Fur the 'More
Fur the 'More is an annual furry convention. Its first event was held April 5-7, 2013 in the Hunt Valley Inn in Hunt Valley, a suburb of Baltimore, Maryland, USA, approximately 17 miles north of downtown. It includes charitable benefits, educational seminars, art shows, panels, and general social activities.

Fur the 'More began as an idea between a few friends in the Maryland furry community to start a local convention in Baltimore. The idea was originally started while attending the Furstivus convention in Philadelphia and the question was posed, "Why doesn’t Baltimore have a convention?"fact

In March 2012, Anthropomorphic Association offered to partner with Fur the 'More to back them as the umbrella 501(c)7 non-profit organization. As a result of negotiations, Fur the 'More became a NorthEast Anthropomorphic Association convention, and the primary founder and con-chair was offered a seat on the Board of Directors as a trustee.

In May, 2014, it was announced that the 2015 convention would be moving to Tysons Corner, Virginia. On or before the end of January 2015 it was transferred to the Mid-Atlantic Anthropomorphic Society. In 2017, it was realized that the mission of Mid-Atlantic Anthropmorphic Society, a 501c7 was more in line with educational charitable missions. The group re-incorporated as Mid-Atlantic Anthropomorphic Association, Inc and received a designation of 501c3. After which, the original 501c7 organization was dissolved.

The Maryland Furskate (MDFurskate) is a regularly occurring furry event held near Baltimore, Maryland. The event invites members of the regional furry community and members of the public to participate in a night of socializing and rollerskating.

MDFurskate was started by Irime Zane one of the local Maryland Furs Moderators as a regional recurring event similar to the Delaware Furbowl. The original idea was to have a unique event that was different from the numerous "Furbowls" occurring in the furry community that belonged to the Maryland Furry Community as a whole. Scheduled deliberately to be in the months in between Delaware Furbowl in order to avoid schedule conflicts so furries in the region could attend both.

MDFurskate was run by Irime Zane with assistance from Kit Drago. Miltonius Prime sets up a small gaming meet area at the event. It was originally co-scheduled with an event hosted by Rexxie the Cat called the "Osaka Grill and Buffet Meet" that stopped for a year, but plans to restart with the Feb planned MDFurskate.

The MDFurs through the Furskate raised money for both resources for events, such as the headless lounge built for use at events, the annual holiday party, and to donate to charity. From inception until 2017, funds donated to Charity went to Frisky's Wildlife Sanctuary through an annual group donation to the Fur the 'More charity fund. On Oct 21st 2017, after Irime Zane and Kit Drago stepped down from active moderator-ship of the MDFurs community, the MDFurskate was officially handed over to FlickyB at which time charity fund raising switched from an annual contribution to a per-event contribution. The recipient charity was changed to Rude Ranch Animal Rescue.

The Maryland Furskate is a regularily occurring furry event held near Baltimore, Maryland. The event invites members of the area furry community and members of the public to participate in a night of socializing and rollerskating.

MDFurskate was started by Irime Zane one of the local Maryland Moderators as a regional recurring event similar to the Delaware Furbowl.

It was co-scheduled with an event hosted by Rexxie the Cat called the "Osaka Grill and Buffet Meet"

The MDFurs through the Furskate raised money for both resources for events, such as the headless lounge built for use at events, the annual holiday party, and to donate to charity. From inception until 2017, funds donated to Charity went to Frisky's Wildlife Sanctuary through a group donation to the Fur the 'More charity fund. On Oct 21st 2017, after Irime Zane and Kit Drago stepped down from active moderatorship of the MDFurs community, the MDFurskate was officially handed over to FlickyB at which time charity fund raising switched from an annual contribution to a per-event contribution. The recipient charity was changed to Rude Ranch Animal Rescue.

In May, 2014, it was announced that the 2015 convention would be moving to Tysons Corner, Virginia.<ref>"From the Con-Chair: Why we moved" - posting on the Fur the 'More website. Fur the 'More is an annual furry convention in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Its first event was held April 5-7, 2013 in the Hunt Valley Inn in Hunt Valley, a suburb of Baltimore approximately 17 miles north of downtown. It includes charitable benefits, educational seminars, art shows, panels, and general social activities.

Fur the 'More began as an idea between a few friends in the Maryland furry community to start a local convention in Baltimore. The idea was originally started while attending the Furstivus convention in Philadelphia and the question was posed "Why doesn’t Baltimore have a convention?"

In March 2012, NorthEast Anthropomorphic Association offered to partner with Fur the 'More to back them as the umbrella 501(c)7 non-profit organization. As a result of negotiations, Fur the 'More became a NorthEast Anthropomorphic Association convention, and the primary founder and convention Con-Chair was offered a seat on the Board of Directors as a trustee.
