The movie is based around the concept of an Earth-like planet where humans never existed and anthropomorphic animals are the main, evolved sentient beings. Most of the story takes place in the animal city of Zootopia, whose motto is "Anyone can be Anything", and which is divided by neighborhoods like Tundratown, Sahara Square, Little Rodentia, the Rainforest District, and Savanna Central, a virtual melting pot where animals from every environment live together. However, the city is separated into classes, where they face prejudice based on preconceived notions about their species. Although it's been thousands of years since the animals of Zootopia have evolved beyond their savage ways where predators hunted and prey lived in fear, there is still some lingering unease over their respective natures.

Spoiler
Judy Hopps grew up in the nearby town of Bunnyburrow among a family of carrot farmers but dreams of being the first ever bunny cop in Zootopia. She goes to the police academy where after some struggles she graduates at the top of her class and gets a warm welcome from Zootopia mayor Lionheart into the police department. Chief Bogo, unaccustomed to having anything other than larger animals in his force, assigns Judy to parking duty while the others are sent to work on the cases of fourteen missing mammals, all predators. Though disappointed to be treated as a token bunny, Judy is determined to excel at her task. She has her first encounter with Nick Wilde, whom she aids when he and his toddler is being refused service at an ice cream parlor for elephants, but she soon discovers Nick is a wily, fast-talking con artist and the "toddler" is Finnick, a full-grown fennec.

On her second day at work, Judy witnesses a burglary in progress and abandons her parking duty to chase the thief, Duke Weaselton, into Little Rodentia. But when the booty turns out to be nothing but a bunch of flower bulbs, Chief Bogo is ready to fire Judy on the spot, but a timely appearance by assistant mayor Bellwhether and Mrs. Otterton, wife of one of the missing mammals, results in Judy being given 48 hours to solve the case.

Judy has little to go on but sees Nick in the last known picture of Mr. Otterton, so she tracks him down and by recording a few confessions on her carrot pen, convinces him to aid her in finding him. Their search first takes them to Yax, leader of a naturalist colony, where they get the license number of the vehicle Otterton was last seen in, then to the DMV which turns out to be staffed entirely by sloths. They find the vehicle, a limo, which Nick discovers belongs to Mr. Big, the most feared crime boss in Tundratown. They are accosted by some of Mr. Big's thugs and taken to him, an arctic shrew. Mr. Big is about to "ice" them when his daughter reveals Judy has saved her from being smashed by a giant donut during the earlier chase in Little Rodentia. They are invited to stay for the daughter's wedding, and are told that the limo was being driven by a jaguar named Manchas. Nick and Judy visit Manchas at his home in the Rainforest District, and he tells of how Mr. Otterton went savage and attacked him. While they are talking, Manchas himself goes savage and a chase ensues, ending with Manchas chained and Nick and Judy bound awkwardly.

The police and Chief Bogo arrive to find them this way, but Manchas has mysteriously disappeared, and Bogo is about to fire Judy on the spot, but Nick steps in and says they have ten hours left to find the missing otter. They head off together and Nick tells the story of how he was bullied as a child for being a predator and a fox, an experience that made Nick decide he may as well be what people expect of him. Nick suggests they view traffic camera footage to discover what happened to Manchas, and Judy contacts Bellwether to gain access to the system. They discover Manchas was taken by two wolves, "night howlers", who took him to an asylum. Nick and Judy go and break into the place, where they discover all the missing mammals, including Mr. Otterton and Manchas, all of whom have gone savage. They overhear a conversation between mayor Lionheart and a doctor before an alarm goes off and they barely escape with the evidence. The police swarm the place and arrest Lionheart.

Judy invites Nick to become a cop and be her partner, but she says some wrong things leading to fears that any predator may be at risk of turning savage. Nick walks out on her, unrest increases among the animals of Zootopia, and pop singer Gazelle leads a peaceful protest to bring back the Zootopia she loves. Bellwether, now mayor, and Chief Bogo offer Judy a role as the public face of the police department, but Judy, dismayed by what has happened, resigns from the police force. Back in Bunnyburrow, Judy is selling carrots from the farm when an encounter with a former bully turned pastry chef reveals that the flowers they use to keep bugs away, and which once caused her uncle to go crazy, are called "night howlers".

She rushes back to Zootopia where she finds Nick, apologizes to him for what she said earlier in the press conference, and tells what she learned. They find Weaselton, who eventually reveals he was stealing the bulbs for a secret laboratory. Nick and Judy find the lab, run by rams, in an abandoned tram car, where night howlers are being grown and turned into a serum to make animals go savage. They steal the tram, which turns out to be still operable, but in their escape end up destroying all the evidence except a case with a dart gun and a few of the serum pellets. They take a short cut through the natural history museum on the way to the ZPD, where they encounter Mayor Bellwether, whom Judy quickly works out is behind the scheme. In ensuing chase, Nick and Judy end up trapped in a display, where Bellwether reveals her plan to incite fear of predators in the majority prey population. She then shoots Nick, who turns savage and attacks Judy. Before killing her, he stops and reveals they had replaced the serum pellets in the gun with blueberries, and had also recorded Bellwether's confession on the carrot pen. The police arrive and Bellwether and her rams are arrested.

