Furry Romania is a website for and about the Romanian furry fandom.

Overview
Furry Romania, as a website, offers an introduction to the furry fandom, forums, and an art gallery.

History
Furry Romania started back in 2007 when Taoki from Romania was getting a little too curious about a subculture that at that time was mostly unknown in the country. That person asked on a well-known forum about that one particular subculture, but people started to make fun of him because it seemed like nothing more than just a strange fetish.

From mid-2008 onward, he began opening accounts titled "Furry Fandom Romania" and registered an official website for potential local fans of this subculture. The site went silent until 2015, when it was transferred to a person under the name Raito. In his own words:

In 2017, Raito registered a new website, created a Facebook group, and established a Discord group.
