The Anthropomorphics Track at I-Con was organized by co-track-leaders Jon Cornetto and JBadger. Dr. Samuel Conway (aka. Uncle Kage) was a regular centerpiece of I-CON's anthropomorphic programming from 2003 to 2009.
High Tail Hall, also known as HTH, is an adult Flash animation game created by the artist Crowchild and his studio HTH Studios (formerly Pendragon Entertainment).

In it, the player's character (who is male), can explore the setting of "High Tail Hall", which is a strip club and bar that has recently opened for business. While exploring the place, a player can talk to and/or seduce, or be seduced, by the furry characters in the hall.

Other active elements on this Flash game include an interactive news bulletin board, tip jar, a suggestion box, and several hidden locations and secrets.

High Tail Hall 1.0 (1.5)
High Tail Hall began its existence as a discussion on the Yiffstar messageboards. Crowchild, the creator of Pendragon Entertainment, announced he would be making a flash akin to The Tail Underground, seeing as updates to it were sporadic at best. This announcement included a statement that people who wished to be in the animation need only ask.

Some time after the announcement, the finished product, version 1.5, was released.

Characters
Fully interactive characters:
*Luca Shoal, an androgynous male fox. Luca is a maid for HTH and wears a "French maid outfit". He is owned by his player, Luca Shoal (Pendragon Entertainment holds the rights to the remaining characters.)
*Tanya Winters, a female Zebra. Tanya is a barmaid and serves guests (in more ways than one).
*Zoe Mallari, a female cheetah. Zoe is one of the HTH strippers.

Other characters:
*Maxwell Moore, a black male tomcat (text only). Maxwell is apparently the owner and manager of HTH and serves guests as a bartender. He seems to have many sexual relationships with the strippers.
*Boris, an old male crow (text only). Boris is from Russia and is one of Maxwell's regular customers.
*A female kangaroo and an avian character. The kangaroo (who is evidently a stripper) is having sex with a raven (or crow) character in the basement of the bar.
*There is also a crow in the far left upstairs room, but never does anything but read a book.

(Note: These are the characters that appear in Version 1.5. Characters from Version 1.7 are not included on this list.)

Locations
High Tail Hall has a bar with an outside balcony on the main floor, private rooms on the second floor, a dance floor and bar downstairs off the ground floor. There is also a secret entryway on the second floor, a hidden envelope containing erotic art and a codeword. In Version 1.7 the player has the option of going outside.

When in the storage room you can click on a hanger that will take you to a room to enter the codeword E1B2 (letters must be in caps)or you right-click and press play, That brings you to this weird scene with red circles with the numbers 13, 85, 27.

While outside, clicking on the fourth tree from the right, will trigger a cutscene of a tryst between a male herp and a female faun.

High Tail Hall 1.7
Version 1.7 offered the opportunity to add your own character/fursona to the game engine for a fee. Unfortunately, a fire broke out in the Pendragon Entertainment studio, destroying the computer with all the commissions on it, and causing thousands of dollars worth of damage to the building.fact

All Pendragon Entertainment projects were suspended, but full refunds were given to everyone who commissioned a character. The improvements that were being added to version 1.7 were:

*A redesigned Tanya Winters.
*The ability to venture outside the pub, where one could find a non-working Stargate, and a hidden spot with an orcish character and satyr.
*Jade Felicia Lanely, a female blue fox (incomplete full interaction. Right-clicking "play" on the character shows some of the intended interaction, before the sequence abruptly ends.)

1.7 was recently dropped, and now only exists in an archived version.

High Tail Hall 2.0
<!-- All updates to HTH 2.0 are to be added to this article talk page-->

High Tail Hall 2.0 is the latest installment of the HTC series; as in the prior settings, a player can explore the newly renovated "High Tail Hall" strip club and bar, which has undergone some extreme renovations.

From March 2008 to December 2008, several new characters with numerous new adult character-to-player-to-character interactions have been constantly added to the game's content. According to Crowchild's FA page, an update was scheduled for October of 2009, but it did not occur. Crowchild resurfaced on February 21st 2010 promising an update within three weeks.

New areas of the game can be seen in the overview map, but are currently offline, so the character is limited to certain zones, characters and interactions
<!-- All updates to HTH 2.0 are to be added to this article talk page-->
Characters
Fully interactive characters:
* Bella, a female polar bear (voice acting).
* Rio Davis, a female hybrid (voice acting by Tyvara Panther).
* Ginger, a hermaphrodite cat (temp. inactive).
* Jezel, a female husky.
* Shelly, a female collie.
* Shemyay, a female jackal (temp. inactive/off game).
* Cindy, a female rabbit.
* Kristy, a female cat.
* Aleta, a female parrot (voice acting).
* Tanya Winters, a female Zebra (from HTH 1.5. Planned reintroduction).

