FOUSE Radio is an Internet radio station based in Second Life owned and operated solely by Logansryche and his company Logansryche LLC.

History
During the first week of July 2010 Oldesoul and Cassie Eldemar helped form RFL of IW for the virtual world InWorldz. They needed a radio stream and Logan stepped up with the help of Sounds Turner of Dreamstreams and Logans ex-wife Shade Huntress. July 2nd is recognised as the official start date of FOUSE Radio, even though Oldesoul and Cassie were doing RFL in InWorldz before this time. After InWorldz closed in 2018 FOUSE went on hiatus, then was passed over to Shadow LeRawr of Paw Print Radio/Furry Broadcasting. Logan and Shade divorced shortly after this but the decision was not because of this.

Revival
During a conversation on June 2, 2025 with the new owner of All Fur Radio, Logan decided to revive FOUSE Radio since Paw Print Radio/Furry Broadcasting has become defunct, nulling any verbal agreements that were made at the time. Instead of a variable live station as it was before, it is now an uncut 80s AutoDJ station(wich may change as more pay attention to it) with the occasional interlude of an elderly man saying you're listening to FOUSE Radio.

FOUSE Station
Along with the revival of the station, Logan has set up a space station on Zeta Valley, calling it FOUSE Station. The station will be a place to hang out, view his art, and interact with others plus provide space for the radio station.

Logansryche is the writer/artist of the webcomic Logan's Untitled Adventures. He's also a Cross Fox in the Furry Community,
Caretaker to most of Panda Jenn's Projects(her site/comic/SL pad/etc..), FurNation Reborn, FOUSE Radio, the Community Memorial Center on Zeta Valley, and other SL projects. Logan is a Milfur having briefly served in the US Navy for 9/11, and is very much active in Second Life under the name Laufiair Hexicola.
<div>__TOC__</div>

History
Logansryche was born Matthew Leo Vacanti 10/14/1982 in Twentynine Palms, CA to a retired Marine father and school secretary mother. On a whim he saw the 1973 Disney animated film Robin Hood (which he instantly fell in love with) when it was shown as a re-release in 1988 at the local drive-in. Back then Logan didn't know there was a following let alone a persona for such things, so he kept it to himself for the next 20+ years. Logan is also a MilFur having served time in the Navy during the hunt for Bin-Laden. In 2008 Logan came out to his parents and told them that he was a fur and explained to them what it meant to be a fur. They said they understood and that's where that matter's stood since then. In 2013 Logan re-evaluated himself and determined himself to be an Arctic Fox. He evaluated himself again in 2020 and determined himself to be a Cross Fox(where he's been since). In 2017 Logan discovered there was a YouTuber named Rycon and didn't want to cause confusion, so he changed his name to Logan (which was short for Logansryche anyway, only to discover the YouTuber's real name is Logan). In 2018 Logan and his longtime partner of eight years divorced over personal matters. Logan's real world background includes construction, janitorial/maintenance, scraping (where he lost his sense of smell), database processing, computer repair, drawing, AVA'ing, flash production, webmastering, and recently medical transportation.

Military Service
Logan graduated High School with a diploma in 2002 and had interests in joining the Coast Guard to continue his study of Meteorology but was told that such a title didn't exist past Radar Technician, so after speaking with a Navy recruiter, his interests changed to wanting to be an Electronics Technician, which would have more aligned with a growing interest in both computers and electronics. Apon entering Great Lakes Naval Training Academy, Logan came down sick with a rare case of the flu and the more medicine they threw at it, the worse it got, so the Navy discharged him under Medial Honorable. This was enough to not only consider Logan a Veteran of the US Navy, but also be awarded the National Defense Ribbon/Medal for serving during a war-time event(9/11). To this day the experience troubles him as he doesn't feel he did enough to be considered a Veteran and when someone thanks him for his service it's awkward for the same reason.

Virtually Speaking
Since Logan was never able to afford to purchase a fursuit, he went virtual thanks to the help of his then voice actor friend Mobius Infinity. In 2005 Mobius introduced Logan to a virtual world called Second Life. They were still in beta and weren't accepting new accounts so he waited a year and created one. Because Fox avatars hadn't really existed yet, Logan's first avatar was an Aventity Husky. Later in 2008 after a fallout with Aventity over a sale, Mobius told Logan about a company called KZK that had just released a Fox avatar. Logan retired the KZK Fox in 2025 as he now dons a TWI Cross Fox feral.

Radio Work
Both Logan and his father have always been fascinated with using radio as a medium, and while Logan's father took the more local approach(did a radio play for WIT of One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest as an Orderly), Logan started FOUSE Radio with his then partner Sage in 2010. This lasted until their divorce in 2018 and has been restored as of 6/2/2025. FOUSE Radio was originally set up to be the official radio stream for RFL of IW as a variable stream with DJs picking up the stream along with AutoDJ for when no one was using it. Apon it's restoration, it is now set up as full AutoDJ playing Hard-Rock/Metal, being based solely out of Zeta Valley Second Life.

