Mikune: reword

The subject of this article might be more appropriate for an entry in the Facebook article rather than as a standalone article. It should at least include a link to the group (which I would have added myself but couldn't find the group). --mwalimu (talk) 13:28, 26 March 2015 (EDT)

I'd also say this article contains a borderline hateful and completely non-factual statement saying that homosexuality is an "addiction". --mikune (talk) 06:03, 27 March 2015 (EDT)

He has an interest in history, ranging from ancient to modern times as well as Numismatics, Science and Nature. He often takes photographs at furmeets and uploads the best to his Fur Affinity account. He sometimes takes photographs whilst at ConFuzzled as well as occasionally acting as a handler for fursuiting friends. He often creates furry artwork and has done so for over 16 years. At around age 5 he developed a fondness for anthropomorphic animals which slowly grew over the years of watching cartoons and other mediums that included anthropomorphic animals, such as video games and books. As well as imagining himself as one and writing stories about them.

Mikune began his first furry forum activity on Furry Teens but left once he felt he had outgrown the site. He used to be a member of the now defunct Furspace and MyFursona. Mikune is fairly active on the UKFurs forum. He also served a brief spell as a helper on the official SoFurry Minecraft Server.cn He chose to sponsor WikiFur as he finds the website an invaluable resource and guide to the furry fandom.

Mikune attended his first furmeet in Leeds in October 30, 2010 and continues to attend other meets in the area (including the Leeds minimeet)clarify and elsewhere. He also attends and has attended furmeets in other locations such as Sheffield, Liverpool, York, Manchester, Llandudno and Birmingham. The first furry convention was 2013.

Mikune became a fursuiter on July 25, 2013. His fursuit, a partial of his fursona, was constructed by Made By Mercury. His first outing in fursuit was at the Manchester mini-meet in August 10, 2013.

Fursona
Mikune's fursona (pronounced .mick-une/mike-oon) is a folf. He is 6 feet, 3 inches (1.9 meters), is of a larger build and is grey colored with light grey markings on his face, chest, paws and feet. His headfur is incorporated into his body fur. He also has a light grey tip on the end of his foxish tail. Mikune is one percent more fox than wolf, but looks the same as any other folf. He usually wears a dark blue shirt and black jeans with no shoes.

Mikune also has a secondary character named Inky Wells. He is a light blue fox who sports darker blue tattoos and markings on his body, and is quite slender yet a little muscular. He has black splodgy markings on his paws, feet and tail, as if they have been dipped into a pot of ink. He has black hair, and a long fluffy tail like all foxes. He is often seen wearing little to no clothing, and likes to show off somewhat in his red boxer shorts. It is a little known fact that he is actually the frontman and guitarist of a Thrash metal band.

Mikune's fursona (pronounced .mick-une/mike-oon) is a folf. He is 6'3", is of a larger build and is grey coloured with light grey markings on his face, chest, paws and feet.

Activities
Mikune has always loved anthropomorphic animals, and declared himself a furry towards the end of 2008. He loves furry art, and enjoys drawing and playing video games. As of September, 2013, he has managed to amass over 1600 hours of gameplay on one of his favourite games, Team Fortress 2.

Mikune became a fursuiter on July 25, 2013. Mikune Folf (born October 20, 1993) is a fursuiter who lives in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England.

Fursona
Mikune's fursona (pronounced .mick-une/mike-oon) is a folf. He is 6'3", is of a larger build and is grey coloured with light grey markings on his face, chest, paws and feet. His headfur is incorporated into his body fur. He also has a light grey tip on the end of his Foxish tail. Mikune is one percent more fox than wolf, but looks the same as any other folf. He usually wears a dark blue shirt and black jeans with no shoes. Mikune also has a secondary character or "fursona" named Inky Wells, he is a light blue fox. He sports darker blue tattoos and markings on his body and is quite slender yet a little muscular. He also has black splodgy markings on his paws, feet and tail - as if they have been dipped into a pot of ink. He also has black hair, and a long fluffy tail like all foxes. He is often seen wearing little to no clothing and likes to show off somewhat in his red boxer shorts.

He has an interest in history, ranging from ancient to modern times as well as Numismatics, Science and Nature. He regularly takes photographs at furmeets and uploads the best to his Fur Affinity account. He is sometimes the photographer and fursuit handler of his friend, SuburbanFox, when Suburban is on a fursuit walk.

Mikune became a fursuiter on July 25, 2013. His fursuit, a partial of his fursona, was constructed by Made By Mercury.

Mikune enjoys most types of music, but his all time favourite genres are metal and 80's pop. He likes bands such as Rammstein, Dethklok, Slayer, Human League, The Police and Sonata Arctica. Mikune started his furry forum activity on Furry Teens but left once he felt he had outgrown the site. He used to be a member of the now defunct Furspace and MyFursona. Mikune is currently fairly active on the UKFurs forum. He also served a brief spell as a helper on the official SoFurry Minecraft Server.

