The [[furry]] [[Wikipedia:Subculture|subculture]] is often a physically affectionate one. Furs [[hug]] each other often, open (though not extreme) expression of every gender preference is accepted, and various [[paraphilia]]s are quite common.

There is a lot of speculation as to why this is:

* One possible reason may be that furries are highly sensate people; that is, they strongly experience and appreciate stimulation of the senses. Being close to someone, whether it's sitting in someone's lap, or just a pat on the head, satisfies a desire for pleasurable stimulus.

* Another possible reason, often suggested by detractors, is that many furries may have been deprived of social contact for whatever reason, and thus have strong fantasies of intimate contact which they desire to act upon.

* A third hypothesis derives from anthropological observations of non-human animals, who will spend time performing social grooming and other nonverbal social behaviors to reinforce group ties and rankings. This kind of contact is in keeping with furry [[lifestyler]]s' desires to express their animal nature.

In any case, the desire for contact, combined with fewer barriers to contact in an all-furry setting, and groups of furs who know each other, may lead to any number of [[:Category:Affectionate actions|affectionate actions]]. Due to this, one consequence of large group gatherings is the potential for conflict between people who enjoy physical contact and people who would rather not be touched.
==Why does it seem that so many furries are homosexual?==

Some take the position that a significantly larger proportion of the [[furry fandom]] is gay or bisexual compared to the general population, which is currently assumed to be 4-5% of the human population according to mainstream media. Various possibilities account for this, one of which that gays, already somewhat outcasts in mainstream society, seek the furry fandom to find acceptance.

There are a number of estimates of the percentage of gays in the furry fandom. A popular, oft-quoted consensus is 90% gay, though a poll used in a 2002 furry sociology paper hosted at [[The Darken Hollow]] (360 polled) show that roughly 25% are heterosexual, 25% are gay, and 50% are bisexual. A poll (of indeterminable date) on the [[IFPL]] used the Kinsey scale to rate the measure of homosexuality in respondents:
In recent polls, a 2006 [[FAOD]] shows 25% heterosexual, 20% homosexual, and 55% bisexual (out of 44 polled), but a [[Furtopia]] poll (open 2003 to present) showed 50% (out of 560 polled) were heterosexual, with 25% gay and 25% bisexual.

I'm a 16 year old [[gay]] male currently living in the city of Liverpool in the United Kingdom. I enjoy computing, using the internet and learning more about computing.

I plan to extend this page soon to have more information about me. But, I'm a very busy person at the moment so this is pretty much an edited mirror of my Wikipedia User Page.

==Biography==
===Early Life and Education===
I was born in a town called Worksop which is in the United Kingdom in the year 1990. I am now 16 years old. I spent the first few years of my school life going to the Holy Family school in that town until I was roughly 8 or 9 years old when my mother got engaged to a man living in Liverpool city in the north west of England. I started going to the St Mary's Much Woolton school which is close to where I live. When I finished that school when I was 11 I started at the local catholic secondary school St Francis Xavier's college where I still attend but am in my final year before finishing my GCSE course.
===Spare Time and Personal Life===
In my spare time I'm a drummer, and also play some synthesiser, however poorly it is. I also enjoy using computers and the internet, and enjoy playing computer and viseo games. I particuarly enjoy strategy games and first person shooters like Deus Ex. Online I play the MMORPG [[Second Life]].

I'm a young [[gay]] male, and I've just recently got myself a boyfriend (yay!!!). I'm quite [[kinky]] in a lot of ways. I'm also in the [[Furry Fandom]] and do enjoy [[Yiff]], however yiff only makes up a part of the furry fandom for me and I think that the non-sexual side is probably more important than the sexual side. I'm open about my sexual orientation with most people, however I stall haven't come out to my parents.

==Music==

I study music at GCSE and I play both the drum kit and some synthesiser but not often and not very well. I usually do most things listening to music as well.

Mostly I listen to rock music of various subgenres, and electronica.
* '''Motto''': ''The Internet Makes You Stupid''

'''Something Awful''' is an internet community owned and operated by [[Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka]]. Stereotypical forum members have a somewhat higher sense of collective intelligence and pretension than the average forum grouping. It ranges from teens to adults, talented artists to talented writers, and also very avid gamers.

