Hey.. on my wikifur if you read.. it seems there is no data on the aritcle

== User:65.30.52.215 ==

Hello, could his edits to my wikifur page be removed of trolling so it can't be taken back. Thanks
http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Tuqiri {{unsigned|Tuqiri}}

:The vandal edits made by 65.30.52.215 were reverted less than half an hour after they were made, and the user warned not to do it again. If there are any problems in future someone will block that IP address if necessary.--[[User:Higgs Raccoon|Higgs Raccoon]] 11:19, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

He is back filling my page with lies about the apparently "Stolen artwork" could you please lock it?
-Tuqiri

:The last edits made anonymously from 65.30.52.215 were in August, and I am not able to tell if any logged-in user has that IP address. Also, the "stolen artwork" section seems reasonable as references with pretty clear evidence were supplied. I'll put a 24-hour lock on it, though, due to the current edit-warrning--[[User:Higgs Raccoon|Higgs Raccoon]] 13:04, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

There is no reason why it should be there look at the discussion the artist herself wants it removed its the same person who did it since he used the term stolen artwork last time he trashed it

== User:208.102.73.249 ==

Just wondering... Did IP user [[Special:Contributions/208.102.73.249|208.102.73.249]] do anything to earn a block beyond creating a single article with a few gibberish characters? That seems to me to be more on the level of experimentation/sandboxing, and an "assume good faith" response would be to delete the article, post a reply suggesting that they use the sandbox for further experimentation, and no block. (A block would more likely be appropriate if they had been warned previously, had created or modified multiple articles, or if the added content was otherwise inappropriate such as trolling or spamlinks.) --[[User:Mwalimu|mwalimu]] 19:22, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

:I might have "assumed good faith" if it was just gibberish. The fact that the title of the article they created was an [http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=queef offensive term] pushed it over the line into vandalism in my opinion.--[[User:Higgs Raccoon|Higgs Raccoon]] 19:31, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

== Please Remove Me ==

Hi there, I was wondering if you could please remove me (xsystm47) from this site? I used to be a part of this fandom in high school but now I don't have the time to contribute to it. Thanks a lot.

--[[User:Xsystm47|xsystm47]]

:Hello,
:Even if you no longer have time for the fandom, it wouldn't be a problem leaving the article active, or amending the text to indicate you're no longer part of the fandom. If you prefer to have it removed, can I ask if you still have access to any of the old accounts that were listed in the article (LiveJournal, Fur Affinity, etc)? If you could go to one of those and put a note somewhere asking for deletion, it would serve to verify your identity. If you no longer have access to those accounts, you might try speaking directly to an admin at the Wikifur IRC channel: http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/WikiFur:IRC --[[User:Higgs Raccoon|Higgs Raccoon]] 19:09, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

This is Siegfried--I just found that not only is there a page for me, but it also had my birthdate, links to my LJ, weather station, and other items that are not directly associated with the fandom. That's not acceptable. I've blanked out my page--please remove it entirely and do not restore it.{{unsigned|71.203.102.43}}

I don't have the time so I'm going to leave the temporary block stand for now.--[[User:Higgs Raccoon|Higgs Raccoon]] 00:33, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

== Priest22 ==

Regarding the banning of [[Special:Contributions/Priest22|Priest22]] and the image he had uploaded which you subsequently deleted, he is probably the IP user who attempted to update [[Manawolf]] with [http://en.wikifur.com/w/index.php?title=Manawolf&diff=297950&oldid=276688 this edit], which I reverted. I did in fact check out the DVD link from that edit and did not see any clear indication that the person portrayed was Manawolf; it's possible but beyond them having the same first name (Sarah) I couldn't find anything on the site to make that connection. Even the word 'furry' in the DVD title appears to refer to the actress having never shaved rather than as any sort of reference to the fandom.

Even if it is Manawolf I doubt this belongs on Wikifur. The DVD cover is inappropriate regardless, and the fact that someone appeared in an adult video is in my opinion controversial information that needs good references and needs a good reason to be publicized here.