VRChat Work
At one time Logan use to dabble in creating content for VRChat(even gave it a second chance after the IronSource merger) but has not returned since 2024 after he and his partner Tessa split(VRChat was their place to explore and play golf in since they were one state away from each other irl).

Logans Untitled Adventures
Currently in it's 2nd version with over 100 pages, LUA is a twice-weekly webcomic that was started at the end of 2018, at the end of Logan's divorce, and follows a human named Logan that's been bitten by a rabid Fennec and goes to Japan for treatment. The comic bounces between Comedy and Seriousness, not sticking to any one theme or style. It's been hosted on ComicFury since 2019.

FurNation Reborn
In March 2020 Logan was talking with fellow artist PandaJenn about the fandom's history and FurNation came up, which lead to a domain purchased, where it's resided ever since, rebranded as FurNation Reborn. The site operates as the art archive it use to be, accepting new submissions, while hosting previous ones. The site is hosted on InterServer. The FurNation domain has become active recently but has not impacted FNR in any way.

The Fur Valleys
At one time the valleys were it was at if you were a virtual fur and this lasted until roughly 2017 with the death of Foxkin Impfondo. Kitsune Sea was the first place Logan and Mobius had land and then much later on in the early 2000s the valleys played host to RFL for two years. Over the years they started to form a checker board pattern as regions moved away and Foxkin started to shut others down. This sparked an idea in Logan around 2014/2015 to find a way to bring the regions back online to show they were still here for the Furry Community.

He's also an Arctic Fox that changes white in the winter and orange/black in the summer, the webmaster of PandaJenn Productions, their Discord server, and FurNation Reborn.

In 2008 Logan came out to his parents and told them that he was a fur, and explained to them what it meant to be a fur. They said they understood and that's where that matter's stood since then. In 2013 Logan re-evaluated himself in what it meant to carry the Fox fursona and could see where the lines started to blend between the Arctic Fox and Siberian Husky (loves the cold, despises humidity, etc..), and actively attempts to stay on the foxy side of things. In 2017 Logan discovered there was a YouTuber named Rycon and didn't want to cause confusion so he changed his name to Logan (which was short for Logansryche anyway, only to discover the YouTuber's real name's Logan). Logan and his longtime partner of eight years divorced over personal matters. Logan's real world background includes construction, janitorial/maintenance, scraping (where he lost his sense of smell), database processing, computer repair, drawing, image editing, flash production, website creation and work as a web master.

Because Fox avatars hadn't existed yet(Wingless avis didn't come out till about 2008ish) Logan's first avatar was an Aventity Husky. Later in 2008 after a fallout with Aventity over a sale, Mobius told Logan about a company called KZK that had released a Fox avatar. He continues to wear this version of the KZK fox(they've since made an all mesh version).

Radio Work
Both Logan and his father have always been fascinated with using radio as a medium, and while Logan's father took the more local approach, Logan started FOUSE Radio with his then partner Sage in 2010. This lasted until 2016 with a disagreement in politics with the stream hoster, which lead to the creation of Aristide Radio. The station went on hiatus in 2017, was back by 7/5/2019, and was offline again by 9/1/2019.

VRChat Work
After the fallout of OpenSim and not wanting to go back to Second Life full-time, Logan discovered a place furs were starting to take notice of: VRChat. All the premise of Second Life without the cost. The only caveat was learning how to build and script in Unity. After Unity merged with Ironsource, Logan doesn't build in Unity anymore, but does travel VRChat with his partner Tessa.

Logans Untitled Adventures
Currently in it's 4th version with 90+ pages, LUA is a weekly webcomic that was started in 2018 at the end of Logan's divorce and follows a human named Logan that's been bitten by a rabid Fennec and goes to Japan for treatment. The comic bounces between Comedy and Seriousness, not sticking to any one theme or style. The comic has been on hiatus since 4/2022.

The site is hosted on Amazon EC2 services.

FurNation was a website specializing in furry social networking, and content sharing. On 8 December 2009, the site was shut down by its owner, Nexxus. The site was reborn as a Ning-hosted community on 23 December under the control of Reyedog. Hosted sites were restored at the start of February 2010. As of June 2010 it had over 7000 registered members.

As of late November 2010, it served a self-hosted furry social network containing galleries, music and video upload, forums, and chat. On December 10, 2015, SYSTEM updated the www.furnation.com domain to a page explaining why it was now too cost-prohibitive to relaunch the site. (for more see History section)

On 2016 January 10, FurNation launched a crowd-funding at GoFundMe.

As of May 2016, FurNation was back online, but once again shut down in 2017.

