Mangusu (born April 24th, 1989) is a fursuiter, fursuit maker, and furry artist who is originally from Orlando, Florida, USA. His fursona is a mongoose.
Mangusu is most well known for his dancing feats and videos on YouTube featuring his fursuits. Amongst the fandom he is often titled as the Mongoose King.
Most working in both traditional and digital media, Mangusu occasionally posts submissions to various art archives. Starting in 2009, Mangusu posted his own humorous comic strip entitled "My Side of the Fandom".
Mangusu has been noted for his sense of charisma and talent for embodying his own characters. He has run a few of his own panels including the entertaining Furry Dating Game, Furry Vines, and Posing in Fursuit. Mangusu has also DJ'ed at a convention dance and achieved much attention for his eccentric masquerade costume. In 2012 he was invited to the 2012 convention in the UK as Guest of Honour alongside musician Colson Grainger. His dancing style has been described as 'sassy' by many and has won him more 3rd place rankings than any other performer.

He has also constructed a few fursuits, including:
* Chopper, a reindeer from the anime series One Piece.
* Daxter, an ottsel (otter/weasel hybrid) from the video game series Jak and Daxter.

Tac
A blue rockstar cat with soul-less eyes and 'amazing hair'. Tac debuted at Furloween X in 2008 and is inspired by Gorillaz cartoon vocalist, 2D. Tac has trademark actions such as crawling in a spastic manner across convention carpets or bending over backwards. This character is often considered to be a zombie fur by his appearance and undead antics. The true story behind this behavior is attributed to Tac's unstable soul prone to frequent possession by free roaming spirits. Much work has occurred over time on the contruction of Tac as a suit. The suit's head was remade completely and limbs were extended. Currently the suit has been retired and disposed of due to being over worn and too old.

At Furry Weekend Atlanta 2009 Tac exhibited several dance performances including his first place winning performance at the 'Furries Got Talent' show.

Tac has also made an appearance on the Funday Pawpet Show as a subservient alongside Sly Phox.

At Anthrocon 2009 Tac made two more performances. One well received dance performance at the Furry Masquerade entitled The Evolution of Furry dance which included several music tracks held in high notoriety by the furry fandom. Tac also took part in the fursuit dance competition dancing to "Me Against The Music" by Britney Spears and Madonna.

At Furry Weekend Atlanta 2010 Tac achieved 2nd place in the dance contest performing a tango-esque dance (1st place went to Skroy). He also performed a skit with Sly Phox and Indi Jackal to the popular Weebl and Bob song, Amazing Horse.

Anthrocon 2010 Tac stunned the ballroom audience at the Masquerade by having his act as the finale. Tac presented The History of Dance Part II and received a standing ovation. Tac also danced a Tecktonik inspired performance in the fursuit dance competition.

Later in July, Tac returned to the Funday Pawpet Show on July 19th along with the debut of Zeke Husky.

Afterwards Tac was worn less frequently due to overuse. The fursuit made several more appearances in videos, but never public. As of September 2014 Mangusu announced the entire partial suit was retired and disposed of. He still maintains a novelty Twitter feed for the character.

MonsteRoo
MonsteRoo debuted at FWA 2011. Self constructed by Mangusu, this Kangaroo was a Energy Drink infused powerhouse of attitude. This SodaRoo was well known for the exaggerated raised eyebrow expression and rude demeanor. That character was inspired by the city of Atlanta and hip hop idols such as Missy Elliot.

His first entry to the FWA dance contest with MonsteRoo in 2012 earned him first place. At the same convention he performed a choreographed routine with Zell to a version "Let's Do it" and also placed first in the Talent show for this.
At Anthrocon 2011 he recorded a dance montage video on the convention center's roof featuring several fursuiters. Its success reached over 140K views and counting. Since then tradition of recording rooftop anthrocon dance videos has continued.

MonsteRoo can also be seen in the furry Harlem shake video and on an episode of the FundayPawpetShow.