A minority of its users hold up the established SA tradition of mocking the furry fandom, including pranks, disorganized [[trolling]], and individual harassment of users themselves in places such as [[LiveJournal]], message-boards, and various furry websites. This includes [[WikiFur]] itself, which was vandalized on various pages with defamation toward the furry fandom or repetitions of the phrase "SOMETHING AWFUL DOT COM." While the administrators of the [[Something Awful|SA]] forums do not condone the actions taken, and do take action to remove these troublemakers from their ranks when they deem necessary, many [[goons]] take it upon themselves to invade websites, forums and LiveJournals when they are linked on or off the forums. (Examples of off-forums organized invasions includes the now defunct [[SALJ]].) There are three instances where goons "infiltrated" a furry [[convention]]. <!-- If there are more, feel free to add. :) -->

To many on the Something Awful forums now, however, furries are considered an old "meme". But there are still members who continue to "hop on the bandwagon" and attack the fandom.

== Involvement with Furries ==
=== Conventions ===
==== Texas Furry Con 2004 ====
A newer SA forum user <!-- Can someone find the name of the user that started the thread? -->started a post detailing her first visit to a furry convention then decided it wasn't for her. She left a picture of a detailed pineapple hand-grenade which stated, "WE ARE WATCHING." [[Image:Sawarning.jpg|right|thumb|User's recollection of the original poster (somewhat inaccurate).]]

Later, SA member Vorpal Bunny, a resident of Texas, decided to pay the convention a visit, wearing a shirt that said "L33T LIEK JEFFK" and had a URL to the website. After being tipped off by furry and SA goon [[Labinnah]], the con staff proceeded to catch and detain Vorpal Bunny and his pack of friends, forcing them to stay until they signed a form which stated they would not release anything to the Internet. This, of course, didn't happen.

An account in his own words of Vorpal Bunny's visit can be found online [http://www.viewfromuphere.com/writings/000122.php here].

The image above is a recollection of what the initial poster assumed she had left drawn again. The original displayed was left laying around in the dealers room and was given to con staff. The actual drawing had the grenade standing vertically, said "We are watching you!" and did not have the SA insignia anywhere. At the time, staff were perplexed and, although the logo of Something Awful is a hand-grenade, it is not a universally recognized symbol of the website. Equally, this hotel was right across the street from Bergstrom International Airport. Had the drawing identified itself as coming from SA, it would have been seen as harmless.

Video of the incident can be found [http://www.nothingkat.com/confession/somethingtexas/bust.zip here]. Also of interest is an opinion article on the matter at [[nothingkat]]'s [[nothingkat.com|website]], ''[http://www.nothingkat.com/confession/somethingtexas.htm Something Awful In Texas]''.

==== [[Feral!]] 2004 ====
A forum user posted about his "ninja infiltration" <!-- Not the right wording. Someone please rephrase. -->to a furry convention out in the woods. Sneaking around the camp area, he placed numerous paper flags with the [[Something Awful]] logo on various cars. In the thread he posted, he was ridiculed by the other forum goons for "having no life."

==== Anthrocon 2005 ====
[[Image:Mix&Kiro.jpg|right|thumb|An SA goon squad forms in a park near Anthrocon's hotel to watch [[Mix]] (right) spray-paint stenciled grenade-paw logos onto T-shirts, which he gives to his friend [[Kiro]] (left). He later gave the white shirt he is wearing in this photo to [[Banrai]]]]

An individual named [[Mix]] decided to bring an old 1976 Canon Canosound 514XL-S video camera with 'Super 8mm Kodak Ektachrome' film with him to Anthrocon, labeled with a bumper sticker that read "LOL INTERNET." He wore a t-shirt with his [[fursona]] on the front-- a blue hyenataur-- with his profile/meme and "SomethingAwful.com" above it; on the back, a blown-up version of the Something Awful grenade logo. He visited the convention [[Con Ops|Operations]] office on the Monday morning of the convention, gave out 'I <3 VCL' buttons, shouted "SomethingAwfulDotCom!!!" and ran out.