As of Mar 2020, FurNation was back online as FurNation Reborn, hosting art only.

FurNation operated FurPlanet, a small adult-oriented comic publishing unit/online store, producing titles such as Magazine until FurPlanet was purchased by FuzzWolf in March 2008.

Services
FurNation is a major establishment in the online furry community, providing a centralized location in which to find a variety of furry related content. In that time FurNation had gained not only a name for being a major player in furry information, art, and stories, but also a reputation for its periodic downtime. Some of these times have been relatively short, while others have been quite a bit longer. Because of this, many who maintained web space on FurNation also have another website.

Second Life and Furnation
Worlds was ran by Corsi Mousehold from December of 2009, till May of 2013. At it's largest point, there were fourteen sims, FurNation Alpha, Dragon, Dystopia, Fusion, Gryphon, Hell, Heroes, Noosphere Prime, Phoenix, Polaris, Prime, Purgatory, Vista, and Zagerion Forest.

As of June 1, 2013, FurNation in Second Life was reopened and new management (directed by Inferniel Solvang) took over the project. FurNation Prime is back online and previous management was let go. New management was installed using the new FurNation Administration group, and includes some of the staff from the Social Network side of FurNation.

Game server
As of 2011, FurNation has a Minecraft server at minecraft.furnation.com<br />

In April 2012, the Minecraft server was shut down.

2015 closure
On December 10, 2015, SYSTEM updated www.furnation.com into a webpage explaining why it was now too cost-prohibitive to relaunch the site after a major DDoS attack in August of the same year, followed by the message (this is the last few paragraphs):

"It is time, after 20 years, for FurNation to close shop. There are MANY other furry based websites out there, and some of them are really impressive (hear that furrynetwork.com). I will refund all the donations we have received since we started taking them again a few months ago when I transfer the funds back into my primary account. I will simply do a return charge on all of them.

I have locked the FurNation.com domain name (and some other derivatives of that name that I own) into escrow for 20 years. After that the names will be free for someone else to use. The present temporary server will be online till the end of this month to host this page then I shall move this page to a free hosting provider so it can remain for other to read in the future.

RIP FurNation. I hope you will be missed and remembered fondly for all the friends you have brought together over the years. FurNation was one of the first furry based sites on the web, but it will not be the last.

FurNation – November 1996 to November 2015

Sincerely,

SYSTEM"

In 2016, the site reopened temporarily. Due to loss of several users after the 2015 DDOS attack, the Site Administrator SYSTEM has anounced and Excecuted Furnation's official shut-down in Febuary 2017.

In 2020 artists Logansryche and PandaJenn brought FurNation back online as FurNation Reborn as the art archive it use to be. The site remains at it's domain furnationreborn.com

The Fur Valleys (often known as "The Valleys") are a group of island simulations (also known as "regions" or inaccurately as "sims") within Second Life. The Valleys in Second Life are located in the southwestern area of the grid.

__TOC__
History
The first region in this chain, Fox Valley, was created as a private island in November 2005 by Costello in order to form a furry area apart from Dreamland, due to a difference of opinions between RedFox and Anshe Chung. In 2006, Kithylin Perth ordered 2 sims(Wolf Valley & Tiger Valley) which were attached to Fox Valley, creating the heart of the Valley continent. Wolf Valley was sold to Mako Minogue in June of 2006(It continues to be primarily a residential region featuring a beach hangout, an art gallery and Bunny Brewster's "Bunnythedral", which is one of the oldest builds in the entire continent), Tiger Valley was sold to Foxkin Impfondo, and Fox Valley remained with Redfox

At the height of its creation, the Fur Valleys contained 44 regions furs could explore and enjoy. In 2009, Jack Linden increased region prices, eliminated the Non-Profit break, and had all void sims converted over to either homesteads or open spaces. This led to a checkerboard pattern as the change forced several regions to go offline, and in some cases created islands stranded out in the middle of nowhere. Region prices have since been reduced. As of 3/10/2017 all regions owned by Foxkin have been taken offline due to his death in February 2017.

Continents
Around 2019 the valleys started to resemble two continents consisting of Redfox's Fox Valleys to the south, and what was left of the original valley sims to the north. Sometime in the middle of 2019, Serenity Woods moved away and joined the FOX regions. Around this time six regions showed up to form a middle continent. These regions do not have Valley attatched to them. They are: Evershift, Monster, ZigZag, Rapter Isle, and Cheetopia. Evershift is a roleplay region and Rapter Isle is a sandbox. Monster mysteriously went offline and has remained so as of 12/2020. Around March 2020 Vixen Valley showed up at the end of Fox Valley Forest and is owned by Redfox Costello.

Fur Valleys

As of 2019 the valleys have been split into two small continents, with a third continent appearing in 2021.

