Juniper M. P. R. A. A. K-M. System, a transgender non-binary plural system (who are sometimes known to use these names in real life: Arki, Arla, Aoife and Meredith, as well as the character names Fiscal, Nicolyrezk, Benzene and Quench) has been a systems administrator and software developer on various furry websites, some of which it founded or co-founded. It resides in the Seattle suburbs in Washington, USA.

Biography
Juniper is of mostly Irish descent, primarily working on projects for Malice Labs, as well as pursuing a career as a photographer, videographer and freelance journalist. In the past it has worked on a number of projects such as e621, Fur Affinity, and F-List in its free time.

Fandom involvement
Juniper has publicly stated that it is Otherkin, but used to joke that it was "suffering from delusions" from time to time, due to the social stigma surrounding Otherkin and Therianthropy. It is a shapeshifter with many varying guises. Usually it is a Skandark (a two-headed red panda/skunk goo/demon hybrid), but others in its system include an opossum/red panda, a skunk, a sheep/werewolf and a grey-furred red panda.

Convention attendance
* Anthrocon - 2003, 2004, 2013, 2014
* Emerald City Comic Con - 2018
* Eurofurence - 8
* Further Confusion - 2006
* FA: United - 2007

Technical responsibilities
Juniper has helped to host a number of websites for individuals, groups and small organizations, both furry and not. In the past it helped to stream FBC content and, after assisting with rebroadcasting and archiving 2 Sense, moved to occasionally broadcasting shows. It was the founder of ArtPlz after the breakup of Fur Affinity, at which time it withdrew its hosting following a managerial disagreement with Fur Affinity's founder and administrator Jheryn Lightfoot. ArtPlz itself also saw some drama after it developed ChanPlz, an Fchan clone for posting furry art. Several volunteers withdrew their support for ArtPlz, such as Arshes Nei stating ethical reasons for doing so. ChanPlz was taken down a few days later by Juniper and others involved in its creation.

Juniper was also an administrator for and the systems administrator of WTFur, a mature furry image board much like Fchan, but quit due to a large amount of racist and antisemitic content it was prevented from doing anything about. Disillusioned with the projects of others, it subsequently came to create, own, run and maintain the furry community e621. As of August 31, 2010, it no longer runs e621, due to allegations of the site hosting real-life Child Sexual Exploitation Material (CSEM) made to the FBI, it had to spend many months proving otherwise. It did so, however, but the stress led to a hospitalization and it decided to give the site to someone else to continue the work. The site's data was transferred over to Varka when he offered to take over the site.

The last project Juniper was involved with was F-List and it was one of the developers who helped to write F-List alongside Hexxy, providing code for new features, security updates, and bug fixes up until the incident in 2011 with Zidonuke happened, at which point it decided that it didn't want to work on the project anymore, as it believed the site was moving away from its own interests once it came back online.

Arcturus has not worked on any furry projects since, however continues to participate in the fandom through social media.

Changed is a 2018 independent action puzzle game created by Dragon Snow (Chinese:兽屋之龙). The player takes control of Colin, a human who wakes up in a strange laboratory filled with latex creatures. During the journey to escape the laboratory, Colin faces many of these latex creatures who attempt to assimilate him, often in prolonged and unique ways (to "transfur", as sometimes called, including by the creator). The game involves Colin finding clues about the laboratory's past, his reason for being there, and of the outside world.

Released on Steam on 4 April, 2018, Dragon Snow developed the game using the RPG Maker platform, and Shizi composed the soundtrack. An English-language version became available on 13 May, 2018. As of 5 April, 2023, the game holds an aggregate review score of "Very Positive", based on 10,465 user ratings.

Changed: Special Edition is an extended version of Changed. A demo for the game is available on Steam, included with the Steam purchase of the base game. Changed: Special Edition features less difficult and more forgiving gameplay, altered layouts, new areas, and updated map / sprite designs. It is currently in development, with subsequent updates being released via Dragon Snow's Patreon.

Plot
Colin wakes up in an unfamiliar room, unaware of how long he's been asleep. Confused and scared, he starts to make his way out of the facility, avoiding creatures made of latex. If caught by the creatures, they either absorb him or turn him into one of their kind. Colin encounters a latex dragon who answers his questions, informing him about a viral plague that hit humanity, rendering them nearly extinct. From there, Colin reaches a library and meets Puro, a cheerful latex wolf that helps him. Colin can choose whether to treat Puro with kindness, affecting which of several endings the player achieves.

Colin is temporarily separated from Puro in a generator room, where he reads with disbelief that he had been in a coma for five years. When Puro catches up to him, he tells Colin that he needs a host to survive. If Colin was sufficiently kind to him, Puro will continue to travel with him, but if not (or if the game is played on the "Easy" difficulty), he attacks Colin and assimilates him as his host.

The pair encounter a scientist named Dr. K, who was once a human, but voluntarily transformed himself into a white latex wolf. The scientist captures Colin, insisting he not leave because the human may be infected with the virus and cause a new outbreak if he does. After escaping the room he was trapped in, Colin goes to confront Dr. K. again. If Puro was treated insufficiently kind, he is dead, and Dr. K overpowers Colin, using him as a test subject for experiments. Otherwise, Colin finds both Puro and Dr. K unconscious, with Puro waking first and explaining that the two had fought.

If Colin decides to escape from the facility despite the scientist's warnings, Puro leaves with him, but presumably he soon falls ill and dies from the virus.

If Colin decides to stay, but was not nice enough to Puro, Puro leaves without him. He promises to keep in touch, but when he falls out of contact, it's implied he died without a host.

If Colin is indecisive and was nice enough to Puro, Dr. K performs a procedure that transforms Colin into a white latex wolf. He also provides Puro with a robotic host, allowing him to survive without absorbing anyone. The pair are able to leave safely, while Dr. K remains in his lab.