Near the end of the convention, Mix took out his art kit full of cans of spray paint and headed for a near park to stencil shirts for his friends and fans. The shirts parodied Anthrocon's motto "Fur, Fun, And So Much More!" by saying "AnthroGoon: Fags, Fat, And So Many Whores!"; They were considered quite amusing by the few who received them, though only a few were made. Mix later gave [[Banrai]] his infamous spraypainted 'werehyenataur' profile shirt (as shown above) at FWA 2006, which had an SA's grenade logo with a parodized version of Anthrocon's logo, a bloody pawprint emblem, on the back.

While many consider this behavior typical for a ''Something Awful'' [[goon]], Mix denies his involvement with the site, saying that he was taking pictures and filming for a personal art project, and that the actions he took on that day were a joke. The T-shirts were to pass the time on a "very dull convention."

Later, a [[Talk:Mix|heated debate]] arose over the inclusion of the above events in WikiFur. In fact, the matter tended to be taken far more seriously by those who heard rumors of it than those who were there at the time. [[Xydexx]] had this to say:

:''To be honest, I didn't think he was doing anything really malicious. I mean, he gave me an [[VCL#buttons|I <3 VCL button]]. That was kinda nice. The worst he did at AC was exercise poor judgement, that's all. Everyone makes mistakes.''

=== LiveJournal ===
==== SALJ ====
[[SALJ]], or "[[Something Awful]] LiveJournal", was a LiveJournal community which trolled pretty much all of LiveJournal. From auto-erotic asphyxiation communities to zoophile communities, they attacked them all. While not the main focus, one thing they did attack were other furry communities.

=== IRC ===
In late 2004, when the [[SALJ]] LiveJournal community was still around, many users of the community congregated in an IRC channel. They organized an attack on a channel on FurNet called #dragonyiff. What happened was enormous amounts of spam with constant barrages of various catch-phrases from the [[Something Awful]] forums, such as the ever infamous "SOMETHING AWFUL DOT COM." The users, however, when everything calmed down, blamed it on [[Sibe]].

=== Awful Link of the Day ===
"The Awful Link of the Day" is a daily feature of Something Awful where a particularly awful web page is located and showcased. The websites featured range between horrendously created Tripod websites or the most bizarre of the bizarre forums on the Internet, and sometimes a random furry artist's website or community, such as [[vore]] or [[babyfur]], will pop up as the target. Furry-themed websites have been part of the Awful Link of the Day nearly since the site's inception. On July 16th, 2000, the web page of [[Tom Foxx]] was given the "Awful Link of the Day" treatment:

: ''[http://homepages.go.com/~tomfoxx/ The Foxx's Den] (down, [http://web.archive.org/web/20000617060945/homepages.go.com/~tomfoxx/indecks.html archived]) - Since I'm currently at a loss to explain this page (yes, it appears to only be one page), I'll just copy the description that was included in the email: "Gay anime boy goes to fantastical online make-believe land, becomes a gay humanoid fox creature, falls in love with fellow humanoid fox creature, takes care of baby dragons, and puts bad midi music on an already bad site. I think it's about some guy's roleplaying character, but I'm not sure."''

The page is long gone. Tom's site was more or less hammered with a combination of hits and hate mail in his guest book. The incident sparked allegations that the site ops were picking on Furries because they were gay. [[Lowtax]], the person responsible for the selection, stated that he chose the page because ''"it appeared to be written by a spastic 10 year old with ADD who was obsessed with becoming a magical humanoid fox and marrying another guy fox. If that's not a ripe candidate for an Awful Link, God help me, I don't know what is."'' He added: ''"And to all you furry-lovers out there: you can defend and rationalize and explain the act of pretending to be animals so you can have online sex with people all you want. The fact is that it makes for some hilarious websites, and prime ALOD links. If you don't want people making fun of your abnormal sexual fetishes, DON'T MAKE THEM PUBLIC."''

The resulting discussion has, unfortunately, now expired from their forums.