Judy reclaims her place on the ZPD and Nick joins the force, becoming her partner. The film ends with a Gazelle concert.
Release of the trailers sparked several discussions on furry forums about whether the makers were showing tacit awareness of furry fandom; possibly true due to the highlighting of the word "anthropomorphic" in the trailer (which no other movie needed to define).

In December 2015, tech and culture blog Inverse speculated that the Zootopia marketing was directed at furries. Author Emily Gaudette's article "Disney Prepares to Cash In on the Furry Demographic with 'Zootopia'" quoted Reddit discussion by furries including Patch O'Furr, who was covering it at Dogpatch Press.

With the release of the movie in March 2016, Gaudette wrote a second article proposing that "'Zootopia' is a Deliberate, Definitive, and Probably Sensual Fantasy for Furries". It led a wave of notice a day later, when BuzzFeed’s Katie Notopoulos "uncovered proof that at least one marketing agency hired by Disney to promote the film is reaching out to the furry community". Emily Gaudette's initial coverage mentioned porn, however her followup reported furry criticism, and took care to moderate the topic away from sex and towards romantic chemistry. She mentioned that she was personally into the chemistry and understood how it caused "furry awakenings", and she researched and engaged with comments from furries. Followups from Buzzfeed, Gizmodo and Vanity Fair piggybacked on the initial story without researching or engaging, instead slanting coverage with links to "TonyTigerGate" and Vanity Fairs hated 2001 "Pleasures of the Fur" article.

Setting and plot
The story is set in the metropolitan Islamic kingdom of Osra, with the capital city being Sath.

spoiler
In the story, a young streetwise Bat girl named Sandhri, orphaned when her Hill region family and village were massacred by the sociopathic Prince Abbas's forces, makes a marginal living as a street storyteller of considerable talent in the capital city.

One day, she is approached by a young Jackal scholar, Raschid, who is taken by her stories and the two hit off well immediately. As time passes, and although Sandhri refuses to let the Jackal tell the whole truth about himself or accept barely any gifts from him, they have numerous adventures which include a time when she impersonates a government vending inspector thanks to a phony letter of authorization written by Raschid. After an adventure where they are pursued by mysterious figures, she invites him to her room to hide for the night and after she confesses her difficult past to Raschid's horror, they become lovers, which allows Sandhri to gain a measure of inner peace.

Unfortunately, that bliss proves short lived as soldiers come to Sandhri's room the next morning to deliver a summons to the palace for Raschid. To Sandhri's outrage, Raschid confesses that he is indeed Prince Raschid Al Dinaq, the younger son of the Shah Marwan of Osra himself, who had returned to Sath recently after spending much of his time as a scholarly student. Convinced he was playing her for sexual sport, she rejects him in rage and refuses to believe his explanations of why his true status was not mentioned. Despondent beyond all endurance seeing Raschid leave utterly heartbroken, Sandhri attempts suicide, only to be rescued and taken in by a close friend.

At the same time, a young mouse dancer named Yariim is held in the palace as a part of its harem. To the harem matron's frustration, Yariim refuses to cooperate in the expected sexual duties, wishing only to dance. Even repeated attempts to force her were unsuccessful.

Meanwhile, Raschid is watched by mysterious figures who have separate designs on the prince which included one early incident where one side attempted to kill him while the other violently interceded. In addition, his mother, Shiraj, seeing Raschid's stubborn yearning to regain the street beggar's heart, has her own plans that demand the removal of this complication.

At a royal council meeting, Raschid, although deeply upset at Sandhri's spurning, is charged with dealing with nomadic attacks on the kingdom's trade over the objections of the arrogant Abbas whose own previous attempted counter attack proved a bloody fiasco.

Raschid prepares for the mission, but has to ceaselessly quarrel with even his closest friends about his unorthodox innovations such as using camels for the desert campaign, training new units made up with strong willed former slaves, loyal only to the crown, and equipping them with a revolutionary new weapon type, the musket. Meanwhile, his mother schemes to eliminate Sandhri. She has Sandhri secretly arrested to later be sold to the slave markets in some distant area. Although initially suspecting Raschid responsible for this plight, she learns from a mysterious figure that she is wanted to be used to kill the prince. Now alarmed at his peril, Sandhri instantly forgives Raschid and tries to play along with the man to save the prince. Although the agent sees through the deception, Sandhri uses all her personal charm and storytelling skill to persuade a young guard to bring the royal slave procurer to her. Once achieved, she uses her phony authorization letter to convince him that she is Prince Raschid's personal foodtaster and he eagerly purchases her for the royal harem what he thought was a bargain.

Once in the palace, Sandhri is groomed and dressed as a part of the harem and eventually reunites with Raschid with the help of the irrepressible preteen mouse servant girl, Itbit, and the pair are overjoyed beyond words. Although the storyteller soon charms most of the court with her wit, Raschid's father refuses to let him marry Sandhri, although she is still permitted to be his concubine. Meanwhile, they make fast friends with Yariim and attempt to help her as best they can, but the expedition, which Sandhri insists on joining to protect her love, is set to start shortly and any real assistance would have to wait until they return.

With the cunning Sandhri helping the naive prince, the expedition not only is smoothly organized, but her support helps the quiet Raschid gain the force of will to put his insubordinate lords, Caid and Amdeh, in their place when their arrogant incompetence interferes.

