I vote for deletion or massive revision and trimming - what's shown here is hardly relevant to our primary subject. -- [[User:Siege|Siege]] 06:02, 20 Nov 2005 (UTC)&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
I shortened the article to a sentance. I have been copying and adding pages from Wikipedia to Wikifur when it comes to articles on animals or other beings furries are interested in. I understand that the Wikifur is NOT trying to be Wilipedia but I thought that having full, complete articles rather than the paragrapgh or two that seem to appear would due until more furs start adding and changing them. Since I copied them from Wikipedia I put a reference to that database on the top of the pages for copyright purposes, I felt it would only be fit to explain where it is that I got the articles from. &lt;br /&gt;

It looks like they're keeping it deleted so it needs some mention somewhere on Wikifur, preferably in a place people can find and should include the word ''fursecution''. As of August 2006, deviantART has a top-level anthro category, potentially exposing a greater proportion of the deviantART audience to anthropomorphic art.&lt;br /&gt;

Various &amp;quot;clubs&amp;quot; have been formed to connect the furry community on deviantART, similar to communities on [[LiveJournal]]. A handful of anthro-oriented chat rooms have also formed since August 2004.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Despite a big presence on deviantART, however, the growth of anthro and furry users (and their influence) is slow, and is expected to decline as many prefer more furry oriented communities such as [[Fur Affinity]].{{fact}}&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;hr /&gt;
&lt;div&gt;'''The Burrows''' is a now-defunct furry sharehouse in Arana Hills, [[Brisbane]], Queensland, [[wikipedia:Australia|Australia]]. It was re-named in early 2008 when a large amount of furs from &amp;quot;The Den&amp;quot; sharehouse moved in and the previous housemates vacated to other areas.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==History==&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Burrows was officially named 10th July 2007. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Originally it started with Kiba as the only fur, but as more non-furs moved out and furries took their places, it finally became a fur house. Icirus first moved in with Shade, and soon suggested FoxofFire move in and fill up another empty room. As FoxofFire was moving in, Neox stayed with him for a few nights and liked the house so much he ended up moving in. In that time, another non-fur moved in and, learning about the other house-mates, soon became fur-friendly. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Mandy was one of the orignal house-mates in the house with Kiba, and didn't mind any of the furs moving in as she was also fur-friendly.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
As well as being the only two non-furs in the house, Mandy and Al are also the only straight people in The Burrows and are sometimes referred to as the &amp;quot;breeders&amp;quot; or the &amp;quot;pets&amp;quot; of the furs, all in play and fun.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Mandy moved out at the start of 2008 due to her new boyfriend.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Moreth moved to Sydney, FoxofFire moved into &amp;quot;The Cave&amp;quot;, Neox, icirus and Shade moved elsewhere. Al still resides in the house.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Party Time?==&lt;br /&gt;
The question of &amp;quot;Party time?&amp;quot; was a regular question asked around The Burrows and the resulting parties are mostly spontaneous and unplanned, save for outings to get dinner from local restaurants. One time, the residents of The Burrows decided going to Night Owl down the road for snacks which quickly turned into going down there dressed up in 70's style, which then turned into walking around that area dressed like that for the evening and on the way home a trip to the bottle shop somehow happened and the rest of the night was pool, drinks, poker and &amp;quot;spin-the-bottle/truth-or-dare.&amp;quot; &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
Do folks think it is necessary/relevant to have all that detail on the convention's charity?  Looking at some of the recent articles for other conventions such as [[Anthrocon]] and [[Further Confusion]], there is maybe a short sentence or two that talks about the charity.  Contrast that with the wording in this article, which comes off more as an advertisement for the charity in question.  What do other folks think?  --[[User:Dmuth|Douglas Muth]] 20:47, 15 January 2007 (UTC)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
:I think it's borderline. Generally, I'd include link to the organization's website, plus a quick summary of the organization (location and type of orgqnization/what it does), and perhaps something specific such as that what the con raised was such and such a percentage ofthe organization's funds for the year, or went towards such and such a speicifc project. -- [[User:Sine|Sine]] 20:53, 15 January 2007 (UTC)&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
The Sheraton, which was changed to for this year's con due to a lack of space at the previous inn, has sold out all the basic rooms available for FWA as of this past weekend. [http://community.livejournal.com/furryweekend/67263.html (LJ post)] Should this be noted in the article, or just wait to see how much of a jump in attendance it results in? [[User:SpazKitty|Spaz Kitty]] 05:42, 16 January 2007 (UTC)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
