Raul Greenscale (pronounced Ra-ool) is an erotic furry fiction writer, living in south Devon, England. He started writing furry erotica at the age of 16 and has been going strong since. He holds a BSc honors degree in applied science and a PhD also in applied Science. All of his stories can be found on Yiffstar. He owns two Indian pythons and his favorite animals are snakes.

His fursona is named after a Japanese myth, "The King of all Nights Dreaming." He also goes by the title "The Lord of Dreams and Nightmares." Standing just over seven feet tall, Raul is extremely large and powerful. He is a green snake of unknown species, and often manifests himself with legs (hence the tagline "Snake wif legs!")
As a being of supreme power, he is often mistaken for and sometimes worshiped as a God, even though he is merely a very powerful spirit. He has the ability to make dreams and nightmares, but also has other powers, most of which manifest as purple energy (purple being his favorite color). The tattoos that adorn his back are of unknown origin and are thought to represent the paths that the dreams of mortals take.

Raul had a number of different identities over the course of his creation. He began life as a black anthropomorphic dragon with yellow flame patterns on his scales, his name was Darion and he lived in a volcano. The second incarnation was the first one to bear the name Raul, a red anthropomorphic dragon with black horns and talons. The incarnation immediately preceeding the present, was not a dragon, but a snake of unknown species, with legs. He was also called "The King of all Nights Dreaming" but was later scrapped for the current version.
