The '''eighteenth [[DoPE]] show''', performed at [[Eurofurence 24]], was titled '''"Juno Rising"'''.

== Plot summary ==
The plot given in the show's promotional flyer read:
{{q|'''"Not just when it's difficult, but especially when it's difficult" ~Lyra'''

Int the far future, Earth's resources are nearly depleted, while the population keeps increasing year after year. A conglomerate of the biggest companies, the Extraplanetary Resources Group, is reaching out to the solar system, in search for the new sources of precious metals and rare earth minerals. A million kilometres from home, the miners work tirelessly to satiate Earth's unwavering demand. But what does really happen out in the asteroid belt, far away from legislation and govermental control? A question that burns on freelance journalist Lyra Senicks's min, but the answer seems to be much harder to find then she had anticipated.}}

== Trivia ==
*The show featured a Blacklight Scene which was played with movable planes which was performed in front of the stage, which is quite unusual for Puppet-Theater.
*Since the [[DoPE_Show_13 | Pompeii Show]] there where no four-legged puppets used since they were consindered as too comlicated to play and would use too much (3) puppeteers. Ortha was manouvered by at least 4 Puppeteers and even 5 in the UV-Scene which makes her the most complicated puppet since. [[Tioh|Tioh]] who had the lead, over the building of Ortha, said that building that puppet was equaly the effort of making three fursuits since it features way more animatronics and unusual design-challenges.
*while a normal Puppet weighs between 500 and 2500 Grams (depending on the animatronics) Ortha weighs 15 Kilograms<ref>[https://twitter.com/Tiohkatrah/status/899212256164106240]Tweet from Tioh</ref> which made it necessary to have a puppeteer with a backpack-mount to carry her throughout the show.
* The Intro Show the Events that happenened before the Storyline of the Show, from the Colonisation of the World, The invention of planes, the war between Vanos and Graet Astar and the rebuilding after it. According to LunoWroo he imagined Great Astar as a mountainous country, because in the timeline the invention of flight took place before they where able to cross the oceans with ships.

DoPE

LunoWroo:

{{unref}}
'''DoPE''' (the '''Department of Pawpetry Entertainment'''), is the crew behind the [[pawpet]] show at [[Eurofurence]]. The show is also known as the '''LSD Show''', as it was originally set at [[Lionel C. Scruffycat|Lionel Scritchie's]] Dormitory. Despite the drug-refering puns of the acronyms, the only drugs involved in making the show are pure and utter nonsense along with a great love for puppetry.

== History ==

The initiative for the show came from [[Fairlight]], who took his lion pawpet to [[ConFurence 11]] and met [[TeddyRuxpin]] of [[PawPets West]], who was organizing the pawpet events at the convention. Fairlight immediately became addicted to puppeteering and organized a short music parody show for [[Eurofurence_6|Eurofurence 6]]. Additional puppeteers on that show were [[Lynard]], [[Eisfuchs]] and [[Jaryic]]. The LSD Show became one of the main events of the following Eurofurences.

Since [[Eurofurence_8|Eurofurence 8]] the stories have been written by [[Cheetah_(musician)|Cheetah]] and [[Eisfuchs]]. Cheetah is also the director and sound effect creator of the show.

The following 10 years after the initial parody show, the main pawpeteers and their roles were:

* Eisfuchs (performer and voice of [[Lori]] the naïve [[vixen]])
* Fairlight (performer and voice of [[Poke]] the big-mouthed and perverted [[ferret]])
* Lynard (voice and performer of [[Lionel C. Scruffycat]] the rational [[Lion (species)|lion]])
* [[TaniDaReal]] (voice and performer of [[Mika]] the tough [[Snow Leopard]]ess) (joined at [[Eurofurence_9|Eurofurence 9]]).

Starting with [[Eurofurence_17|Eurofurence 17]], the team decided that the larger stage and audience demanded a change of the show format. The classic hand puppets were retired and new, custom built rod puppets were designed and used in the following shows, which were operated by at least two pawpeteers per puppet. This also meant to part with the old cast of characters in favor of story driven characters on a per-show basis.