At Caid's estate, Sandhri manages to manipulate him to bragging about his enslavement of nomads, which means that nation has a legitimate grievance against Osra. However, the lovers are beset by an assassination attempt by Caid, arranged by Abbas' mother to remove her son's rival, only to be thwarted by Itbit's (who stowed away on the expedition) alert bravery. Furthermore, Caid learns to his sorrow at how seriously he underestimated of Sandhri's ferocity as well as Raschid's own fighting skill and innovative military ideas. As a result, the attempt is to put down with overwhelming force while the fugitive Caid is killed by a mysterious creature. Furthermore, numerous discoveries of a bizarre glass dagger type of weapon filled with magic poison alert the heroes of more hidden dangers.

Eventually, Raschid becomes separated from the expedition during a sandstorm. While Sandhri and Itbit desperately search for him, Raschid is deliriously confronted by the demon K'aath who offers to save him if he becomes her servant. With his burning love for Sandhri giving him strength the demon never suspected, he resists the temptation enough for her to abandon him in frustration. With his stubborn camel, Marwan, Raschid wanders into a deserted city ruin and barely fights off a dangerous bird of prey before being captured by nomads. In their custody, Raschid tries to convince them that he intends to undo the crimes and already killed the ringleader of them, but they are slow to believe him. Only when Sandhri and Itbit secretly come to rescue Raschid while he insists on staying to help the nomads are the nomads convinced that Raschid is sincere. In the ensuing meeting of the nomadic tribes, Raschid and Sandhri convince them to join forces to create a peaceful co-existence, a conviction which is reinforced by one nomad who kills a hidden would-be glass-dagger assassin of Raschid at the meeting.

Eventually, the heroes and the nomads rescue Raschid's forces who are under attack from the previous insurrection's accomplices and the combined forces return to Sath in triumph.

Once there, the heroes rescue Yariim who is being flogged by Abbas for her defiance to his abuse, and Raschid manages to disgrace his cruel brother in front of his father. However, more investigation of the monster assassins by the heroes reveals a horrific truth; Raschid was born to be an avatar for the demon K'aath and his mother is a senior collaborator in this diabolical scheme. However, his intense love for Sandhri has turned the Jackal away from this destiny.

This all comes to a head when Raschid's mother assassinates the Shah, Abbas' mother attempts her own separate coup attempt, Abbas is turned by Raschid's mother into a mindlessly powerful monster, and Sandhri is abducted to become forcibly possessed by the spirit of K'aath. With great difficulty, the heroes defeat the threats while the love that Raschid, Sandhri and Yariim share allows them to survive in the face of this peril.

In the end, Raschid, the only surviving royal, is crowned Shah with undisputed authority with the nobility and bureaucracy profoundly weakened in his favor. With his companions helping put his idealistic dreams into practical reality, the new Shah plans great reforms to the kingdom beginning with the conversion of the harem into a great school of the arts with the girls being its salaried faculty.

Meanwhile, Sandhri struggles with her love for Raschid and Yariim's own love for him until she tells one more story. In it, she makes it clear to her loves that she is more than willing to share, as her suggestion of Raschid taking them both as wives is eagerly accepted.
Fangs of K'aath is a novel by Paul Kidd, with illustrations by Monika Livingstone; it was published by United Publications in April 2000, as a hardcover with the ISBN 0953784703. The novel was followed by a sequel, Fangs of K'aath 2: Guardians of Light.

Premise
spoiler
The strip is set in the town of Bon Bon, a remote mountain town with a thriving tourism economy where prostitution and gambling are openly tolerated and/or encouraged.

A young cat, William, moves there to escape some serious debts and to look for a job. Unfortunately, a key reason for the financial distress is that he is a compulsive gambler and is unaware of the casinos in the town until it is too late.

Soon, having lost almost all his money at the tables, Williams purchases one last drink before going off to commit suicide, only to have fate intervene. That occurrs when Violet, a naive raccoon prostitute, runs into him, spilling his drink and provoking him to demand a refund.

Betty, the brothel's top woman, sees the incident and assumes that Violet has found a new client for her. However, William refuses Betty's advances in favor of his refund demand and starts a fight in frustration. The cat is soon beaten and about to be thrown out when an associate tells Betty that he is looking for employment.

As a result, William wakes up in Betty's quarters and is presented with an employment opportunity. It turns out that Simon Blue, the richest man in Bon Bon, is looking for a new butler to manage his household at a handsome wage of 5000 florins a month. The duties would include looking after his daughter, Mary, whom he keeps almost literally under lock and key on the estate to prevent her from being corrupted by the pervasive sexuality in the community. To that end, Simon is insistent on a homosexual employee to preclude him taking advantage of her. Betty and Violet propose that William pass as gay to get the job and William, while initially flummoxed at the job condition, agrees to the idea. He decides he can model his role after as his good gay friend, Dorian Gay, who is much like a furry Oscar Wilde.