The Future
On September 1,2018 longtime valley resident Rycon/Logan Bamaisin started tribute by bringing all 42 valley regions online on the opensource platform OsGrid OpenSim. On June 1, 2019 Logan and fellow fur Jeeper Shim came together to create OsGrid's first ever furry continent. The project will be shown off at OSG12 and is aimed at drawing out any/all virtual furs, nekos, and otherkin to create a community for all. This is interpreted as continuing what the valleys started for Second Life.

Logansryche (also known as Rycon/Logan Bamaisin is an artist known for his webcomic Logan's Untitled Adventures. In the Furry Community he's a two-tone Arctic Fox(orange in the summer, white in the winter).

History
Logansryche was born Matthew Leo Vacanti 10/14/1982 in La Marada, California, growing up in Twentynine Palms, California, currently residing in Jamestown, Tennessee. Logan was introduced to the fandom in 1985 with a VHS copy of Disney's Robin Hood. Logan's always been a fox, teetering on being a South Georgian Red Fox or the common Arctic Fox, so he blended the two as Logan loves the woods but also loves the snow/cold temps.

Art
Logan's style doesn't conform to any known norm and is known to be all over the place, but cites several influences such as Steve Gallacci, Panda_Jenn, Andrés Barra, and others.

Logans Untitled Adventures
At the end of 2018 Logan's then marriage had completed divorce and on a whim, started sketching again. At the suggestion of his then therapist, Logan started to put more emphasis into what he was drawing. For Christmas that year, he received a Wacom from his parents and his drawing really took off(the difference was literally night and day). The first version of the comic came out of this and lasted for 17 panels while trying to nail a format. Version two lasted 82 pages, version three lasted 21 pages, and currently version four(the current version) has lasted for 90+ pages(95 as of 4/10/2021). The overall tone is mixed with comedy, sarcasm, and seriousness, with the storyline drawn out.

Second Life
At the time Logan was attempting to get an animation studio up and going when fellow voice actor Mobius Infinity asked him to come check out a place called Second Life. That was in 2006 and he's stayed ever since. Logan operates the accounts Laufiair Hexicola, Rycon Resident, and HenryDeacon Resident with his original account Rycon Bamaisin being permabanned over being hacked by Russia in 2009(and continues to plead for this accounts release). Logan's main account is Laufiair Hexicola and uses a KZK v1 Red Fox on that account. His secondary account is Rycon Resident which uses a DND Red Fox female(this account also shifts species/genders).

The Workshop
After noticing several furs frequenting VRChat, Logan decided to try it out for himself and decided to stay(his fox is made by Cloud). 4/1/2021 the workshop came online and currently hosts VRChat's only fandom memorial center. There are lots of things he wants to put into the workshop but time is the enemy of all; this includes a more complete build of Cherryton Academy, a usable library, a media room, and a complete build of Black Mesa.

Projects
Always the ideas fur, Logan's dabbled in a lot of internet-related medias over the years including Voice Acting, Directing, Voice Coaching, BitCoining, YouTubing, Livestreaming, and DJing/Radio work.

Logansryche:

Greenreaper wrote, They've dropped the whole idea of AnthroNation, it seems. Can anyone improve this article? I don't know much about the site . . .

Unofficially, it seems like the FurNation team has all but halted work on the site to focus on Second Life. Nexxus and Ratchett can be found there seemingly 24/7. Thier priorities seemed to change in the past year with FurNation's stance going from web hosting site to just being a 3D chat world in Second Life. It's been pretty visible within the community in the past.

Changes and tweaks to the FurNation Worlds Second Life areas seems to come almost daily while maintenance and support for the site take months (if not years) to complete, if at all. At AnthroCon 2005, the FurNation table showed this reflection as well, with FurNation's table hosting live demos of Second Life... and deterring their focus from selling wares, promiting the site and artists.

The site has gained something of a reputation in the past few years for being incredibly unresponsive to requests of support, taking months to response to single inquiries (the lack sheer lack of support has been one of the reasons people have been migrating to Furtopia and other alternatives). --Preyfar 11:08, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

:I've been hearing about this off and on for a while, now. I predict an eventual catastrophic failure of the FurNation server (probably an inability to pay bandwidth fees); followed by Nexxus either dropping Second Life entirely to fix it, or lots of promises and then a limping return, or even no return at all. Considering how obsessed he appears to be, I don't think there's much chance of him taking a moderate approach. Back up your archives regularly, folks; you might not get a chance to retrieve them. -- Siege 11:44, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

I just want to add a little note about FurNation. This is a free service. You can dislike it, you can enjoy it, you can complain because it is not professionnal or complain because it is too cheap. Just remember one thing when you do this: It is free. If you don't like FurNation, best way to react is to seek for something more to your tastes. (same goes with a lots of Furry services) --Ozone Griffox 14:55, 17 February 2006 (UTC)
:Actually the same goes for ANY service. Furry is not unique or special in this regard.--Duncan da Husky 15:34, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

