<div style="clear:both"></div>

'''Shiroji Mori'''

Shiroji is Kuro's younger brother. He is much more upbeat and happy than his dour older sibling, possibly because he was too young to be affected by his mother's presumed death.

WikiFur talk:Comic of the Week/1

2008-10-02T07:03:21Z

Sketchess: /* Nominations */

The '''Comic of the Week''' is a way to feature the large number of high-quality [[:Category:Comics|comics]] that are popular among members of the [[furry fandom]] - and perhaps a few that aren't yet as popular as they deserve to be, too. '''You''' can take part by [[#Nominate a comic|nominating a comic]] for featuring.

<div style="float:right">__TOC__</div>

== Nominate a comic ==

Please nominate up to three comics below (preface with *). Comics must have an existing article - if you want to feature a comic without an article, write the article first, then nominate it. Note that both general audience and [[:Category:Mature comics|mature]] nominations are welcome.

Others may support a nomination with indented comments (preface with :, and sign your name with <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>. Support is not the only (or even primary factor) for featuring - the justification given for featuring in the nomination will weigh heavily, as will availability of a high quality panel or title image representing the comic in the article, and of course the article itself.

=== Nominations ===
*[[Dandy & Company]] by Derrick Fish
*[[El Goonish Shive]] by Dan Shive.
*[[Badly Drawn Kitties]] by [[Mat Sherer]] , drawn by [[Kat Smith]]
* [[Exodus]] by [[Pepper]]
:On hiatus right now. --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 00:03, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
* [[Boomer Express]] by [[Tyrnn Eaveranth]] and [[Jakebe Sunraven]]
:''Seconded!''--[[User:GraveyardGreg|Graveyard Greg]]
:With a better article, certainly. --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 00:26, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
* [[Balls of Furr]] - [[Ricardo Canheta]]
* [[Alice Otter]] by [[Miguel Estrugo]] ('Cause I need her.)
*[[Roomies]] by [[Dan Canaan]]
:With a better article I'd support that. Right now it's just two short paragraphs and no picture. --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 15:24, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
* [[Three D Comics]] by [[ImagoRabbit]] {{unsigned|65.28.190.117}}
*[[The Suburban Jungle]], by John "[[The Gneech]]" Robey (Nice artwork, and a long, established run) - --[[User:Leo Delgrith|Leo Delgrith]] 19:36, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
:Great comic, but the article needs more work. --[[User:Mwalimu|mwalimu]] 23:37, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
*[[BF Funnies]] by [[Wyldsyde]] is my nomination, thanks! --[[User:Kattywampus|Kattywampus]]
:Would have been good but the comic does not appear to be updated on that site any more. --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 00:03, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
*[[The Blackblood Alliance]] by [[KayFedewa]]. Amazing art, and a great storyline to boot. [[User:SpazKitty|Spaz Kitty]] 01:40, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
*:Looks OK, but the site really needs to be up first. --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 05:41, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
*[[Pride of Baghdad]], too, once it gets a better article. [[User:SpazKitty|Spaz Kitty]] 01:41, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
:: Worthwhile, but I would lean towards webcomics versus print ones, or at least an online preview of such a comic, if only so readers can follow the links to some amount of material. [[User:Jigsaw Forte|Jigsaw Forte]] 17:31, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
*[[Persona Animus]] by [[John Scharmen]]
*[[Black Tapestries]] by [[Jakkal]]
:Is it too much to ask that a nominated article for a webcomic use the webcomic article template, and perhaps some actual images of the comic? Seems silly to have an article but not show off some of the featured artwork, after all. -- [[User:Jigsaw Forte|Jigsaw Forte]] 02:59, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
::The webcomics template, yes, that's too much. If people don't want to use it, that's their call. I think it is important to have at least one picture (otherwise there is nothing to put on the front page, for a start). --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 05:06, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
*[[Obani u Wena]] by [[Karli Martin]]
:Seems to only have had a couple of strips . . . --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 00:03, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
*[[Good Cheese]] by [[Kelly Hamilton]]
*[[Namir Deiter]] by [[Isabel Marks]]
*[[VG Cats]] by [[Scott Ramsoomair]]
:Needs a better article, though, and a picture of the two featured felines. [[User:SpazKitty|Spaz Kitty]] 23:03, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
* [[Blacksad]] by Juan Diaz Canales and Juanjo Guarnido --[[User:Yamavu|Yamavu]] 00:11, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
* [[Cheap Thrills]] by Vivisection_Bob/Skurvy
:Needs a better article, of course. [[User:SpazKitty|Spaz Kitty]] 20:44, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
*[[The Pride of Life]] by R.F. Tigermode
*[[Anakuro]] by Ana and Kuro
* <span style="color:grey">''Add your nomination above here. --{{UT|GreenReaper}}''</span>
:<span style="color:grey">''I like this comic! It be drawed good! --[[User:SomeoneElse|SomeoneElse]]''</span>

'''Comics''' includes webcomics, newspaper comics, printed comics, and comic books. The lines between these categories can easily blur. You may enter comics here that are not explicitly furry, or intended for a furry audience - they just have to be ''of interest to furries'', perhaps by including [[anthropomorphic]] characters.

*Becca is a short, stocky Japanese [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raccoon_dog raccoon dog] and Ana's coworker and friend. As an American-born ''tanuki'' surrounded by raccoons, she is quite defensive of her species and will not tolerate being misidentified. Becca can be a bit boisterous and outspoken, but she has a kind heart and good intentions.

Sketchess: /* Comics to add */

'''Comics''' includes webcomics, newspaper comics, printed comics, and comic books. The lines between these categories can easily blur. You may enter comics here that are not explicitly furry, or intended for a furry audience - they just have to be ''of interest to furries'', perhaps by including [[anthropomorphic]] characters.

==Comics to add==
If you can think of a comic that deserves writing about, add it in here, and maybe someone will. Don't let that stop '''you''' writing about a comic, including your own! Please place titles intended for adult audiences in the [[:Category:Mature comics|mature comics]] category.