My only concern is whether giving Priest22 an infinite ban is appropriate in case it turns out that really is Manawolf in the DVD. If it's not her, then yes. If it is her, we should assume good faith and treat it as a case trying to post controversial/derogatory information. And if we don't know, well... I'm not sure. --[[User:Mwalimu|mwalimu]] 18:11, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

== Stamping out vandalism ==
First, thank you for reverting the vandalism made to one of my articles from an unregistered IP. Though I monitor these articles, you caught it even before I did. Which brings me to a question... right now I'm new to WikiFur, but I support the concept and ideals. I'm also online an insane amount of the time. If I were to want to join the edit patrol at some point in the future, is there a "formal" application process (as there is for wiki admins), or can one just jump in and help? Thanks! --[[User:CodyDenton|CodyDenton]] 08:28, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

:Hi, Cody. There's no formal process for joining those who patrol the recent edits reverting vandalism. This being a wiki, anyone can edit anything, so if you have the time to spare to occasionally glance at the recent changes list, and feel like reverting any vandal edits, then... go for it! I'm sure everyone here would welcome any effort you can put in to keeping things tidy!--[[User:Higgs Raccoon|Higgs Raccoon]] 17:16, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

Hi Higgs, thanks for the info. A few more questions, if I may? First, I noticed that you added [[Template:ContributorU]] to my friend [[User:Mishi|Mishi's]] user page. I almost had done that a few hours ago myself, but backed out of it since I wasn't sure that a general (non-admin) editor was permitted to edit another User: page. (Ref. [[User Talk:Spirou]]) So for instance, in this case, would it have been OK to add the ContributorU, particularly since Mishi and I are friends and work collaboratively? Or is it best to just avoid the User: page minefield? ;-) Also, with regard to the content spammer earlier that you blocked, I had just blanked the page and put an edit comment as to why. Would it have been better to use a Speedy Deletion tag instead? Thanks for your patient help. --[[User:CodyDenton|CodyDenton]] 11:10, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

== Thank You ==

Thank you for moving those pages, I was unaware of the importance of that moving, instead of C/P. --[[User:LokiWuff|LokiWuff]] 21:53, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

Howdy again Higgs, thanks for the edits on [[Rehgan|Rehgan's]] page. The formatting tweaks look nice, and I don't know '''how''' I managed to forget the categories and stub tag, LOL... Thanks for the keen eye. --[[User:CodyDenton|CodyDenton]] 17:58, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

==Skiltek==
You deleted my character page while I was working on it in order to rename it after I had already renamed it.

This resulted in my losing half an hour of edit work.

If you're going to delete a page, please check if it has any recent revisions.

[[User:Skiltek|Tek Skiltaire]] 20:12, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

:Skiltek, you deleted the contents of "Skiltek" by changing it to a redirect to "Foxmajik", and then started a new page there. That is not how things are done here as it destroys the edit history of the original article. I have corrected this by restoring it and moving it instead - now the edit history is retained. Having moved the article, I copied over the text from your last edit on Foxmajik (made 16 October 2010, at 20:01) so nothing was lost.
:Also, conversations should go on User Talk pages (like this one), not Article Talk pages (like [[Talk:Higgs Raccoon]] where you originally posted this). The former are for general discussions with a particular User. The latter are reserved for discussions only about the content of corresponding Articles. --[[User:Higgs Raccoon|Higgs Raccoon]] 20:31, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

== Please Remove Me ==

Hey i was wondering if you could delete my page, it seems people keep on adding to it even though im not in the fandom for over a year now, and my roomate is all over my page saying its me. so yea, kindly delete my page http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/JaxHusky

Thanks.
Jack{{unsigned|24.80.112.31}}

:Normally we make an attempt to verify someone's identity before deleting their page, so as to prevent third parties from impersonating people and having pages removed. What I usually do is get them to leave a note like "please delete me from wikifur" on (for example) their Fur Affinity page. But if you *are* JaxHusky you've been banned from there so that won't work. You might try heading to the WikiFur IRC channel (http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/WikiFur:IRC) and seeing if there's an admin there with whom you can talk directly.--[[User:Higgs Raccoon|Higgs Raccoon]] 00:09, 21 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi, I was just wondering what kind of spam was being posted to this page? It either of the owners of FurPlanet so I was wondering what was up.--[[User:FuzzWolf|FuzzWolf]] 23:45, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

:The page [[Template_talk:FurPlanet]] was hit twice today by spam. Just a generic piece of text and a link to an external site not relevant to the page. They've been deleted, so you needn't worry about them (Spam happens from time to time).--00:09, 21 October 2010 (UTC)

== New to Wikifur ==

Hey there,

I noticed that you added me to Wikifur as a stub. http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Dakota_Jaymes
I was wondering what I can do to contribute to it?