On August 15, 2005, WikiFur was invaded by goons from Something Awful only a few days after the project had been announced. Despite the "disclaimer" contained in the (now down) [http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1642602 initial thread] in the Something Awful Forums ("''DISCLAIMER: DO NOT INVADE THIS SHIT YOU FUCKERS. YOU KNOW THAT'S AGAINST THE RULES. JUST POINT AND LAUGH''",) vandalism ramped up when the link to the site was chosen as the SA ''Awful Link of the Day'' on the same day.

At one point, pages were being maliciously edited every 45 seconds. However, their attempt to stop WikiFur backfired; the actions of Something Awful actually increased the visibility of WikiFur, and this attracted more legitimate users than SA could bring vandals. In hindsight, their actions were actually beneficial.

:''[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]: As they say, the only bad publicity is no publicity!''

===Random acts of vandalism===

Since then, WikiFur has been the target of [http://furry.wikicities.com/index.php?title=WikiFur:Community_Central&action=history sporadic acts] [http://furry.wikicities.com/index.php?title=WikiFur&action=history of vandalism] from one or more goons, or at least people claiming to be SA goons. The frequency of some of the edits as well as the effort required to hijack proxies from around the world to get around administrative blocks does raise the question of why some Goons seem particularly obsessed with WikiFur.

== Furry involvement with Something Awful ==
=== The "Furry Concentration Camp" ===
In January 2003, [[JJcoolJ]], a now ex-forum member and somewhat excommunicated from the furry community, organized users from the now defunct #safurs channel on FurNet to spam an internal forum called "FYAD," or "Fuck You and Die" with furry porn. [[Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka|Lowtax]], after getting rather annoyed with having the obtuse-humored sub-forum filled with even more horrendous furry spam, created the Furry Concentration Camp, a sub-forum which acted much like FYAD, but disconnected furries from the main forum. The furries who spammed-- and many others who didn't, but were labeled anyway for humorous effect, such as user Procrasturbator-- were placed in this sub-forum because they were incredibly annoying. It also proved to be a place where members of FYAD could come in and ridicule other furries for their own humor. However, after a few months, the furry goons took the forum for themselves and turned it into their own "Furry FYAD." Much to the disturbance of SA forum regulars, [[Sibe]] under an alias on an account purchased by JJcoolJ and several other furries began to post their collections of furry porn there. In mid-summer [[Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka|Lowtax]] deleted the forum. Sibe and several of the furries participating in the furry concentration camp were later banned for being a nuisance.

=== #safurs ===
<nowiki>#safurs</nowiki> was an [[IRC]] channel on [[FurNet (IRC)|FurNet]] started by a [[furry|fur]] named [[Jazzy]] around 2002. His SA forum handle was JJcoolJ, which is a play on the name of a famous rap artist, [[Wikipedia:LL cool J|LLcoolJ]]. While on the SA forums, on various occasions-- mainly in the [[furry porn game]] when it came around in FYAD-- he would advertise the [[IRC]] network as well as the channel.

The channel became popular and well-known among the SA community when the Furry Concentration Camp (see above) was created. Many [[trolls]], [[goons]], other furries and [[anti-furries]] alike began to visit, stick around to chat, harass the users for being furries or use the channel as a make-shift portal to troll other channels on the IRC network.

In late 2003/early 2004, [[Snowpony]], an administrator of FurNet deemed Jazzy unstable and therefore unable to keep administrating his channel. Forcibly, ownership was passed on to [[Bobby]] (aka [[Squnq]]). After getting bored, Bobby passed the channel on to [[Verix]].

At this point, the FurNet administration stated their belief in other users utilizing <nowiki>#safurs</nowiki> as a doorway to [[trolling]] other channels on the network. Snowpony began monitoring the channel by idling and logging. Annoyed, the users of <nowiki>#safurs</nowiki> took on a rule of "no idling," which was typically only enforced on Snowpony, and [[Wikipedia:kickban|kick-banned]] Snowpony from the channel. Flustered, Snowpony used her administrative powers to unban herself and rejoin the channel, only to have it happen again. She then proceeded to ''akill'' those who had removed her from the channel and rejoined.

