The first Rocky Mountain Fur Con was chaired by [[Kahuki Lairu]] with assistant chair [[Sorin Kat]], and took place at the [http://www.adamsmark.com/denver/ Denver Adam's Mark Hotel]. Rocky Mountain Fur Con was a "PG-13" con; minors were permitted in convention spaces with some restrictions, and the code of conduct accounted for this.<ref name="2014ConBook">The Rocky Mountain Fur Con 2014 con book.</ref>

While most aspects of the code of conduct were typical for furry conventions, Rocky Mountain Fur Con was one of only a few furry conventions in the United States that has had to address legal, recreational use of marijuana. RMFC's policy on marijuana was analogous to its policies on alcohol and tobacco. Use by attendees was not prohibited per se, but controlled substances may not be brought into any convention spaces, and attendees were expected to respect all local laws and hotel and convention policies that apply to marijuana use, smoking, and/or intoxication.<ref name="2014ConBook"/>

== Real life ==

In the land outside of the vast, bizarre [[Wikipedia:Internet|Internet]], Arcturus is a rather diminutive person of mostly [[wikipedia:Irish|Irish]] descent. She spends her days working on new and exciting projects for [[Angry Draken Media]] as well as a number of projects such as e621 in her free time. Whilst many online find she to be a rather exuberant and outspoken person, in real life she is quite introverted and shy.

== Technical responsibilities ==

Arcturus has helped to host a number of websites for individuals, groups and small organizations, both furry and not. In the past she helped to stream [[FBC]] content and, after assisting with rebroadcasting and archiving [[2 Sense]], moved to occasionally broadcasting shows. She was the founder of [[ArtPlz]] after the breakup of [[Fur Affinity]], at which time she withdrew her hosting following a managerial disagreement with Fur Affinity's founder and administrator [[Jheryn Lightfoot]].

ArtPlz itself also saw some drama after she developed [[ChanPlz]], an [[Fchan]] clone for posting furry art. Several volunteers withdrew their support for ArtPlz, such as [[Arshes Nei]] stating ethical reasons for doing so. ChanPlz was taken down a few days later by Arcturus and others involved in its creation.

Arcturus was an administrator for and systems administrator of [[WTFur]], a [[:Category:Mature image boards|mature furry image board]] much like Fchan, but subsequently came to run, own and maintain the furry community [[e621]]. As of August 31, 2010, she no longer runs e621, due to allegations of the site hosting child pornography. The site's data was transferred over to [[Varka]] when he offered to take over the site.

A Sergal's coat may be any range of colors with various styles of markings.

Chromatic limitation of the irises are a simple gray or blue. However, there is at least one known case of mutation resulting in color changes, such as General Rain Silves' gold irises.

Southern Sergals primarily live in the southern regions of Tal in rural areas, small towns, and Tal's greatest city of '''Gold Ring''' which was built next to the great Colvilous lake of southern Tal. A large majority live in the Gold Ring.

Their appearance differs greatly from their northern counterparts. Southern Sergals are generally shorter, have less thick fur and are slimmer. The primary fur colors are "brown, beige, blonde, and orange" for southern Sergals in the canon. They are smaller than their Northern relatives.

Southern Sergals also consider themselves to be much more civilized and cultured than northern Sergals. They value knowledge greatly. and they live with other, specifically [[Agudner]]s for a long time, and share their home, jobs, and culture with Agudners. Fashion is popular with Southerns, and because of this they like to dye their fur bright colors. Southern women unlike northerns also have their own style of clothing, as they have some gender differences.