:Somewhat ironically, just last night I started advertising on the "FurNation" keyword on that basis, along with a few keywords (right now the link just goes to the main page, so don't bother clicking it unless you like giving Google more of my money than necessary ;-). It's not the best of ads - if anyone can think up some better wording, I'd be interested in hearing it. --GreenReaper 16:36, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

::Hmm, that seems a bit adversarial, which doesn't really seem warranted given that we're completely different sites. Maybe something like, "Find out about furries from A to Z at WikiFur, The Furry Encyclopedia!" would be better? Huh, looks like there's not a lot furry-related that comes up with a search for "furry". Hey Giza, did you drop the "furry" AdWord for Anthrocon? What were the clickthroughs like? --Duncan da Husky 16:53, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

:::Ideally it would mention FurNation in some way as that relates to whether or not the ad actually shows up (or rather how much has to be paid to get it to show up :-). I'll try poking at it a bit later.

:::Clickthrough rates are also fairly low if you're just using a keyword for the topic rather than the actually targetting content at it. I don't know for sure yet, but I'm betting that people are far more likely to click through the ad I placed for Anthrocon than they are for the ad I placed for yiff/yiffing/yiffstar/yiffy (55 clicks, 5,492 impressions, 1.0% clickthrough, $0.09/click, $4.84 spent), because it's actually got content relevant to the topic.

:::Generic keywords aren't the best. "Furry" costs a lot of money. The minimum I could get for it to even show up for search is $0.30/click, and you'd get about 120 clicks a day, so it would cost $36.00 a day. And the reason you'd get a lot of clicks is that people not interested in furry fandom would be clicking, so you'd be wasting at least half of that, probably more.

:::Actually, generic ads aren't much better. I'd recommend that if Anthrocon continues its ad campaign that it should use more specific ad text - right now it's got one message for all keywords, which isn't likely to work as well as targetted ad text for each keyword. See above comment re: yiffing. --GreenReaper 17:32, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

:Doesn't bother me either way. A lot of people rely on it to store their art for them, as they would any archive they go to. What happened to FurNation's fundraising efforts? Did the magazine vanish? Did people stop contributing to it? No... Second Life has taken over efforts to fund the original service, as Preyfar describes, above. Free or not, it shouldn't take months for a server admin to respond to administrative requests, even if it's just "Hi, kind of busy, it'll take me a while to do that for you." -- Siege 16:59, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

::Well, as admin and community leader for FurAffinity, I still believe that is our duty as sites to provide top level service, whether or not we charge. The moment we made ourselves a community site we took the responsibility to provide said community with the best level of service we can provide, and failure to do so everyone involved on a whole. The service of our site, like FurNation, affects the fandom, people, attitudes.

::It's like raising a child. Not everybody wants to raise a child, but they have the responsibility to raise the child as well as they can, because the actions of that child can be far reaching in other facets of life. People content at the service will be happy, people upset may take their anger out on it elsewhere. That's both my perosnal and professional stance as a community member and community leader.--Preyfar 17:41, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

As a FurNation representative I'd like to respond to a couple of the accusations being made here.

1. The magazine is not dead and still serves as a source of funding to pay the hosting costs of the FurNation server. The latest issue made its debut at AnthroCon this month and is now available to purchase at the FurPlanet website. Issue #8 is scheduled for release at 2007's Further Confusion.

2. Its hard to run a website, publishing business and Second Life community by yourself or with only one other person to assist you. Other websites that are only a website and nothing else have multiple people to admin the site so I'd expect that occasionally a request for assistance would fall through the cracks with only Nexxus and Rackett being there to handle things. To assist with that problem, Nexxus has begun to increase FurNation's staff so that support for web clients will be returned much quicker. I'm assisting in adding new websites and handling password requests, etc as well as lining up material for future issues of FurNation Magazine.

3. Having found a good staff of admins to handle FurNation Worlds on Second Life, Nexxus is stepping back a bit from SL in order to put more time into updating the web server and publishing comics. Also, its not hard for him to seem to be on SL 24/7 when he has 3 monitors and 2 computers with a switch to go between them. He can be on SL to respond to IMs there and work on laying out a magazine or running a server diagnostic at the same time.

4. Nexxus would be the first to admit that the FurNation main page needs a makeover. It is receiving that makeover now and should hopefully be online in the near future.

On a personal note, I'd like to say that no one at FurNation has gone out of their way to attack or defame any other site or admin. Yet, I've seen the esteemed admin of Fur Affinity attacking FurNation on here, LiveJournal and elsewhere. The FurNation staff are not looking for a competition with any other art hosting site, but I feel like we're being attacked here. I can't think of any furry sites off hand that have not had a problem with occasional downtime during their years of service. FurNation has been online over 10 years now. Look to your own site first before attacking another for having downtime issues.

