SDF started out as an actual Staurikosaurus back millions of years ago in Gondwanaland, one day while wandering around something happened, he has no idea what but somehow he was pulled from his time ending up in some strange place, this place he named noowhear, in this place nothing exists quite right, because it is outside of time, but it does not completely lack time, so, everything both exists and doesn't at the same time, making things appear as ghost like clouds of dust.

After a while in this weird and freaky place he somehow changed becoming smarter and slightly more [[anthro]] in appearance although still quite clearly in dinosaur form. He also managed to find a way back out onto the time line, he is able to swap between the two places, in effect this means he jump from place to place and time to time. He doesn't really age although he tries to keep track of that.

That is how SDF the Staurikosaurus began, possibly a little far fetched, but he likes it. Not a story regularly recited, unless it gives him some advantage in an RP.

'''Duragan''' is an [[anthropomorphic]] [[lion]] character. He is regarded by many as the 'Tubby lion' for his recognizably large belly and is seen to his friends as friendly and kind.

Duragan was sent to Earth by accident when he met his time traveling [[dinosaur]] friend [[SDF-of-BC|StevenSDF]]. Since there, he has come across many of his friends that he knows well. He used to be thin and slightly athletic, but has since gained weight under the curse of junk food. Duragan has a pet [[myox]] named [[Renita]] who lives with him in Cyber Central and works as a [[comic book]] [[artist]] making little stories about the myox.

Duragan is normally seen in his navy blue sweater, deep red baggy pants and goes around bare footed (or if you like, [[bare paw]]ed). His mane is curly and short near the top and long enough to reach down to his waist. His [[tail]] has a small type of hair band to keep his tail tip relatively clean and straight.

* Duragan's was originally based off the main villain in the video game 'The Bouncer' on the PS2 by Squaresoft. The main villain, Dauragon C. Mikado was a perfect name for the creator as it was an original name and had a nice theme to it to describe a fighter (even if Duragan is hopeless at martial arts and sticks to street brawling when it comes to a fight). When the creator went online with his name, he accidentally spelt his name incorrectly, spelling it how it sounded.
* Duragan has a last name, but wasn't made until his creator gave him an account on [[Second Life]]. Since then, he is known as Duragan Howton, though he is still known more as Duragan the lion.

== Alternative nicknames ==
Although known as SDF he is usually registered as a variation of SDF of Blitzcoder. This is due to the fact that the nickname SDF is used by many others on the Internet and is ambiguous. Blitzcoder (BC) was the web site where on the 12th of December 2001, the nick was first created using both his names, which both start with 'S' and a simply press the next two keys in succession to create SDF. The BC web site didn't allow nicknames to be changed and after becoming fairly well known the nick name got stuck with him. It was only after moving to other places on the web that the nick SDF of Blitzcoder started to be use, sadly BC was closed. However, he still continues to use the nickname. Which was shortened to SDF_of_BC in a lot of places.

== Entering the Fandom ==
After identifying himself as [[dinosaur]] of [[raptor]] form for quite some time, he finally found out about the [[fandom]] when he was 16 years old. After his best friend [[Duragan]] showed him some web comics which weren't [[furry]], but had some elements of furry in them. Further research into the subject brought up more and started talking with other furs.

== Character ==

His character is a small, 2ft tall 5ft long, raptor-like dinosaur called a [[Staurikosaurus]]. Although it isn't strictly a raptor as they had not evolved at the time the Staurikosaurus was about, most furs will refer to him as one to keep things simple.

When first depicted this character was shown as being a traditional dinosaur dark green. However, more recently shows up as being brown with a lighter underside and chest (see right.)

In the image to the right he shown as having hair and safety glasses on his head. These are not necessary.

Also, in some pictures he's shown with a much more human body shape, but the [[feral]] body shape is usually preferred.

== Real Life ==
In real life SDF lives in England and is currently completing the final year of a computing course at the University of Bolton. He regularly attends Manchester Main Meets twice a year.

SDF started out as an actual Staurikosaurus back millions of years ago in Gondwanaland, one day while wandering around something happened, he has no idea what but somehow he was pulled from his time ending up in some strange place, this place he named noowhear, in this place nothing exists quite right, because it is outside of time, but it does not completely lack time, so, everything both exists and doesn't at the same time, making things appear as ghost like clouds of dust.