Other characters:
* ?, male dinosaur (Bartender, new owner?).
* Bar group, male duck with three female swans.
* ?, a non-anthropomorphic parrot on a stand.
* ?, a female rat.

High Tail Hall Classic
On Halloween 2007, Crowchild released an image of the beta of the bar scene and a sound test of Max from an upcoming remake of High Tail Hall 1, currently titled High Tail Hall Classic.

HTHC will be total remake of the original game, and will feature the updated character models from HTH 2.0. It will also include voice acting.

The game currently has no set release date, and will be released onto Fur Affinity and Newgrounds.

High Tail Hall: Twilight Cavern
A fan created spinoff of the original High Tail Hall is on the works, being designed by an artist by the name Jack Salem, which will consist of established and new characters and locations. It has been announced that there will be approximately 12 female characters, and 6 different places to explore, as well as an in-depth plot.fact

As far as male characters, only one has been announced, and recently it was also announced that this version of the game is focused around heterosexual relations only. There will be a music score, mostly jazz tracks, written by Jack himself. This project was announced in 2006, with the only releases so far being images of characters and as of Christmas Day 2006, a Beta Preview with animation.fact

Upon the creator of Twilight Cavern hearing that the original High Tail Hall has come back into creation, the Twilight Cavern project has been announced to be a separate endeavor. Jack has stated that Twilight Cavern will be made, but it will no longer have any ties to High Tail Hall, save for any appearing special characters, such as Luca Shoal.fact

Jack has stated that he is indeed working on the project to the message-board Yiffstar, where the project was first announced.

Jack has started a commission service as a mini-fund raiser to support the re-creation of the Twilight Cavern Flash project, as posted in the miscellaneous Sub-forum at the Yiffstar community. He is establishing a new website and will be taking commissions for new characters shortly.

OpenHTH
OpenHTH is an open source (as open as flash files can be) project based around High Tail Hall 1.7, the goal is to vastly improve the game, by enhancing existing content, but also adding to it.

The current version of OpenHTH is 1.0.2 which so far is only dialogue enhancements, replacing incorrect spelling and grammar, and typographical mistakes in the original HTH 1.7, some ambient music, and a few background animation enhancements.

Users are welcome to download the latest version and help add or enhance it, or download the base version (which is just the editable flash files of HTH 1.7) and try their hand at doing their own mod.

Phases
#Introduction to editing stage: which is to replace all the dialogue, while pertaining to some sort of persistent back story, to give it more of an atmospheric and immersive feel to it (as far as Flash goes anyway), part of the first phase is also to extend the length of the dialogue, and have somewhat more of an interactive conversation, to set it up as more of a game for later stages, then finally after all that is done fix any animation errors, that may get accidentally introduced from the editing.
#Technical and creative theory stage: which is to review the dialogue, plan where the game is headed, write up some design docs for planned expanded areas and characters, write the main and back story, figure out the character's persona and write the dialogue around that (creative writing class finally pays off :P).
#Technical backend stage: which is to create a backend engine for the game from scratch, which will contain your basic RPG elements, the journal, the inventory, etc.
#Content creation stage: which is of course, is to create new art and animation using what we planned out in the second phase to dictate what exactly we need to do, as well as sound effects, and creating a few musical scores.
#Putting it together stage: which is to link the content to the backend, define what its supposed to do, whats supposed to happen with each conversation path etc, put in the right dialogue for the right character, get the journal to update on certain events, etc etc.
#Testing stage: which is to obviously test what we have, see what works as intended, and to refine the game, correcting and fixing any errors, mistakes, bugs, etc.

Then finally it's finished, or is it? No not really, that 6 phase process can be repeated as many times, and with each lot of 6 phases can add as little or as much content as we please at the time.

Users can and are encouraged to contribute to this process, and critique upon whatever we have at any given point in time on the OpenHTH forums.

Controversy
Early versions of High Tail Hall prior to version 1.1 included an uncredited clip of Depeche Mode's song "Personal Jesus." This clip was removed from 1.2 on.

Some people believe that High Tail Hall was inspired by The Tail Underground, and vice versa. In fact, both Ian R. Soulfox and Pendragon Entertainment created their animations independently, with High Tail Hall being made after Tail Underground. Ian has mentioned that he doesn't mind the HTH, and that he enjoys its existence.

*(12-12-09) I think the " Up to the minute" part the fur affinity link at the bottom should be edited. The guy hasnt touched his page since he phased into another plane of existence (again) two months ago.

