At the age of 8, Roderick The Rhodesian began to show Artistic Talent. In grade five (In 2003)He began writing novels, and every year after, he wrote another (though non of these were published because they were incomplete). When asked about the reason behind his growing list of unfinished novels, Roderick The Rhodesian said; ''"I just do it for the sake of writing! Each and every time I scratch and start over, I gain better experience. One day, I'll make something that will truly be a masterpiece, but till then,I'm just drifting about on the river of writing I'm creating! I've got lots of time."'' Most recently though, it seems as though this trend of unfinished books is coming to an end, because Roderick The Rhodesian has claimed that he plans on finally publishing his recently started Sci-fi thriller novel, unnamed for now.

Family members claim, that by the age of 6, Rodrick The Rhodesian began improvised rapping, and singing along to his favorite songs. His musical endeavors only became more prevalent as he grew up, and from grade 7-10 he was part of his Schools choirs.

At the age of 16, Roderick was coincidentally introduced by a friend to a Music Creation Software entitled 'Acoustica Mixcraft'. Practically in that same week, did he go out and download the trial version. Very soon afterwords, he got the full version of it. Roderick The Rhodesian's first song ever was entitled the 'Moods of Music', and was 10 minuets long. The first song though that he publicly published to the sight [http://www.furaffinity.net/ Furrafinity] was entitled 'Heaven's Not enough'. 'Heaven's Not enough' is an orchestral piece, about 2:30 minuets long. As Michael began to create more songs, the genre switched from orchestral to general techno, where he created songs such as 'Flutter', 'Hypertension', 'God Of The Machine', and numerous others. <ref> http://www.furaffinity.net/user/zizixmp3/ </ref>

As Roderick the Rhodesian's amateur career continued, he found himself running out of good loops to use in his current program. For a few weeks he went off the grid and searched for his next program. After a brief experimentation with Fruity Loops 7 (that he created two unsuccessful song's with), he found Music Creator 6, and after taking the trial, bought the program and again began to make music. The new songs he was creating had begun to reflect his efforts, no longer a childish hobby, and now leaning on a quest to become professional.

Currently, Roderick the Rhodesian is attempting to hone his skills, and is trying to take some singing and guitar lessons.
When asked why he had choose those particular plans of action, Roderick the Rhodesian said: ''"So that I can take my career to a more personal level, and get rid of the major reliance on loops that I currently have."'' Roderick the Rhodesian plans on continuing with his Album and Novel endeavors. Expect big things in 2012. Currently, Roderick the Rhodesian is mainly creating Indie Rock pieces, but at around Christmas time, he has claimed that he will be trying his hand at Hardstyal, a genre that only recently he's found out about. He spent a total of 4 years in Dubai, and then moved with his mother and father to Ontario, Canada. It was here that he settled and began absorbing the musical influences of North America. Family members claim that even at the young age of 8, he was rapping and singing along to his favorite songs.

== The Rise: ==
As Michael grew up, music became a major part of his life, and it was in Grade 9 that Michael began to show signs of artistic talent. He wrote poetry, and drew pictures, but as well made a few unrecorded songs that he would sing simply for his own enjoyment. By grade 11, in 2010, Michael was unintentionally introduced to a music creation program, ''Acoustica Mixcraft''. It was then that Michael's music career truly kicked off. Practically the same week that he learnt about the program, did he download a free trial and began creating his own tunes.

== The First Leap: ==
Michael's first song ever was entitled the '''Moods of Music''', and was 10 minuets long. The first song though that he publicly published on a sight called Furrafinity, under the alias of Roderick The Rhodesian Ridgeback, was entitled '''Heaven's Not enough'''. It was an orchestral piece, about 2:30 minuets long. As Michael began to create more songs, the genre switched from orchestral to general techno, were he created songs such as '''Paradise At Last''', '''Exodus''', '''God Of The Machine''', and numerous others.

== The Second Leap: ==
As Michael's amateur career continued, he found himself running out of good loops to use in his current program. For a few weeks he went off the grid and searched for his next program. After a brief experimentation with Fruity Loops (that he created two unsuccessful song's with), he found Music Creator 6, and after taking the trial, bought the program and again began to make music. The new songs he was pumping out had begun to reflect his efforts, no longer a childish hobby, and now leaning on a quest to become professional. After creating a few songs, he started an Album called '''Dreaming In Color''' which featured a verity of genres, from Orchestral and Rock, to Trance and Electronica.

== To Present Day: ==
His most recent album '''Who Needs Reality?''', is a composition of his best older songs, and all the new songs he's created... submitting a new one each week on Wednesdays. '''Who Needs Reality?''' displays Indie Rock and Electro-Pop pieces. What has been recently found out, is that Michael will continue to only create Indie Rock till Christmas time, then he plans on trying his hand at Hardstyal and Dubstep. In terms of current progress, Michael has began taking professional vocal lessons, and is learning (a life long wish) to play the guitar.

== Rumor States: ==
After recently having one of his songs 'To Be A Dog' spotlighted on Furrafinity, he met up with another Spotlighted individual, a trance musician that went by the name of Zenuel. Rumor has it that the two are planning on creating an Album together, but the release date and the actual proof is yet to be found.
