When the community faltered and other powerful members faded into the background, he staged a covert coup d’état, successfully unnoticed by the masses and accounting for the dissapearance of founders Singing Circus Dog and Nogitsune and influential party member Evil Engine no. 9 for months before the Chat on the Internet organization infiltrated and recovered the leaders.

Caught between a counterattack by COTI and the recovered EAF forces and a growing horde of furries slavering for his blood and possibly seminal fluids, Sean was forced to retreat to his compound on the MySpace pages where he was granted amnesty from all further attempts by the two forces to touch him. He was later found to be, after having lead rallies against furries so many times, a homosexual polygamist pagan otherkin who, using the wealth he had illicitly garnered from his manipulations in EAF, had built a lascivious compound of debauchery provided his partners dressed in leather dragon-suits.
Blue Forest Characters
Hi there. There's no need to recreate the incorrectly capitalized category Blue Forest Characters. Despite what the Special:Wanted pages seems to think, there is nothing linking to it any longer. (I fixed 'em!) I'm going to nix Blue Forest Characters and pop the Blue Forest template into more articles while I'm at it. -- Sine 18:48, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

:Blue Forest Characters has, happily, vanished from Wanted categories. I'm not sure if that's because of it existing again for a little or if re-editing the articles helped or what, but I guess that doesn't matter. The different capitalizations of Blue Forest as a template seem to be redirects. Not sure if that's related either. All very mysterious! -- Sine 21:42, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

To Stub or Not to Stub?
Is there a guideline as to when a short article (which just doesn't have much to say) doesn't need to be tagged as a stub? 1000 bytes, etc.? Wouldn't stop anyone from dropping in to make changes anyway. Just curious. --Frizzy 23:11, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

:I usually go by the rule of whether I feel there's anything that ought to be added (but that I'm not sure about or don't know or don't feel like putting in right now). -- Siege(talk) 05:02, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

:The general rule is "if there is probably something that could be added fairly easily by someone who doesn't know much about the topic" (say with a few minutes of google searching) then it is a stub. If not, then it is not a stub, although if you can describe it entirely in a couple of lines, it is probably a strong candidate for merging with another article. --GreenReaper(talk) 08:05, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

Categorization?
Thanks for the quick feedback! I was looking through WikiFur's style guide and had another question: Are there any guidelines on category order at the end of articles? I was going through alphabetically, but it might be helpful to define this in the style guide if there's a prefered order to doing this. --Frizzy 19:10, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

:Technically any order is fine. In practice, for articles about people I've tended to do People and then subcategories of People (note that we only do this category + subcategory thing with people so as to get a full listing in that category), and then their location and year of birth/death. In general I would put the most important or relevant category first, but that's just a personal style. --GreenReaper(talk) 20:45, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
I've seen some links that state a specific item is "available at <insert webstore URL here>" where the website is an ordinary online store not involved with the creation of said item.
:Well, this depends on the situation, but if the link does provide value to readers I wouldn't remove it. I may even have added it myself. There's a difference between "could be googled fairly easily" and "everyone will know where buy this item, and will do so without being prompted to do so," and it can often be the difference between a sale and a missed opportunity. I would probably consider putting a furry-friendly store above a generic link to Amazon.com, but I wouldn't remove a link to Amazon.com if it made it more likely that people would buy whatever it was. I see people buying more furry stuff as a good thing. *grin* GreenReaper(talk) 01:37, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

Like most, if not all, "anti furry" message boards and websites, a great deal of its founders and members are or were associated with the furry fandom, whether as artists or fans. Though the group was frequently accused of being bigoted against furries, EAF claimed to have no agenda apart from making fun of "strange and silly behavior" on the part of furry fans.

History
The first public appearance of "Eat All Furries" was as a small, single web page filled with ridiculous and outlandish claims about furry fans. Ironically, this page was hosted on Eternal Rain, a fansite that was created for Freya Crescent, a demi-human character of furry interest from the Final Fantasy series of video-games. Spawned from an inside joke, the page's title was "EAT ALL FURRIES!" and caused a considerable amount of dramatics on a web forum belonging to the page's owner, Tensai Nezumi, a friend of Singing Circus Dog.

EAF as a standalone entity came to being as a separate community in 2003 when Singing Circus Dog created a LiveJournal journal intended to make fun of what the EAF group considered to be the less appealing aspects of the furry fandom. In particular, posting links to "furry LOLocausts" were favored forms of entertainment. The community was deleted in early 2004 by LiveJournal administration following complaints from users.

Shortly afterward, EAF reappeared as an ezboard forum, which became popular, defying the attempts of various detractors to have it shut down (one notable attempt being based on the claim that, since it made fun of furries, it was therefore a "gay bashing" board.) It was during this time that Sean became one of the most powerful members of EAF under the handle Sean aka God. His work at the board would later bring him into conflict with various members of both EAF and COTI.

