== Pensive Moone: Introduction ==
Pensive, known mainly as Pen, is a 19 year old furry currently residing in the Dallas/Fort worth area of TX. She has been drawing since she could pick up a pencil, though her art was always animal- or anthro-related so it was only a matter of time before she found the furry fandom in her Freshman year of highschool. Since then, she has mainly focused on improving her anthropomorphic artwork and, as of late 2006, the creating of fursuits and other arts in the 3D range.

== The Fursona ==
Pensive's fursona is a coydog (border collie/coyote mix). Though she began life as a quadruped (four-legged) pup, Pensive is now usually portrayed as being anthropomorphic. Pensive is sometimes portrayed in artwork as female and sometimes portrayed as androgynous (genderless, appearance-wise).

== Fursuiting ==
Pensive owns three fursuits: Pensive the coydog (made by Sapphire/MangoIslandCreations), Melody the border collie (made by JillCostumes), and a secret suit still in progress of being completed.

== Relationships ==
Pensive is in a long-term relationship with Echo Husky. They started dating on July 10, 2008 and moved in together in August of 09. On July 10, 2010, after exactly 2 years of dating, Pensive and Echo got engaged. There is, as of yet, no set date for the wedding.

== Pensive Moone: Introduction ==
Pensive, known mainly as Pen, isn't exactly your average teen furry. She is a high school student residing in Texas, and is hoping to eventually go to college to become an illustrator, though her life-long dream is to eventually work for Disney either as a mascot or as a character designer (doing the initial character design sketches).

== The Fursona ==
Pensive's "fursona", so to speak, is an australian blue merle shepherd. She comments that this is purely for artistic reasons; she has no spiritual connection to her fursona (to be discussed later).
== Fursuiting and Collar...ing?==
Pensive has long been into costuming, so it was only natural for her to fall in love with the fursuiting aspect of the furry fandom. She currently owns only one fursuit: a purple border collie, Pen Collie, a fullsuit which she commissioned in 2007 (made through collaboration by Keyoki, BladeSPark, and CF Costumes). Pensive is working on getting a partial of her fursona made, though it is in the works. She wants it to have a good moving jaw so that she can talk and sing in suit. "Singing and saying random, stupid stuff is part of my personality. I want it to show through my fursona, as well." Pensive says. She also plans to eventually commission a realistic werewolf fullsuit when funds allow.

Pensive also owns multiple tails (including her favorite, a red husky made by Growly the Bear) which she enjoys wearing at any opportunity, and two collars (possibly soon to become more) which she absolutely adores. Pensive is the first to joke that she probably has an unhealthy obsession with collars. "I just can't stop buying them!" she laughs. "I don't even /wear/ them that often...I just love having them!"

As an update, Pen Collie faced up against [[Crash the Dog]] in the [[Fandom's Favorite Fursuit Fracas]] in 2008. She gave it a good run and, thanks to the support of her friends and fans, the voting ended with the following results: Crash the Dog 204, Pen Collie 115. Though she didn't win, she left the Fracas with a grin and wished Crash good luck in the next round. Pensive was also surprised to find her purple collie mentioned in steviemaxwell's "Match of the Week" (seen <a href=http://steviemaxwell.livejournal.com/198846.html>here</a>).
==Spirituality ==
Though Pensive draws herself as an australian shepherd, she comments that she feels a much stronger connection to wolfhounds/wolves than any other creature, though would not consider her fursona to be one as her connection with werewolves are entirely spiritual, not atristic. She associates with what she calls "transspecies-ism"...similar to transgender-ism, except she associates with a different species rather than a different gender.

She describes her "Otherside" (as she calls it) as a smaller wolfhound with rounded ears, a larger and bushier tail, and lacking the typical wolfhound "mustache and beard". For these reasons, Pensive suspects her Otherside is a wolfhound mixed with something else, though she isn't entirely sure what it is.

Art is from the published book, "Magyk", and was an illustration for one of the chapters. Upon seeing the image, Pensive says, "It just...HIT something. It felt right."

No, Pensive does not believe she is actually a wolfhound. Believing in the concept of reincarnation, she believes that her soul was misplaced, possibly through reincarnation, and therefore she has the soul of something canine rather than the soul of a human as per should be. "I'm not complaining, it's just hard to explain to people without them looking at you like you've just been playing one too many roleplaying games," she laughs, then becomes somewhat more serious. "And sometimes it /does/ start to get annoying feeling like you were born into the wrong body. Never to the point where I can't stand it, but it's still there."
== Relationships ==
Recently Pensive became single, having broken up with her mate of nearly a year and a half. The pressures of keeping the relationship working after moving to Texas were getting to her, and it was hard to make things work. Though single now, Pen is not necessarily looking for anyone else, but she comments, "If love finds me, so be it." Right now, she's just enjoying the single life and spending quality time with her friends.