:I would hold off. For one thing, the convention is only a month away and there will be hard numbers available then. For another, and this is speaking as both a cynic and someone who is well-familiar with convention hotel negotiations, they have sold out &amp;quot;the rooms available to &amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt;[them]&amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;&amp;quot;; this means that they have filled their room block. This may or may not be meaningful, because it all depends on how big the room block they negotiated with the hotel; if they only negotiated (for example) for 50% of the rooms and the rest of the hotel has filled up with non-convention-related travelers, then them selling out their room block may not be all that notable. I certainly wish them well and hope that FWA sees some great growth (and that they're prepared for it :-) but that's the realities of the situation. ----[[User:DuncanDaHusky|DuncanDaHusky]]&amp;lt;sup&amp;gt;([[User talk:DuncanDaHusky|talk]])&amp;lt;/sup&amp;gt; 14:46, 16 January 2007 (UTC)&lt;br /&gt;

'''Furry Weekend Atlanta''', often abbreviated simply as '''FWA''', is a regional [[furry]] [[convention]] held in [[Wikipedia:Atlanta, Georgia|Atlanta, Georgia]]. FWA's mascots are a [[fennec fox]] and a [[rabbit]], although in [[Furry Weekend Atlanta 2008|2008]] the convention appeared to use a [[red fox]] instead of a fennec in its official artwork. The convention started in 2004, and most recently occurred on the weekend of February 15 to 17 in 2008. Although the convention originally was held around [[Wikipedia:Valentine's Day|Valentine's Day]], often with a similar theme (represented in the conbook and on the con shirt), the con was rescheduled for the weekend of March 19-22 in 2009.&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;[http://community.livejournal.com/furryweekend/195282.html Furry Weekend Atlanta 2009: The Official Announcement] by [[Kiran Lightpaw]].&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; It is the [[List of conventions by attendance|4th largest furry convention]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==History==&lt;br /&gt;
Furry Weekend Atlanta was the logical outgrowth of furry gathering held for years in Atlanta at the homes of various furs. Over the years, as more and more furs showed up in the metro Atlanta area, the gatherings became larger and larger. The idea of holding a furry convention was raised by several members of the Atlanta furry family, first in 2001 when nothing became of it, and then again in 2003. As the result of several planning sessions held in August of 2003, a concrete plan emerged to hold a convention in February of 2004. The name chosen echoes that of [[Wikipedia:Anime Weekend Atlanta|Anime Weekend Atlanta]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
====[[Furry Weekend Atlanta 2004]]====&lt;br /&gt;
About 270 people attended the first Furry Weekend Atlanta at the [http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/1/en/hd/atlap Holiday Inn Airport North] from February 13 to 15 in 2004. The guest of honor was [[LatinVixen]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
====[[Furry Weekend Atlanta 2005]]====&lt;br /&gt;
Around 500 people from 32 states and three foreign countries attended the convention from February 11 to 13 in 2005. The guests of honor included [[Jessie T. Wolf]] and [[Fel]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
====[[Furry Weekend Atlanta 2006]]====&lt;br /&gt;
557 people from 36 states and four foreign countries attended the convention from February 17 to 19 in 2006. The guests of honor included [[Bill Holbrook]] and [[Matt Burt]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
====[[Furry Weekend Atlanta 2007]]====&lt;br /&gt;
Furry Weekend Atlanta 2007 selected the [http://www.starwoodhotels.com/sheraton/search/hotel_detail.html?propertyID=48 Sheraton Gateway Hotel] as its new venue. The Holiday Inn Airport North had become too small for the size of the convention, and the new facility offered roughly double the space available to the rapidly growing convention. However, the Sheraton itself was sold out before the 2007 convention.&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;[http://www.furryweekend.com/node/61 ''SHERATON SOLD OUT!''] by Kiran Lightpaw.&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; The final attendance count was 762, a 37% increase over the previous year. The guests of honor included [[Strider Orion]] and [[Daria McGrain]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
====[[Furry Weekend Atlanta 2008]]====&lt;br /&gt;
FWA returned to the Sheraton Gateway Hotel on February 15-17, 2008, with [[Bonk]] and [[Tilt Longtail]] as the Guests of Honor, and 1,046 furs attending.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
====[[Furry Weekend Atlanta 2009]]====&lt;br /&gt;
FWA 2009 brought two big changes to the convention: a move in location to the [http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hotel/ATLAHHH-Hilton-Atlanta-Georgia/index.do Hilton Atlanta Hotel] and a change in dates from mid-February to March 19-22.&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;[http://www.furryweekend.com/faq/move FAQ: Our Move] on FWA's official website.&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Organization==&lt;br /&gt;