* (5-12-09) Still no updates. any idea if crowchild is even working on this any more?
** (15-5-09) Hopefully yes. I understand it's hard trying to balance real world problems and the internet..but can't we get some sort of status update at least?
*** (5-14-09): Yeah, at least something telling us hes still working on it, not even an update, just something on the site saying '(date) sorry I've not updated in so long, but I haven't forgotten about you!'
**** Balancing real world problems with the internet? Sounds like an excuse for lazy I have used at least once.

* (5-27-09) We have been working on HTH without David and have a new character "Marissa" ready to be updated into the game but are waiting for Dave to come back. We also fixed some of Bella's problems ( no longer will there be no noise from her after you press "MORE" and the immediate cumshot is a problem due to missing sprites.) <-- These will be fixed WHEN DAVID RETURNS and we also have established our ground for the HTH 1.7 Remake.
** (5-28-09): Well thanks! I had just told myself that I wasn't going to check again if there weren't any updates and I would give up, but now I think I shall continue to check for updates! Great work! Now the question is if we can get a timeframe as to when he will be back, days, weeks, hours, etc?
** (6-9-09): So when is David returning? Any ideas anyone? I was under the impression that he was getting back soon. Have any updates been made? I don't check their website, I just check here. User:24.56.26.12
*** I'm guessing that David isn't the only one who puts all of this together. Coding, speech trees and audio are (I hope to God) outsourced by other people. Apart from the artwork and actual access to the project (which I'm sure he won't trust to too many people for fear of losing it), the people he works with keep the work he needs to do to a minimum.
***(1-20-10): ....that all was said half a year ago. Let's all get our guns together and go rescue David from his captors in the jungle.

* (6-20-2009): Whoever is adding to this, look at the situation this way, hes in his early 20's, economy had a blow on everyone. solutions to financial problems: he is working to support himself and keep job. conflict: he is subjected to procrastinate on his site. we must wait for an mutual feeling that that money is not trouble, no update in months. a friend i know is an artist. i want her to draw me something but my friend cannot. Why? because my friend is having internal problems i do not know about. this comes from family. So with that said, remember the nature of an artist: they can create ONLY when they know the time is right. have patience for his work. hes is very busy in his life right now... --Wolf_of_Legend
** (6-24-09): Its not so much that we're impatient (at least not me), its that we haven't heard anything from him for so long. I understand that he is going through some troubled times, most of us are. What I just want is something on his site saying that he is still working on it and hasn't abandoned the project, maybe a weekly or even monthly update saying he hasn't abandoned it. I completely understand it may take a long time before the next update, but I at least want to know hes still working on it. It only takes about 5-10 minutes to do that, and if he does it monthly, I'm sure he could find a few minutes to just say a few words on his website.

* (7-15-09): Came across this. May be useful, perhaps, to those of us who know what they're doing, and perhaps may provide a method of contact? http://whois.domaintools.com/hthstudios.com

* (7-30-09): Surprised no one mentioned this. Crowchild's FA page was updated with a journal entry mentioning an update to High Tail Hall 2 in August. It's possible it will be delayed further, but he states that the update will take the game from 20% done to 55% done.

* (8-31-09): FAIL.
** Agreed. 71.241.163.72 05:05, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

* (9-6-09): So whatever happened to the "These will be fixed WHEN DAVID RETURNS" statement posted 5/27/09? He made a post on his FA page back in July, so obviously he has returned. Why is it then that the game still hasn't been updated? Was that statement a blatant lie, or is there something we should know about?

* It is amazing what a little patience can do, lets just see if The team can get themselves read, they already know if they update, their is going to be a huge server spike or a crash. Which ever we, the people, cause first. Also plz Fonate towards them, it would benefit us all. TY verymush K@Z

* (9/27/09): Crow has made another journal entry stating that the update should happen in one or two weeks. He also explains that his hard drive "shit itself" in August, and his work schedule has "been horrible this last month." Not quite sure if that means this update will be late as well. Only time will tell.

* (10/14/09): Do I smell another fail incoming?
** (10/15/09): It has already arrived. He's almost three weeks behind now. I honestly won't be surprised if over a month passes by with no update. Hell, I won't be surprised if it arrives in 2010.

(10/15/09): There was a folder on the HTH server which could be accessed publicly, since removed. There were prototype scenes in that folder, which included a building that said "High Tail Hall" at the enterance (outside), had a reception desk inside, had 6 or 8 floors accessible by an elevator (forget which), and had two club areas. There was also another scene with a beach area with lockers. One of the lockers on the bottom row had a cell phone with racey/nude pictures you can pick up. I believe there were two rows of green lockers, five or six wide. There may have been a shower area.