:I get the same error, so it's not just you. This isn't anywhere near my field of expertise, but when I did some Googling it appears that the likely culprit is a misconfigured Microsoft IIS server.----DuncanDaHusky(talk) 11:15, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

Possible closure
I removed the PayPal donation link from the "possible closure" material I added as I wasn't sure it was appropriate to leave it in. If it's okay and someone wants to restore it, the link is https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_donations&business=accounts%40nexxusomnimedia%2ecom&item_name=FurNation%20Web%20Service&no_shipping=0&no_note=1&tax=0&currency_code=USD&lc=US&bn=PP%2dDonationsBF&charset=UTF%2d8 (apologies to anyone else using Chrome, as this seems to screw up the page width). I figured it probably wasn't appropriate to leave in as the intent is to chronicle, not solicit by proxy. --Silvermink 16:07, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

Spinoff vs. conversion
:Moved from the article, posted by 71.164.217.54. --GreenReaper(talk) 01:37, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
WEBMASTER NOTE: AnthroNation was a planned spinoff, not a replacement for FurNation.

Revival
Started a revival project 12/2019 named FurNationReborn(FNR) that aims at restoring what FurNation originally was: an art site that provided hosting. Nothing more, nothing less. Several attempts to reach out to Nexxus on the matter have been futile, even went so far as asking Marcus from AFR to buzz him to no avail. He's either not online anymore or doesn't care about FurNation in its entirety(I'm told the regions in SL are slowly sinking). I've also corrected most if all of the original hardware/software/staff problems that plagued FN and even have proper artist image protection that isn't javascript. Do I feel I have the brass to pull this off? Yep and I'm not alone. --Logansryche 06:01, 19 February 2020 (UTC)

Logansryche is an artist, gamer, YouTuber, Radio Personality, Chat Mod, and Webmaster. In the Furry community he's an Arctic Fox(changes white in winter, orange/brown in the summer). He's also the Co-Owner of Aristide Radio(with his friend Grim) and webmaster of Simply_Panda_Jenn.
<div>__TOC__</div>

History
Logansryche was born Matthew Leo Vacanti 10/14/1982 in Twentynine Palms, CA to a retired marine father and school secretary mother. On a whim he saw the 1973 Disney movie Robin Hood(which he instantly fell in love with) when it was shown as a re-release in 1988 at the local drive-in. Back then Logan didn't know there was a following let alone a persona for such things, so he kept it to himself for the next 20+ years. In 2008 Logan came out to his parents and told them that he was a fur, and explained to them what it meant to be a fur. They said they understood and that's where that matter's stood since then. In 2013 Logan re-evaluated himself in what it meant to carry the Fox fursona and could see where the lines started to blend between the Arctic Fox and Siberian Husky(loves the cold, despises humidity, etc..), and actively attempts to stay on the foxy side of things. In 2017 Logan discovered there was a YouTuber named Rycon and didn't want to cause confusion so he changed his name to Logan(which was short for Logansryche anyway, only to discover the YouTuber's real name's Logan). Logan and his longtime partner of eight years divorced over personal matters. Logan's real world background includes construction, janitorial/maintenance, scraping(where he lost his sense of smell), database processing, computer repair, drawing, image editing, flash production, website creation/webmastering, forum moderation/adminship, wiki stuff, server maintenance, voice over work, youtubing, Minecraft server ownership/adminship, chat moderating, and livestreaming.

This avatar was worn until 2018 when he changed to a JOMO fox using bento mesh, and as of 8/1/2019 dons a fox kemono avatar.

Radio Work
Both Logan and his father have always been fascinated with using radio as a medium, and while Logan's father took the more local approach, Logan started FOUSE Radio with his then partner Sage in 2010. This lasted until 2016 with a disagreement in politics with the stream hoster, which lead to the creation of Aristide Radio. The station went on hiatus in 2017, was back by 7/5/2019, and was offline again by 9/1/2019.

Logan's Untitled Adventures (aka LUA) is a webcomic by Logansryche about a human adventurer who's bitten by a rabid Fennec with a ware gene while hiking in Utah, and flys himself to Japan where the University of Tokyo reportedly 'cured' someone in a similar situation. The comic emplores several styles, cultural refrences, and events. The style is somewhere between Steve Gallacci and Disney. While the comic has a MA rating not all situations(or Adventures) are MA, however some do hit the fine lines between PG/MA/NC17. As of 1/10/2020 the comic updates 3-5 pages every Monday.

*Jake Organa is a Neko, and Logan/Sara's roommate. His personality is loosely based off of Twitch streamer JuzyGaming.