Furry Weekend Atlanta is produced by Furry Weekend Atlanta, Inc., a non-profit corporation organized pursuant to the Georgia Non-Profit Corporation Code. Furry Weekend Atlanta Inc., in turn, is headed by an Executive Committee and tasked with operating the yearly convention, and promoting the acceptance and appreciation of the anthropomorphic fandom in the Southeast and throughout the country as a whole. As a non-profit corporation, only funds necessary for the continuing operation of the convention are retained; the remaining funds are donated to appropriate charities.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In addition to operating the convention, Tiger Paw also moderates [[FLORA]], and works to organize the Georgia furry population for entertainment and service.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In accordance with Furry Weekend Atlanta's bylaws, all convention staff meetings are open unless issues being discussed are especially divisive or the good name of a member is being discussed.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
===Executive Committee===&lt;br /&gt;
The current Executive Committee of Furry Weekend Atlanta, Inc. consists of:&lt;br /&gt;
* [[Tiger Paw]], Chairman/CEO, a businessman from Atlanta.&lt;br /&gt;
* [[Kiran Lightpaw]], Director of Operations, a businessman and software engineer from Huntsville, Alabama.&lt;br /&gt;
* [[Santa Fox]], Director of Fursuit Events, an IT manager from Atlanta.&lt;br /&gt;
* [[Ulf Formynder]], Set/Strike Coordinator, a broadcasting student from Atlanta.&lt;br /&gt;
* [[Tiger Nick]], a Graphic Designer from Atlanta.&lt;br /&gt;
* [[Hux]], Director of Programming, a businessman and software engineer from Atlanta.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
===Staff===&lt;br /&gt;
At the end of every convention, Furry Weekend Atlanta opens its staffing ranks for the next convention season in a meeting held usually following closing ceremonies. Prospective applicants will be able to find out a little about the &amp;quot;behind the scenes&amp;quot; work of the convention, and will be informed how to fill out the application online.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Charities==&lt;br /&gt;
From 2005 to 2006, Furry Weekend Atlanta's official [[charity]] was the [http://www.wildliferehabsanctuary.org/ Ellijay Wildlife Rehabilitation Sanctuary], located a short distance from Atlanta in Ellijay, Georgia. The sanctuary is a state and federally licensed facility operated by Craig and Debbie Cylke, both of whom are certified in wildlife rehabilitation. To date, the sanctuary’s dedicated staff has educated over 100,000 children and adults through on-site course offerings, summer camps, and mobile education programs. Furry Weekend Atlanta attendees donated almost $4,000 to the Sanctuary in 2006, and almost $3,000 the year before.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The official charity for 2007 and 2008 is [http://www.conservatorscenter.org/ Conservator's Center, Inc.], a nonprofit organization working for the preservation of target threatened species through scientifically responsible captive breeding, organizing and participating in a coalition of organizations to manage and mediate animal emergency and crisis resolution situations nationally while serving as a resource for the educational and scientific communities.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;hr /&gt;
&lt;div&gt;{{Cleanup}}&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Sparky the Chu is a furry artist whose style is based on anime/manga of Japan. He resides within Italy, and enjoys macro/micro as well as vore. His fursona is an anthromorhpic pikachu with an allergy to getting poked that causes him to shrink.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
----&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Fictional Character Background&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In this world, there is as much light as there is darkness. To find proof of this, one must look beyond the city streets, where crime and decay are simply facts of life that people live with. One must look beyond the towns, where people fight to maintain whom they are, against the rising tides of civilization which would strip them of their identities. One must even look beyond humanity itself, and into the eyes of a child, for there, you will see the purest form the light can take, dwelling within the heart and mind untainted.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In this case, one might look into the eyes of a young pikachu, who lives now with the people in the city, making his way along as much as he can, and living like any other, always trying to maintain his sense of self in the hustle and bustle of life. Once though, he was a simple pikachu, born in the woods where most such beings are, to two loving parents, who were the strongest of their kind in the forest where they made their home. They were the very incarnations of what humans would consider love, for both each other, and their three children.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