Additional long-time puppeteers and stage-hands are [[FinFarenath]], [[o'wolf]], [[Tigerseye]], [[Xan]] and [[Zefiro]] and many more, listed on the respective show sub pages below. Backdrops have been designed by [[TaniDaReal]]. Props, additional puppets and various set elements usually get designed and built by various crew members. The puppet stage manager and assistent director is [[Reesa]] who was joined by Zefiro in the later years. Sound and pre-recordings engineer is [[Jaryic]], lights initially were operated and designed by [[Richard Nightfox|Nightfox]], which changed several times in the later years. The crew also includes the [[Eurofurence]] video documentary staff under direction of [[BigBlueFox]] and additional helpers for scene-shifting, curtain operation and lighting. The show at [[Eurofurence_11|Eurofurence 11]] had more than 20 people on staff. In the meantime this number rose to roundabout 30.

Among the special guests on the LSD Show were [[Lisanne Norman]], [[Chairo]], [[Uncle Kage]] and [[Heather Alexander]].

== Plot summary ==
The plot given in the show's promotional flyer read:
{{q|'''"So many precious lives lost every day, it's a tragedy." ~Greenfield'''

A struggle for power always leaves its mark, and the result might not be stable enough to bring strength for everyone. The smallest of things can tip the balance, suddenly making the fate of the people unclear. Trapped in the shadow of his glorified father, Raindancer seeks for knowledge and truth until he meets Potami, a new student, at the Institute. Nothing in his books could prepare him when they find themselves stumbling into a web of deception, intrigue and blind revenge.}}

== Trivia ==
*since the DoPE Show 15 [[DoPE_Show_15|"Keepers of the Light"]] went a bit chaotic for everyone, the team made a break in 2015 and went for a better organised show in 2016. This included a new organisation-system and some changes in the production- process, like using the software "KanBan" and dividing the onsite rehearsal into a technical-rehearsal and a dress- rehearsal.

== Plot summary ==
The plot given in the show's promotional flyer read:
{{q|'''In a world of darkness, are you fit enough to carry the flame of truth?'''

To be a healer means to help and protect those in need; a duty that Riversong readily takes on when he meets the white vixen Frostwind, who is plagued by the creatures of the night and the darkness within herself. A chance encounter that changes his world forever - a world built on tradition, belief and trust in the knowledge of their leaders, about to be shaken to its very core. Never again will the people of Ferndale look upon the Holy Mountain with the same eyes.}}

== Instructions ==
If you would like to be removed from the list of fursuit makers open for commissions:
# Update the web page that is listed beside your name to say that you are no longer taking commissions or take down the page.
# Edit this page to remove your name. If you remove your name from this list but leaving an external page offering commissions, people might wonder if a competitor is removing you.

If you would like to be added to the list of fursuit makers open for commissions:
# Create a profile page on WikiFur if one does not exist already.
# Add <nowiki>[[Category:Fursuit makers]]</nowiki> or <nowiki>[[Category:Fursuit studios]]</nowiki>to the bottom of that page if it isn't there already.
# Make sure there is an external web page that can be linked to that shows that you are open for commissions. Even a LiveJournal, etc. post should be good enough.
# Add a link to your WikiFur profile and external page like the entries above.

The '''sixteenth [[DoPE]] show''', performed at [[Eurofurence 22]], was titled '''"Goldeneyes"'''.

== Plot summary ==
The plot given in the show's promotional flyer read:
{{q|'''"So many precious lives lost every day, it's a tragedy." ~Greenfield'''

A struggle for power always leaves its mark, and the result might not be stable enough to bring strength for everyone. The smallest of things can tip the balance, suddenly making the fate of the people unclear. Trapped in the shadow of his glorified father, Raindancer seeks for knowledge and truth until he meets Potami, a new student, at the Institute. Nothing in his books could prepare him when they find themselves stumbling into a web of deception, intrigue and blind revenge.}}

== Trivia ==
*since the DoPE Show 15 [[DoPE_Show_15|"Keepers of the Light"]] went a bit chaotic for everyone, the Pawpet Show made a break in 2015 and went for a better organised Show in 2016. This included a new organisation-system and some changes in the production- process, like using the software "KanBan" and dividing the Onsite Rehearsal into a technical-Rehearsal and a Dress- Rehearsal
