Beastiality, is a [[Wikipedia:paraphilia|paraphilia]].

Beastiality is similar to [[Zoophilia|zoophilia]], however furries generally regard "beasties" as they are sometimes called as more savage, because those who practice beastiality typically use animals for sex as desired and do not necessarily form any emotional bond with the animal. Conversely, zoophiles regard their sexual conduct with animals as an extension of a deep, emotional or spiritual bond with an animal and may be monogomous with a single animal that they consider their [[mate]]. "Beasties" may use an animal for sex when convienent and desired, and such conduct may be considered rape if forced upon an unwilling animal.

Some furries are zoophiles, and some practice beastiality; however, this is a minority population within the [[Furry Fandom]].

[[WikiFur]] needs a '''logo'''. It should be 135x155 pixels (or potentially a little shorter), and it should try to communicate both "wiki" and "furry" in some way, potentially including part or all of the name "WikiFur".

Have a look at some of the [[Wikicities:Image:Logocollection.png|existing logos]] for some good (and bad) examples. As you can see, simpler is potentially better - any text should at least be discernable at 1/3 size.

To submit an image, you need to [[Special:Userlogin|login]], then [[Special:Upload|upload your image]] and add your submissions here by editing the page to add <nowiki>[[Image:YourImageName.png]]</nowiki>. 24-bit PNG is the preferred format - if it needs to be smaller, it can be reduced later.

Created in 2003 by [[Scott Ramsoomair]], VGCats is not a furry comic. However, some may be attracted to it for the primary recurring characters: a pink-furred [[female]] cat and a grey and white male [[cat]]. These two characters are the reason the comic is called VGCats and it should be noted that the comic itself pokes humorous fun at [[:Category:Video games|video games]] in general, although it can feature non-game subjects as well from time to time. The manner in which such humor is generated is similar to that of "Penny Arcade", which also pokes fun at video games.

For example, the comic may feature a strip that pokes fun at Metal Gear Solid, or The Legend of Zelda. At other times, it may feature a comic about anime, such as the infamous strip called "Lost In Translation" in which the arist depicts in his own way the process 4-Kids Entertainment takes an original Japanese anime and makes it "Kid Friendly". In this case, the strip used the [[anime]] "One Piece" as an example, and the strip itself graphically depics a robot mutilating the main character and dressing him in a pink dress. This mutilation included blood and gore, but not directly as the robot stood in front of the character it was mutilating. This completely obscured all but one of the victim's arms from view, but it did not obscure the depiction of what may have been the character's organs flying through the air.

Due to the nature of the comic as a whole at times, the rating is PG14 for tentative reasons (I don't think 'tentative' is the word you're looking for). The comic does contain swearing and depicts blood on occasion. It also makes what could be considered sexual references and innuendo as well. The swearing, however, is often limited and most often is tamed to "holy cow" and similar due mostly to the fact that it is a Canadian-made comic, but the reader should be advised that there are strips that have actual swearing in it depending on the point of view and opinions of the reader.

The Immunizer is a device which filters viruses and bacteria from the blood and renders the user resistant to the point of immunity against most diseases. The process is lengthy and inconvenient and must be performed regularly. it takes at least one year, sometimes two or three, of monthly treatments before the treatment reaches maximum efficacy, and consequently not everyone uses it.

Modern Immunizers are quite expensive to use and require extensive per-patient tuning, but are also very quick; a procedure takes merely a few minutes. Older models, such as those used in Free Clinics take several hours, so they must be signed up for well in advance. Older models are uncomfortable and leave the user with muscular aches and lethargy for the remainder of the day.

Originally, the three small wounds in a triangular pattern under the armpit were an unavoidable byproduct of the Immunizer, and it still is with the older models. Newer models can deliberately make three small punctures in the underarm, since this has become the sign for someone who uses an Immunizer regularly and is thus disease-free. Consequently, the grabbing of the back of one's head and the miming of exposing one's armpit has become a gesture to indicate someone who has frequent anonymous sex.

The host's body begins secreting certan substances in his bodily fluids which can be distilled into a very potent cross-species sex drug, superior in quality and effect to both [[Rut]] and [[Heat (Maranatha)|Heat]].

Short-term exposure causes acute symptoms very similar to drug withdrawal. Long-term exposure is known to affect the host's personality severely, altering their behaviour, as well as their prioritization processes.

In the story, this concept is a plot device, very much a MacGuffin. It's Unobtainium. How it works or even what it does isn't nearly as important as what the characters in the story are willing to do over it.

[[Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka|Lowtax]], after getting rather annoyed with having the obtuse-humored subforum filled with even more horrendous furry spam, created the Furry Concentration Camp, a subforum which acted much like "FYAD," but disconnected furries from the main forum. The furries who spammed-- and many others who didn't, but were labelled anyway for humorous effect, such as user Procrasturbator-- were placed in this subforum because they were incredibly annoying. It also proved to be a place where members of FYAD could come in and ridicule other furries for their own humor. However, after a few months, the furry goons took the forum for themselves and turned it into their own "Furry FYAD." In mid-summer, to save CPU cycles, [[Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka|Lowtax]] deleted the forum.

Goons are members of the [[Something Awful]] forums. Although it is not proven, goons and [[trolls]] both do much the same kinds of acts which include launching personal attacks, defaming a subject or event, stirring up trouble in communities, fandoms, and other such [[crap]]. In other words, they are internet users.

Their actions are normally seen as posts on a [[message board]], but also has been seen on wikis like this one where the work they do concerns editing and defacing invalid articles to suit their much apparent hatred of a given subject or joke of a community. However, this kind of "check" to the furry fandom probably isn't a horrible thing.

However, most non "Stupid Newbie" Goons do have a sense of humor.