For a few days after this, <nowiki>#safurs</nowiki> began to mock and taunt Snowpony constantly, perpetually kick-banning her every time she joined the channel, causing another round of [[Wikipedia:akill|akills]] and rejoins to occur. Another admin, [[Simba]] caught wind of this and began to look into the situation between Snowpony and this IRC channel. Believing that Snowpony was out of line with her actions, in a rather infamous display of quitting her administrative job of FurNet, turned the tables and akilled Snowpony.

=== Furry "Goons" ===
A "furry [[goon]]" is someone who is actively involved with both the Something Awful Forum and the Furry Community. Some furry goons are given "immunity" at Something Awful, but the large majority simply keep quiet. An anonymous furry goon has estimated that 20% of SA members are furries, but it has been contended that this figure is too high. <!-- I received this figure in a PM from a furry goon, but I can't source it specifically because now I'm permabanned and I don't think he would like his identity revealed anyway, he would probably get banned or some BS like that. --[[User:Shii]] -->
==Why does it seem that so many furries are homosexual?==

Some take the position that a significantly larger proportion of the [[furry fandom]] is gay or bisexual compared to the general population, which is currently assumed to be 4-5% of the human population according to mainstream media.

[[Image:Furry Fandom-Kinsey Scale distribution.jpg|thumb|500px|A chart of the above table]]

==Why does it seem that so many furries are homosexual?==

Some take the position that a significantly larger proportion of the [[furry fandom]] is gay or bisexual compared to the general population, which is currently assumed to be 4-5% of the human population according to mainstream media.

'''''[http://www.arclight.net/asb/ Associated Student Bodies]''''', abbreviated as ASB, was a series of eight comic books produced by [[Lance Rund]] and [[Chris McKinley]] in the 1990's. It has become a staple comic of the [[Furry Fandom]] and most every furry art aficionado is familiar with it on some level.

The story of ASB revolves around a young lion, Daniel, that goes off to college to share a dorm with a wolf, Marcus, and an entire floor of predominantly homosexual roommates of various species. The series accounts Daniel's discovery of his own same-sex feelings for Marcus, dealing with being gay in a hostile environment, and reconciling his feelings with his family and faith.

The series has inspired yearly calendar addendums, print collections, and t-shirts. It was written by Lance Rund to be a complete story with a definitive beginning and end, and so it has not continued beyond its original eight issues. Before a recent reprint, issues of ASB could fetch $50 to $100 or more on various furry auction venues, such as [[FurBid]] and [[FurEAuction]].

On July 21, 1999, Lance announced work on an ASB soundtrack. As a sneak preview, he posted a link to a song by a professional musician and friend of his, Adam Browne, called "Secret Love" for which Lance had written the lyrics. The project never resulted in a finished product.
==LGBT issues and me==
===The attitudes of people around me to my sexuality===
Well as I've said before I'm a 16 year old gay male living in the United Kingdom. I recently came out to most people I know just before Christmas 2005 but at the time of writing this I still haven't come out to my parents. My parents are strong Catholics so I don't think they'd be very happy about my sexuality if I was to come out to them, and my stepdad has openly made homophobic comments in the past so I don't think telling him about my sexuality would be a good idea, and my mum uses words like "puff" and "puffy" and similar derogatory terms for LGBT people, and has laughed about LGBT issues as well so I don't know if she'd take it well either. I do plan on coming out to my parents eventually though.

====Friends====
All of my friends took my coming out well, some of them being gay, bisexual or lesbian themselves. One of my closest friends also came out as bisexual at the same time I came out as gay so he took it well as well. I also have quite a few other gay, bisexual or lesbian friends so I'm in a good crowd as far as sexuality goes.

====Other people at school====
A lot of people at school were OK when news about my sexuality got around, and took it well and weren't concerned with it. Other people were more hostile towards it and I've even been physically threatened several times at school over my sexuality, and when I've reported it most (and I emphasise most) of the teachers at my school have been pretty receptive over the problem and gave out fair punishments to people for homophobic threats. There is also quite a bit of verbal abuse that gets yelled around for it but I'm not really bothered about that because most of the people who yell abuse around for my sexuality are insecure over their own sexuality and well, the need to make comments over someone else's sex life shows they must be making up for lack of their own.