Unknown to him however, Mary Blue is a beautiful young feline woman who is deeply sexually frustrated and desires a handsome lover more than anything else. As a result, William, who is quite good looking and generally well mannered although sexually subdued and emotional excitable, will likely face a powerfully tempting occupational hazard when he finds that fact out.
Plot summary
spoiler
Six years after the marriage of Shah Raschid to his wives, Sandhri as First Wife and Yariim as Second Wife, Osra has become a renowned center of learning, religious tolerance and social justice, while also a major military power thanks to the royal family's reforms and innovations.

Into this setting, comes a quiet zen buddist panda named Tsau-yi Meng, scion of The Way and bearer of sixteen volumes and four commentaries, comes to Sath with an ambition of converting the rulers to his religion. Eventually he meets Sandhri and after her status as the First Queen is made clear as well as the strength of her family's convictions, the panda is soon taken under wing to be the tutor to Itbit whom he is instantly smitten with.

Unfortunately in lands far away, there is a horrific menace in a diabolical warlord named Tsu-Khan who is on a merciless campaign of bloody conquest. He is augmented with his demonic power to replace key figures by killing them and replacing them with specteral minions possessing their bodies as well as the ability to raise the dead into undead troops when necessary. He has designs on conquering Osra, but is wary enough of its military power and special rulers to attempt to use more clever means to achieve that objective.

The story begins with the death of an elderly and lonely veteran, Warren Schaeffer, whose cat died soon before him. In the afterlife threshold, Warren meets a guardian spirit who tells him of his passage to Heaven, but Warren balks when he learns that his cat, as an animal, is excluded from there.
In the resulting argument, a cat goddess named Ilura intercedes and offers an alternative for Warren over the objections of the guardian spirit. Warren accepts and he is taken to the cat afterlife, where cats are reborn into a humanoid primitive civilization. The goddess takes Warren to witness the assassination of a birth defective prince Rhudiprrt. At the moment of his death, Warren is installed as the prince's body's replacement consciousness and charged with the duty of advancing the cat civilization in some undefined way.

In the end, Raschid, only surviving royal, is crowned Shah and he plans great reforms to the kingdom beginning with the conversion of the harem into a great school of the arts with the girls being its salaried faculty. Meanwhile, Sandhri struggles with her love for Raschid and Yariim's own love for him until she tells one more story. In it, she makes it clear to her loves that she is more than willing to share, as her suggestion of Raschid taking them both as wives is eagerly accepted.

Fangs of K'aath is a prose novel by Paul Kidd, with illustrations by Monika Livingstone; it was published by United Publications in April 2000.

After an adventure where they are pursued by mysterious figures, she invites him to her room to hide for the night and after she confesses her difficult past to Raschid's horror, they become lovers.

Meanwhile, they make fast friends with Yariim and attempt to help her as best they can, but the expedition, which Sandhri insists on joining to protect her love, is set to start shortly and any real assistance would have to wait until they return.

With Sandhri providing valuable aid to the naive prince with the intricate details of military organization such as avoiding cheats and procuring camels, the pair's (with Itbit who stowed away) expedition goes underway while hidden forces plot their own plans.

At one of the accompanying Lord's estates, Sandhri manages to manipulate him to bragging about his abduction and enslavement of nomads, which means that they have a legitimate grievance against Osra. However, the lovers are beset by an assassination attempt arranged by Abbas' mother to remove her son's rival, only to be thwarted by Itbit's alert bravery and the enemy's grave underestimation of both Sandhri's ferocity as well as Raschid's own fighting skill and innovative military ideas which allow them to put down the attempt with overwhelming force. Meanwhile, sightings of a strange assassin creature and numerous discoveries of a bizarre glass dagger type of weapon filled with magic poison alert the heroes of hidden dangers.

In their custody, Raschid tries to convince them that he intends to undo the crimes, but they are slow to believe him. Only when Sandhri and Itbit secretly come to rescue Raschid while he insists on staying to help the nomads are they convinced that Raschid is sincere. In the ensuing meeting of the nomadic tribes, Raschid and Sandhri convince them to join forces to create a peaceful co-existance, a conviction which is demonstrated by one nomad who kills a hidden would-be glass-dagger assassin of Raschid at the meeting.

Eventually, the heroes and the nomads rescue Raschid's forces who are under attack from the previous insurrection's accomplices and the combined forces return to Sath in triumph.

Once there, the heroes rescue Yariim who is being flogged by Abbas for her defiance to his abuse and Raschid manages to disgrace him in front of his father. However, more investigation of the monster assassins the heroes reveals a horrific truth; Raschid was born to be an avatar for the demon K'aath and his mother is a senior collaborator in this diabolical scheme. However, his intense love for Sandhri has turned the Jackal away from this destiny.

This all comes to a head when Raschid's mother assassinates the Shah, Abbas' mother attempts her own separate coup attempt, Abbas is turned into a mindlessly powerful monster and Sandhri is abducted to become forcibly possessed by the spirit of K'aath. With great difficulty, the heroes defeat the threats while the love that Raschid, Sandhri and Yariim share allows them to survive in the face of this peril.

In the end, Raschid, only surviving royal left, is crowned Shah and he plans great reforms to the kingdom beginning with the conversion of the harem into a great school of the arts with the girls being its salaried faculty. Meanwhile, Sandhri struggles with her love for Raschid and Yariim's own love until she tells one more story that makes it clear to her loves that she is more than willing to share, as her suggestion of Raschid take them both as wives is eagerly accepted.