One, a boy, was large, and had the powers of electricity that were as strong as his father's, able to rip trees from the ground even at his age, he would grow to be stronger than his father, more than likely. Another, a girl, had the beauty and control of her mother, and even if she lacked the sheer muscle of her brother, she could beat him as often as he beat her by using her electric attacks in ways no one else had ever seen before, surprising everyone with her abilities, and garnering many compliments from the pokemon in the forest.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The last though, was not so big, and not so strong. Nor did he have control as his sister did, for his power would come in hiccups, there and gone again as fast as the blink of an eye. But this never made him feel left out, for his parents would not allow it, and neither would his siblings. Instead they helped him, teaching him to use what powers he had, and to make up for what he lacked with other moves that, though less powerful than the electrical ones, were his alone.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Thus were the earlier days of the young Chu's life very happy indeed, surrounded by the love of his family, and the warmth of his home. Even during the storms that would sometimes tear through the forest, he was never scared, so long as he had his family nearby to hold. For his power, which came only in small sparks, his parents decided to name him Sparky, and watched as he grew along with his brother and sister, content to let them wander, and merely teach when they thought it was right, or to allow them to learn on their own when they thought they could.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Light like that, is rare sometimes, and even when it shines brightly, as it did, there is always darkness waiting somewhere to snatch it away. In this case the remnants of Team Gamma, an organization that once thought to find the gene that gives pokemon their powers and give it to humans, intervened in the life of the young chu.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Team Gamma had been beaten years before Sparky was born, their leaders, the Triumvirate, injecting themselves with PokeGene, and evolving into something grotesque that ripped apart an entire town, before one of their earlier creations, a Ditto with the power to remember and combine his transformations, faced them, with the son of its creator as its trainer, a boy who sought revenge for the murder of his mother. Together these two felled the Triumvirate's monstrous form, sending it back to the vile pit from whence it came, and shattering Team Gamma.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
But things like Gamma never stay down forever, and after some years of trying, Gamma gathered once more, now with the ability to go to other worlds, they hunted not just pokemon, but all creatures, in their pursuit of the perfect gene, the one that was pure evolution. With that gene in hand they would create an army of gods that would be of them, and then conquer all the worlds they had found in the name of progress.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Thus did they come into the forest one night, wearing suits that made them silent as they stepped over leaves and branches. Grabbing random pokemon they selected the best and the brightest, or in Sparky's case, they found that his siblings were, and chose to take him instead, feeling that if they could discover why he had not turned out that great, they would be able to unlock the potential of all the ones they had captured.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So it was, that Sparky went to sleep in the arms of his mother, curled up with his family in the loving warmth that was their existence, and awoke to find himself locked in a cage, surrounded by things that made the creatures back home look ordinary. Some were truly horrible in their thoughts and actions, living only to cause pain and suffering in others. These would, more often than not, be selected as members of Team Gamma, and turned toward their purpose.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Soon only a small group of animals and others remained in the hands of the scientists, these unuseable as members because of their morals or inability to fight. Talking with them, Sparky discovered that there seemed to be no way out, and so he would submit for a time, to the testing and experiments, gaining many new powers, some useful, such as forms that were nearer to human than his own, and others, like his allergy to being poked, which caused him to shrink, were not so useful, and potentially dangerous.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Life was bleak for everyone then, but one day, one of the scientists seemingly without meaning to left the keys to their cages just laying nearby, and with a small run of electricity into his bars, he turned them into magnets to help attract the keys, which was, incidentally, something that the scientist had taught him he could do only just that day. Freeing himself, the chu then freed all of his friends, not wanting them to continue living like slaves to the desires of others.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Once out, they agreed that they needed to separate, for they would never make it out as a group, after all Gamma had given them most of their powers and thus, the defenses were designed to contain them, even all together, but escaping from multiple places at once, pulled their forces out of position, contradictory orders coming from different leaders at the lab, all of which felt their subject was more important than the others.