I frequently get asked by people I don't know at school who have heard rumours about me whether I'm gay or not, which I always respond to in the affermative, because I feel that you can't be out to your friends and those you trust and not other people in the same environment. Often they respond negatively to me answering yes, but they're usually 12 year olds or 13 year olds so am I really going to be bothered what they think about my sexuality or if they make physical threats?

Other people at my school don't even believe me when I say I'm gay and have the impression that I'm attention seeking. What I say to that is this: I've been threatened over my sexuality, I have people constantly making homophobic remarks at me for my sexuality, I risk someone from school outing me to my parents, and I risked losing the respect of some of my closest friends when I came out. Yet I still say I'm gay. Does this sound like attention seeking to you?

====Other people around me====

Other people in my environment who are mostly casual aquaintances I don't know enough to call friends, or are the family or parents of friends who know that I'm gay have mostly been ok with my sexuality but with an occasional "How can you know at your age?" or a "I'll prey for you" if they're a more religious type. I'm not too bothered about the more negative ones though, the ones who think that it's impossible to know their sexuality at my age are pretty ignorant, and the ones who think that my sexuality is something wrong and needs prayer to cure it are even more ignorant.

===My own feelings on my sexuality===
I know that some LGBT people are displeased or even ashamed of who they are, and I think this is sad. People can't choose their sexual orientation (In my opinion, which I intend to keep out of Wikipedia articles because some people feel that sexuality is at least partly choice) so being ashamed of your sexual orientation is to me, being ashamed of having blue eyes or similar. On a similar note, you could ask a rhetorical question; "do people with blue eyes openly display pride over the fact that they have blue eyes?" Well no, but have people with blue eyes ever been persecuted for who they are or still experiance discrimination and prejudice for who they are? No, they haven't.

Personally I have to say I'm quite proud and comfortable being gay, however it did take some time to come to terms with the fact that I may never have children.

==Music==

[[Furry]] subculture receives stereotyping as most any other groups do at some point in time. Stereotypes can arise from virtually any facet of a group or demographic, depending partly on trends within the demographic, and partly on the experiences and biases of the viewer who is framing a stereotypical model in which to fit individuals. As with many stereotypes, Furry stereotypes can have some truth to them. Being based upon simplified mental generalizations however, they can also fail to hold up under closer scrutiny of a wider sampling of furry [[:Category:Culture|culture]].

== The Furry Stereotype ==

Furry fandom member demographics have traditionally appeared to cross over heavily with the science-fiction, fantasy, computer, and video-game geek worlds. It seems in part because of this, the stereotype of the Furry fan often bears a close resembelence to general stereotype of the nerd and/or geek: a hairy, overweight male, often unwashed, and living in his parents' basement while surfing for pornography on the Internet.

The particulars of furry fandom and culture, involving less common interests and what outsiders frequently consider strange, unusual, or bizarre takes on the wider fantasy and funny animal genre, have led to the Furry geek stereotype being presented as much more extreme than typical geeks. For example, one list of some extra stereotypical points that have often been attached to Furry fandom specifically would paint most furries as:

* [[gay]] or [[bisexual]]
* overweight
* [[zoophile]]s
* [[plushophile]]s
* [[fursuiter]]s
* socially inept
* usually homely or ugly
* misanthropic
* unpopular

Some people have observed that these common portrayals of the fandom are based on several factors, such as the apparent larger than average percentage of individuals in it who are gay, bi, lesbian, or transsexual - a point which by itself is debated within the fandom. It is also pointed out, that the image of a Furry fan who is mainstream, has mostly unremarkable interests and hobbies, and sociable is not as titillating to the sensationalism seekers in the general public, or groups such as [[Something Awful]]. And even in the case of people who are Furries and also happen to pursue erotic art, engage in activities such as sexual [[plushophilia]], or are [[Furry_lifestyler|Lifestylers]], it has also been asserted that most are, in reality, much more responsible for themselves and the impression they give of the fandom than those who dig for examples to support stereotypes will often admit.

As a result, no matter how many furries there are who would fit the picture of the typical and less controversial, those fans who take part in less common activities, exhibit outrageous or unwise behavior, or do provide relatively rare fit with the most extreme stereotypes have more often than not been singled out and held up as the symbol of Furry fandom. The dynamics of stereotyping often result in this being all it takes for outsiders to see "the case being proven".