Animal Farm: A Fairy Story is a novel written by George Orwell, first published by Secker and Warburg in August 1945. It could be considered one of the first 'furry' novels, although the use of animal characters was largely a use of metaphor.

Plot
In the novel, a group of animals, tired of abuse by their human owners, revolt. Although their philosophy of 'Animalism' is popular, few of the animals are able to understand its concepts fully, and the pigs exploit this, becoming the de-facto ruling class and exploiting the difference in species to keep the animals miseducated. For example, instead of teaching the animals what the precepts of Animalism are, they paint them on a wall and try to teach the animals how to read, a skill that only the pigs learned. Later, they claimed 'weakness' and 'special needs' in order to claim more and more special abilities. Finally, the animals cannot tell the difference between pig and human, and the precepts of animalism have been reduced to a single phrase: 'All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.'

Influence
The Animalism precept 'All animals are equal' is referenced in the title to the furry supplement to Gamma World, All Animals Are Equal.

The book has been turned into a movie twice: an animated movie in 1955, and a live-action movie in 1999.

The furry Snowball took his name from the character of the same name in the book.

The Animals
The characters that populate Animal Farm are those that you would expect on any farm; pigs, horses, chickens, dogs and so on. It is particularly interesting how Orwell has humanised the animals. His humanisation of animals is a peculiar mix of a realistic approach and the need to suspend belief.

As far as language goes, initially the animals communicate in their own 'animal language' and learn later to speak and read the human language through exposure to books they find. Taking into account the varying brain size of the animals, some animals are more adept at learning the human language than others. For example, the pigs become quite literate whereas the sheep and chickens learn very little. Interestingly, there is very little actual dialogue written word for word. For example, instead of writing "I'm going to get some food," Orwell might write "He told everyone that he was going to gather some food." Whenever actual written dialogue is present, it is usually an important speech being made.

When it comes to the physical capabilities of the animals, some suspension of belief is required. The pigs learn to write, and make do without hands by curling the knuckles of their hoofs around a pen or brush. In reality it is unlikely a pig could actually grasp a writing tool well enough in this manner to write, but we readily accept this.

Finally, whereas the world of the humans and animals is a separate one in most stories involving animals and humans, in Animal Farm the humans eventually act as though the animals were humans. The Animal Farm becomes a common topic of conversation, there are some business deals with the humans and in general the people appear to regard the animals as humans.

The Films
Two films based on the George Orwell have been made. One was an animated film, which stuck fairly close to the original story, but added a more family friendly ending by tacking on an epilogue where the animals take their chances and revolt against the pigs. The other film was a live action film made with live animals. This film took far more liberties with the source material.

Fangs of K'aath is a prose novel by Paul Kidd.

After an adventure where they are pursued by mysterious figures, she invites him to her room to hide for the night and after she confesses her difficult past to Raschid's horror, they become lovers.

At the same time, a young mouse dancer named Tarim is held in the palace as a part of its harem. To the harem matron's frustration, Tariim refuses to cooperate in the expected sexual duties, wishing only to dance.

While Raschid prepares for the mission by training new units equipped with a revolutionary new weapon type, the musket, his mother schemes to eliminate Sandhri. She has Sandhri secretly arrested to later be sold to the slave markets in some distant area. Although initially suspecting Raschid responsible for this plight, she learns from a mysterious figure that she is wanted to be used to kill the prince. Now alarmed his peril, Sandhri instantly forgives Raschid and tries to play along with the man to save the prince. Although he sees through the deception Sandhri uses all her personal charm and storytelling skill to persuade a young guard to bring the royal slave procuror to her. Once achieved, she uses her phony authorization letter to convince him that she is Prince Raschid's personal foodtaster and he eagerly purchases her for the royal harem what he thought was a bargain.

Once in the palace, she is groomed and dressed as a part of the harem and eventually meets up with Raschid with the help of the irrepressable preteen mouse servant girl, Itbit, and the pair are overjoyed beyond words at the reunion. Although Sandhri soon charms most of the court with her wit, Raschid's father refuses to let him marry Sandhri although she is still permitted to be his concubine. Meanwhile, they make fast friends with Yariim and attempt to help her as best they can, but the expedition is set to start shortly and any real assistance would have to wait until they return.

With Sandhri providing valuable aid to the naive prince with the intricate details of military organization such as avoiding cheats and procuring camels, the pair's (with Itbit who stowed away) expedition goes underway while hidden forces plot their own plans.

This includes an assassination attempt arranged by Abbas' mother to remove her son's rival, only to be thwarted by Itbit's alert bravery and the enemy's grave underestimation of both Sandhri's ferocity as well as Raschid's own fighting skill and innovative military ideas which allow them to put down the attempt with overwhelming force. Meanwhile, sightings of a strange assassin creature and numerous discoveries of a bizarre glass dagger type of weapon filled with magic poison alert the heroes of hidden dangers.

Later, Raschid learns of the legitimate grievances of the nomads like abductions by Osrani slavers and he tries to convince them that he intends to undo the crimes. However, only when Sandhri and Itbit secretly come to rescue him while Raschid insists on staying to help the nomads are they convinced that Raschid is sincere. In the ensuing meeting of the nomadic tribes, Raschid and Sandhri convince them to join forces to create a peaceful co-existance, a conviction which is demonstrated by one nomad who kills a hidden would be glass dagger assassin of Raschid at the meeting.

