I'll leave the rest in.

I agree with you about this article, it should be merged into the main YouTube article and a section should be added about the Wolfee situation. By the way, I checked the archive of one of Wolfee's secret vigilante forums (at furryops.patrioticnigras.org), and I was wrong about their tactics. No forum users ever mentioned pizza deliveries. The '''YouTube Furry War''' is a term used to refer to a sharp increase of [[anti-furry]] [[troll|trolling]] against furries inside or outside of the [[furry fandom]], which began around summer 2007 and is still ongoing. The furry war is notable for the mass hacking of numerous [[YouTube]] furry accounts and the amount of awareness to the furry fandom in response to the war.

From popular opinion, this was suggested to be the catalyst for the YouTube Furry War.]]
Although many theories still circulate as to how the Furry War had begun, it is widely rumored however to have been started by [[Soki Twopaw]] who, fed up with the outweighing number of negative and defamatory comments on his videos, promoted the idea of a furry uprising against trolls.

This eventually turned into ''Ultimatum Declaratum'', a video created by Soki to express his disdain and solution about the trolls. Initially, many furries were in favor of the rebellion.

However, this also drew the attention of many trolls who all immediately lampooned such an idea. As a result, many anti-fur YouTube users (not all were necessarily trolls) started to massively spam furry-related videos whether their authors were involved in the conflict or not.

=== FCTC ===

This continued for a number of months, until a group calling themselves the FCTC (or the Fried Chicken Trolling Crew) appeared soon after the start of the war with the specific purpose of posting inflammatory comments and hacking furry-related YouTube accounts.

The most notable of these was in late 2007, where a failed [[wikipedia:phishing|phishing]] attempt was circulated through e-mails and falsified YouTube pages - this was soon halted after allegedly being reported by [[Wolfee Darkfang]]; no perpetrators have been caught.

=== Fall 2007 ===

Between the summer and winter periods of 2007, the war mostly grew into an exchange of videos and comments between various furries and the FCTC with some major events breaking the monotony such as the hacking and vandalism of several YouTube pages, [[MySpace]] accounts, and website of [[Silentwulf]] and a furry invasion of [[7chan]] on September 2nd.
Administrators on the Silentwulf site were able to lock-down the site, and track down those responsible. Little information exists on what transpired.

A video series, titled ''YouTube Furry War'', was started by [[Alexander Grey]] to specifically counter comments left by trolls in a calm and logical manner; by means to contrast to the usually angry and loathing videos left by enraged furs. The series ran for only a few months, to be succeeded by ''[[Alexander Grey#As the Furry Guru|Furry Guru]]''.

Towards the end of 2007 the war had largely died down for reasons unknown. Other troll accounts had been suspended or deleted by this time. Although many state that the furry war had ended around late December 2007, the war still continues to persist (albeit at a relatively small level).

== 2010 ==

A group known as the New Furry Movement (N.F.M) was established counter trolling activities directed against furries on youtube and other sites. However controversial incidences involving the group combined with internal strife ultimately proved to be the NFM's Demise.