Furmeets and Conventions
Mikune attended his first furmeet in Leeds October 2010 and continues to attend regular meets in Leeds (including the Leeds minimeet) and elsewhere. He also attends and has attended furmeets in other locations such as Sheffield, Liverpool, York, Manchester, Llandudno and Birmingham. He attended 2013 which was his first convention. His first outing in fursuit was at the Manchester mini-meet on 10th August 2013.

Hi there! I'm SuburbanFox. I'm a software developer, electronics and mechanical engineering hobbyist, webserver administrator (using cPanel/WHM on Linux) and amateur photographer (predominantly wildlife and nature, but also fursuit/furmeet photography).

My FurAffinity username is SuburbanFox, although I previously had another account (used solely for watching) under a different username.

I also have a Weasyl account. My username is, once again, SuburbanFox

Fan activities
I regularlarly attend the NorthernFurs Leeds meets and mini meets (my first was the October 2011 Leeds Main Meet). I have been known to venture further afield for other meets, e.g. the June 2012 Sheffield Main Meet.

Conventions
Past
* ConFuzzled 2012
Future
* ConFuzzled 2013

Fursuiting
I own two fursuits.

My first fursuit depicts my fursona character, also known as Syrrus. It was built by Apes and debuted at the LondonFurs meet on October 13th 2012, followed by the October 2012 NorthernFurs Leeds Main Meet.

My second fursuit is "Cosmo the Snow Leopard" and was built by Faruku. It debuted at ConFuzzled 2013 with sightings reported at York and Manchester furmeets.

Fursona character cameos
My fursona character has had cameo roles (usually non-speaking) in several online comics, including Ginpu (as a background extra in this strip), Precocious (as a TV newsreader in the 8th June 2011 strip) and the "Darius" arc of the Cyantian Chronicles (in a speaking role as "Syrrus", a technician aboard the dropship). It should be noted that these cameos are treated as "non-canon" for the character.

He has an interest in history, ranging from ancient to modern times as well as science and nature. He regularly takes photographs at furmeets and uploads the best to his Fur Affinity account. He is sometimes the photographer and fursuit handler of his friend, SuburbanFox, when Suburban is on a fursuit walk.

Mikune became a fursuiter on July 25, 2013. His fursuit, a partial of his fursona, was constructed by Made By Mercury.<ref>"Today I became a fursuiter :3" - posting on Mikune Folf's gallery on Fur Affinity. He likes bands such as Rammstein, Dethklok, Slayer and Sonata Arctica. Mikune is an inactive member of Furry Teens. He is also fairly active on the UKFurs forum. He also used to be a member of the now defunct Furspace and MyFursona.

He also attends and has attended furmeets in other cities such as Sheffield, Liverpool, York, Manchester, Llandudno and Birmingham. He attended 2013 which was his first convention. Silverfoxwolf, has been around the furry world since 1995 and became much more active around 2001. More recently though he has been using a shortened name SFW, and is also sometimes known as Silver. He is a fur from London, England. His fursona is a large anthromorpic wolf.

Fandom involvement
SFW is an enthusiastic staffer and volunteer at multiple events and conventions in the UK. He attended Confuzzled in 2009, 2010, and 2011 as a volunteer, and joined the staff in 2012 as deputy medic and Con Ops assistant. He is a part of the security team and first aider for Frantic Eufuria, the Head of Events for ScotiaCon and in October 2012 SFW was made the medic for NordicFuzzCon.

SFW often attends the LondonFurs pre-meets at Waterloo Station before heading to the main meet.

SFW owns one partial fursuit, Collin the Collie, which debuted at ConFuzzled 2011 and four full suits, Scratch, a mongrel dog, Sergeant Growler, a German shepherd police dog which debuted at Confuzzled 2012, Safetyfox, a red fox with high visibility markings which debuted at Confuzzled 2013 and Silverfoxwolf, which debuted at Eurofurence 2012. Collin, Sgt. Growler and Safetyfox were made by Made By Mercury who also refurbished Scratch. Silverfoxwolf was made by Qarrezel of Clockwork Creature Studio.

Conventions and events attended:
* ScotiaCon: 2011, 2012, 2013
* Confuzzled: 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013
* Eurofurence: 2012
* NordicFuzzCon: 2013
* Frantic_Eufuria: 4 (Nov 2011), 5 (April 2012), 6 (Oct 2012) & 7 (April 2013).

Outside the fandom
Outside of furry SFW works for a large London bus company repairing and maintaining vehicle electrical systems. He also volunteers with St. John Ambulance as a patient transport attendant which is partly how he came to be involved in furry events. For five years he also volunteered as a special constable with the Metropolitan Police progressing to become a special sergeant. However he left the police due to increasing pressure for specials to become regular officers and to concentrate more on the first aid volunteering. SFW practices amateur photography and has developed an interest in photographing architecture and landscapes.