Eventually, the heroes and the nomads rescue Raschid's forces who are under attack from the previous insurrection's accomplices and the combined forces return to Sath in triumph.

Once there, the heroes rescue Tariim who is being flogged by Abbas for her defiance to his abuse and Raschid manages to disgrace him in front of his father. However, more investigation of the monster assassins the heroes reveals a horrific truth; Raschid was born to be an avatar for the demon K'aath and his mother is a senior collaborator in this diabolical scheme. However, his intense love for Sandhri has turned the Jackal away from this destiny.

This all comes to a head when Raschid's mother assassinates the Shah, Abbas' mother attempts her own separate coup attempt, Abbas is turned into a mindlessly and powerful monster and Sandhri is abducted to become forcibly possessed by the spirit of K'aath.

Meanwhile, Sandhri struggles with her love for Raschid and Yariim's own love until she tells one more story that makes it clear to her loves that she is more than willing to share as her suggestion of Raschid take them both as wives is eagerly accepted.

Fangs of K'aath is a prose novel by Paul Kidd.

After an adventure where they are pursued by mysterious figures, she invites him to her room to hide for the night and after she confesses her difficult past to Raschid's horror, they become lovers.

At the same time, a young mouse dancer named Tarim is held in the palace as a part of its harem. To the harem matron's frustration, Tariim refuses to cooperate in the expected sexual duties, wishing only to dance.

==Plot summary==

Fangs of K'aath is a prose novel by Paul Kidd.

As time passes, and although Sandhri refuses to let the Jackal tell the whole truth about himself or accept barely any gifts from him, they have numerous adventures which include a time when she impersonated a government vending inspector thanks to a phony letter of authorization written by Raschid. Eventually, she invites him to her room and after she confesses her difficult past to Raschid's horror, they become lovers.

Unfortunately, that bliss proved short lived as soldiers come to Sandhri's room to deliver a summons to the palace for Raschid. To Sandhri's outrage, Raschid confesses that he is indeed Prince Raschid Al Dinaq, the younger son of the Shah of Osra himself, who returned to Sath recently after spending much of his time as a scholarly student. Convinced he was playing her for sexual sport, she rejects him and refuses to believe his explanations of why his true status was not mentioned. Despondent beyond all endurance, Sandhri attempts suicide, only to be rescued and taken in by a close friend.

At the same time, a young mouse dancer named Tariim is held in the palace as a part of its harem. To the harem matron's frustration, Tariim refuses to cooperate in the expected sexual duties, wishing only to dance. Even repeated attempts to force her were unsuccessful.

Meanwhile, Raschid is watched by mysterious figures who have separate designs on the prince which included one early incident where one side attempted to kill him while the other violently interceded. In addition, his mother, seeing Raschid's stubborn yearning to regain the street beggar's heart, has her own plans that demand the removal of this complication.

At a royal council meeting, Raschid, although deeply upset at Sandhri's spurning, is charged with dealing with nomadic attacks on the kingdom's trade over the objections of the arrogant Abbas whose own previous attempt counter attack proved a bloody fiasco.

While Raschid prepares for the mission by training new units equipped with a revolutionary new weapon type, the musket, his mother schemes to eliminate Sandhri. She has Sandhri secretly arrested to later be sold to the slave markets in some distant area. It is there she learns that this was done to frustrate Raschid who pines for her constantly. Now knowing of the real love he as for her, Sandhri forgive him and uses her personal charm and storytelling skill to persuade a young guard to bring the royal slave procuror to her. Once achieved, she uses her phony authorization letter to convince him that she is Prince Raschid's personal foodtaster and he eagerly purchases her for the royal harem what he thought was a bargain.

Once in the palace, she is groomed and dressed as a part of the harem and eventually meets up with Raschid with the help of the irrepressable preteen mouse servant girl, Itbit, and the pair are overjoyed beyond words at the reunion . Although Sandhri soon charms most of the court with her wit, Raschid's father, refuses to let him marry Sandhri although she is still permitted to be his concubine.

This includes an assassination attempt arranged by Abbas' mother to remove her son's rival, only to be thwarted by Itbit's alert bravery and the enemy's grave underestimation of both Sandhri's ferocity and Raschid's innovative military ideas which allow them to forcefully put down the attempt with overwhelming force. Meanwhile, sightings of a strange assassin creature and numerous discoveries of a bizarre glass dagger type of weapon filled with magic poison alert the heroes of hidden dangers.

Eventually, Raschid becomes separated from the expedition during a sandstorm. While Sandhri and Itbit desperately search for him, Raschid and his stubborn camel, Marwan, wander into a deserted city ruin and barely fight off a dangerous bird of prey before being captured by nomads. Later, Raschid learns of the legitimate grievances of the nomads like abductions by Osrani slavers and he tries to convince them that he intends to undo the crimes. However, only when Sandhri and Itbit secretly come to rescue him while Raschid insists on staying to help the nomads are the nomads convinced that Raschid is sincere. In the ensuing meeting, Raschid and Sandhri convince the nomads of various tribes to join forces to create a peaceful co-existance, a conviction which is demonstrated by one nomad who kills a hidden would be glass dagger assassin of Raschid at the meeting.

