WildCritters.net is furry imageboard/art archives and communities in the style of e621, Furpiled.com, and other Danbooru-based boards.

Theoretically they specialize in cute chibi, cub, and/or feral furry art, typically of an erotic nature. Characters with body types that fall into most of the aforementioned categories are referred to as critters. Most of the art tends to be Japanese style furry art (Kemono).

Art featuring exclusively humans, adult human-shaped anthros (full-anthros), taurs, and characters with other body types not considered "critter", and are not typically permitted.

Change in ownership
On July 21st, 2009, The original website went through an unusual change in ownership. The site switched between the hands of Dunkinbean and Furvy to Spike. Due to this the site underwent fundamental changes.

Shutdown
On August 1st, 2010, the site went down due a security hole. On August 17, the site reopened after switching servers.

The Split
Due to disagreements among members and fundamental changes to the original site, a second website was created on December 3, 2010. The two sites follow different ideologies. Wildcritters.ws believes in opening up their definition of "critter" to include such things as humans with furry-styled highlights (e.g. tails or ears), referred to as "halves". Wildcritters.net believes in keeping a refined definition, remaining more consistent with original posting content. Currently they both run under a similar version of Danbooru and Rails.

Copyright Infringement
In a journal posted to Inkbunny on October 26, 2011, the administrator of wildcritters.ws commented upon an artist's request to have artwork removed from the site; said request was denied. In the journal, Spike maintains the opinion that his website falls under fair use, and that the audience should be able to ignore the creator's rights in order to have access to their creations.

Aftermath of Wildcritters.ws
After the original group who occupied and maintained WC moved over and created Wildcritters.net or what most of the community referred to as "dot net", Spike the server owner of Wildcritters.ws decided to end all he had going for himself. Having little to no knowledge on the ruby-on-rails based engine that he acquired, he took it upon himself to "upgrade" to the latest danbooru after a certain night of trolling. The site is now in complete disarray with no hope in sight of ever going back to what it originally was.

Wildcritters.net shutdown
As of this time, March 8th 2013, http://Wildcritters.net is currently "undergoing maintenance".

WildCritters is a furry imageboard/art archive and community in the style of e621, Furpiled.com, and other Danbooru-based boards.

It specializes in cute chibi, cub, and feral furry art, typically of an erotic nature. Characters with body types that fall into the aforementioned categories are said to be "critters".

Art featuring exclusively humans, adult human-shaped anthros (full-anthros), taurs, and characters with other body types not considered "critter" are not typically permitted.

Kemono majority
Because critter art makes up only a small portion of the art drawn within the English-speaking furry fandom, the majority of the art on WildCritters is drawn by artists who do not live in an English-speaking country (typically Japanese kemono artists).

Because Pokémon are a popular subject in furry art and often considered to have body types that can be classified as critter, a large part of WildCritters' content consists of art featuring Pokémon characters. As such, WildCritters has often been likened to the Pokémon-centered art archive AGNPH.