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The chu though, found himself still in the base when everything was finally locked down, though none had noticed him, due to his small size. Thinking quickly he decided to get out riding with one of the Team Gamma members, and made his way around the base, soon finding himself in the locker room, where the clothes for the various members were hung, so that they could blend in with the population of the city in which they had built their base.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Unable to climb up high enough to get into a pocket, the chu resigned himself to riding in a shoe, and climbed inside one, waiting for what seemed like hours before it moved, and then found himself squished into the sole as the coarse fibers of a sock pressed him down, each step conforming to his body. Oddly he found the smell and feeling of the sock to be something he enjoyed, the way the foot shaped to him, covering him in its softness, was so much like his mother's embrace.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
And with the padded sole beneath, he barely felt the jarring impacts which each step, merely the rush as he was raised and lowered quickly, quite like the feeling of his father spinning him around when he had been small enough to do so with. Laughing and giggling he was not felt by the one he rode with, who was distracted by the escape of the other experiments so much that details of the moment escaped him. He did however note his own hunger, and soon the chu found himself freed, and climbed out of the shoe, to discover that he was in a restaurant.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Seeing all the humans eating food, Sparky remembered that he himself had not had anything but the fibrous and harsh food they fed to the laboratory prisoners since his capture, and taking a glance around he was quick to find the kitchen, where the smells of cooking food could be felt as much as smelled. Rushing across the restaurant, careful not to be seen, he made his way into the kitchen, and very soon there was a fat and happy chu, sitting inside a small hole he'd eaten into the side of a steak.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The hole was so small, in fact, that the server didn't notice it, as she took the plate out to the one who ordered it, and the chu found himself trapped inside the slab of beef, unable to run without revealing himself to the lab. Looking up at the one who would devour him if he did not move, the chu found him to be reminiscent of a young trainer that had wandered through the woods with a pikachu when he'd been with his parents, and remembering how kind that boy had been toward him, Sparky decided to become part of a meal for this double.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So it was that on the first bite of his steak, this boy, who was in fact the double of a famous pokemon trainer in this reality, took into his mouth more than just steak. The boy didn't chew, luckily, the bite having been for tasting more than eating, and with the chu's flavor mixing with the meat, it tasted wonderful, and with a single gulp Sparky was sent downward into his belly, which gurgled and churned around him, digesting him with the rest of his meal.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Only for the chu to reform later. Sparky, having never experienced such a thing, was as surprised as anyone when he appeared in the boy's lap sometime later that day, his size restored to its normal. Before the boy could even being to understand what it was that was in his lap, Sparky fled, going anywhere he could, a wanderer now, without the home or family of his youth. He makes his way through life now, always trying to have fun, and give the same fun to others, and never losing that spark of Light, that lays just behind his eyes.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;div&gt;'''Woggle''' (born Joseph M. Harrison on June 19th, 1972&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;[http://javarod.livejournal.com/profile Javarod's profile] on [[LiveJournal]]. Retrieved December 6th, 2007&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt;) is a [[writer]] who lives in [[Wikipedia:Phoenix, Arizona|Phoenix, Arizona]], U.S.A, and works as a courier. An escapee of the east coast, he writes what comes to him, [[furry]] or otherwise, and attends the occasional [[con]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==History==&lt;br /&gt;
Woggle first appeared in the [[furry community]] in 1999, when he posted on [[alt.lifestyle.furry]] under the name '''XiP'''. Woggle contributed to [[Anthrocon]] by being one of the many furs who helped set up and operate the [[Art show|Art Show]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In 2000, Woggle continued his volunteer work with Anthrocon as well as creating the [http://groups.yahoo.com/group/furshore/ FurShore] mailing list.  Originally targeted at furs living along the Jersey shore, its membership rapidly expanded throughout the state and into surrounding states. At its peak, more than 400 messages were passed through the group per month. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In the mid-2000s, Woggle created [[Golden_Lash|The Golden Lash]] on [[Tapestries]] [[MUCK]], a popular [[BDSM]] club currently residing in the hands of [[Ruhemaus]], his chosen successor.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