Eventually, the heroes and the nomads rescue Raschid's forces who are under attack from the previous insurrection's accomplices and the combined forces return to Sath in triumph.

Once there, the heroes rescue Tariim who is being flogged by Abbas for her defiance and manage to disgrace him in front of his father. However, more investigation of the monster assassins the heroes reveals a horrific truth; Raschid was born to be effectively be an Anti-Christ for the demon K'aath and his mother is a senior collaborator in this diabolical scheme. However, the combination of Raschid's unexpected good hearted nature, the intense religious and intellectual education he received away from his mother's influence and his intense love for Sandhri have turned the Jackal away from this destiny.

This all comes to a head when Raschid's mother assassinates the Shah, Abbas' mother attempts her own separate coup attempt, Abbas is turned into a mindlessly and powerful monster and Sandhri is abducted to become forcibly possessed by the spirit of K'aath.

As time passes, they numerous adventures which include a time when she impersonated a government vending inspector thanks to a phony letter of authorization written by Raschid. Eventually, she invites him to her room and after she confesses her difficult past to Raschid's horror, they become lovers.

Unfortunately, that bliss proved short lived as soldiers came to Sandhri's room to deliver a summons to the palace for Raschid. To Sandhri's outrage, Raschid confesses that he is indeed a prince who only returned after spending much of his time as a scholarly student.

In addition, his mother, seeing Raschid's stubborn yearning to regain the street beggar's heart, has her own plans demand the removal of this complication.

At a royal council meeting, Raschid is charged with dealing with nomadic attacks on the kingdom's trade over the objections of the arrogant Abbas whose own previous attempt counter attack proved a bloody fiasco.

While Raschid prepares for the mission by training new units equipped with the revolutionary weapon type, the musket, his mother schemes to eliminate Sandhri. She has Sandhri secretly arrested to later be sold to the slave markets in some distant area. It is there she learns that this was done to frustrate Raschid who pines for her constantly. Now knowing of the real love he as for her, Sandhri's uses personal charm and storytelling to persuade a young guard to bring the royal slave procuror to her. Once achieved, she uses her phony authorization letter to convince him that she is Prince Raschid's personal foodtaster and he eagerly purchases her for what he thought was a bargain.

Once in the palace, she is groomed and dressed as a part of the harem and eventually meets up with Raschid who is overjoyed at the reunion with the help of the irrepressable preteen mouse servant girl, Itbit. Although Sandhri soon charms most of the court with her wit, Raschid's father, the Shah, refuses to let him marry Sandhri although she is still permitted to be his concubine. Meanwhile, they make fast friends with Yariim and attempt to help her as best they can, but the expedition is set to start and any real assistance will have to wait until they return.

With Sandhri providing valuable aid to the naive prince with the intricate details of military organization such avoiding cheats and procuring camels, the pair's (with Itbit who stowed away) expedition goes underway while hidden forces plot their own plans.

This included an assassination attempt arranged by Abbas' mother to remove her son's rivalry, only to be thwarted by Itbit's alert bravery and the enemy's grave underestimation of both Sandhri's ferocity and Raschid's innovative military ideas allow them to forcefully put down the attempt. Meanwhile, sightings of a strange assassin creature and numerous discoveries of a bizarre glass dagger type of weapon filled with magic poison alter the heroes of hidden dangers.

Eventually, Raschid becomes separated from the expedition during a sandstorm. While Sandhri and Itbit desperately search for him, Raschid and his stubborn camel, Marwan, wander into a deserted city ruin and barely fight of a dangerous bird of prey before being captured by nomads. Later, Raschid learns of the legitimate grievances of the nomads like slaver abductions and he tries to tell them that he intends to undue the crimes. However, only when Sandhri and Itbit come to rescue him while Raschid insists on staying to help the nomads are they convinced that Raschid is sincere. In the ensuing meeting, Raschid and Sandhri convince the nomads to join forces for a peaceful co-existance, a conviction which is demonstrated by one nomad who kills a would be glass dagger assassin of Raschid hidden in the meeting.

Eventually, the heroes and the nomads rescue Raschid's forces who are under attack from the previous insurrection's accomplices and the combined forces return to Sath in triumph.

Once there, the heroes rescue Tariim who is being flogged by Abbas and managed to disgrace him in front of his father. However, more investigation of the monster assassins the heroes reveals a horrific truth; Raschid was born to be effectively be an Anti-Christ for the demon K'aath and his mother is a senior colloaborator in this diabolical scheme.

With great difficulty, the heroes defeat the threats while the love that Raschid, Sandhri and Yariim share allows them to survive in the face of this peril.

In the end, Raschid, only surviving royal left, is crowned Shah and he plans great reforms to the kingdom with the conversion of the harem into a great school of the arts with the girls being its salaried faculty. Meanwhile, Sandhri struggles with her love for Raschid and Yariim's own love for him until she tells one more story that makes it clear to her loves that she is more than willing to share as her suggestion of Raschid take them both as wives is eagerly accepted.