== Stereotypes within the fandom ==

Within Furry fandom itself, there are also stereotypes - some of these are the external stereotypes of Furry, circulated by Furry fans who may wish to distance themselves from the unpopular image of furries. Others are specific to the internal culture of the fandom, and are often based on the favored animal or species association of a given individual, especially among those fans who have a [[Personal_Furry|personal furry]] or role-play frequently. These stereotypes are sometimes based on combinations of the behavior of the Furry fan him or herself and the stereotypical attributes of various animals (not all of which may, in fact, be accurate to the factual traits of particular animals). Some examples would include:

* [[Fox]]es (Male) are often gay, overly sexualized, and not bright.
* Foxes (Female) are usually male players, even more overly sexualized, also not bright.
* [[Equine]]s are "size queens", oversexed, into bondage and pony play.
* [[Dragon]]s are arrogant, pretentious, and followers of wonky mysticism. If female, are fangirls of [[Wikipedia:Anne_McCaffrey|Anne McCaffrey's]] Pern.
* [[Gryphon]]s are obsessed fans of [[Wikipedia:Mercedes Lackey|Mercedes Lackey]] fiction.
* [[Rabbit]]s are highly oversexed.
* [[Wolves]] behave arrogant and superior, or like big foxes.

==Biography==
===Early Life and Education===
I was born in a town called Worksop which is in the [[United Kingdom]] in the year [[1990]]. I am now 16 years old. I spent the first few years of my school life going to the Holy Family school in that town until I was roughly 8 or 9 years old when my mother got engaged to a man living in [[Liverpool]] city in the north west of England. I started going to the St Mary's Much Woolton school which is close to where I live. When I finished that school when I was 11 I started at the local catholic secondary school St Francis Xavier's college where I still attend but am in my final year before finishing my GCSE course.
===Spare Time and Personal Life===
In my spare time I'm a drummer, and also play some synthesiser, however poorly it is. I also enjoy using computers and the internet, and enjoy playing computer and viseo games. I particuarly enjoy strategy games and first person shooters like [[Deus Ex]].

==LGBT issues and me==
===The attitudes of people around me to my sexuality===

====Friends====

====Other people at school====

====Other people around me====

==Music==

I study music at GCSE and I play both the drum kit and some synthesiser but not often and not very well. I usually do most things listening to music as well.

Mostly I listen to rock music of various subgenres, and electronica.

==LGBT issues and me==
===The attitudes of people around me to my sexuality===
Well as I've said before I'm a 16 year old gay male living in the United Kingdom. I recently came out to most people I know just before Christmas 2005 but at the time of writing this I still haven't come out to my parents. My parents are strong Catholics so I don't think they'd be very happy about my sexuality if I was to come out to them, and my stepdad has openly made homophobic comments in the past so I don't think telling him about my sexuality would be a good idea, and my mum uses words like "puff" and "puffy" and similar derogatory terms for [[LGBT]] people, and has laughed about LGBT issues as well so I don't know if she'd take it well either. I do plan on coming out to my parents eventually though.

====Friends====

====Other people at school====

====Other people around me====

==Music==

I study music at GCSE and I play both the [[drum kit]] and some [[synthesiser]] but not often and not very well. I usually do most things listening to music as well.

Mostly I listen to [[rock music]] of various subgenres, and [[electronica]].

I'm a 16 year old [[gay]] male currently living in the city of Liverpool in the United Kingdom. ==Biography==
===Early Life and Education===
===Spare Time and Personal Life===
In my spare time I'm a drummer, and also play some synthesiser, however poorly it is. I also enjoy using computers and the internet, and enjoy playing computer and viseo games. I particuarly enjoy strategy games and first person shooters like [[Deus Ex]].

==LGBT issues and me==
===The attitudes of people around me to my sexuality===

====Friends====

====Other people at school====

====Other people around me====

==Music==

I study music at GCSE and I play both the [[drum kit]] and some [[synthesiser]] but not often and not very well. I usually do most things listening to music as well.

Mostly I listen to [[rock music]] of various subgenres, and [[electronica]].
