Raziel0682:

Raziel is a beginning writer, with a storyline titled Anubia & Raz on Yiffstar [http://www.yiffstar.com]and on Fur Affinity [http://www.furaffinity.net] . While he is admittedly new to the furry fandom, he is constantly trying to learn more about the fandom. Raziel's character is a 50 ft. tall diamond dragon (a species of dragon designed by himself, with influence from D&D), a human of moderate build with eyes and hair colored to mood (though usually he sports jade green hair and azure blue eyes), or an anthro-dragon of the aforementioned species.

In real-life, Raziel's name is Matt Gerteisen, and is currently serving in the U.S. Navy. He is an [[otherkin]] and a follower of wicca. He is a follower of many online comics, including but not limited to [[Jack]], [[The Suburban Jungle]], and [[Lackadaisy]] to name a few. He sadly has yet to make it to a FurCon, however he hopes to be able to make an appearance at [[AnthroCon]] sometime in the near future.

WikiFur talk:Comic of the Week/1

2007-07-15T07:33:56Z

Raziel0682: /* Nominations */

The '''Comic of the Week''' is a way to feature the large number of high-quality [[:Category:Comics|comics]] that are popular among members of the [[furry fandom]] - and perhaps a few that aren't yet as popular as they deserve to be, too. '''You''' can take part by [[#Nominate a comic|nominating a comic]] for featuring.

<div style="float:right">__TOC__</div>

== Nominate a comic ==

Please nominate up to three comics below (preface with *). Comics must have an existing article - if you want to feature a comic without an article, write the article first, then nominate it. Note that both general audience and [[:Category:Mature comics|mature]] nominations are welcome.

Others may support a nomination with indented comments (preface with :, and sign your name with <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>. Support is not the only (or even primary factor) for featuring - the justification given for featuring in the nomination will weigh heavily, as will availability of a high quality panel or title image representing the comic in the article, and of course the article itself.

=== Nominations ===

* [[Exodus]] by [[Pepper]]
* [[Boomer Express]] by [[Tyrnn Eaveranth]] and [[Jakebe Sunraven]]
:''Seconded!''--[[User:GraveyardGreg|Graveyard Greg]]
:With a better article, certainly. --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 00:26, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
* [[Balls of Furr]] - [[Ricardo Canheta]]
* [[Carpe Diem]] by [[Graveyard Greg]] and others (Sensitive and believable treatments of GLTB issues without becoming adult-rated, all furry cast with real life personalities, available both in print and online, long-established run) --[[User:Altivo|Altivo]] 16:02, 19 Dec 2005 (UTC)
:''Seconded.'' --[[User:Mwalimu|mwalimu]] 20:39, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
::I would like to recant my nomination for the time being, for a couple of reasons: First, while the comic itself is great, the WikiFur article needs more work. Second, the comic is on hiatus at the moment, and I think we would honor the comic better if we feature it at a time when it is updating regularly. --[[User:Mwalimu|mwalimu]] 18:17, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
:''Thirded.'' --[[User:Aelius|Aelius]] 19:06, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
::Thank you for the nomination (and the kind words, Mwalimu!), but I respectfully decline being a comic of the week until the comic claws its way out of hiatus. --Graveyard Greg
* [[Alice Otter]] by [[Miguel Estrugo]] ('Cause I need her.)
*[[Roomies]] by [[Dan Canaan]]
:With a better article I'd support that. Right now it's just two short paragraphs and no picture. --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 15:24, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
* [[Three D Comics]] by [[ImagoRabbit]] {{unsigned|65.28.190.117}}
*[[The Suburban Jungle]], by John "[[The Gneech]]" Robey (Nice artwork, and a long, established run) - --[[User:Leo Delgrith|Leo Delgrith]] 19:36, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
:Great comic, but the article needs more work. --[[User:Mwalimu|mwalimu]] 23:37, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
*I don't expect this to win but... [[Fuzzy Things]] want's to be edited... '''- ''[[user:cchristianTehWazzit|cchristian]]'' [[user talk:cchristianTehWazzit|talk]]'''
*[[BF Funnies]] by [[Wyldsyde]] is my nomination, thanks! --[[User:Kattywampus|Kattywampus]]
*[[Sequential Art]] by Phillip M. Jackson. Not a specifically furry comic, but a good webcomic with a fairly large article. I also think it could use better public coverage. --[[User:Robomilk|Tori Belliachi]] 20:56, 8 April 2007 (UTC)-
*[[The Blackblood Alliance]] by [[KayFedewa]]. Amazing art, and a great storyline to boot. [[User:SpazKitty|Spaz Kitty]] 01:40, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
*:Looks OK, but the site really needs to be up first. --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 05:41, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