"The Mink" is a long running action/adventure story created, drawn, and written by Kjartan Arnorsson that ran in the pages of Genus and Savage Funnies for nearly a decade.

The story centers primarily around Laura, known more as the magically adept and exceedingly well-endowed superheroine The Mink. Laura was once a gawky, unimpressive teenager, winding her way through college without much of a plan for the future, until she found a grimoire of exceptional power in a rare book shop. Abandoning her studies, all her money, and most of her thoughts for the outside world, Laura threw herself head-first into learning magic, quickly finding that she had an amazing latent talent for spellcraft.

One of the first things Laura chose to do with her new abilities was to change herself: gone was the thin, flat-chested, overlooked recluse, replaced with a build that can only be described as "amazonian". Now well over six feet tall, exceptionally strong, and with a body that no man seemed able to resist, The Mink set about to being a far stronger woman than she had ever been as "Little Laura".

The Mink ran as a serial-format story, beginning in the original issue of Genus in 1994. The first story, Do You Believe In Magic?, had The Mink saving her old friend Shelly from an alleyway mugger. The rest of the piece was primarily backstory, establishing Laura's aquisition of the Grimoire and her changes.

When Genus changed from a "mature audiences" comic to "adults only" after issue #4, the flavour of the story changed dramatically. No longer bound to a "soft R" rating, Karno was free to include quite a bit of violence and, even moreso, his trademark over the top sex. SEX! is exactly what the title indicates and not much more, and while later chapters would certainly not be page after page of copulation, Laura's alarmingly active sex drive would feature highly throughout.

The first major story arc presented The Mink fighting a demon who had rampaged throughout the minds of mages for centuries, and who was steadily eating away at her own psyche. With the help of Karno's earlier creation, the brazen, gun-packing sociopath Savage Squirrel. Through judicious application of magic, 9mm rounds, high explosives, and The Mink's own enhanced "assets", the demon was put to rest in Kill A Demon?.

Since that early story arc, The Mink, along with Shelly, Savage Squirrel and his fiance, have dodged a magic-hungry techno-wizard, fought off zombies, tried to manage the responsibilities of her powers, and even dealt with a troop of angry giants who lost their leader. (This last story was not printed in Genus, but only ran in the long out-of-print Savage Funnies.) The last major storyline began with The Toy Boy and centered around The Mink's discovery of a group of genetically modified "children", built-to-order for the sexual fantasies of the buyer, after one attempted suicide to escape his "owner". Laura travelled far and wide, tracking down the few "children" she could and taking the three--Hoy, Huundrat, and Bovie--as a sort of surrugate family of her own.

After that final entry, the twenty-third of the serial, the curtain unofficially closed on The Mink. While Karno has not stated that the story is over as it stands, there have been no new chapters in a number of years; Karno's primarily focus as of late has been on his barnyard sex romps in the pages of Mu's Wild!. Whether or not this is final is yet to be determined, but with Karno no longer appearing in Sin Factory comics and the sudden discontinuation of Wild!, it looks like Laura will spend her days quitely with the "children" and Shelly.

For the reader who would like to catch up with the adventures of the gang in all their violent and carnal glory, the best overall book to begin with is Genus's Greatest Hits #2, which while out-of-print is not difficult to come by, and features the original seven chapters. Other chapters appear through various issues of Genus proper, and are moderately rare. There is also a The Mink portfolio based on the chapter "SEX!"; it simply features all of the art panels without any of the binding text or bookend segments between Shelly and Laura.

It should be noted that, beyond the first two chapters, there is often extremely graphic sexual content in nearly every chapter. This material is intended strictly for adult audiences, and even they should understand Karno's propensities before reading.

The Wulf Archives is the name of a series of erotic sword and sorcery stories written by Anthony Pryor about a freelancer wizard school drop out turned thief and mercenary.

Its furry nature is made evident from the first story on by the fact that the story world has numerous civilizations of various humanoid furry species such as the N'Doro (lion men), the Kaitians (tiger people), Wolfen (wolf people) and ratling (rat people). These species and others make a significant presence in the story world in addition to the standard fantasy character types such as elves, dwarves and dragons.

Furthermore, given the erotic nature of the stories, Wulf has several lovers of the various furry species. The strongest relationship in this regard is with Shu Li, a vivacious kaitian warrior who has taken Wulf as her companion as well as her other lover, Tanu the wolfen tamer, as they search for her enslaved sister. In addition, Wulf as taken the form of a lion man called Chuma in numerous stories where his exotically handsome and well endowed body has attracted considerable female interest.

The setting for this story has also been used by jonwI for his story The Taj Saga, which has a N'Doro as its main character.

Wolves are pack predators. Wolves are the most popular species for fursonas.

In ancient Rome, wolves were considered symbols of sexual potency, as well as good mothers: a wolf raised Romulus and Remus, after all. In the modern times, wolves are still sometimes considered pests and dangerous, and are hunted without need. However, modern scientific research, nature documentaries and books and films like Never Cry Wolf have done much to turn the public image around for many people. In the furry fandom, a mix of both elements is seen: admiration and distrust.

As the wild ancestors of domestic dogs, wolves seem both familiar and exotic to humans, which might explain their continuing fascination. Wolves have almost become cliches in modern historical and fantasy fiction.