As of December, 2007, Woggle had two new projects in the works, a [[MUCK]] built from scratch based on [[Golden_Lash|The Golden Lash]], tentatively to carry that name in lieu of any better name ideas, and [[phoenixphurmeet|Phoenix Phurmeet]], a cross between a [[Furmeet|fur meet]] and a holiday party, tentatively scheduled for December 2008. Both are currently shelved due to a variety of problems, although plans remain to start a muck based on a smaller section of [[Golden_Lash|The Golden Lash]] named [[Spreader_Bar|The Spreader Bar]]. As of May 2008, a new project was started, the [[SHAPE]] role play universe on [[Live Journal]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Fursonas==&lt;br /&gt;
Thanks to indecision, Woggle's name and species have changed several times over the years. He has been known as XiP, '''Red Jack''', Woggle, and '''Fluxxx''', and his species has been [[kangaroo]], cataur, and [[marten]]. He has now settled as a [[leopard]]-[[Wikipedia:fisher (animal)|fisher]] named Woggle.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
There are actually two versions of Woggle, the adult one used on [[Tapestries]] [[MUCK]] and in role playing with [[Sashi138]], and the 'real' Woggle used in the [[SHAPE]] universe.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Woggle's alternate [[fursona]]s include:&lt;br /&gt;
* '''Allegro''', a [[male]] [[Wikipedia:zorse|zorse]] (1/4 [[zebra]], 3/4 [[horse]])&lt;br /&gt;
* '''P|ug''', a male-she (cuntboy/pussy boi) tech [[Wikipedia:gerbil|gerbil]] (unofficially part of the ''[[Trouble%27s_Tales|Trouble's Tales]]'' universe)&lt;br /&gt;
* '''Dartz''', a male [[Wikipedia:lamia (mythology)|lamia]]&lt;br /&gt;
* '''Za''', a male demon-fairy&lt;br /&gt;
* '''Javarod''', a male cataur&lt;br /&gt;

The #agnph irc channel is currently found on their own network.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;nowiki&amp;gt;#&amp;lt;/nowiki&amp;gt;agnph was founded on Undernet in late 1999. In 2000 it was moved to Esper, which would be its &amp;quot;home&amp;quot; for the longest block of time so far. In 2004 [[DrGamez]] revived the chatroom as well as the website, moving it to Furnet for a short time; by late 2004 the chatroom was moved back to Esper, after [[Psyco_Charmander]] managed to obtain founder status from [[Saber]]. On July 3, 2005 #agnph was moved from Esper to its new, permanent home on their own server (irc.agnph.com).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
[[Psyco_Charmander]] is the current Network Administrator, inheriting the #agnph channel on Esper from Saber.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
== History ==&lt;br /&gt;
The original AGNPH Archive was proposed to the group on 03/11/99 and first opened on 03/16/99.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The site was created for those who could not access the actual group, as in those early days there were many on [[AGFFH]] who could not get there, but wanted to see the images, so the Archive was created for them, as well as for those who could get to the group, but may miss posts for one reason or another.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Original Archive was designed and maintained solely by Racso.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Archive was originally created just for the binary posts, but as since become a home to AGNPH's binaries, stories, and even stories and images submitted directly to the site, that never even see the light of the actual group.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Late 2003, [[Lando]] and [[Psyco_Charmander]] approached DrGamez with an idea to re-open the AGNPH. Having some free space on his then limited hosting DrGamez decided to design and host the website. The first incarnation was quite crude when compared to other websites or even the current form of the archive now. The stories' archive was hand updated by Lando, which included a very lengthy and non-streamlined process. The gallery then was running off [http://gallery.menalto.com/ Gallery], a crude and simple photo management system.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
[[Image:Agnph12.gif|right|thumb|100px|AGNPH Comic illustrating their early problems.]]While this worked for the first few months soon DrGamez began to realize his simple shared hosting was not going to be enough. Soon the dreaded 509 Errors (Bandwidth overage) began to appear every other day, crippling the quickly growing website. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It was at this time the admins were looking around for different hosting options. Racso of the original AGNPH archive had gotten in contact with the current operators, offering them not only agnph.com (they were using .net until now) but also plenty of bandwidth and space to house the quickly growing archive.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
After a few days of downtime AGNPH.com was finally up and running on new hardware, sporting near a terabyte of free bandwidth to burn. It was at this time the [http://www.agnph.com/oekaki/ oekaki] was put back in the website, drawing a smaller section of users to contribute in a different way.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Now freed from the financial burden of hosting AGNPH DrGamez was more able to promote the website. Starting with a few small contests ranging from story writing to full art contests the prizes were handed out to anyone who entered and won. Ranging from video games, to iPods, and even [[Zeta Creations]] toys the contests were always an attraction to the website.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
[[Image:Something agnpawful.gif|left|thumb|100px|SA's ALOD]]&lt;br /&gt;