FurRing is both the internet's and fandom's oldest and most active webring(hosting more then 200 sites at it's height - almost all of which are no defunct)cn. The ring was started in 1996 by Mark Freid and lasted until 1999, after which Yahoo purchased WebRing.org to integrate it into their system, failed, and abandoned itcn. Mark's site went offline in 2001 when he left the fandom. The site was passed on to Captain Packrat who attempted to keep the ring going from 1999-2002, but now serves as an archive of it's former self. Feeling nostalgic, Logansryche took it apon himself in 2019 to revive the ring to a fully functional underground webring for the fandom.

Mark Freid's Version
Mark's website for FurRing consisted of black background with teal writing, listing the rules and proceedures for joining. The ring itself relied heavily on WebRing.org's code and used a ID system to determine who was who. This lasted until 1999 when Mark closed the site and left the fandom.

Capt PackRat's Version
Capt PackRat's version of the site was an exact mirror of Mark's site, with the change of copyright. This version also relied heavily on WebRing.org's ID system to determine who was who. This lasted until 2002 when the site no longer was updated, but is still online.

Logansryche's Version
Logan's version of the site uses Netlify.com along with github integration to use a fork of Mark Boek's webring code to create a self-contained webring enviroment that's easy to use. As of 9/5/2019 there are a total of 6 sites on the ring, however this version of FurRing has only been around since 9/1/2019.

Future of FurRing
The goal of reincarnating FurRing was to have a place underground just for furs. Webrings were super popular then because search engines made it just as difficult then as it does now to index websites. The future is always uncertain however FurRing has become a pet project for Logan, so it'll become relevant in the fandom again for as long as he wishes it to.

Logansryche: major update, will update with more sites later

Panda Jenn is an artist known for her webcomic Simply Panda Jenn. In the Furry Community she's a Panda.

<div>__TOC__</div>

History
Panda Jenn was born Jennifer Carnivele 10/5/1981 in Riverside, California, growing up/resides in Hemet, California. She was introduced to the fandom in 1998.

Art
Jenn's style employs cute Disney/Don Bluth-like character designs such as 1990s television programs TaleSpin and Animaniacs. She was briefly the artist for The World of Vicki Fox, but now draws artwork of them. Jenn started a webcomic in 2004 named Simply Panda Jenn which lasted until 2013 before taking a hiatus, returning in 2011 briefly before going on hiatus again, and returning a final time in 2019 with the push of her community.

Second Life
At one time Panda Jenn had dipped her toes into the virtual pool to see how it would be, but that didn't last. Armed with a new account, Jenn plans to keep this one around. Her avatar's a female kemono panda, matching 99.99% to her fursona.

Simply Panda Jenn is a biweekly webcomic written by Ross Snyder and Illustrated by Jennifer Carnivele.

History
The comic was originally hosted on http://pandajenn.com from 2004-2013 before going on hiatus due to personal matters. In 2019 on a whim, Logan Bamaisin reached out to Jennifer about what had happened to the comic and if there was anything he could do to help. This lead to the comic coming back online being hosted on Comic Fury. The site was originally coded with Comicpress on Wordpress and needed to be recoded to remove any/all proprietary code left over by The Wayback Machine, Comicpress, or Wordpress.

Premise
Welcome to Winchester, California, a small town and home to the lovely Mrs. Panda Jenn and her cast. Simply Panda Jenn is a situation themed comedy which centers around the everyday lives of these characters and their many misadventures.

Characters
* Panda Jenn A panda and the main protagonist of the comic. Jenn has a strong sense of responsibility, usually to the point of constant worry. She is sometimes perceived as being a little neurotic. In many instances, she takes it upon herself to be the voice of reason. In the rare moments she gets any down time, she enjoys relaxing hobbies like drawing and gardening. She hopes one day to publish her own comic, if she can ever come up with a decent idea for one.

* Cody A polar bear, Cody has been Jenn’s best friend since childhood. He is the second oldest of 4 siblings. Though he’s in his twenties he still behaves like a teenager. He often acts on impulse without realizing the consequences of his actions. His favorite pastime is spending hours on end playing his video games.

* Bridgette A Rabbit, Bridget is a nineteen year old college student. She has an incredibly outgoing and bubbly personality which some people might find a little frightening. She views the world with such childlike innocence which allows her to remain optimistic even in the most hopeless of situations. Because of such a trait, one would often question her grip on reality. She’s an avid Star Wars fan with an extensive collection of memorabilia and loves all things science fiction, comic book and anime related.

* Ezekiel O. Possum A possum, Ezekiel (most often referred to as Zeek) is a kindly old possum who lives in rural Winchester. His home doubles as his place of business where he grows and sells plants and produce.

* Andy A monkey. We all have those irritating house guests… that one person who comes over uninvited to mooch off your food, money and then proceeds to crash on your couch. Andy is much worse. He considers himself a professional stunt man, but he’s far from it. His stunts usually fail seconds after they are initiated causing injury and several hundred dollars in property damage.

