Pyrenea: /* Fursonas */

Rebecca McIvor, also known as Ixis Mir'Amin and Orla Westie (born 3rd June 1991,) is an artist and fursuiter from Nairn, Scotland.

Fursonas
Thorne
Rebecca's first fursona, Thorne, came to life as a wolf character in 2005. By 2006, Thorne's species had changed to that of a dragon, and by 2007, that of an anthropomorphic wyvern. Her name change came in June 2008 when the character went under its final revision.

Ixis
Ixis stands at 6'4 and weighs 140 lbs. She has long, shaggy royal blue fur, with small, pale blue scales underneath. Her arms end in elongated "fingers" that are webbed to act as wings. She has a face that resembles a big cat, with opaque blue-white pupiless eyes. She has large ears on either side of her head that curl upwards. Her headfur is long and silver in colour. Her horns, bones, claws, teeth and hooves are made from a tough crystal substance that collects sunlight and gently glows. Embedded in her skull is a large oval-shaped gem. She communicates through body language and telepathy as her vocal cords can only produce screetches and growls. She has no tail.

Orla Westie
Orla was Rebecca's second fursona is that of an anthropomorphic West Highland White Terrier. She is described as being the opposite to Ixis; brash, arrogant, snobby and flirty.

She is shown to have a very strong Scottish accent, and has a penchant for strong ales. She dresses in a more feminine manner to Ixis, often showing cleavage or legs. She has a curvy frame, unlike Ixis's slim, fragile body.

Fandom involvement
Rebecca is part of the Furtopia forum's community, and an artist on FurAffinity. She also makes fursuits and is co-chairing the upcoming Scotiacon.

Fundraising
In March 09 Orla appeared in Inverness with her friend ThrashWolf and raised 110 pounds for UK charity Red Nose Day.