On March 28, 2005, [[Something Awful]] picked up on AGNPH, featuring it on their news-page as an Awful Link of the Day ([http://www.somethingawful.com/d/awful-links/awful-link-2762.php link]). This caused a very large rush of new users, most of them SA Goons looking to just cause problems within the website. While no damage was really done it did give AGNPH a good amount of free promotion, pushing its bandwidth usage to about 300gb/month.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A period of steady constant growth followed after [[Something Awful]]'s influx of users. Bringing in new artists and authors the page was soon becoming a well known furry archive, especially when linked from [[Yiffstar]], their biggest referrer to date.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Early 2006 brought another problem to AGNPH. Racso (the current host of AGNPH's server) was having financial problems and let DrGamez know soon his generous hosting would have to be ending. Letting the community know of the problem DrGamez advised users save all images and stories they might want, unsure of the future of the website. This of course spiked up the bandwidth usage, causing a flood of users and spiking up the bandwidth usage to its highest peak in 2005. Realizing the site was going to disappear if nothing was done DrGamez realized he would have to pick up the bill. In a very smooth transition he moved AGNPH from Racso's server over to his own. Many users were a bit confused and to this date may not even realize the servers have moved.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The AGNPH of current day is now maintained on the new server by DrGamez, with all of the behind the scenes work such as setting up the IRC and various services around the website being handled by [[Eevee (person)|Eevee]]. With no major plans on the horizon AGNPH shouldn't be looking at many more problems in the near future.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;div&gt;'''Aeth Wolf''' (born November 27, 1985) is a [[wolf]] fur residing in [[Wikipedia:Elizabethton, Tennessee|Elizabethton, Tennessee]], USA. He is currently (April 2007) attending [[Wikipedia:East Tennessee State University|ETSU]] where he majors in Computer Science.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==History Within the Fandom==&lt;br /&gt;
Aeth first discovered the furry fandom back in August 2002 while trying to find online games, which led him to [[Furcadia]].  He was initially drawn in by sheer curiousity as to what this whole &amp;quot;furry&amp;quot; thing was about.  Initially, he played a [[horse]], but, in December of 2002, he began playing a [[wolf]] character and something just &amp;quot;clicked&amp;quot;, and the character felt right for him to play.  He then spent a few months reading up on wolves, totems, and the like before making his official entrance into the fandom.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In late January 2003, Aeth posted his [http://groups.google.com/group/alt.lifestyle.furry/tree/browse_frm/thread/cce8e47c4175f373/e137389557bbf09a?rnum=1&amp;amp;q=aeth%27s+furvey&amp;amp;_done=%2Fgroup%2Falt.lifestyle.furry%2Fbrowse_frm%2Fthread%2Fcce8e47c4175f373%2Fde1a692d53cfe436%3Flnk%3Dst%26q%3Daeth%2527s%2Bfurvey%26#doc_e137389557bbf09a first furvey] to [[alt.lifestyle.furry]] and began using that moment as a marker for his official entry into the fandom.  His experiences with the fandom at this time were mostly limited to that newsgroup, the associated IRC channel on [[FurNet]], and [[Furcadia]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Several months later, his family lost their internet connection and did not regain it for approximately a year.  Furs local to him were scarce, so his interactions with the fandom were scaled back considerably.  He mostly just read up on furry comics while using his high school's net connection.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Oddly enough, it was during this time that he first uploaded the earliest version of his website to [[Furnation]].  The inspiration for doing so was the fluctuating block of the entire Furnation site by the school's web filter.  He got a slight thrill out of updating the site on the days he was actually able to connect to Furnation.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In early May 2004, Aeth opened up his [[LiveJournal]] account.  This provided him with greater access to the furry community as a whole.  He began making attempts to find those he knew from alt.lifestyle.furry as well as meeting new furs.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
From 2004 through 2005, Aeth began blending his love of classic rock with his fursona, essentially redesigning the whole character.  As he describes it, &amp;quot;This new version is slightly less generic than the old version.&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In 2006, he attended his first convention, [[Mephit Furmeet X]].  He thoroughly enjoyed the entire weekend and can not wait to go to another convention.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Fursona==&lt;br /&gt;
Aeth, the character, is currently a mostly generic [[anthropomorphic]] grey wolf with long black hair frequently seen sporting classic rock t-shirts and jeans.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In the beginning, Aeth was originally a [[wolftaur]] prince with a bad backstory involving treachery and the like who got his name from the human having been in the middle of compiling a 15 page essay on Anglo-Saxon Britain (&amp;quot;Aeth&amp;quot; being a shortened version of &amp;quot;Aethelfrith&amp;quot;).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