Logansryche: trying to get the pics to work right

The station went on hiatus in 2017 but is back playing classic rock as of 7/5/2019.

The station went on hiatus in 2017 but is back playing classic rock as of 7/5/2019.

Simply Panda Jenn is a biweekly webcomic written by Ross Snyder and Illustrated by Jennifer Morton.

OsGrid Furry Continent

The OsGrid Furry Continent is a group of regions on the opensource platform OsGrid OpenSim aimed at providing a place for Furs, Nekos, and Otherkin.

__TOC__
History
In late 2016, longtime resident Rycon/Logan Bamaisin saw the Fur Valleys slowly slipping from view in the scope of furs & nekos in Second Life and came up with a plan to restore all valley regions that had gone under and make the valleys relevant again. These ideas were shared with Mako Minogue and Wolphin Fluffball, two of the founders of the valleys and they were on board with Rycon's ideas. Before Rycon could relay his ideas to Foxkin Impfondo, he had passed away and his estate dissolved. Armed with not wanting the valleys or the idea of virtual furs having a place to go, Logan's first attempt at paying it forward was recreating the valleys in Minecraft, a project that lasted a month and in the end, showed no merit. After taking a hiatus from everything, Logan brought some regions online in OsGrid OpenSim where they've remained.

Furry Continent
To better serve the virtual side of the fandom, Logan teamed up with fellow fur Jeeper Shim to create OsGrid's first ever Furry Continent. The continent currently consists of the valley regions Logan brought online(31 regions in total) and Jeeper's White Wolf regions(13 regions in total) bringing the current continent total to 44 regions. The purpose will be to provide virtual space for those that want it, mirroring what the valleys originally stood for.

White Wolf Regions
Jeeper Shim's White Wolf Regions consist of 13 regions put into a 3x4 block making up the bulk of the estate with a single region (the maze) out in the middle of nowhere. The estate has only ever been in OsGrid and is established with remaining in the same spot for 10+ years.

The Fur Valleys
The valleys make up the lower end of the continent and currently stands at 31 regions. The estate is hosted ib a subgke 10-core Intel E5 series server running Ubuntu 18 on 60gb of ram and 1tb of hard drive space.

Fur Valleys

The Fur Valleys (often known as "The Valleys") were a group of island simulations (also known as "regions" or inaccurately as "sims") within Second Life. The Valleys in Second Life were located in the southwestern area of the grid.

__TOC__

Logansryche is a gamer,YouTuber, radio personality, and avid cryptocurrency miner. In the Furry Fandom, he's an Arctic Fox. He's also Co-Owner of the Minecraft Community Aristide Network with his wife Sage, and webmaster to the the Card Collector Blog.

<div>__TOC__</div>

History
Logansryche was born Matthew Vacanti 10/14/1982 in Twentynine Palms, CA to a retired marine father and school secretary mother. In 2013 Logan(now married) reevaluated himself in what it meant to cary the fox fursona and could see where the lines started to blend between the Arctic Fox and Siberian Husky(loves the cold, despises humidity, etc..). In 2017, Logan discovered there was already a YouTuber named Rycon and didn't want to cause confusion, so he changed his name to Logan(which was short for Logansryche anyway). The timing was perfect for the name change as Logan also blended the two animals that fit his personality to become a Fusky. Logan's real world background includes construction, maintenance, scraping(where he lost his sense of smell), database processing, computer repair, drawing, image editing, flash production, website creation/webmastering, forum moderation/adminship, wiki stuff, server maintenance, voice over work, and recently Minecraft server ownership/adminship and YouTubing.

Virtually Speaking
Since Logan was never able to afford to purchase or create a fursuit, he went virtual thanks to the help of his then voice actor friend Mobius Infinity. In 2006 Mobius introduced Logan to a virtual world called Second Life. They were still in beta and weren't accepting new accounts so he waited a year and created one. This avatar was worn until 2017 when the avatar was again changed back to a Husky. Today Logan is once again a fox and as of 2/2018 is wearing a JOMO fox, taking advantage of the new more realistic bento mesh.

Radio Work
Both Logan and his father have always been fascinated with using radio as a medium, and while Logan's father took the more local approach, Logan started FOUSE Radio with his parter Sage in 2010. This lasted until 2016 with a disagreement in politics with the stream hoster, which lead to the creation of Steampunk radio station Aristide Radio. This station went on hiatus 1/2017 pending stream hosting.

The Aristide Network
The Aristide Network started out as an umbrella group for a variety of projects and in the end became a minecraft server/community.
As of 6/1/2017 the network moved off it's own server to settle in to Adultcrafts server. As of 2/2018 The Aristide Network is now on Aternos.