The popularity of the fursuit lead to difficulties involving its character to be associated with its creator. Also with its design of heavy padding and low cut torso much dancing ability was inhibited. In the summer of 2013 Mangusu auctioned MonsteRoo which is now currently owned by Melhelmeh.

Commissioned by Phoenixwolf33, this suit represents Mangusu's royal mongoose fursona. It features a clever smirk and mechanical cog symbol on his back. Mangusu was received in September 2014 and has since created a multiple music videos and made numerous dance competition performances. The character's personality reflects his royal essence and struts with a glamorous form.

Other performances
In some cases Mangusu has performed in other suits due to lacking an available fursuit or requiring more mobility for his act.
*Apollo Husky Was worn for performances at FurDu2014 and a ribbon twirling dance at FurtherConfusion2013.

Relationship with Dash Tiger
Mangusu met Dash tiger in 2012 while attending Confuzzled as the GoH. After extensive meeting they decided to live each other to avoid a long distance relationship. The two commissioned their suits both from the Phoenix Nest and have a classic Tall and Short dynamic when collaborating on their Dash and Mangy in the Morning video series. This show stems off of a running joke in the comedy show, Community, and is a furry discussion and interview web series. The two officially married in America in 2015.

Real life
Other happenings in his life are recorded as he frequently uses Twitter and Fur Affinity to document his experiences.

Mangusu has been a world traveler of sorts, after meeting his partner he moved from Orlando, to London, to Brisbane, to Orlando, to Columbus, and currently in the UK now.

At FWA 2009 Tac exhibited several dance performances including his first place winning performance at the 'Furries Got Talent' show.

Tac has also made an appearance on the Funday Pawpet Show as a subservient alongside Slyphox.

At Furry Weekend Atlanta 2010 Tac achieved 2nd place in the dance contest performing a tango-esque dance. 1st place went to Skroy He also performed a skit with Slyphox and Indi Jackal to the popular Weebl and Bob song, Amazing Horse.

Anthrocon 2010 Tac stunned the ballroom audience at the Masquerade by having his act as the Finale. Tac presented The History of Dance Part II and recieved a standing ovation. Tac also danced a Tecktonik inspired performance in the fursuit dance competition. However, to many's surprise, Tac received no placement in the top three.

Later in July Tac returned to the Funday Pawpet Show on July 19th along with the Debut of Zeke Husky.

Afterwards Tac was worn less frequently due to over wear. The fursuit made several more appearances in videos but never public.

Juvin is a Malagasy ring-tailed mongoose and direct representation of Mangusu's fursona. Juvin is commonly depicted in Mangusu's comics as the lead character. Mangusu (born April 24th, 1989) is a fursuiter, fursuit maker, and furry artist who lives in Sanford, Florida, U.S.A. His fursona is a mongoose.

Mostly working in traditional media, Mangusu occasionally posts submissions to various art archives. Currently Mangusu is working on his own humorous comic strip entitled, "My Side of the Fandom." He has also constructed a few fursuits, including:
* Chopper, a reindeer from the anime series One Piece.
* Daxter, an ottsel from the video game series Jak and Daxter.
* Tac, a blue rockStar cat with soul-less eyes and amazing hair. Tac debuted at Furloween 2008 and is inspired by Gorillaz cartoon vocalist, 2D. When met with rock music, Tac often likes to incorporate his lengthy feline tail as a play guitar. This character is often considered to be a zombie fur.
At FWA 2009 Tac exhibited several dance performances including his first place winning performance at the 'Furries Got Talent' show.

Real life
In real life, Mangusu is a college student at Seminole Community College. He briefly organized a Furry Chat Room meetup on the website Stickam.com. Before being terminated, meetings were on Thursday nights from 7pm to 12am EST in the chat room titled 'The Fur Pile'.
Other happenings in his life are recorded as he frequently uses Live Journal to document his experiences.
Currently he earns an income as a sales associate at Universal Orlando's theme park resort.
