Suiraqua [sur-ah-kwah] was an anthro dragon author and musician.

Furry Life
Suiraqua joined the fandom in early 2009 after discovering furry artists Rangarig, Taurin Fox, and Ayame as well as Bad Dragon and its forums. At first, he took on a feral cat fursona under the name Black Cat Writing. He eventually developed a strong connection to dragons and dropped it in favor of a dark-green dragon character, which he uses today. Suiraqua's name is an anagram of his zodiac sign (Aquarius); he uses this name almost everywhere he goes on the internet. In mid-September of 2010, Suiraqua decided to leave the fandom.

Writing
Long before he knew what a furry was, Suiraqua had been writing as a hobby since age 12, and had worked in a number of genres: horror, thriller, science fiction, and fantasy. As Black Cat Writing, he began writing furry fiction and posted his attempts on the Bad Dragon forums. His first furry story, Beneath the Green Forest was not heavily read but praised by those who did. Later stories, such as The Lonely Dragoness and More Than A Dream, were similarly received. He continued writing and posting on Fur Affinity and SoFurry (after it's transformation from Yiffstar). In June 2010, Suiraqua stopped writing stories in favor of writing song lyrics exclusively, but he returned again in August by taking on adult story requests. This did not last long, as Suiraqua decided to write non-yiff stories exclusively the following September, releasing Silent Fire a few days later.

Music
Suiraqua got into music and began recording under his furry name in late 2009, after going through several prior names. While he works primarily in hard rock, progressive, and metal (inspired by bands like Pink Floyd, Breaking Benjamin, Staind, Coheed & Cambria, and Dream Theater), Suiraqua draws inspiration from many different styles and sources. Suiraqua is most talented on the piano/keyboards, but is a proficient guitarist and a competent bassist, drummer, and singer. Suiraqua posted song demos on Fur Affinity and SoFurry in early 2010, but removed them within months; few copies of his old work now exist.
Suiraqua//en.wikifur.com/wiki/SuiraquaSuiraqua2010-09-18T21:11:54Z
Suiraqua: Added a comma, lol

Suiraqua [sur-ah-kwah] is an anthro dragon musician residing in Pierce County, Washington, U.S.A.

History
Suiraqua joined the fandom in early 2009 after he discovered furry artists Rangarig, Taurin Fox, and Ayame as well as Bad Dragon and its forums. At first, he took on a feral cat fursona under the name Black Cat Writing. After finding Fur Affinity and Yiffstar, he eventually realized how strong a personal connection he felt toward dragons and dropped his cat fursona in favor of a dark-green dragon character, which he uses today. Suiraqua's name is an anagram of his zodiac sign, Aquarius, and he uses this name almost everywhere he goes on the internet. Presently, Suiraqua is a quiet visitor and art fan within the furry populace.

Writing
Long before he knew what a furry was, Suiraqua had been writing as a hobby for four years and worked in a number of genres, including horror, thriller, science fiction, and fantasy. As Black Cat Writing, Suiraqua began writing furry erotica for the first time and posted his attempts on the Bad Dragon forums. His first story, Beneath the Green Forest was not heavily read but praised by those who did. Later stories, such as The Lonely Dragoness and More Than A Dream, were similarly received. He continued writing furry stories for some time and posted them on Fur Affinity and SoFurry (after it's transformation from Yiffstar). In June 2010, Suiraqua stopped writing stories in favor of writing song lyrics, but he still keeps much of his literary work on SoFurry today.

Music
Owing greatly to his writing experience, Suiraqua stepped into music and began recording under his fandom name in late 2009, after going through several prior names. While he works primarily in the hard rock genre (inspired by bands like Breaking Benjamin, Staind, Coheed & Cambria, and Creed), Suiraqua draws inspiration from many different styles and sources. Suiraqua is most talented on the piano/keyboards, but is a proficient guitarist, drummer, and is learning to play bass and sing. Suiraqua posted demos on Fur Affinity and SoFurry in early 2010 to limited listeners, but removed them within months; few copies of his old songs now exist. Nowadays, Suiraqua continues to write new lyrics daily and is slowly composing his first official album, called 'Draconic'.

Personal life
Justin, Suiraqua's creator, graduated from Tahoma Senior High School in 2010. He will be attending Pacific Lutheran University in Fall 2010 in pursuit of a Business degree, a safety net for his music career. Justin came out of the gay closet in September of 2009, the same month he attended Rainfurrest, his first furry convention. In his spare time, Justin can be found playing video games, driving, hanging out with friends, or simply napping.

Suiraqua [sur-ah-kwah] is an anthro dragon musician from King County, Washington, U.S.A.

History
Suiraqua joined the fandom in early 2009, when he discovered furry artists Rangarig, Taurin Fox, and Ayame, as well as Bad Dragon and its forums. He took on a feral cat fursona under the name Black Cat Writing. Upon finding Fur Affinity and Yiffstar, he realized how much of a personal connection he felt toward dragons and dropped his cat fursona in favor of a dark-green dragon character, which he uses today. Suiraqua's name is an anagram of his zodiac sign, Aquarius. Presently, Suiraqua remains a frequent visitor and contributor within the fandom and wishes to further his music career.

He continued writing furry stories for some time and starting posting on Fur Affinity and Yiffstar as well. As of June 2010, Suiraqua has stopped writing stories in favor of writing song lyrics, but he still keeps all of his stories on SoFurry, separate from his musical work.

Suiraqua is most talented on the piano/keyboards, but is a proficient guitarist and drummer, and is learning to play bass and sing. Suiraqua posted demos on Fur Affinity and SoFurry in early 2010 to limited listeners, but removed them within months; few copies of his older music currently exist. In April 2010, Suiraqua began composing his first full-length album entitled 'Draconic,' a project he continues to work on.

Personal life
Justin, Suiraqua's creator, graduated from Tahoma Senior High School in 2010. He will be attending Pacific Lutheran University in Fall 2010, pursuing a Business degree as a safety net for his music career. Justin came out of the gay closet in September of 2009, the same month he attended Rainfurrest, his first furry convention. Aside from writing and music, Justin also enjoys playing video games and hanging out with friends when he does eventually leave his computer.
Owing greatly to his writing experience, Suiraqua transitioned into music and began recording under his fandom name in late 2009. According to his Myspace page, Suiraqua describes his style as "hard, heavy, alternative rock" and considers post-grunge bands such as Creed, Staind, and Nickelback his greatest influences. He has a small, cheap home studio and plays guitar, bass, keyboards, and sings in all of his songs. He began posting demos on Fur Affinity and SoFurry in early 2010, once again to limited listeners thus far. To date, Suiraqua continues to write and record music, improving with every song.