After a while in this weird and freaky place he somehow changed becoming smarter and slightly more [[Anthro]] in appearance although still quite clearly in dinosaur form. He also managed to find a way back out onto the time line, he is able to swap between the two places, in effect this means he jump from place to place and time to time. He doesn't really age although he tries to keep track of that.

That is how SDF the Staurikosaurus began, possibly a little far fetched, but he likes it. Not a story regularly recited, unless it gives him some advantage in an RP.

In many places I use the names SDF_of_BC, SDF of blitzcoder or steven SDF, although there are a few variations of these nicks. My full nick I use is Steven SDF Sulley of Blitzcoder and Sir LARGE of LARGENESS.

My name comes from several different places, first my real name Steven Sulley; then SDF, SDF came when I was choosing a nick for a forum called BlitzCoder on the 12th of December 2001, I was having a brain dead day and couldn't think of a nick, so I took the initals from my name (that are both 's') and used them along with a QWERTY keyboard. After just about a year I joined a new forum, I saw that there were many other SDF's on the Internet and decided to give myself a last name. I thought, I'm the only SDF registered on BlitzCoder, so I took that as my last name, just as many real last names have been taken from places, rather than being called "SDF from BlitzCoder", I used SDF of Blitzcoder instead. This became shortend to "SDF of BC". Later on, I started chatting using [[IRC]] on the Blitzed IRC Network, after being there a few years, I joined a channel called #blitzlounge, #blitzlounge was run by a this guy called Ravey, he became known as Ravey the LARGE and had a small council, the council of the LARGE, where I became known as Sir LARGE of LARGENESS. I rarely use the LARGE in my nick, only when spelling it out in full. Sadly both BlitzCoder and the LARGE are no more.

Anyway while I was doing that for a few years in the Summer of 2004 I started reading [[comics]], lots and lots of them. A lot of these comics where [[furry]] and I started liking the entire thing, the dinosaur thing completely took over after that. In October I join the [[Furnet]] IRC Network and started talking in #raptorden and kept getting asked for a character or description. I decided to make one, I simply looked for a dinosaur in my dinosaur book and found the one that I thought best fitted me, that was a Staurikosaurus, a cute little 2ft tall, 5ft tall raptor-like dino. Google it you'll find it :p
Since then its been developing more and more.

I first when to a meet in November (or December) 2005 after a few furs kept inviting me to go and kept talking to me about it. Eventually I gave in and decided to go to the Manchester meet.

I thought, I'm the only SDF registered on BlitzCoder, so I took that as my last name, just as many real last names have been taken from places, rather than being called "SDF from BlitzCoder", I used SDF of Blitzcoder instead. This became shortend to "SDF of BC". Later on, I started chatting using [[IRC]] on the Blitzed IRC Network, after being there a few years, I joined a channel called #blitzlounge, #blitzlounge was run by a this guy called Ravey, he became known as Ravey the LARGE and had a small council, the council of the LARGE, where I became known as Sir LARGE of LARGENESS. I rarely use the LARGE in my nick, only when spelling it out in full. Sadly both BlitzCoder and the LARGE are no more.

== Join the Furry Side ==
When I was about 13-14 I started to identify parts of my personallity with a [[dinosaur]] theme, I'll not go into why.
Anyway while I was doing that for a few years in the Summer of 2004 I started reading [[comics]], lots and lots of them. A lot of these comics where [[furry]] and I started liking the entire thing, the dinosaur thing completely took over after that. In October I join the [[Furnet]] IRC Network and started talking in #raptorden and kept getting asked for a character or description. I decided to make one, I simply looked for a dinosaur in my dinosaur book and found the one that I thought best fitted me, that was a Staurikosaurus, a cute little 2ft tall, 5ft tall raptor-like dino. Google it you'll find it :p

Since then its been developing more and more.
== Meets ==
I first when to a meet in November (or December) 2005 after a few furs kept inviting me to go and kept talking to me about it. Eventually I gave in and decided to go to the Manchester meet.

I thought most of it was fun, and I may well go again, depending on many factors. Next time though, I need to get some alcohol in me, inorder to get around my shy nature, heheh.