And thanks for adding me to the database.

-Dakota

:Hi Dakota, welcome to WikiFur.

:What might you add to the article about yourself? If you look at other people's articles, they may give you some ideas. One thing that occurs to me is a few sentences on what your fursona is. (You describe yourself as a "Kurasune", but I was unable to work out exactly what that is, except it's probably part-kitsune.) Perhaps also describe when and how you came to find the furry fandom.

:An image of your fursona wouldn't be a bad addition, either, if you have one you care to upload.--[[User:Higgs Raccoon|Higgs Raccoon]] 22:45, 13 November 2010 (UTC)

Higgs,
I placed a journal entry on my FA User Page requesting you to please lock my WikiFur page and delete my account. Just doing some clean up.

== Dumb Question ==

Hey again,

Out of curiosity, is it okay to post a reference sheet of my character on my personal page so others can see, and if so, how can I go about doing that?

[[User:DJaymes|DJaymes]] 19:30, 26 December 2010 (UTC)

:Hello, Dakota,
:By "personal page", do you mean [[User:DJaymes|your personal user page]], or [[Dakota Jaymes|the article about you]]? In either case (or both) the inclusion of a reference sheet would be fine. To include any image, you'll need to upload it first. You'll need to be logged in to do this, then look to the column on the left side of the screen - under "toolbox" there's a link that says "Upload file".

:After you've uploaded a file (it's pretty straightforward, but remember to give the file a ''meaningful'' name), it can be included in an article by inserting some text like:
:<nowiki>[[Image:Filename.jpg|right|thumb|200px|Caption text]]
</nowiki>

== Please remove my page ==

As you have probably noticed, [[Rorroh|my page]] is a complete mess. The circumstances for making it in the first place were a little iffy, and the original contents were something I was actually less than comfortable with, even though I was the one who supplied the orginal information. I'm very self-conscious, so after a bit of arguing (with myself, no less. ;)), I decided to just try to kill the weed at it's roots. Could you please delete my page? I have a Fur Affinity account, a WordPress account, and even a Twitter, so I can very easily prove I am he. Or, if it is at all possible, could you remove the edit history? I would actually prefer the removal of the history rather than total deletion.

Thank you,

- Rorroh

:Hello, Rorroh,
:Sometimes, if someone is requesting personal exclusion, I get them to leave a comment to that effect on their FA or wherever, but as you created the article in the first place I'll take that as enough proof of identity. I've deleted the article and locked it. If you change your mind in future, and want it unlocked so edits can resume, you can ask any admin to do it.--[[User:Higgs Raccoon|Higgs Raccoon]] 22:11, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

::Thank you, I can rest much easier now.

== My apologies ==

I apologize sincerely for any inconvenience experienced. It's just I've been trying to prove to some people that that article is valid for this site. So they required changes, and it goes on, so anyways sorry for any trouble I may have caused. I will work on becoming more technically apt. ==Getting an article to "conform to wiki standards"==

Hi there, could you please tell me what I need to do to get http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Snowpocalypse "to conform to Wiki standards"? Originally I was told I needed to make it longer to contain more information, and when I did an Admin deleted it saying "the information was redundant as it was listed on the external website". Help me please? We only have a month before this event and I don't want this sitting in an archive not displayed to the general public for any longer!

Thanks!

== Please Remove Me ==

Hey i was wondering if you could delete my page, it seems people keep on adding to it even though im not in the fandom for over a year now, and my roomate is all over my page saying its me. so yea, kindly delete my page http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/JaxHusky

Thanks.
Jack{{unsigned|24.80.112.31}}

== FurPlanet Talk page ==

== New to Wikifur ==

== Dumb Question ==

</nowiki>

== My apologies ==

I apologize sincerely for any inconvenience experienced. It's just I've been trying to prove to some people that that article is valid for this site. So they required changes, and it goes on, so anyways sorry for any trouble I may have caused. I will work on becoming more technically apt. Sincerely, [[User:Perservere|Perservere]] 20:26, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

Thanks!