After several months of thinking Aeth was terrible as a character, Aeth (the human) changed Aeth into a generic, moderately buff grey wolf.  This form lasted up until the current version of Aeth was conceived.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In 2004, Aeth was revamped to be much more like the player, which included a heavy penchant for classic rock.  The character was given a collar and his generic t-shirt or vest was replaced with an AC/DC t-shirt.  This appearance has remained mostly unchanged to this date, save for the ignoring of the collar and the addition of a denim jacket.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Around 2005/2006, one last change was made to Aeth.  He was given a career as a minor rock star who plays mostly covers of existing songs.  So far, Aeth (the player) has only written three stories showing off this career.&lt;br /&gt;

		<summary type="html">&lt;p&gt;Numberwang: add&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;hr /&gt;
&lt;div&gt;'''Tirrel''' (A.K.A. Cerberus, Cerberusui) is a [[Macrofur]] artist living in [[Wikipedia:Great Britain|Britain]] who used to run a (mainly) Macrofurry based comic titled ''[[Not Big and Not Clever]]'', hosted on [[Macrophile|Macrophile.com]] under his user section. He also has a [[Fur Affinity]] site for unrelated works, including [[Wikipedia:Adobe Flash|Flash]] animations. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Tirrel seems to enjoy exploring the less commonly explored areas of his chosen scene and presenting them in a humorous way. A reoccurring theme in his art is visualizing the frustrations and dangers posed to his single non-giant character as a result of living amongst much larger friends and family. The results of such dangers are often portrayed with horrific and graphic detail; however, this is the only extreme trait of his work as he strictly avoids sex and related anatomy.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
There's also a recurring theme of futility to Tirrel's humour. Even though it's always the middle of a bright sunny day in his drawings, the comedy is almost always black. Nikita can't make friends, Snow can't be an adult, Rachel's schemes are always less clever than she imagines, Tetchie despises everything and Cerb gets to suffer physically for all their failings.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The majority of Tirrel's past works are drawn entirely with traditional mediums, namely Sharpie markers and colouring pencils. He switched from these tools to working solely with Macromedia Flash when his interest in drawing took a back seat to his love of animating.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He also enjoys trying out other forms of image making, having produced Flash animations (‘[http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view.php?id=339003 Raiders of the Trash’], '[http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/374647 The Ekkosangen]' '[http://media.putfile.com/Vex-Hates-You/ Vex Hates You]' and the ‘[http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/nutjob The Nut Job]’), as well as Sculpey models, textile dolls and cardboard sets. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
More recently, Tirrel expressed an interest in further exploring the Flash scene and has hired a team of creative people to help produce a browser game under his direction.&lt;br /&gt;
He also plans to create a second edition to the &amp;quot;Rockoons&amp;quot; series and a cartoon titled &amp;quot;California Screaming&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;div&gt;'''Why Mickey Mouse Wears Pants''' is the title of an article on [[furry fandom]] which appeared in the November 7, 2002 edition of ''The Varsity'', the student newspaper of the [[Wikipedia:University of Toronto|University of Toronto]]. It was written by Katie Raynes-Goldie.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The sexual angle of furry fandom is evident in this article, with [[MTV]], ''[[Vanity Fair]]'', [[plushophilia]], [[fursuit]] sex, and [[furotica]] all mentioned in the opening paragraph. However, in the second paragraph, the author notes &amp;quot;Furry isn’t a fetish, but a group of people who assume anthropomorphic personas, create anthropomorphic art and stories, make and wear costumes and go to furry conventions.&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Further into the article are an explanation of the word &amp;quot;[[yiff]]&amp;quot;, mentions of the websites [[fursuitsex.com]] and [[pureyiff.com]], and the position of the [[Burned Furs]] movement.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Various local furs are interviewed and given the chance to correct the misconceptions about the fandom. They describe aspects such as [[totem]] animals, the accepting nature of furries, and the prevalence of [[anthropomorphic]] animals in Western society.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
[[Anonymouse]], [[Iron Raptor]], [[Glaide]], [[Benjamin]] (founder of [[furry.ca]]), [[Verec]], and [[Gryphan Rose]] are quoted in the article, which has a note that &amp;quot;As requested by the participants, all names used are fictional, or furry persona names.&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;