I know I sound like a troll who's trying really hard, but I'm not. I saw the .swf files with prototype scenes, and it included some scenes already in HTH2. The pre-existing scenes weren't different from what's already in HTH2. Don't believe me? Just wait until the game gets updated. You'll crap bricks. - Anonymous Lurker

** Link or GTFO
*** Agreed with above until that day occurs... hmm i seem to be having deja vu has this happened before?
*** It was http://hthstudios.com/games/hth2build2/ , but like I said, it has since been removed. All you get now is a 404 page not found error. You can still access the base folder, http://hthstudios.com/games/ , but there's no trace of . In retrospect, I seriously wish I had been smart enough to save the .swf files so I could show others after the fact. Too late for that now. :-\ - Anonymous Lurker
**** Pre-edit: Wait a minute, Google Cache still has the folder here: http://74.125.95.132/search?q=cache:tBy8p1Yb22MJ:www.hthstudios.com/games/hth2build2/+%22hth2build2%22 You can still see how the files are named respective to what I described them as ("HTH2_SECRET AREA-BEACH SEC.swf", for example). I'll look and see if I can find a site which caches .swf files, but if not, this is the best I can do. - Anonymous Lurker
***(10/31/09): This might interest you guys: http://www.hthstudios.com/images/?C=M;O=D Look at the date of the Launch.png file. So it /is/ being worked on, just...slowly.
**** He made an update to his FA page on that very day. That update is where he claimed it would take him "two weeks" to release the new version with massive changes. It's been more than twice that.
*****Definitely abandoned again.
******Again? I don't think he's worked on it in a loooong time my friend.

Even though there has not been a new release of HTH2 in a year or so, is there any chance someone can create a HTH2 version history? There was one way back when HTH2 had it's own page and it would be helpful to know which version is which when trudging through the internet, and especially know what's new if a new version is released. - Leviathan

In case anyone was wondering, the site is down, ie, he has stopped paying for it and this project is totally done.
*The site was down temporarily due to one of the hosting servers' hard drives failing; several furry sites were affected at the same time. The files were automatically restored on 20 January 2010 from the host's most recent prior backup, which lead some individuals to believe that the site/game had been updated, but the content should be the same, barring any broken code (which sometimes happens). To my knowledge, Crowchild/Dave has every intention of continuing to update and maintain the HTHStudios.com website as well as provide updates and the eventual (but hopefully soon) release of the much anticipated Rio DVD. I have no concrete information on his plans, but can at least confirm the fact that he is alive and has been truthful about his situation in his FA journals. -ScullyRaptor 04:36, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
Vaporware?
Should we add this to the list of vaporware?

* Wikipedia says vaporware "implies unwarranted optimism, an as yet unannounced abandonment of a project, or sometimes even deception; that is, it may imply that the announcer knows that product development is in too early a stage to support responsible statements about its completion date, feature set, or even feasibility. [...] the makers have a genuine intention to create their product, even if it ultimately never materializes." This should've been declared vaporware months ago.
** Agreed. Duke Nukem 3D will be out before this.
*** You mean Duke Nukem Forever, right?
**** Yeah I totally spaced out on that one. ha...

Honestly, if the new year passes without an update (which it will) I think this should be added to the vaporware list... Stop giving people hope already!

He is also the creator of Rio, a wolf/fox character who he is currently developing a DVD project around.

High Tail Hall
Crowchild is best known for the creation of the Flash game High Tail Hall. He gained massive exposure in late 2004, when he launched the project directly onto Newgrounds flash portal.

Since then, High Tail Hall has gained over 5.8 million hits. High Tail Hall 2 undergoes periodic updates and expansions, with the next major update planned to release in August 2009. Interestingly, Crowchild has had no formal training in using Adobe Flash.
ScullyRaptor, whose real name is Emilie Pellenz, was born July 10th, 1982, in Port Jefferson, New York. Within the anthropomorphic fandom, she is primarily an artist. Her artwork was first seen on FurBid, and then the VCL, but her website had existed earlier than that, in various forms.
Solange Regine is a Megaraptor aviatrix, essentially a larger member of the dromeosaur family than a Utahraptor, but she is partially human. She has various cybernetic implants, most of which are not visible without scrutiny. She is most recognizable by the pattern of blue streaks on the anteorbital patch of her snout, in addition to her long blonde hair.

Conventions and online
ScullyRaptor has been going to Furry conventions off and on since 2002, starting with Anthrocon and Midwest FurFest, and then extending to The Gathering in 2003, FurFright, Furry Weekend Atlanta, and now FA: United, generally as a dealer or artist alley participant. She has also been attending I-CON since she was very young, volunteering while in college, and staffing/guesting in the last few years. She is looking forward to traveling to some of the more distant cons, such as Further Confusion, EuroFurence, and Red Blue & White, though Fossil has threatened to drag her along to Rocket City Fur Meet and Memphit Fur Meet at some point. ScullyRaptor is rather private about chatting online, but sometimes she can be found in Furnation Prime of Second Life.