Toward the latter days of EAF, banning (a previously untouched course of action) was employed to dispose of users deemed particularly tiresome, whether furry or anti-furry. In its last few weeks of existence, Stiv was granted administrative power and proceeded to ban every user in the forum save a few core members. Generally, the assumption was that the forum had been hacked; however, Singing Circus Dog publicly refuted this assertion.

The forum was finally locked down on September 11, 2004 by the administrators themselves, the opening graphic replaced by an animated MS Paint image of a crying wolf flying into the World Trade Center. This appears to have been planned greatly in advance and was likely the result of the administrators getting tired of "serious" anti-furries showing up on the forum.

Mascots/logo
Eat All Furries had two flagship characters: the seemingly-spherical "mascot" Purple Monster, and the head administrator's mysterious avatar, the Singing Circus Dog. Stiv also became a pivotal and iconic figure in the latter days of EAF.

For a short time, the banner image of the EAF forum featured two human figures wearing animal ears and tails. These two human characters with furry costume parts were known as Twigfox and Buttbear.

Aftermath
Immediately following the closing of EAF, Agahnim, a self-proclaimed enemy of the board, claimed that he and Cool Kovu had spammed and hacked the forum, causing its fall. This is generally understood to be false.

Most of EAF's core membership were invited to join COTI at some point during EAF's existence. Some EAF members, such as rootdown and Stiv, were recruited to EAF from COTI. Much of the original COTI/EAF conglomeration remain cohorts to this day.

The present
On the 3rd of October, 2006, the EAF forum was reactivated by its original administrator, Tensai Nezumi, under his EAF handle of Nivalis Capistrum.

Eat All Furries (also known as EAF) is an ezboard forum that enjoyed some degree of infamy within the furry fandom from early 2003 to late 2004. The same name is often used to refer to the collective group of members of the forum.

Eat All Furries had two flagship characters: the seemingly-spherical "mascot" Purple Monster and the head administrator's mysterious avatar, the Singing Circus Dog. Stiv also became a pivotal and iconic figure in the latter days of EAF.

For a short time, the banner image of the EAF forum featured two human figures wearing animal ears and tails. These two characters were known as "Twigfox" and "Buttbear", and they were depicted as being hunched obliviously over a pornographic furry comic book while the Purple Monster loomed silently and menacingly behind them. This banner image was lost when one of the administrators of EAF attempted to change all of the EAF board settings while under the influence of alcohol.

Though the group was frequently accused of being bigoted against furries, a large portion of the EAF core consisted of furries or friends of furries. EAF claimed to have no agenda aside from making fun of very strange and silly behavior.

History
The first public appearance of "Eat All Furries" was as a small, single web page filled with ridiculous and outlandish claims about furry fans. Ironically, this page was hosted on Eternal Rain, a fansite that was created for Freya Crescent, a demi-human character from the Final Fantasy series of videogames. Spawned from an inside joke, the page's title was "EAT ALL FURRIES!" and caused a considerable amount of dramatics on a web forum belonging to the page's owner, a friend of Singing Circus Dog.

EAF was created as a separate forum in 2003 when Singing Circus Dog created a LiveJournal community intended to make fun of what the EAF group considered to be the less appealing aspects of the furry fandom. In particular, posting links to "furry lolocausts" were favored forms of entertainment. The community was deleted in early 2004 by LiveJournal administration following complaints from users.

Shortly afterward, EAF reappeared as an ezboard forum, which also quickly became popular, defying the attempts of various detractors to have it shut down (one notable attempt being based on the claim that, since it made fun of furries, it was therefore a "gay bashing" board).

Toward the latter days of EAF, banning (a previously untouched course of action) was employed to dispose of users deemed particularly tiresome, whether furry or anti-furry. In its last few weeks of existence, Stiv was granted administrative power and proceeded to ban every user in the forum save a few core members. Generally, the assumption was that the forum had been hacked; however, Singing Circus Dog has publicly refuted any accusations of having been hacked.

The forum was finally locked down on 9/11/2004 by the administrators themselves, the opening graphic replaced by an animated MS Paint image of a crying wolf flying into the World Trade Center. This appears to have been planned greatly in advance and was likely the result of the administrators getting tired of "serious" anti-furries showing up on the forum.

Aftermath
Immediately following the dramatic closing of EAF, Agahnim, a self-proclaimed enemy of EAF, claimed that he and Cool Kovu had spammed and hacked the forum, causing its fall. This is generally understood to be false.

Most of EAF's core membership were invited to join COTI at some point during EAF's existence. Some EAF members, such as rootdown and Stiv, were recruited to EAF from COTI. Much of the original COTI/EAF conglomeration remain cohorts to this day.

Eat All Furries is still commonly used as a scapegoat for anti-furry activity and is rumored by some to be still active as an underground organization dedicated to harming furry fandom.

On the 3rd of October, 2006, the EAF forum was resurrected by its original administrator, an individual who goes by the name of "Nivalis Capistrum". Very little is known about this person, other than the fact that he is an elderly resident of North America who lost portions of both of his legs in a tragic rollover accident involving a Cub Cadet lawn tractor. He is rumored to be a furry, as well as an Abbie Hoffman Otherkin.
