'''Feila''' is a [[furry]] forum that focuses mainly on [[role-playing]]. The services available at Feila include a gallery for artwork and literature, a graphical battle arena with automated features, a collection of play-by-post role-playing boards, an area for contests and games, and a board that supports a broad range of general topics for discussion. There is also a seek-and-find game called "The Quest for Aros" that involves searching for clues to the secret past of a special character named Aros, and is managed by the Feila organization called APP. Other services of the forum include a lottery and a stock market, both of which are automated.

==History==
The Feila forum was founded on March 14, 2006 by the head administrator, RabidFox. Soon after its initial creation, RabidFox was joined by [[Zeru]], [[AyaMiru]], and [[AmbiguousDemon]], who are together considered the original members and staff of the forum. While RabidFox and Zeru still can be found on Feila, AyaMiru and AmbiguousDemon were stolen away by Life. Since then, the userbase and staff have evolved, and JamesG and JustinG have risen to the rank of co-administrator. A formal co-administrator was [[Madame]], but she too mysteriously disappeared into the abyss of Life. After taking some time away from the forum, Zeru has retaken her status as the Super Moderator and head of the APP.

In the beginning, the forum only had a general section and eight role-playing areas. The APP was not introduced until March 28, 2006. The Arctic Islands, the ninth role-playing area of the forum, was not added until December 03, 2006, and while it was originally created by Zeru, JamesG has made many contributions to the area. Another part of Feila that was not in the original design is the Dimensional Break. The Dimensional Break was added later in response to the userbase's desire to be able to role-play in non-medieval-esque time periods.

==APP==
"APP" is an abbreviation for "Aros Protection Program". The APP focuses on the mysterious cacomistle known as Aros, a character created and role-played by Zeru. Potential APP members scour the forum in search of clues to Aros' secret past, participating in an optional seek-and-find game called the Quest for Aros, and then send their findings to RabidFox. Members who provide valid information are allowed to join the APP, and become official guardians of Aros. This responsibility includes reporting any information about Aros that has been leaked onto the public forums without permission.

So far, there has been one official contest with Aros as the theme, and the winner of that contest was given access to the APP without having to complete the Quest for Aros.

==Dimensional Break==
While the majority of Feila is set in a medieval-esque setting, on March 10, 2007, a board called the Dimensional Break became available for role-playing. This board accommodates different time periods of Feila, including a futuristic age known as the Age of Cyborgs, a modern age that is similar to 21st century Earth, an age catering to a Victorian-esque era, and an age that resembles Earth's 18th century. Currently, a space age is in development by JamesG, and soon will be available for role-playing. The space age AKA the Age of Space is set further in the future than the current futuristic age known as the Age of Cyborgs, the latter of which focuses on a time period that is set 150 years after Feila's modern era. The Age of Space will feature space travel and colonies on other planets.

There has been discussion of adding more ages, such as an ancient era and a prehistoric era. The staff are always open to the userbase for new ideas on additional time periods for role-playing, and encourage user feedback concerning the forum's development.

==Mascot==
[[Image:Vanir.GIF|right|thumb|Vanir, Feila's mascot]]
The official mascot of Feila is a tan [[bunny]]/[[bat]] [[hybrid]] named Vanir, who was created by Zeru on January 03, 2007. While he is not widely seen throughout the forum or used in many projects, Vanir can be frequently found at WikiFeila as an automated helper. There are plans to make Vanir a more integral part of Feila's role-playing setting and the forum in the future.

Zeru has resigned from her status as the Super Moderator and head of the APP, and now only occasionally visits the forum. Command of the APP has since been undertaken by RabidFox.

==APP==

==Dimensional Break==

==Mascot==

This board accommodates to different time periods of Feila, including a "modern" age that is similar to 21st century Earth, an age catering to a Victorian-esque era, and an 18th-century-like age. A futuristic age is currently in the making, and there has been discussion of adding an ancient era.

While he is not widely seen throughout the forum or used in many world projects, Vanir can be frequently found as a help mascot at WikiFeila. == Clean-up of Feila article ==

I'd be more than happy to clean-up the Feila article, but I'm not really sure what you want me to fix. The link in the clean-up box goes to a dead page. Suggestions?

--[[User:RabidFox|RabidFox]] 15:51, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

:For one, it has no categories. Two, the image at the bottom would be better placed as right-aligned alongside the mascot text. It also needs to be Wikified (<nowiki>[[links]]</nowiki> set where applicable, ie names). There may be some minor other edits needed, but those are the primary things. [[User:SpazKitty|Spaz Kitty]] 16:05, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

::Categories? I am afraid that I do not understand what you mean, considering that it seems that the article is already organized in such a manner. Perhaps you could be a little more specific? As for the mascot image, I have tried to right-align it several times, but I cannot do so without interrupting the following, unrelated section. Is there a way to do this without interfering into an inappropriate section, or should I do so regardless? --[[User:RabidFox|RabidFox]] 05:59, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

:::Categories such as [[:Category:Forums]], which I have added. I have cleaned up the article to remove 'fluff' and to properly Wikify it. You are free to continue editing it. [[User:SpazKitty|Spaz Kitty]] 14:56, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

::::Ah, thank you, but what is "fluff"? --[[User:RabidFox|RabidFox]] 19:12, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

When renaming pages, use the "move" tab instead of copy and pasting. For instance, a move could have been used to rename "Anubis" to "Anubis (god)". Using "move" instead of copy and pasting preserves the edit history of the article. --[[User:Rat|Rat]] 11:56, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

I'd be more than happy to clean-up the Feila article, but I'm not really sure what you want me to fix. The link in the clean-up box goes to a dead page. Suggestions?

The APP was not introduced until March 28, 2006, and is headed by the self-proclaimed "Raddest Mod of Feila" Zeru. The Artic Islands, the ninth role-playing area of the forum, was not added until December 03, 2006, and is also controlled by Zeru.
==APP==
"APP" is an abbreviation for "Aros Protection Program". The APP focuses around the mysterious Aros, a character created and role-played by Zeru. Potential APP members scour the forum in search of clues to Aros' identity, and then PM their findings to Zeru, otherwise known as the "APP Queen" or "Queen of Arosland". Members who offer valid information are then allowed to join the APP, and become official guardians of Aros.

So far, there has been one official contest in Aros' name, and the winner of that contest was given "free" access to the APP.
